What is Power Belt?
Power Belt is a cloud platform that applies machine vision and AI to industrial process analysis. Its premise is narrow and concrete: filming a workstation should be enough to produce the Lean Six Sigma study that an analyst would otherwise assemble by hand, frame by frame, over a full day.
The platform offers three routes. Fully robotised analysis runs through Power Belt Vision, which detects each operator, classifies every action as value-adding, non-value-adding or essential, and returns a complete analysis in roughly five minutes. The semi-manual route keeps the analyst in control through Lean Player, a video player built for process work, where value analysis, SMED changeover reduction and Gantt balancing are produced directly from footage. The team route opens a live shared workspace where several analysts annotate the same material simultaneously.
Six modules make up the platform. Vision handles zero-annotation video processing. Lean Player covers annotation, SMED and balancing. The Six Sigma module ingests an Excel file and returns graphical and table summaries, box plots, histograms, Pareto charts, scatterplots, X-Y regression and I, I-MR and X-Bar-R control charts, each with built-in statistical validation. Value Stream Mapping provides interactive workflow design with data layers linking every step to an analysis. Power Assistant is an AI layer that interprets results, explains methodology and supports Green Belt certification. Team Workspace adds real-time collaboration with role-based access.
Capture is deliberately undemanding: a phone can record up to 200 takes with no setup, or a fixed ceiling camera can measure three times a day to compare shifts over time. The published case studies describe 96 hours of welding footage across 12 operators and three shifts analysed in a single day, a preventive-maintenance SMED study cutting preparation time by 66 percent, and four teams producing 343 analyses across 26 operations in a four-hour workshop.
The publisher is Power Nodes s.r.o., a Czech company registered in October 2022, whose team presents itself as Master Black Belts. The service runs on Microsoft Azure App Service with Supabase, with core data held in the European Union.

GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is explicit and documented. As a controller established in Czechia, Power Nodes states that processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and its security overview lists GDPR as supported, with controls for access, export and deletion. The privacy policy enumerates all eight data-subject rights — access, withdrawal of consent, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and complaint — sets a one-month response deadline extendable by two months, and names the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, Prague 7. Requests go to hello@power-belt.cz. Transfers outside the EEA rely on adequacy decisions, binding corporate rules or standard contractual clauses. A DPA is available and customer audits are provided for. No Article 27 representative is designated, and none is required.
Who owns the data?
Power Nodes s.r.o. operates under two distinct roles. For account, billing and communication data it acts as the data controller. For the content an organisation uploads — video, projects and analyses — it acts as a processor on behalf of the customer, who remains the controller, with a data processing agreement governing that relationship. The terms carve out one exception worth knowing: Resultant Data may be retained after deletion provided it identifies neither the customer nor its data subjects, and is used only in aggregated or statistical form. Video used purely for manual analysis can remain in the browser; server-side storage applies once an AI workflow starts.
Reuse rights
Customers keep the ability to take their data out. Power Belt publishes a dedicated Data Act document setting out three exit routes: direct export to Excel from the interface, export through the API interface, and assisted migration support on request. Bulk or high-frequency exports may be subject to rate limits, and the vendor cannot guarantee portability for data held inside integrated third-party tools. On the vendor's own side, usage data may be processed to improve and develop the product under legitimate interest, and analytics cookies only with consent. Nothing in the terms or the privacy policy grants Power Nodes the right to train AI models on customer content, and no such clause appears anywhere.

Hosting summary
Core platform services — application, database and object storage — run inside the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany or Amsterdam, Netherlands depending on the component and the deployment. The web application is hosted on Microsoft Azure App Service in an EU region, while Supabase provides authentication, PostgreSQL, private object storage and realtime services in the selected EU project region. Power Nodes operates no data centre of its own; physical safeguards come from the cloud providers. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS and at rest through the managed cloud services, with PostgreSQL row-level security and private storage policies enforcing tenant and project boundaries. One exception is documented clearly: optional AI video analysis uses the Google Gemini API and is not guaranteed to remain within the EU. The publisher advises customers with strict EU-only requirements to settle the point during contracting.

- The registered office published across the site is out of date: the Czech register recorded a move to Klecany on 19 August 2026 while the legal documents still show the Prague address
- The homepage structured data and llms.txt name a company, POWER BELT s.r.o., that does not exist in the Czech register; the real publisher is Power Nodes s.r.o.
- Optional AI video analysis is sent to an external provider and may be processed outside the EU, which matters when the footage contains identifiable employees

Setup is light. Power Belt is a web platform with nothing to install: you create an account, start the trial and upload a video. Capture needs no equipment beyond a phone, which the site presents as requiring no setup at all; a fixed ceiling camera is optional and only matters if you want repeated, comparable measurements across shifts. Two things need someone technical. Enterprise SSO must be configured through your identity provider, and it is required on the Business and Enterprise tiers. Six Sigma work assumes your data already exists as an Excel file in a usable shape.

The security documentation is unusually candid, naming its subprocessors, its retention windows and, most tellingly, stating in writing that the company holds no ISO 27001 certification while the homepage banner is more flattering. That gap between marketing and documentation is worth noticing, and it falls on the honest side.
The reservations are commercial rather than technical.
