Infobip AgentOS
Infobip AgentOS is an enterprise platform for building, deploying and managing autonomous AI agents that handle customer conversations across more than fifteen channels, combining journey orchestration, a customer data platform, contact centre tooling and analytics under one platform fee.
What is Infobip AgentOS?
Infobip AgentOS is presented by its publisher as one operating system for agentic customer experiences: a single platform on which enterprises build, deploy and manage AI agents that hold customer conversations on whichever channel a customer already uses. It is not a new product line bolted onto Infobip's communications business but a consolidation of it. The four SaaS platforms the company previously sold separately - Moments, People, Answers and Conversations - were fully deprecated in March 2026 and now exist as modules inside AgentOS.
The platform is organised in layers. At the top sit the delivery surfaces: a web and mobile portal, APIs and an embeddable UI. Beneath them are the working modules, namely journey orchestration, an AI agents studio, a chatbot builder, a cloud contact centre with an omnichannel inbox and queue management, a conversational customer data platform, and an insights and analytics layer. Below those runs the AI infrastructure layer, handling intent detection, model routing, retrieval-augmented generation against the customer's own knowledge base, guardrails and tracing. AgentOS is deliberately LLM-agnostic: Google Vertex AI, OpenAI and Oracle are all offered as selectable providers, with Microsoft and Deepgram supplying speech services.
Agents can be built three ways, and Infobip states that all three deliver the same capabilities: a drag-and-drop visual builder for people who do not code, configurable prebuilt templates, and full pro-code development in Python on top of LangGraph and AutoGen, running on managed auto-scaling Kubernetes. The studio adds natural-language setup, a quality centre for simulating conversations before launch, and version control with instant rollback.
Once live, an agent is activated across WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, email, voice, live chat and more than fifteen channels from a single configuration, keeping context when a customer switches channel. Complex cases hand over to a person in Human Studio with the full conversation history. Governance is a stated priority: configurable guardrails, input and output filtering, complete tracing of agent reasoning, audit trails, role-based access control and data isolation. Infobip advertises a 99.95% uptime commitment and offers cloud or on-premises deployment.

- People under sixteen, who are not permitted to use the services as customers
How to use Infobip AgentOS
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Contact the sales team through the contact page, the only call to action on the AgentOS pricing page, or open an account through the site-wide sign-up link
- Choose how you want to build: the no-code visual builder, a prebuilt template, or full pro-code Python
- Describe what you need in plain language and let the AI generate the workflows, logic and configuration
- Connect your data sources - CRM, databases, ERPs and knowledge bases - through native integrations or Model Context Protocol
- Set the guardrails: approved messaging, data privacy limits, action permissions and escalation triggers
- Test in the quality centre by simulating conversations and validating responses before going live
- Activate the agent across the channels you need, from one configuration
- Configure the handover to human agents in Human Studio so context follows the conversation
- Watch resolution, accuracy, task completion and channel ROI in the insights and analytics dashboards
- Iterate safely, since every change to an agent is tracked and can be rolled back instantly
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Very broad channel coverage from a single configuration, with unlimited inbound messages included at no cost
- LLM-agnostic by design, so the model can be chosen for performance, data residency, cost or regulatory fit
- An explicit promise that customer data is never used to train or fine-tune any model, in an isolated tenancy
- Three technical entry points - no-code, low-code and pro-code - said to deliver identical agent capabilities
- Certifications that are published and downloadable: ISO 9001, 22301, 27001, 27017 and 27018, SOC 2 Type 2, CSA STAR level 1
- Customer data stored in EU data centres by default, with an EU region-locked option on request
- Unusual pricing transparency for this market, with the platform fee and processing fee both stated publicly
Cons
- No permanent free plan, and an entry ticket of 530 USD per month in platform fees alone
- A three-part price - platform, processing and CPaaS delivery - that is hard to forecast
- CPaaS delivery rates vary by region and volume and are not published, requiring a call for local pricing
- Extra user seats and AI credits are available only on quotation
- An enterprise sales motion rather than genuine self-service subscription
- Unfinished pricing documentation: the pricing FAQ still reads '$xxx per outbound message'
- The data retention notice, dated July 2023, still describes Moments, People, Answers, Conversations and Flow, deprecated in March 2026
Pricing & Plans
AgentOS has no permanent free plan. Pricing is assembled from three components: a fixed platform fee starting at 530.00 USD per month, a processing fee starting at 0.07456 USD per outbound interaction, and standard CPaaS delivery rates that vary by region and by volume. Inbound messages are free and unlimited. The platform fee covers full access to the customer data platform, AI, journey orchestration and analytics, thirty user seats, monthly AI credits, more than fifteen channels, and broadcast functionality with no processing fee. Additional seats and AI credits are quoted by the sales team. A free trial is documented at Infobip platform level, but the AgentOS pricing page advertises none.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Infobip AgentOS handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed openly and supported by published documents. The AgentOS pages advertise SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance and AES-256 encryption, and the product FAQ describes the platform as SOC 2 Type II compliant and GDPR ready. The Privacy Notice, last updated on 22 January 2026, names Infobip Limited, 181 Queen Victoria Street London EC4V 4EG, registration number 7085757, as controller, and gives data-protection-officer@infobip.com for its Data Protection Officer. That EU-based DPO is also designated as the EU Representative, though neither an organisation nor a person is named. In customer relationships the customer is controller and Infobip processor, with a pre-signed Data Processing Agreement published as a PDF. Transfers outside the EU rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Who owns the data?
Under the Terms and Conditions the customer stays the controller of end-user personal data and Infobip acts as processor, handling it only on the customer's instructions. Infobip keeps ownership of its own software, applications and intellectual property, granting a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the life of the contract. The customer separately assigns to Infobip, unconditionally and irrevocably, all rights in what the terms call Resultant Data: anonymised, aggregated information about how the services are used. That category expressly excludes anything identifying the customer or an individual, and excludes confidential information. Infobip states it will not disclose a customer's or an end-user's data to any other customer.
Reuse rights
Customers hold a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence, usable only in connection with the services themselves. They may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, translate, create derivative works from, rent, lease, resell or sublicense the platform, and website content may not be exploited commercially without prior written consent. Those rights end with the contract, at which point software and applications must be destroyed and use must stop. Customers can export their own communication logs and reports from the platform tools, and retention periods can be shortened free of charge or extended at extra cost. On Infobip's side, the terms authorise reuse of anonymised Resultant Data and of traffic data - duration, timing, type, source and destination - to improve and develop its products and for any other legally permitted purpose. The sub-processors page adds a firmer promise: customer data is never used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model, whichever LLM provider is selected, and is processed in an isolated tenancy. Readers should note that the AI agents product page says the opposite in marketing language, claiming every interaction becomes training data.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Infobip runs more than forty data centres worldwide and lets customers choose where their data lives. The published default is firm: unless otherwise agreed in writing, customer data is stored and processed in Infobip data centres inside the European Union, and any transfer to a data centre outside the EU requires an explicit customer instruction. An EU region-locked data centre is available on request, and with it the support model can be restricted so that only staff in the EU and in countries with adequate protection may access the data. Otherwise a twenty-four-hour follow-the-sun support model applies, in which engineers outside the EU access data in its original location without moving it to another jurisdiction. One documented exception covers complex email or voice troubleshooting handled from Bosnia and Herzegovina, after a transfer impact assessment. Sub-processors and their locations are published in full, including Microsoft Ireland, Google, OpenAI in Ireland for EU customers, Deepgram and Oracle, with Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as transfer mechanisms. No individual hosting country is named.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Infobip AgentOS.
- Agents act autonomously on real workflows - refunds, orders, payments - so a misconfigured agent takes real actions, not just wrong words
- Guardrails and content filtering are configured by the customer, which means the quality of the safety net depends entirely on whoever sets it
- The site contradicts itself on model training: the AI agents page says every interaction becomes training data while the sub-processors page guarantees the opposite
- Customers irrevocably assign anonymised Resultant Data to Infobip and authorise reuse of traffic data for product development
- Under the follow-the-sun support model, Infobip staff outside the EU can access customer data in place unless the EU region-locked option is taken
- The platform depends on third-party LLM providers such as Google, OpenAI and Oracle, with transfers outside the EU covered by contractual clauses
- Automating up to ninety percent of enquiries can quietly erode the human relationship that made customers loyal in the first place
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Adjustable rather than uniformly hard. Business users can assemble agents in a drag-and-drop builder or start from prebuilt templates, and Infobip says agents can be live within hours that way. Describing the need in plain language generates the workflows and configuration automatically. Developers get REST APIs with OpenAPI specs, Postman collections, five SDKs, webhooks and MCP servers, with managed auto-scaling Kubernetes behind pro-code agents. The real friction is commercial and architectural rather than technical: entry goes through sales, and connecting the CRM, ERP and knowledge base is the work that precedes any production launch.

Should you pick Infobip AgentOS?
AgentOS is best understood as an agentic layer laid over an existing global communications network rather than a standalone AI product. That heritage is its main argument: the same platform that connects to hundreds of carriers and runs more than forty data centres now offers an agent studio, retrieval over your own knowledge base, guardrails and tracing on top. Consolidating four previously separate products into one platform in March 2026 simplifies the catalogue, and the three build modes mean a support manager and a Python engineer can work on the same agent from opposite ends.
The governance story is unusually concrete for this category. Certificates are published and downloadable, EU storage is the documented default with a region-locked option, retention periods are listed data type by data type, and the sub-processors page carries an explicit promise that customer data never trains a model. Two caveats sit alongside that. The AI agents page contradicts the promise in marketing language, and several published documents have aged out of step with the product: a July 2023 retention notice still names modules deprecated in March 2026, and the pricing FAQ still shows a placeholder amount.
Commercially this is enterprise software and does not pretend otherwise. A 530 USD monthly platform fee is only the floor of a three-part bill whose delivery component is quoted privately, extra seats and credits are negotiated, and the only call to action on the pricing page is to contact sales. Publishing the platform and processing fees at all is nevertheless more than most competitors do. Teams with the volume to justify a contract and a real need for channel breadth will find the offer legible; smaller teams will find no entry point.
