Mywellness Coaching
Coaching is the training-delivery module of Technogym's Mywellness CRM. It lets gym and studio staff build personalised workout programmes with AI assistance, draw on a 5,000-exercise library, track progress and coach clients remotely or on the floor.
What is Mywellness Coaching?
Mywellness Coaching is one of the six modules of Mywellness CRM, the fitness and wellness management platform published by Technogym S.p.A. of Cesena, Italy. Where the sibling modules cover scheduling, health history, marketing, analytics and engagement, Coaching is the one that handles training itself: designing programmes, assigning them, and following what clients actually do.
The module gives trainers a single dashboard combining client information, progress tracking and programme building. Programmes can be assembled three ways: written from scratch, taken from a library of plans designed by experts, or generated by AI from the client's data and previous sessions. Exercises are drawn from a shared library of more than 5,000 movements, filtered so that only equipment actually present in the facility is proposed, and the library can be shared across a team so that programming stays consistent between trainers.
Alongside supervised coaching, the module delivers the Precision Program, a self-guided training experience that adjusts automatically to the client's progress, fitness level and available equipment. Communication runs through built-in one-to-one chat, letting trainers give feedback remotely as well as on the floor, and conversation histories are retained. Progress is monitored through detailed metrics and session histories that trainers use to adjust the plan.
Coaching is not confined to a desktop screen. The Mywellness for Professionals staff app lets trainers open client profiles, assign programmes, run sessions, mark attendance and chat from a phone, while members use a white-label app that the facility customises with its own colours, logo and content without any development work. The module connects to wearables and to cardio and strength machines supporting the Bluetooth FTMS protocol, and the platform integrates with twenty-eight named membership and club management systems.
The platform as a whole reports more than 30,000 registered facilities, 40 million registered users and 500 million recorded workouts. It is aimed at gyms, fitness studios, yoga and pilates studios, indoor cycling studios, corporate wellness programmes, health and medical centres, and hotels and spas. There is no self-service sign-up and no published price: the entry point is a demo request.

- Development teams expecting a documented API, because only business-intelligence webhooks are mentioned
- Anyone wanting to sign up and evaluate the product alone, as access begins with a demo request
- Organisations that require a stated data-hosting jurisdiction before committing
How to use Mywellness Coaching
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Request a demo through the contact form, since there is no self-service sign-up
- Agree a plan with Technogym, as pricing is quoted rather than published
- Have the facility's equipment and membership system connected during onboarding
- Log in to the professional workspace in a browser
- Set up the shared exercise library and filter it to the equipment on site
- Open a client profile and review their history and goals
- Build a programme manually, from the expert library, or let the AI generate one
- Assign the programme, or hand over a Precision Program for unsupervised training
- Follow sessions and metrics as the client trains, adjusting the plan as results come in
- Keep contact through the built-in chat and the staff app while on the floor
Pros & Cons
Pros
- AI programme generation grounded in the client's own training data rather than generic templates
- Exercise library filtered to the equipment the facility actually owns
- Supervised coaching and self-guided training handled in the same module
- Remote and on-the-floor coaching combined through chat and live progress tracking
- Twenty-eight named membership systems integrated, plus wearables and FTMS equipment
- White-label member app and a staff mobile app requiring no development work
- Detailed GDPR framework with an appointed DPO and a publisher established in the EU
Cons
- No price is published anywhere: the four named plans carry no amount at all
- No documented API, only webhooks feeding business-intelligence dashboards
- No self-service sign-up or open trial; every route leads to a demo request
- No hosting country or region is disclosed
- No subprocessor list is published
- No product support email address; support runs through a contact form
- The published terms of use govern the website, not the CRM service itself
Pricing & Plans
No price is published. Mywellness CRM is sold by quotation: the Plans page names four tiers - Starter, Program, Boost and Go Hybrid - together with a Mywellness Enterprise offer for large chains, but attaches no amount, currency or billing period to any of them, and every plan button leads to the same contact form. The site invites visitors to request a trial and advertises a free demo without stating the terms of either, and no permanent free plan is described. A prospective buyer therefore has to contact Technogym before any figure becomes available.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Mywellness Coaching handles your data.
GDPR overview
Implementation is explicit and unusually detailed. The privacy policy is built on EU Regulation 2016/679 and cites legal bases article by article, including Article 6(1)(b) for contractual processing and Article 9(2)(a) for health data. A Data Protection Officer is appointed and reachable at dpo@technogym.com, with a postal route to the Cesena head office. Data subject rights are enumerated: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, the latter available at any time against marketing and legitimate-interest processing. Transfers outside the European Union are said to rely on specific safeguards, although no country, mechanism or standard clause is named. As the publisher is established in Italy, no Article 27 representative is required or designated. Under-16s may hold an account only with parental authorisation.
Who owns the data?
Technogym S.p.A., based in Cesena, Italy, is named as the data controller, but its role shifts with the relationship. For someone who simply trains at a facility using the platform, Technogym acts only as a processor on that facility's behalf, and the member's relationship is with the facility itself. For someone holding a Technogym Account, or who links facility data through the optional Join Facility feature, Technogym becomes an independent controller. Local branches and distributors act as joint controllers for sales and service matters. Deleting a Technogym Account does not withdraw data already shared with a facility; that has to be requested from the facility under its own policy.
Reuse rights
Training data feeds the personalisation engine directly rather than being handed back to the user. Technogym analyses physical characteristics, workout performance, the equipment available and the goals declared, and generates programmes automatically from stated criteria: age and gender, current fitness and training frequency, interests, and results already achieved. Health-related data such as weight, body composition and heart rate is processed on the basis of consent under Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR. Marketing profiling is kept separate, rests on explicit consent, can be withdrawn at any time and looks back over seven years of interactions, with minors' data excluded from it. Declining training profiling is not a partial opt-out: the personalised training ecosystem then becomes unavailable, because the service is described as inherently individualised.

Hosting summary
The site publishes no hosting jurisdiction. Neither a country nor a broad region is named anywhere in the privacy policy, the cookie policy or the terms of use, and there is no trust or security page. The only relevant statement is that transfers of data to third parties based outside the European Union are made in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679, by adopting specific measures to legitimise the transfer to third countries. No standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision or named mechanism is cited, and no subprocessor list is published. What can be said with confidence is limited: the publisher is established in Italy, the data controller is an EU entity, and a Data Protection Officer is appointed. Buyers with a hosting-location requirement should treat this as an open point to settle contractually, since nothing on the public site answers it.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Mywellness Coaching.
- Health data including weight, body composition and heart rate is processed, on a consent basis that carries real consequences if withdrawn
- Refusing or revoking consent disconnects the user from personalised training entirely, so there is no middle ground
- Under-16s may hold an account with parental authorisation, so facilities serving minors need a clear consent process
- Deleting a Technogym Account still leaves purchase and usage data stored for ten years, and anonymisation is irreversible
- Data already shared with a facility stays accessible to that facility after the account is deleted
- The publisher never states whether customer data is used to train AI models, which is a gap worth raising in contract
- Automated programme generation can encourage members and trainers alike to stop questioning the plan; clinical judgement still belongs to the professional
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the facility, provided Technogym does the connecting. The member app is customised with the club's colours, logo and content with no coding or development required, and its content is updated straight from Mywellness CRM. Equipment connects through the Bluetooth FTMS protocol regardless of brand, and integrations with membership systems are handled as part of onboarding. Enterprise customers are offered plug-and-play modular components for their own app. The limit is that no API or SDK is documented, so anything beyond the supported integrations depends on the publisher, and deployment always starts with a demo and a commercial discussion.

Should you pick Mywellness Coaching?
Mywellness Coaching is a credible, well-documented training module rather than a standalone product, and it should be judged as such. Its distinctive contribution is the link between AI programme generation and the physical reality of a facility: plans are built from a client's own history and constrained to the equipment actually installed, which is a more useful form of automation than a generic plan generator. The combination of supervised coaching, adaptive self-guided Precision Programs, live metrics and one-to-one chat covers the working day of a trainer fairly completely, and the staff and white-label member apps extend it beyond the front desk.
The reservations are commercial and documentary rather than functional. No price is published at any tier, so the four named plans cannot be compared before entering a sales conversation, and there is no way to sign up or evaluate the product independently. Technical documentation is thin: no API is documented, no hosting jurisdiction is disclosed, no subprocessor list is published, and the terms of use available online govern the website rather than the service itself. Buyers should expect these points to be settled in contract rather than found on the site.
On data protection the picture is more reassuring than average. The publisher is established in the European Union, a Data Protection Officer is appointed and named, retention periods are stated with figures, and the split between Technogym acting as processor for a facility and as controller for account holders is set out explicitly. Health data is handled on a consent basis. The trade-off is stated plainly by the publisher itself: refusing training profiling means giving up personalised training altogether. Facilities handling health data should read that section closely before rolling the module out to members.
