sandsiv+
Swiss-built agentic Voice of the Customer platform for large organisations. It ingests surveys, calls, tickets and reviews across 90+ connectors, then runs specialist AI agents that price each friction in euros, name an owner and track the fix to closure.
What is sandsiv+?
sandsiv+ is an enterprise Voice of the Customer platform published by SandSIV Schweiz AG in Zurich. It is built around one claim: feedback is not what enterprises lack — a price on the damage, a named owner and a hard deadline are. The platform is organised in three stages, Listen, Analyze & Quantify and Close the Loop.
On the capture side there are four channels, each built rather than bolted on: web surveys sent by email invitation, DIGI for on-site intercepts, pop-ups and embeds with a chat mode and matrix questions, SMS through the customer's own gateway, and IVR with keypad capture and recorded voice answers. Speech to text has shipped since February 2021, and voice is a column type in the data model. More than ninety connectors feed the same stream, alongside scheduled SFTP imports, manual file uploads, typed uploads and a JWT-authenticated REST API. Verbatims in more than 250 languages are normalised into one base language before analysis.
Analysis runs as a pipeline of nine specialist agents — data quality, domain context, sentiment, themes, trends, segments, risk, synthesis — with a ninth whose only job is to challenge the other eight, re-read their SQL and lower confidence scores that are not earned. Forty-three analysis types are available, including aspect-based sentiment scored from minus one to plus one with a confidence level, and complaint risk scored on likelihood and severity. The model can only assign categories that exist in the taxonomy the customer has approved. A governed layer called the Knowledge Pack holds approved metrics with their formulas, a glossary, rules and documented data traps, and nothing enters an agent's context until a human has said yes.
An agent named Scoty carries 104 tools across ten packs and writes to real tables: asked for a dashboard, it builds the dashboard. Findings arrive with a euro figure, an owner and a date, and are routed into ticketing and tracked to closure. The same engine, InsightNarrator, is also sold standalone. The platform runs on European or Swiss cloud, private cloud, the customer's own data centre, or fully on premise with the language model inside their walls.
What it does
- Collect customer feedback across web surveys, on-site intercepts, SMS and IVR, and pull it in from more than ninety connected systems
- Transcribe recorded voice answers and run speech analytics on calls, with voice handled as a first-class data type rather than an attachment
- Normalise verbatims from more than 250 languages into one base language so every comment enters the same analysis
- Run forty-three analysis types, including aspect-level sentiment scored against the customer's own approved taxonomy
- Attach a euro figure to each driver and expose the revenue at risk, account by account
- Route each case to a named owner with a deadline, push it into the ticketing system and measure the time to closure
- Ask an agent to build surveys, dashboards, widgets and taxonomy changes directly, rather than describing what could be done
When to use sandsiv+ / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if sandsiv+ is the right fit.
When to use sandsiv+
- Enterprise CX and customer insight teams already running a Voice of the Customer programme who want causes and euro amounts rather than another score on a dashboard
- Organisations in regulated sectors — hospitals, banks, insurers, telecoms, public bodies — that must keep customer data under Swiss or EU jurisdiction, or inside their own walls
- Companies leaving Medallia or Qualtrics, who need a fixed-price migration with survey logic, dashboards and response history carried across without a cut-over day
- High-volume feedback operations that are penalised by per-response or per-seat meters, since volume, users, surveys and dashboards are not priced separately here
- Teams that must show their working to a risk or audit committee: every figure carries the query that produced it, the row counts and the freshness of the data
When not to use sandsiv+
- Small businesses and individual practitioners: there is no self-service signup, no published price and no card checkout — every paid tier goes through a demo and a scoped contract
- Buyers who need to compare budgets before talking to anyone, since no amount, tier price or currency appears anywhere on the site
- Teams whose main need is academic-grade survey research design, a case the vendor itself hands to Qualtrics on its own comparison page
- Organisations requiring that no third-party operator exists anywhere in the stack: in the cloud models the infrastructure is run by a third party, and the vendor says so plainly
- Anyone expecting a mobile app or a lightweight tool: store probes return nothing, and the product is a web platform with a REST API
How to use sandsiv+
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Start from the pricing section of the homepage, which sets out three tiers: a free on-ramp, the full sandsiv+ platform on one annual fee, and a custom Sovereign Enterprise tier
- Either book a demo — thirty minutes with a specialist, answered within one business day — or start the 14-day free trial, which runs in InsightNarrator on a separate site
- For regulated environments, use the enterprise route instead, where infrastructure, sovereignty and procurement questions are prepared in advance
- Bring one quarter of your own feedback to the demo: the vendor offers to analyse real data rather than show a canned dataset
- If you are switching platforms, take the free migration assessment first; it ends in a written scope at a fixed price
- Choose the deployment model and pin the hosting country by contract before signature, and put the security questionnaire on the table at the first call
- Let the migration run: twenty-four specialist agents move response history, survey logic, dashboards and integrations while the old platform keeps running alongside
- Sign the data processing addendum, which the general terms require before any personal data is uploaded
- Configure journeys, dashboards, surveys and triggers yourself, and approve the metrics, glossary and rules that the agents are allowed to read
- For automation, request an access code from support and retrieve a JWT token to call the REST API
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A jurisdictional argument that is actually documented: a Swiss company with no US parent, eight hosting zones across five Swiss or EU countries, and a hosting country that can be pinned by contract
- Full on-premise deployment is offered, with the language model running inside the customer's own perimeter
- One annual fee with unlimited volume, users, surveys and dashboards, so listening to more customers does not raise the bill
- Analysis you can audit: every answer carries its source, the query that produced it, the row counts and the freshness of the data
- A quality-auditor agent whose only job is to challenge the other agents, plus an internal rule against self-certification
- Independent analyst recognition, including first place at 8.9 out of 10 in the 2026 SoftwareReviews Voice of the Customer category, scored from verified end-user reviews
- A vendor that publishes its own limits, including a page listing what it does not claim
Cons
- No public price at all: no amount, no tier figure and no currency appear anywhere on the site, so budget comparison requires a sales conversation
- The free trial does not run on sandsiv+ but on InsightNarrator, a separate product on a separate domain, and the homepage tier card that says free to start is the same fourteen-day trial
- The ISO 27001, 27701, 27017, 27018 and SOC 2 Type II claims carry no certificate number and name no certifying body; reports are under NDA and scope statements must be requested
- No public sub-processor list for the platform: it lives in the statement of work and the data processing addendum, not on the website
- The general terms contain residues of a contract template written for another market, including a governing-law clause naming Saudi law while the stated jurisdiction is Swiss
- Performance figures — ninety per cent faster from signal to action, six days against forty-two, thirty-eight per cent fewer inbound calls — are vendor-observed medians with no published methodology
- No mobile application, and the public API documentation amounts to a single page on token retrieval, with the rest behind authentication
Pricing & Plans
No price is published. Across the whole site and its machine-readable reference file, sandsiv+ carries no amount, no tier figure and no currency: the model is a single annual fee, described in the general terms as subscription fees set in each statement of work, and scoped to deployment model, integrations, modules, features, performance and support level. Volume, users, surveys, dashboards and channels are not billed separately, migration is included at a fixed price in every tier, and new features are said to carry no additional cost. A free entry point exists but belongs to a different product: the fourteen-day trial runs in InsightNarrator, on a separate site. Whether that on-ramp remains free permanently is not stated. The vendor claims a total cost typically thirty to forty per cent below legacy vendors, and half of the current bill against a Medallia renewal, but publishes no figure of its own. The large amounts shown on the comparison pages belong to Medallia and Qualtrics, not to sandsiv+.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how sandsiv+ handles your data.
GDPR overview
The primary framework is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, with an express commitment to the GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. The privacy notice, last updated on 30 August 2026, names SandSIV Switzerland Limited as controller at Technoparkstrasse 1, CH-8005 Zurich, and designates a Data Privacy Manager reachable at privacy@sandsiv.com. Eight data subject rights are listed, with a stated response time of one month, and both the Swiss commissioner and the UK ICO are named as supervisory authorities. Personal data is not transferred outside Switzerland, the UK and the EEA without the safeguards the law requires. For platform customers the general terms make a data processing addendum mandatory before any personal data is uploaded, and a template is available on request. No EU representative under Article 27 is named.
Who owns the data?
Under the general terms the customer is the data controller and SANDSIV the processor, acting only on the customer's documented instructions and under a data processing addendum that must be in force before any personal data is uploaded. The customer alone is responsible for the legality and quality of the data it loads. The vendor states that the customer's data remains entirely its own, with open architecture, full export and no lock-in on the way out. Two limits deserve attention: SANDSIV keeps ownership of the software and of the deliverables it produces, and after termination it may destroy the customer data unless a return request arrives within fourteen days.
Reuse rights
The customer can export its data at any time, in any format, and the vendor presents open architecture and full exportability as a commitment that survives the end of the contract. On request SANDSIV also supplies a copy of the personal data it holds, in an agreed format, although the terms note that this is at the customer's cost and that consultancy fees may apply. In the other direction, SANDSIV states repeatedly that nothing loaded into the platform trains a shared model and that there is no cross-customer training corpus. The general terms qualify this: customer data may be used to improve the performance of the application where the customer instructs or authorises it, and then only under the data processing addendum. The terms of use also disclose that the AI features may call external large language models through APIs.

Hosting summary
The platform runs on Exoscale, operated by Akenes SA, a Swiss company founded in 2011 whose parent is A1 Digital, part of the Austrian A1 Telekom Austria Group. Eight zones sit across five Swiss or EU countries: Geneva, Zurich, Vienna twice, Frankfurt, Munich, Sofia and Zagreb. The hosting country can be pinned by contract, and Switzerland alone is presented as a real option rather than a marketing label. Four deployment models are offered: EU or Swiss cloud, dedicated private cloud, the customer's own data centre, and fully on premise with the language model inside the customer's perimeter, including air-gapped installations updated through the customer's own service provider. Open-weight models are computed in the EU. The vendor states that it does not move data between regions to balance load or run analysis, and that customer-managed keys are supported. The marketing website itself is a separate matter: it is served through Cloudflare and uses American services, which the vendor discloses on its own sovereignty page.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting sandsiv+.
- The company says it was founded in 2010 and the domain has carried a Voice of the Customer site since 2013, but the legal entity named in the legal notice was entered in the Zurich commercial register only on 2 October 2014; no earlier SANDSIV entity appears in the Swiss or UK registers
- Every page footer reads SANDSIV AG while the legal notice and privacy notice name SandSIV Schweiz AG, also known as SandSIV Switzerland Limited; no company called SANDSIV AG exists in the Swiss register
- The general terms state that the agreement is governed by Saudi law while submitting disputes to the Swiss courts, and refer to transfers outside the Middle East and North Africa; these are template residues, so any contractual fact drawn from that document should be confirmed in writing
- The privacy notice and the sovereignty page promise no transfer outside Switzerland, the UK and the EEA without safeguards, while the general terms name Ukraine among the countries where sub-contractors sit
- The certifications listed under the hosting provider, including TISAX, BSI C5 and HDS, belong to Akenes SA and not to the publisher; only CSA STAR Level 1 is independently verifiable in the vendor's own name
- Customer data may be destroyed fourteen days after termination unless a return request has been sent, so the exit procedure needs to be planned before it is needed
- The commitment that nothing trains a shared model does not cover using customer data to improve the application, which the general terms allow when the customer authorises it: read that clause before assuming a blanket prohibition
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Moderate, and largely handled by the vendor. New deployments are announced as live in one week with migration included, and platform migrations run through twenty-four specialist agents under human supervision, preceded by a free assessment and a fixed-price written scope. The legacy platform keeps running alongside, so there is no cut-over day. Day-to-day configuration is self-service: business teams set up journeys, dashboards, surveys and triggers without a certified administrator. Two things do require internal effort: approving the metrics, glossary and rules that the agents may read, and, if you choose on-premise, accepting that it costs more and follows your own change windows.

Should you pick sandsiv+?
sandsiv+ is a serious European answer to the American Voice of the Customer incumbents, and it argues its case on two fronts rather than one. The first is jurisdictional: a Swiss company with no US parent, hosting across eight Swiss and EU zones with the country pinnable by contract, and a full on-premise option with the language model inside the customer's own walls. The second is commercial: one annual fee, with volume, users, surveys and dashboards not metered, against pricing models that charge for listening more.
What can be checked holds up well. The publisher is registered in the Zurich commercial register, the CSA STAR Level 1 entry is nominative in the Cloud Security Alliance's public registry, the analyst placements are attributable, and named customers are quoted by named individuals. The product itself is unusually explicit about its own mechanics, down to the agent that exists to contradict the other agents.
What cannot be checked is where a buyer should keep their guard up. There is no price anywhere, so no budget can be framed without a sales conversation. The ISO and SOC 2 claims carry no certificate number and no certifying body. The headline performance figures are vendor-observed medians without published methodology. The general terms still carry clauses drafted for another market, which makes any contractual fact drawn from them worth confirming in writing.
For an enterprise CX programme in a regulated sector, particularly one considering a move off Medallia or Qualtrics, this is a credible shortlist candidate. For anyone who needs to self-serve, compare prices before talking, or work from a mobile app, it is not.
