GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete and documented. The privacy notice, last updated 13 July 2026, is drafted under articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The controller is Mebius srl, Via L'Aquila 23/m, Rome, VAT and tax code 08694131007, reachable at info@mebius.it. No DPO has been appointed, the publisher stating that article 37 conditions are not met. Legal bases are spelled out per purpose: pre-contractual measures under 6.1.b for enquiries, legitimate interest under 6.1.f for first-party attribution and site security, legal obligation under 6.1.c for tax and accounting. Retention periods are tabulated, processors are named, and transfers outside the EU rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Who owns the data?
Under article 6 of the terms, content uploaded by the customer remains the customer's exclusive property. Mebius srl acquires only the limited licence needed to run the service, namely storage, processing and backup, and does not share that content with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the service. The software itself stays the publisher's intellectual property, and the customer acquires no rights over it. When the contract ends, the customer can export everything for 90 days, after which the publisher deletes it unless a longer retention is legally required. During those 90 days the documents stay readable, and the export is a ZIP of the original PDFs plus a CSV manifest of deadlines.
Reuse rights
Customers keep full freedom over their own content: it stays their property, it can be exported at any time as a ZIP of original PDFs with a CSV deadline manifest, and no permission is required to reuse it. On the publisher's side, the terms state that customer content is never used to train general-purpose AI models, a commitment repeated on the AI page, where uploaded documents are said to serve only to populate the customer's own account. Form data goes to Mebius srl's in-house CRM on EU servers, not to third-party marketing automation platforms. The site installs no profiling cookies and no third-party analytics, naming Google Analytics as an explicit exclusion; only first-party attribution cookies survive, for 90 days. The privacy notice also rules out automated decision-making and profiling producing legal effects under article 22 GDPR, and states that data is neither disseminated nor sold.
