The chain runs in four declared steps. First, Data: artemYs collects 3D sensor data from industry-standard tracking devices. GDPR overview
The publisher is established in Greece and cites Regulation (EU) 2016/679 alongside Greek law 4624/2019. A Data Protection Officer is named and reachable at dpo@evo4hp.com or on +30 6936738149, and the Hellenic Data Protection Authority is identified as the competent supervisory authority. The privacy documentation sets out rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and fixes sixteen as the minimum age. Clause 9.2 of the terms provides for a separate Data Processing Agreement, which EVO will either supply as a standard template or sign in the customer's own form. Clause 9.3 describes access controls, encryption or pseudonymisation, security updates, backups and breach notification without undue delay. Note that the site never states in so many words that it is GDPR compliant: it describes its obligations rather than claiming conformity.
Who owns the data?
Under the General Terms and Conditions, the performance data entered into or generated by the system (the Customer Data) remains the property of the customer or of the individuals it describes. EVO Human Performance acts as a processor on the customer's behalf, while the customer stays the controller responsible for having a lawful basis to process athlete data. The customer nevertheless grants EVO a non-exclusive, worldwide and sub-licensable licence to use, process and store that data in order to deliver the service and meet its contractual obligations. EVO undertakes not to disclose any customer-identifiable data to other clients or to third parties without authorisation.
Reuse rights
Clause 9.4 of the terms lets EVO reuse Customer Data without asking permission again, but only in anonymised or aggregated form. The stated purposes are improving and developing the system, its analytics and its algorithms, benchmarking performance metrics across users, and demonstrating how effective the product is. Any use for research, product development or marketing must run on anonymised datasets that identify neither the individual athlete nor the customer. On the customer's side the data describes their own athletes and the contract places no restriction on reusing it internally. No mechanism for opting out of this anonymised reuse is documented anywhere on the site.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The privacy policy states plainly that personal data is stored on servers located in the European Union, which places the processing under EU jurisdiction by default. It also reserves the possibility of transferring data to countries outside the Union, where subcontractors handle orders, after-sales requests, online payment or commercial services, and where group affiliates may operate. Such transfers are said to be covered by appropriate contractual commitments, including contracts based on the model adopted by the European Commission. The terms confirm that processing may be subcontracted to sub-processors such as cloud hosting providers, with comparable data protection obligations and EVO remaining liable for their compliance. No hosting country is named beyond the European Union, and no hosting provider is identified. Questions about transfers are directed to the Data Protection Officer.

artemYs is a credible, research-backed piece of sports technology rather than a thin AI wrapper. Its publisher runs four research labs, publishes papers, holds seven nominative ISO and BS certifications valid to 2028, and raised EUR 1.2 million in late 2024. The technical proposition is genuinely distinctive: instead of a single squad-wide load number, it models each athlete individually and reports stress load and capacity muscle by muscle, then projects them several days forward. For a club whose injury bill runs into millions, that granularity is the argument.
The reservations are mostly commercial and documentary. Nothing about the software is priced in public, there is no free tier and no trial, and the only way to learn what artemYs costs is to ask. The openly published figures - EUR 12 to EUR 350 - buy sensors and garments, not the platform, and should not be mistaken for an entry price. There is no public API. Buyers should also read clause 9.4 carefully: customer data may be reused in anonymised and aggregated form to develop the algorithms, and no opt-out is offered.
A second reservation is housekeeping.
