Overview

What is Parloa AMP?

Parloa AMP is the AI Agent Management Platform built by Parloa GmbH, a Berlin company, for enterprise contact centres. Rather than shipping a single chatbot, it treats an AI agent as something to be governed across a full lifecycle, organised into four stages: design and integrate, test and iterate, deploy and scale, then monitor and improve.

Agents are assembled in Parloa Studio from a natural-language brief describing a company's own policies, data and processes. Pre-built skills cover recurring jobs such as routing, knowledge lookup and payments; custom skills and specialised subtask agents handle the rest, while MCP skills connect an agent natively to CRMs, booking engines, ticketing platforms and authentication tools. Before anything reaches a customer, teams run simulations blending historical transcripts with synthetic cases, score results using both LLM-based and rule-based evaluations, keep version history, and switch between staging and production.

Once live, the same agent definition is published to phone, chat, messaging, click-to-call and multimodal channels, adapted by region, language and voice, with model orchestration and the option to bring your own speech-to-text, text-to-speech and large language model. Parloa Lens, the Data Hub and the Conversation Store cover observability: sentiment trajectory, containment, drop-off and anomaly detection, alerts on PII leaks, hallucinations and out-of-scope answers, line-level fix recommendations, and export to external business intelligence tools.

Safety runs in parallel with every response rather than after it. Per-agent controls block harmful content, enforce which topics an agent may discuss, and detect jailbreak attempts, role switching and social engineering by reading the whole conversation history at each turn. The platform is presented against ISO 27001:2022, ISO 17442:2020, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, DORA and GDPR, and is the only customer-facing voice AI platform certified as an SAP Endorsed App Premium.

Parloa claims coverage of more than 140 languages across over 100 countries, on telephony infrastructure it owns outright. Published references include Allianz, Booking.com, IKEA, SAP and Swiss Life; the BarmeniaGothaer "Mina" agent is credited with a 90% workload reduction at the switchboard and a 179% NPS increase.

What it does

  • Build a customer-service AI agent from a natural-language brief based on your own policies, data and processes
  • Run thousands of simulated conversations and score agents before they ever reach a customer
  • Publish one agent definition to phone, chat, messaging, click-to-call and multimodal channels
  • Monitor live conversations for sentiment, containment, drop-off, PII leaks and hallucinations
  • Connect CRM, CCaaS and business systems through one-click connectors, REST API or MCP
  • Enforce per-agent safety rules that block harmful content, off-topic answers and jailbreak attempts
  • Hand a conversation over to a human agent when the AI reaches its limits

When to use Parloa AMP / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Parloa AMP is the right fit.

When to use Parloa AMP

  • Large enterprises running high-volume phone and messaging support in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance and healthcare
  • CX and contact-centre leaders who need to govern AI agents end to end rather than launch a standalone bot
  • Organisations already invested in a CCaaS, CRM or ERP stack that has to be connected rather than replaced
  • Multilingual, multi-market service operations that need one agent definition adapted per region, language and channel
  • Risk, compliance and audit teams that require traceable logs, version history and human oversight over every conversation

When not to use Parloa AMP

  • Freelancers, very small businesses and startups: there is no self-service tier and every entry point runs through a sales conversation
  • Buyers who need a public price before talking to anyone, since no pricing page exists anywhere on the site
  • Teams looking to trial a product the same day: no free plan and no free trial are advertised
  • Users wanting a general-purpose AI assistant, as the platform is built specifically for customer service conversations
  • Anyone expecting a mobile app, since the product is delivered as a web application and an API only

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Covers the whole agent lifecycle in a single tool, from first draft to post-launch tuning
  • Unusually dense compliance base: ISO 27001:2022, ISO 17442:2020, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, DORA, C5 and GDPR
  • Output ownership granted to the customer on broad terms, with inputs and outputs contractually restricted to operating the service
  • A Data Processing Agreement is written into the general terms as part of the contract
  • Named integrations with the main CCaaS and CRM vendors, plus a REST API and MCP for anything else
  • Published, quantified customer results rather than generic claims, and the only SAP Endorsed App Premium certification in customer-facing voice AI
  • European vendor headquartered in Berlin and financially solid, with more than 560 million dollars raised

Cons

  • No public pricing at all: no pricing page exists among the 872 URLs of the sitemap, so budgeting requires a sales conversation
  • No free plan, no free trial and no self-service sign-up are advertised
  • The trust centre is not publicly reachable, so subprocessor lists and audit reports cannot be reviewed before contact
  • A REST API is claimed but no public API documentation is published
  • No named list of supported languages, only a 140+ claim, which makes verification impossible
  • No mobile application: access is web and API only
  • No documented option to exclude your data from model training, and the vendor does not review whether your use cases comply with the GDPR or the AI Act
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

Parloa does not publish any price. There is no pricing page on the site, no permanent free plan and no free trial is advertised, so no entry price point can be quoted. Access is arranged exclusively through a sales conversation initiated from the demo request page. The contractual documents indicate that billing includes a consumption component, governed by the Customer AMP Fair Use and Dynamic Consumption Policy (V2.1, applicable from June 2026), and that professional services are contracted separately under their own description.

Prices and plans listed above may evolve. Always check the official pricing page before subscribing.
Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Parloa AMP handles your data.

GDPR overview

GDPR implementation is documented rather than merely claimed. Parloa GmbH is established in Berlin, so no Article 27 representative is required, and a data protection officer is named in the privacy policy: Frank Trautwein of Fresh Compliance GmbH, reachable at privacy@parloa.com. Clause 9.1 of the General Terms and Conditions states that the parties conclude a Data Processing Agreement forming part of the contract. The platform page claims compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and the homepage displays ISO 27001:2022, ISO 17442:2020, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA and DORA. Dedicated DORA and C5 documents cover German and EU customers. One caveat: the AI Terms state that Parloa does not review whether customer inputs and use cases comply with the GDPR or the AI Act.

Who owns the data?

Under the Customer AI Terms (V3, 2025), Parloa grants the customer an exclusive, transferable and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, store and distribute the outputs its agents generate, with no time or territory limit, the only exception being use of those outputs to develop or train competing AI systems. The customer is responsible for obtaining the rights and consents of its own users over the inputs and outputs. Parloa separately keeps a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and royalty-free licence over metadata, contractually defined as technical, operational and telemetry data such as system logs, call records, timestamps, SIP headers and session identifiers, and explicitly excluding personal data or anything that could identify a user or customer.

Reuse rights

The customer can reuse the generated outputs freely for its own business purposes and to serve its own end users, without asking Parloa for permission, and may sublicense and transfer that right. Two limits apply: outputs may not be used to develop or train a competing AI system, and they may not be used to create synthetic training data for models with similar functions unless product-specific terms allow it. On Parloa's side, clause 8.2 restricts the vendor to using inputs and outputs solely to operate, maintain and provide the products, while clause 6.1 states that the underlying models are pre-trained on data sources independent of customer input. Metadata, which excludes personal data, may be reused by Parloa to maintain and improve the products, and that right survives termination.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Retention is described as configurable rather than fixed. The security page states that the platform offers PII redaction and flexible data retention policies, without publishing any duration. For calls handled by Parloa's own inbound voice agent, the privacy policy says data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to process the enquiry. The general terms place commercial and tax retention obligations on the customer, not the vendor. Two points are worth noting: no retention period is published for AMP customer data, and Parloa's licence over technical metadata, which contractually excludes personal data, survives the end of the contract. The platform includes a Conversation Store, but no retention policy for it is public.

Hosting summary

The hosting information Parloa publishes concerns its own website and the inbound voice agent that answers calls to the company, not explicitly the customer tenants of AMP. Within that scope, the privacy policy names Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service with processing in Europe, Salesforce hosted in Germany, Eleven Labs with processing in the United States, and Google Cloud Storage as hosting and backend infrastructure with no country stated. Dedicated DORA and C5 documents are offered to German and EU customers, which points to European data handling for regulated accounts. Nothing public states where AMP customer conversations are stored, and the trust centre that would carry that answer is not accessible without contacting the vendor. The company itself is established in Berlin, with a US subsidiary in New York.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Parloa AMP.

  • No public price and a dynamic consumption model means real costs only become visible once you are deep in a sales cycle
  • Parloa keeps a perpetual, irrevocable and sublicensable licence over technical metadata that survives the end of the contract
  • The vendor does not review whether your inputs or use cases comply with the GDPR or the AI Act, so that responsibility stays entirely with you
  • Access can be suspended or restricted without prior notice for use deemed non-compliant, with no compensation or refund
  • No warranty is given on the performance, availability, accuracy or reliability of the generated outputs, so human review of what agents say remains necessary
  • Handing front-line conversations to AI agents can erode the tacit knowledge that human agents accumulate about customers and edge cases
  • The subprocessor list and hosting location for customer tenants are not publicly verifiable, since the trust centre is closed
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Moderate to high, and never immediate. There is no self-service path: setup starts with a sales cycle and continues as a project, with Parloa's legal, compliance and IT counterparts involved from day one. Building the agent itself is designed to be accessible, using a natural-language brief, an AI copilot, industry templates and one-click authenticated connectors. The heavier work is the enterprise plumbing: connecting CCaaS, CPaaS, workforce management, CRM and ERP systems, plus SIP telephony. Parloa claims go-live in weeks rather than months, and sells professional services separately.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Parloa AMP?
Parloa AMP is the AI Agent Management Platform published by Parloa GmbH. It lets enterprise contact centres design, test, deploy and continuously optimise AI agents that handle customer conversations.
Which channels does it support?
One agent definition can be published to phone, chat, messaging, click-to-call and multimodal channels, and adapted per region, language and voice from the same platform.
How much does Parloa AMP cost?
No price is published. There is no pricing page on the site and no free plan or free trial is advertised; access goes through a demo request and a sales conversation. Contracts include a dynamic consumption component governed by a fair use policy.
Is customer data used to train the models?
The AI Terms restrict Parloa to using inputs and outputs solely to operate, maintain and provide the service, and state that the underlying models are pre-trained on data sources independent of customer input. Parloa does keep a perpetual licence over technical metadata, which is contractually defined as excluding personal data.
Who owns the content the agents generate?
The customer receives an exclusive, transferable and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, store and distribute the outputs, with no time or territory limit. The only exclusion is using those outputs to develop or train competing AI systems.
Is a Data Processing Agreement available?
Yes. Clause 9.1 of the general terms and conditions states that the parties conclude a Data Processing Agreement which forms part of the contract. A data protection officer is also named in the privacy policy.
Which certifications does the platform hold?
The site displays ISO 27001:2022, ISO 17442:2020, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA and DORA, alongside a C5 statement for German and EU customers and a business associate agreement for US customers.
What can it be integrated with?
Named integrations include Avaya, Five9, Genesys, Microsoft Dynamics, NICE, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Twilio, Verint, Zendesk and Epic, complemented by a REST API for custom services and MCP skills for other tools.
How many languages does it handle?
No named list is published. Parloa claims coverage of more than 140 languages across over 100 countries, and lets teams choose languages and voices when composing an agent.
Is there a mobile app?
No. There is no App Store or Google Play listing; the product is a web application accessed at app.parloa.com, with a REST API for programmatic use.
Conclusion

Should you pick Parloa AMP?

Parloa AMP is not a chatbot builder wearing an enterprise badge; it is a management platform whose whole logic is that an AI agent has to be designed, stress-tested, deployed and then watched. That framing shows in the product: simulation runs against real transcripts, LLM and rule-based scoring, version history, staging and production environments, and an observability layer that flags PII leaks, hallucinations and out-of-scope answers on live traffic. The compliance base is unusually dense for the category, with ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, DORA and a C5 statement, and the contractual position is more favourable than most: the customer gets broad ownership of the generated outputs, inputs are contractually limited to operating the service, and a Data Processing Agreement is built into the general terms.

The reservations are mostly about what cannot be seen from outside. There is no published price anywhere on the site, no free plan, no trial and no self-service sign-up, so the only way to size the investment is to contact sales. The trust centre that would hold the subprocessor list and the audit reports is not publicly reachable. A REST API is advertised without public documentation, and the 140-language claim comes with no list to check it against. Parloa also states plainly that it does not review whether a customer's inputs and use cases comply with the GDPR or the AI Act, which leaves that burden where it started.

For a large organisation running high-volume, voice-heavy service in a regulated market, the combination of lifecycle tooling, audit trail and named CCaaS integrations is a serious proposition, backed by a company that raised 350 million dollars in January 2026. For anyone smaller, or anyone who needs to evaluate before talking to a salesperson, it is out of reach.
