VetoCall IA
VetoCall IA is a French AI voice agent that answers a veterinary clinic's phone around the clock, qualifies each caller's request without giving medical advice, then emails a structured written summary sorted by reason and urgency.
What is VetoCall IA?
VetoCall IA is an AI voice agent — the publisher calls it an intelligent telephone switchboard — built for veterinary clinics. It picks up the calls the practice cannot take: during consultations, at lunchtime, in the evening, at weekends, or whenever the team is simply busy elsewhere.
The mechanism is deliberately undemanding on the clinic's side. ENPS creates and configures an agent for the practice and assigns it a dedicated phone number; the clinic then activates call forwarding from its main line to that number. Nothing is installed. The agent speaks in natural language, asks qualifying questions about the reason for the call, the type of care needed and the caller's availability, and gives no medical advice. Every call produces a written summary emailed to the practice, categorised by reason and by level of importance, so the team works through prioritised callbacks instead of listening to a full answering machine.
Configuration is done for the clinic rather than by it: opening hours, the services offered and the tone of the greeting are set during onboarding, and two agent personas are available — Julia, presented as warm, and Axel, as efficient. Scripts and vocabulary were written by veterinarians, and an unnamed technology partner, described only as the French pioneer of conversational AI, supplies the underlying voice technology. The licence also advertises appointment SMS, an import of the clinic's client base, unlimited veterinary-nurse accounts and monthly reporting.
The publisher, ENPS SAS (RCS Nanterre 501 002 471, VAT FR88501002471), claims twenty years in customer-relationship services for the liberal professions and around 50 staff in France. The homepage advertises more than 200 equipped clients, 100,000 minutes of conversation, 95% satisfied customers and support six days a week, and points to a TF1 news report and a webinar replay. Health data is hosted in the EU/EEA by AZNETWORK, a certified health data host — that certification belongs to the host, not to ENPS.
The limits are set out by the publisher itself: VetoCall IA is not a medical device, is not designed for life-threatening emergencies, and offers no therapeutic or scientific advice. Activation is guaranteed within 15 days, and the contract opens with a 15-calendar-day discovery period.
What it does
- Answers the clinic's incoming calls 24/7, or only on the time slots you choose
- Qualifies each request in natural language: reason for calling, urgency, type of care, availability
- Transcribes the conversation and emails a structured written summary after every call
- Sorts calls by reason and by level of importance so callbacks can be prioritised
- Sends appointment SMS messages to callers
- Draws on the clinic's imported client and patient records during the call
- Switches on and off on demand, like a light switch, from the web application
When to use VetoCall IA / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if VetoCall IA is the right fit.
When to use VetoCall IA
- Independent veterinary clinics with a small front desk: the publisher states its plans cover 90% of independent practices
- Veterinary nurses and technicians (ASV) who are pulled away from patients every time the phone rings
- Practices that want evenings, weekends and lunch breaks covered without hiring or paying for a human answering service
- Multi-vet clinics and veterinary groups handling 500 to 3,000 calls a month, served by the quote-based plans
- France-based practitioners, since the terms only warrant the service against French regulations (article 17.3)
When not to use VetoCall IA
- Emergency and critical care services: the terms state the agent is not designed to handle life-threatening emergencies and never raises an alert
- Anyone expecting clinical input — therapeutic and scientific advice is deliberately excluded from the agent's configuration
- Buyers shopping for a regulated medical device, which the publisher explicitly says VetoCall IA is not
- Clinics operating outside France, where ENPS declines any liability for compliance with foreign regulations
- Teams that need an API or a connector to their practice management software: no public API and no named third-party integration exist
How to use VetoCall IA
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Complete the ENPS membership form and provide bank details for the SEPA direct debit mandate — nothing goes live before this
- Work with the dedicated adviser to configure the agent: services offered, opening hours, greeting style and agent persona
- Receive the dedicated phone number assigned to your clinic's agent
- Activate call forwarding from the clinic's main line to that number
- Set up a secure mailbox for the call summaries; the publisher recommends a Mailiz address, the French health professionals' messaging service
- Let the redirection be installed and a veterinary nurse be trained: activation is guaranteed within 15 days
- Choose when the agent answers — continuously, on selected time slots, or switched off entirely
- Read the structured summaries as they arrive by email and call back in order of importance
- Log in to the web application to work the on/off switch, share the collaborative inbox and read the monthly reports
- Use the 15-calendar-day discovery period to decide, then stay with no fixed term or cancel with one month's notice
Pros & Cons
Pros
- No missed calls, including when the clinic is closed or the whole team is unavailable
- Removes the voicemail chore the site quantifies as 45 minutes of weekend messages
- Summaries already sorted by importance, so callbacks arrive prioritised rather than raw
- No fixed-term commitment: one month's notice to cancel, after a free 15-day discovery period
- The 890 EUR setup fee is advertised as waived on the current offer
- Health data hosted in the EU with an HDS-certified provider and no transfer outside the Union
- Detailed GDPR framework: named data protection officer and full Article 28 clauses inside the terms
Cons
- No public API and no named third-party integration: the agent stays outside the practice management software
- The 32.50 EUR excl. VAT entry price buys the software licence alone; a consumption plan from 50 EUR excl. VAT a month has to be added
- Prices are shown excluding VAT while article 7.1 of the terms announces prices in euros including all taxes, and the contradiction is never resolved
- One-page site with two competing price grids on the homepage and no dedicated pricing, about, contact or features page
- Eight of the nine FAQ answers are never rendered in the page, so the published FAQ cannot actually be read
- The homepage testimonials come from dental surgeons and name DentalCall IA, the sibling product; parts of the terms still describe a dental practice
- Nothing is published about AI model training on customer data and no opt-out is offered; payment is by SEPA direct debit only, with liability capped at 70% of the annual amount excl. VAT
Pricing & Plans
There is no free plan. Each of the three offers is advertised with a two-week free trial, matching the 15-calendar-day discovery period described in the terms, but continued use is chargeable. The lowest advertised price point is 32.50 EUR excluding VAT per clinic per month, and it covers the Licence logiciel (the software licence) alone. That figure should not be read as the real cost of entry: a Forfait consommation (consumption plan) starting at 50 EUR excluding VAT per month must be added to cover call time, so a working configuration begins at roughly 82.50 EUR excluding VAT per month. High-volume clinics and veterinary groups are quoted individually under the Forfaits sur devis (quote-based plans). The 890 EUR setup fee is currently advertised as waived. Billing is monthly by SEPA direct debit, with invoices issued by Stripe in the name and on behalf of ENPS. Readers should note that article 7.1 of the terms states prices are quoted in euros including all taxes, which contradicts the excluding-VAT figures displayed on the site.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how VetoCall IA handles your data.
GDPR overview
Implementation is concrete rather than declarative. The homepage carries an explicit commitment block on the GDPR (RGPD) and health data hosting, and the privacy policy, last updated on 1 September 2025, names Groupe ENPS (RCS Nanterre 501 002 471) as the controller. A data protection officer is designated, reachable at dpo@vetocall.ai or by post at Webdentiste - DPO, 67 rue Anatole France, 92300 Levallois-Perret. The rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability are listed, with proof of identity possibly required before a request is answered, and complaints are directed to the CNIL (3 Place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 Paris Cedex 07). Health data is treated as Article 9 special-category data and hosted by a provider certified under Article L.1111-8 of the French Public Health Code. The terms themselves carry a full Article 28 processing agreement.
Who owns the data?
The terms draw a clear line. Data about the clinic's own clients and patients stays with the clinic: the practice is the data controller and ENPS acts only as a processor under Article 28 of the GDPR. The clinic keeps full access at any time and may consult, copy, export, amend or delete the data processed on its behalf; at the end of the contract ENPS must delete it or hand it back, at the clinic's choice, unless the law requires retention. ENPS states that its security measures make the data unusable by ENPS itself. Data belonging to the commercial relationship — account, order and billing records — is controlled by ENPS.
Reuse rights
The clinic can reuse its own data without asking anyone: the terms grant permanent access and the right to consult, copy, export, amend or delete everything ENPS processes on its behalf, with no prior authorisation. ENPS, for its part, may act only on the clinic's documented instructions and only for the agreed purpose — transcribing non-medical calls and sending the written summaries. The data handled is described as civil-status data (surname, first name, email) of the clinic's patients, and the privacy policy states that no personal data is transferred outside the European Union. Two secondary uses are reserved by ENPS: marketing to the clinic's professional contact details, and citing the clinic in outside communications, described in the terms as an anonymous mention; both can be refused in writing. Nowhere on the site is the use of customer data to train AI models addressed, in either direction.

Hosting summary
Health data is hosted in the European Union / EEA by AZNETWORK (RCS Alençon 423 880 061), certified as a health data host (HDS) under Article L.1111-8 of the French Public Health Code. That certification is the host's, not the publisher's. The privacy policy states plainly that no personal data is transferred to a state outside the European Union. No individual hosting country is ever named, so the jurisdiction can only be described at EU/EEA level. The website itself is hosted separately by Wix Online Platform Limited, 1 Grant's Row, Dublin 2 D02HX96, Ireland — worth keeping in mind, since the site host and the health data host are two different companies. Contractually, ENPS acts as processor under Article 28 of the GDPR for the clinic's client and patient data, with the clinic as controller, and the terms provide for deletion or return of the data at the end of the contract. French law governs the agreement and the Paris Court of Appeal has jurisdiction.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting VetoCall IA.
- No social proof for the veterinary product: the six homepage testimonials come from dental surgeons and their assistants and name DentalCall IA, the sibling product. Residual buttons still offer to start with DentalCall IA, and the four social accounts belong to the umbrella brand SanteCall IA. Nothing published demonstrates a result in a veterinary clinic, so judge the tool on its mechanics, not on the praise displayed around it.
- The contract is only partly adapted to the veterinary trade: article 1 defines the Client as a dental surgeon, and the object of the contract mentions a dental practice and a human dental assistant. The same document carries typing errors on load-bearing references, including Regulation (EU) 2026/679 instead of 2016/679. A court reads the contract, not the marketing page — have it checked before signing.
- Two corporate identities and two addresses coexist: ENPS SAS at 67 rue Anatole France, 92300 Levallois-Perret in the legal notice and footer, against Éditions Numériques de Presses Spécialisées at 14 rue du Midi, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine in the terms, the latter matching the registered office in the French company register. Share capital differs too, 328,072.50 EUR against 380,502 EUR. Confirm who you are contracting with.
- Pricing is unstable on the page itself. A current grid (32.50 EUR excl. VAT licence plus a 50 EUR excl. VAT consumption plan) sits alongside an older one (STARTER at 79 EUR incl. VAT, advanced at 149 EUR incl. VAT, presented as a launch offer), the terms announce prices including all taxes while the grid shows them excluding VAT, and the setup fee is 890 EUR in one place and worth 490 EUR in another. Get the figure that applies to you in writing.
- The HDS certification belongs to AZNETWORK, the hosting provider, not to ENPS or to VetoCall IA. The publisher claims no certification of its own, neither ISO 27001 nor SOC 2, so the guarantee stops at the hosting layer and does not cover how the software itself is built or operated.
- Nothing is published about whether call recordings and transcripts feed AI model training, and no opt-out is documented. The terms do commit ENPS to processing only on documented instruction, but silence on training is not a commitment — ask the question before recorded conversations with distressed animal owners accumulate.
- Handing the phone to an agent is handing over a piece of judgement. It never alerts anyone about a medical emergency, gives no clinical advice and is not a medical device, yet it stands between a worried owner and the practice; if the team stops listening to voicemail, an urgent call can end up as one summary among fifty. Headline claims — more than 200 clients, 100,000 minutes, 95% satisfaction, number one voice agent for veterinary clinics — are unverifiable, and the technology partner behind the voice is never named.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for the clinic. Nothing is installed: ENPS configures the agent and assigns it a dedicated number, and the practice simply activates call forwarding from its main line — the site describes a simple, fast setup accessible to anyone. Onboarding includes a dedicated adviser, a trained veterinary nurse and the redirection installed for you, with activation guaranteed within 15 days. The prerequisites are administrative rather than technical: a completed membership form and bank details for the SEPA mandate before go-live, plus a secure mailbox for the summaries, with Mailiz recommended. Day-to-day operation is an on/off switch.

Should you pick VetoCall IA?
VetoCall IA is a narrow vertical product, and that is largely its strength. It does one thing — answering a veterinary clinic's phone when nobody else can — and asks the practice to install nothing: a dedicated number, call forwarding from the main line, written summaries in the inbox. The publisher, ENPS SAS, has been in customer-relationship services since 2007, and the data framework is unusually solid for a vendor this size: hosting in the EU with an HDS-certified provider, no transfer outside the Union, full Article 28 processing clauses inside the terms and a named data protection officer.
The reservations are real. The site still carries visible traces of DentalCall IA, the sibling dental product: every homepage testimonial comes from a dental surgeon, parts of the terms define the client as a dental surgeon, the customer portal sits on the dental domain and residual buttons still invite you to start with DentalCall IA. The consequence is simple — there is no published customer evidence for the veterinary product itself. Two price grids coexist on the homepage, amounts are displayed excluding VAT while the terms announce them including tax, and the advertised 32.50 EUR floor covers the licence only: a usable setup starts nearer 82.50 EUR excluding VAT a month once the consumption plan is added. There is no API, no dedicated pricing page, and the FAQ answers are not even served in the page.
Worth a look if you run an independent French veterinary clinic, want evenings and weekends covered, and can live inside a closed ecosystem with no software integration. Look elsewhere if you operate outside France, need the agent connected to your practice management software, or expect anything clinical from it: the publisher itself rules out emergencies, medical advice and any medical-device status.
