Overview

What is GLOW21?

GLOW21 is a leadership development platform published by BC21 s.r.o. in Prague together with The Playbook House. Instead of questioning a general-purpose assistant about management, users hold a conversation with a digital twin of a real leader, defined in the terms as a virtual replica mirroring that leader's probable behaviour and built from material the leader personally prepared and approved. The name is an acronym: Growth, Leadership, Opportunities, Winning Mindset, and 21 for the twenty-first century.

Three leaders are available at launch, each with a signature angle and ten themes. Petr Čech covers Leadership under Pressure, drawing on a goalkeeping career at Chelsea and Arsenal, a Champions League title and 124 international caps. Luboš Kastner brings Punk Leadership from an entrepreneur's seat, and Jiří Panuška, co-founder and chief executive, works on Courage to Change. Together they supply thirty themes reachable at any hour, among them Resilience, Winning Mindset, Be a Captain, Communication and Feedback, Work-Life Balance, Vision is the Key and Grow the Next Leader.

The signature feature is multichat: one question sent to several leaders simultaneously, with their answers compared. Each question costs one or two credits depending on complexity and is capped at 2,000 characters. Underneath, the operator describes frontier models from Gemini, Claude and GPT orchestrating subordinate models and agents through an in-house engine called AI Platform 21 Engine, running on AWS over curated content. The pitch is set explicitly against generic AI: what a man who lived it actually did, rather than what the internet thinks about leadership. Each twin also carries a programmed boundary covering the questions its leader declined to address.

The intended audience is people who lead others or are preparing to, from top and middle management to founders, first-time leaders and HR. A company edition announced for autumn 2026 adds a separate instance per organisation, avatars of in-house leaders, role management, statistics and comprehension tests. Away from the application, GLOW21 also runs keynotes, workshops and moderated discussions, with networking in preparation. The operator claims hundreds of early-access users and an ambition of one million leaders, and displays a standing warning that answers are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies.

What it does

  • Talk to the digital twin of a chosen leader about a specific situation you are facing right now
  • Put the same question to several leaders at once through multichat and compare their answers side by side
  • Work through a leader's themes as a dialogue instead of reading static content
  • Ask for direct feedback on the way you handled a real situation
  • Track your progress on a dashboard and collect a certificate at the end of a theme path
  • Reopen an earlier conversation, since every exchange stays in the account
  • In the company edition, create avatars of your own in-house leaders and assign them mandatory themes

When to use GLOW21 / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if GLOW21 is the right fit.

When to use GLOW21

  • Newly appointed managers running their first team, who need a sounding board for everyday people decisions
  • Top and middle managers facing a decision under pressure who want a second opinion from outside their own organisation
  • Founders and entrepreneurs looking for structured leadership input without booking time with a human mentor
  • HR and learning and development teams wanting to industrialise manager onboarding and internal training, including through the announced company edition
  • Experienced leaders and coaches drawn to the sport-inflected material: Be a Captain, resilience and performance under pressure

When not to use GLOW21

  • Non-Czech-speaking users outside Czechia: the showcase site is entirely in Czech, prices are in Czech crowns and the leaders are known mainly at home
  • Teams that need to plug the service into their own stack, since there is no API, no native mobile app and no third-party integrations
  • Anyone looking for a general-purpose assistant: the scope is strictly leadership and the operator advertises no detours
  • Users who want to publish, share or resell what the tool produces, which the terms restrict to strictly personal use, and who expect to question the leader about his private life
  • People seeking human coaching or professional advice in the legal sense: the operator disclaims liability for the answers, flags the risk of hallucination and expressly excludes the relevant Czech Civil Code provisions
Get started

How to use GLOW21

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account on app.glow21.ai through the sign-up form, which takes a few minutes and requires no technical knowledge
  2. Tick the boxes accepting the terms of service and the privacy policy
  3. Enter the activation password sent to your email address, which concludes the service contract
  4. Fill in your profile with your role, your goals and a few lines about yourself; the site budgets three minutes for it and insists on how much it changes the answers
  5. Introduce yourself to the leaders: who you are, what you are working on and what you want to improve
  6. Pick a leader whose track record and style match your situation
  7. Choose a first theme and stay with one theme at a time
  8. Work through the theme as a dialogue, asking your own questions as real situations come up
  9. Use multichat to put the same question to several leaders and weigh their answers against each other
  10. Follow your progress on the dashboard, collect the feedback and certificate at the end of the themes, and buy a top-up if the month's credits run out

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • The content is tied to identifiable people who prepared and validated it, rather than to a generic corpus
  • Multichat sets several viewpoints against the same situation, which is rare in this category
  • Permanent availability, with no booking and no time slot to fit into
  • The trial is genuinely free of card and commitment: fifteen credits over seven days
  • An unusually complete and readable legal frame: dated terms, dated privacy policy, named supervisory authority and a fourteen-day withdrawal right for consumers
  • A quantified availability commitment of 99% per calendar month, with the exclusions listed
  • A modest entry price of 499 CZK a month next to human support, and a deliberately narrow scope that brings every exchange back to leadership

Cons

  • Only three leaders at launch, all Czech, and the whole theme catalogue depends directly on them
  • Showcase site and leaders are Czech, so the value outside Czechia remains to be demonstrated, with international expansion only announced for 2027
  • The Starter plan is labelled BETA, while Growth Pass, Leadership Master and the M and L top-ups are announced but unavailable
  • Credits do not roll over: unused credits expire without compensation, and top-ups require an active subscription
  • No permanently free plan once the trial is over
  • No API, no native mobile application and no third-party integrations
  • The operator disclaims all liability for the quality and content of the answers and explicitly mentions the risk of hallucination, and nothing is published about where the data is hosted or whether conversations are used to train models

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

GDPR overview

Implementation is explicit and documented. The service privacy policy, in force since 16 July 2026, is grounded in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., and is distinct from the shorter notice covering the showcase site. It lists the legal bases used, namely contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interest and consent, and details the rights available: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and freedom from automated decision-making. The operator states that it carries out no automated decision-making or profiling, and that it has appointed no data protection officer, considering itself not obliged to. Breaches are reported to data subjects and to the authority within 72 hours. The supervisory authority is named, the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection in Prague 7. Analytics cookies require prior consent, with Google Analytics 4 under Consent Mode v2 and PostHog loading only afterwards.

Who owns the data?

BC21 s.r.o. (company ID 04991303, Prague 1) is the data controller. Conversations with the digital twins are stored in the user account and can be reopened at any time. The operator states that it neither sells nor rents personal data and discloses it only in the cases set out in its policy. Recipients are given by category: software and infrastructure providers, accountants and legal advisers, authorities where the law requires it, and the project partners The Playbook House and BC21. Whatever is typed into a conversation may also be processed by the AI provider, whose model list is supplied on request. Account deletion is possible at any time but irreversible, and accounts inactive for over a year may be deleted.

Reuse rights

Outputs stay inside the user's personal sphere. The terms state that everything the service produces is intended for the user's own needs only, and may not be published or made accessible to third parties, whether free of charge or for a fee. Users may not hold the answers out as genuine statements by the leader, since a twin's replies do not necessarily match the real person's views in full. Any use beyond personal need, commercial or otherwise, exposes the user to claims from the operator, and the leader may seek compensation as well. The terms also forbid using the service to prepare or conceal an offence, or to spread disinformation, violence, racial hatred or terrorism. On the personal data side, the privacy policy grants portability: users can obtain their own data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Data tied to the contract is kept for the life of the contract and then for up to ten years after the services end, for archiving and the defence of legal claims; data concerning the leaders follows the same rule. Data processed on consent is kept until consent is withdrawn or lapses, or until the purpose disappears. Details of prospective suppliers or collaborators are kept at most three months after talks end. Accounting and tax records are erased within the statutory deadlines, at the latest ten years after the financial year concerned. Conversations stay in the account and can be reopened. Users may delete their account at any time, with no restoration possible, and the operator may delete accounts left inactive for more than a year. No anonymisation of conversations is mentioned.

Hosting summary

No hosting country is asserted anywhere on the site. The product page says only that the service is built on AWS, without naming a region. The privacy policy states that the controller tries to favour processors based in the Czech Republic and applies Czech law to its processing, while acknowledging that personal data may be transferred abroad within the European Union or to the United States; foreign processors are said to be established in the EU or to apply a policy consistent with European legislation. Few third parties are named: Google Analytics, whose analysis takes place in the EU and the United States with the IP address anonymised before transfer; PostHog, loaded only after consent, whose operator is declared bound by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. for payments. The full processor list and the list of AI models used are supplied on request rather than published. As a purely observed data point, DNS resolution on 29 August 2026 returned 18.239.18.35, an AWS edge node in Amsterdam, which describes the delivery infrastructure and not a declared hosting location.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting GLOW21.

  • The twin is not the leader: the operator warns that its statements do not necessarily match the real person's views in full
  • The risk of hallucination is acknowledged in the terms, so every output deserves a human check before it shapes a decision about a real colleague
  • The answers are not advice in the legal sense and bind nobody, the relevant Czech Civil Code provisions being expressly excluded
  • Substitution risk: an opinion available at three in the morning can quietly replace the friction of talking to a peer or a human mentor, something the operator itself says it does not replace
  • Confidentiality of the situations you describe: conversations are stored and may pass through third-party AI providers, and the operator reminds users that personal data need not be typed in
  • Nothing is published about whether conversations are used to train models, nor about the country where the data is hosted
  • Perishable credits and automatic charging every thirty days make the real cost depend on consumption that is hard to estimate up front, while deleting the account is irreversible and the operator may remove accounts left inactive for a year
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. Nothing is installed: the service runs in the browser and an account is created in a few minutes, the site stating explicitly that no technical knowledge is needed. Getting started takes four steps: account, profile, an introduction to the leaders, then a first theme. No API key and no integration to configure. The terms do set client requirements: a dual-core 1.6 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, Windows 10, macOS 26 or a current Linux, iOS 26 or Android 16 on mobile, a recent browser, and JavaScript, cookies and Local Storage enabled.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is GLOW21?
It is a leadership development platform from BC21 and The Playbook House that connects the experience of proven leaders with AI. The application is the first form it takes; events and networking are planned to follow.
Who is it for?
People who lead others or are preparing to do so: top and middle management, company founders, first-time leaders and HR professionals.
How is it different from a general-purpose AI?
The answers are drawn from content each leader prepared and approved, not from generic material collected across the web. Every twin also has a programmed boundary covering questions its leader declined to address.
Who are the leaders?
Petr Čech, Luboš Kastner and Jiří Panuška, with ten themes each, thirty in total. The roster is meant to widen, with ten Czech leaders announced for 2026.
What is multichat?
It is the signature feature: you ask one question to several leaders at the same time and compare their answers side by side.
Is the trial really free and card-free?
Yes. The trial gives fifteen credits over seven days, whichever limit comes first, with no payment card and no commitment.
How much does it cost after the trial?
The Starter Beta plan costs 499 CZK a month for 250 credits. A Top-Up S pack of fifty extra credits costs 119 CZK and requires an active subscription.
How do credits work?
A question costs one or two credits depending on its complexity and is capped at 2,000 characters. Unused credits are lost rather than carried over to the next period.
Is there a mobile app?
No. Access is through the browser. The terms require a recent browser and, on mobile, iOS 26 or Android 16.
Can I publish the answers I receive?
No. Use is strictly personal, and the terms forbid publishing the outputs or making them available to third parties, whether free of charge or for a fee.
Conclusion

Should you pick GLOW21?

GLOW21 does one thing and says so plainly: leadership, with named people behind the content. Rather than questioning a general assistant, you talk to digital twins built from material three real leaders prepared and approved, across thirty themes available at any hour. The multichat, where one question goes to several leaders and their answers land side by side, is the genuine novelty in daily use, and the deliberately narrow scope reads as a feature for anyone who wants every exchange to come back to leading people.

The product is young. The domain was registered in December 2025, the launch belongs to 2026, the paid plan carries a BETA label and several tiers, Growth Pass, Leadership Master and the M and L top-ups, are announced without a price. Against that, the legal frame is unusually complete for a product of this size: dated terms and a dated privacy policy, a quantified 99% monthly availability commitment, a fourteen-day withdrawal right for consumers and a named supervisory authority.

The structural limits deserve weighing before subscribing. Three leaders, all Czech, define the entire theme catalogue; the showcase site and the contractual documents are in Czech; credits expire unused and top-ups need an active subscription; there is no API and no native mobile application. Several points are simply undocumented: where data is hosted, whether conversations feed model training, whether a data processing agreement exists and whether a minimum age applies.

The announced trajectory is ten Czech leaders and a company edition in 2026, then international expansion in 2027. Until then, GLOW21 makes most sense for Czech-speaking managers, founders and HR teams who want a structured, always-available second opinion, and who treat its answers as a prompt for their own thinking rather than as advice.
