Swaglift app
Swaglift app is a Czech iOS training companion that films your sets and uses AI technique analysis to flag knee, back, depth and range-of-motion errors, while coach-designed plans raise your working weights automatically.
What is Swaglift app?
Swaglift app is a strength-training application for iPhone, published by the Czech company JonesTech, s.r.o. Its pitch is that a phone is all you need: coach-designed programming on one side, AI analysis of your lifting technique on the other.
The experience runs in six stages set out on the homepage. It opens with an intake covering weight, goal, available equipment and training experience, the goal being fat loss, strength or muscle gain. You then pick one of six professional coaches, or let the app recommend one against your goal. Four are named on the site: Honza Krasinsky, 2021 Czech strongman champion; Ales Lamka, Czech Physique champion and online coach; Leo Brichta, a professional MMA fighter; and Monika Rezabkova, a qualified nutritional therapist. An algorithm built from the coach's method then turns all of that into precise weights, sets, reps, timing and calories.
The fourth stage is the distinctive one. You film a set, and the app measures angles, position and stability on squats, bench press and other lifts, returning feedback on four points: knees, back, depth and range of motion. Targeted corrective drills are proposed for weak spots.
From there the plan behaves as a living document. You rate each session and the app adjusts: too light adds weight, too heavy removes it, a plateau triggers a new plan. Progressive overload is handled for you, and it keeps running on a plan you wrote yourself - you can build a week by hand or paste an existing plan as plain text, which the app parses into days, exercises and weights. Switching back to a coach's plan is possible at any time. Progress, personal records, attendance and achievements are tracked throughout, and an Apple Watch companion lets you tick off sets, move between exercises and start rest timers without touching the phone.
One caveat dominates: the application had not been released at the time of this review. Every page carries a coming-soon banner, the App Store badge is an image with no link behind it, and the site collects email addresses for launch notification. Android is announced without a date.
What it does
- Analyse the technique of a filmed set, tracking knees, back, depth and range of motion
- Build a personalised plan from an intake covering goal, equipment and experience
- Compute exact working weights, sets, reps, timing and calories
- Raise weights automatically according to real logged performance
- Detect a plateau and switch the training approach
- Adapt the plan to how a session felt - too light adds weight, too heavy takes it off
- Run the session from an Apple Watch, counting reps and timing rest periods
When to use Swaglift app / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Swaglift app is the right fit.
When to use Swaglift app
- Beginners who want to learn correct lifting form without paying for in-person coaching
- Intermediate lifters stuck on a plateau, which the app claims to detect and work around
- iPhone owners with an Apple Watch who would rather not handle a phone between sets
- People put off by personal-trainer rates, which the site itself puts at 800-1,200 CZK an hour
- Lifters who already have a written plan and want automatic weight progression applied to it
When not to use Swaglift app
- Android users, since the app is announced for iOS only with no Android release date
- Anyone looking for nutrition coaching, as the product covers training exclusively
- Rehabilitation or medical use, which the terms explicitly rule out
- Under-16s, pregnant women and nursing mothers, whom the terms bar without medical advice
- Developers, clubs and teams, as there is no API and no multi-user account
How to use Swaglift app
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Leave your email on the site to be told when the app goes live - it had not launched at review time
- Download the application on an iPhone
- Create an account with your Apple ID, the only method documented in the terms
- Confirm the registration through the link sent by email
- Complete the intake: weight, goal, available equipment, training experience
- Pick one of the six coaches, or accept the recommendation made against your goal
- Take the generated plan, build your own week, or paste an existing plan as text
- Film a set to get feedback on knees, back, depth and range of motion
- Log every session and rate it, so the next one can be adjusted
- Follow progress, personal records and statistics, then change goal or coach
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Automated technique feedback, rarely offered by mainstream lifting apps
- Plans attributed to named, verifiable competitive athletes rather than anonymous templates

- Fourteen-day free trial on top of a permanent free tier covering basic features
- Apple Watch app that keeps the phone in your bag during a session
- Clear Czech and EU legal footing: GDPR claimed, Czech law, Czech Trade Inspection as mediator
Cons
- The application was not available at the time of review - no App Store listing, only an email capture form
- iOS only; the Android version is announced without a date
- No way to opt out of model training, although your exercise videos feed those models
- A perpetual, worldwide, sub-licensable licence is granted to the publisher over everything you upload

Pricing & Plans
A permanent free tier exists: the terms limit unpaid use to basic features and information, with advanced AI analysis, personalised plans and detailed statistics reserved for paying subscribers. The cheapest published paid entry point is 250 CZK per month. An annual subscription is offered at 950 CZK per year. Both are preceded by a fourteen-day free trial, which requires payment details up front and converts automatically into a paid subscription unless it is cancelled beforehand. The terms further mention one-off purchases of specific training programmes, for which no amount is published.
- basic features and information only
- described in clause 4.1 of the terms and absent from the published price table
- video technique analysis
- training diary and plan adaptation
- feedback and recommendations
- 14-day free trial
- everything in the monthly plan
- carrying an '8 months free' badge
- 14-day free trial
- One-off purchases of specific training programmes
- mentioned in clause 4.2 of the terms with no amount published
Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Swaglift app handles your data.
GDPR overview
Compliance is claimed in plain terms: clause 6 of the terms states that personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The privacy policy backs this with concrete provisions - a stated list of legal bases (contract performance, consent, legitimate interest, payment processing, legal obligation), a dedicated section enumerating seven data-subject rights, breach notification to users within 72 hours, and a right to complain to the Czech data protection authority or to any EEA supervisory authority. Declared safeguards are pseudonymisation, encryption, access policies and retention policies. No Article 27 representative is named, which is consistent with a publisher established in the Czech Republic. No DPO is appointed and no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed anywhere.
Who owns the data?
JonesTech, s.r.o. is the controller. You keep ownership of what you upload, but the terms grant the publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, freely assignable, sub-licensable and perpetual licence over that content for any purpose connected with running and improving the service. Exercise videos are processed by the AI models, the resulting analysis is stored in your profile, and the data may feed model training as well as anonymised statistics. You remain fully liable for what you upload, and the publisher reserves the right to remove anything that breaches the terms. Should the company be merged, acquired or sold, the privacy policy allows your data to be transferred with it.
Reuse rights
Inside the app you keep access to your own analyses, records and training history. The full set of GDPR rights is open to you - access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in a structured, machine-readable format, plus withdrawal of consent - all exercised by writing to podpora@swagliftapp.cz. Nothing in the terms restricts what you do with your own footage or statistics outside the app. The prohibitions concern the service itself: you may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product. No bulk export or one-click download of your data is documented anywhere on the site.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
No hosting country, region or provider is named anywhere on the site. The privacy policy acknowledges that information, personal data included, may be transferred to computers located outside your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, with acceptance of the policy treated as consent to that transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards. What is firmly anchored is the controller: JonesTech, s.r.o., established in Prague and therefore inside the European Union, with Czech law governing and the Czech data protection authority competent for complaints. Third parties named as processing user data are Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook Analytics, unnamed attribution partners, and App Store in-app purchases. The publisher states it collects no payment card data, attributing PCI-DSS compliance to its payment processors. Declared safeguards are pseudonymisation, encryption, access policies and retention policies. For completeness, the marketing site itself resolves to a Czech IP address hosted by WEDOS - which says nothing about where application data lives.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Swaglift app.
- Video of your body in motion is processed by AI, and the privacy policy itself concedes some of it may qualify as 'biometric identifiers' under certain laws
- There is no opt-out from model training: consenting to use the app means feeding its models
- The licence over your uploads is perpetual, worldwide and sub-licensable, and outlives your account
- Training advice is generated automatically while the publisher disclaims responsibility for your health and for whether the exercises suit your body
- Records, streaks and achievements can feed a compulsive relationship with training in people already prone to it
- Handing judgement about your own body to an algorithm - the app replaces neither a coach, nor a physiotherapist, nor a doctor
- A card-backed free trial that renews automatically, with refunds limited to 48 hours after subscribing
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Essentially none. There is no server to install, no API key and no configuration: you download the app, sign in with an Apple ID, answer an intake questionnaire and start training. The only hardware requirements are an iPhone, plus an Apple Watch for the watch features. The practical constraints are more mundane - you need somewhere to prop your phone to film your sets, and payment details are required from the free trial onwards. One caveat outweighs the rest: the application had not been published at the time of review, so it cannot be installed today.

Should you pick Swaglift app?
Swaglift app arrives with an idea that genuinely sets it apart in a crowded category: pairing video technique analysis with programming attributed to named, checkable competitive athletes. The mechanics described on the site are coherent - an intake, a coach, an algorithm that sets weights and reps, video feedback on four specific points, and progressive overload that keeps running even on a plan you wrote yourself. The pricing is legible and modest on the Czech market, at 250 CZK a month or 950 CZK a year, with a fourteen-day trial and a free tier for basic features.
The reservations are substantial, and the first one governs the rest: the product had not shipped at the time of this review. There is no App Store listing, the download badge sits on the page as a picture with nothing behind it, and the only thing a visitor can actually do is join a waiting list. That makes none of the claims testable in use. It also sits awkwardly with the marketing, which already asserts that the AI has helped hundreds of athletes and prints three testimonials to prove it.
Other signals point the same way. The headline statistics carry a literal placeholder where the source should be. A link to the privacy policy inside the terms is broken. The legal documents exist only in Czech, though the site has an English version. And the privacy trade is a real one: body-motion video is processed by AI, may qualify as biometric data, feeds model training, and comes with no opt-out and a perpetual licence to the publisher.
