Streavent
German all-in-one event management platform combining an AI event planner, white-label event websites, ticketing, mobile check-in, badge printing, apps and live streaming, with published pricing and hosting in Frankfurt, Germany.
What is Streavent?
Streavent is an event management platform built by a German company that describes it as an event operating system: a single system meant to cover an event end to end instead of stitching together separate tools for registration, check-in, badges and the event app. It handles on-site, hybrid and fully digital formats, is entirely white-label, and is pitched at everything from small gatherings to conferences of 10,000 or more attendees.
The product is organised as modules that can be switched on or off per event. Six are core: an AI Event Planner, an event website builder, invitation management, registration and ticketing, check-in management, and analytics and reports. Six more are premium: a mobile event app, a digital event platform, a webinar platform, badges and name tags, certificates, and the Open API.
The AI sits mainly in the planning layer. The AI Event Planner walks through eight guided steps, helping to frame objectives, identify and segment the audience, recommend a format, suggest topics and themes, scope the event, estimate a budget range, propose timing based on audience and regional calendars, and finally produce a project timeline with milestones. A second AI layer drafts event content: session descriptions, speaker bios, landing page copy and email text. The AI advises and drafts; every suggestion stays editable.
Operationally, check-in runs through a mobile-friendly web app that staff open from a link and unlock with an event code, so no installation is needed, with QR scanning or name lookup, an option to rent preconfigured devices, and badge printing triggered on arrival using the vendor's own printers. The event app itself can ship as a progressive web app or as a native iOS and Android app published under the customer's brand.
Around fifty third-party integrations cover CRM, payments, automation, marketing, streaming, engagement, SSO and ticketing, and a REST Open API with webhooks lets external systems generate whole events or pull KPIs into BI pipelines. It is delivered as SaaS through the browser, hosted on AWS in Frankfurt. Pricing is unusually transparent for the segment, published either per event or as an annual plan. The publisher is Streavent UG (haftungsbeschränkt), entered in the commercial register of the Augsburg district court in July 2020.

When to use Streavent / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Streavent is the right fit.
When to use Streavent
- In-house event teams that want registration, check-in, badges and the event app running off a single set of data instead of exports between tools
- Event agencies and professional organisers juggling recurring events for different clients, who need modules they can switch on and off per event
- Public-sector bodies, universities, research institutions and associations bound by strict GDPR requirements and German or EU hosting clauses
- Marketing and sales teams that want registrations, attendance and booth leads to land automatically in Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365 or SAP through the Open API
- Congress and convention organisers who need on-site check-in hardware and live badge printing from the software vendor rather than a separate supplier
When not to use Streavent
- Private individuals and consumers: the terms restrict the contract to entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 310(1) of the German Civil Code
- Anyone looking to trial the product for free first, since there is neither a permanent free plan nor an announced free trial
- Small organisers with a one-off, low-budget gathering, who will still pay EUR 0.90 per attendee plus a service fee on every paid ticket
- Teams that want to buy an annual plan self-service, as Starter, Growth, Enterprise and Flagship all run through a discovery call and an individual quote
- Developers who need to evaluate the API before committing, because the public API documentation is still flagged as coming soon on the site
How to use Streavent
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account on the web app to start self-service, or book the free 30-minute discovery call if you are heading for an annual or Flagship plan
- For quoted plans, receive an individual offer straight after the call and go through a one-hour onboarding session
- Create your event and launch the AI Event Planner, answering the guided questions about goals, audience and rough ideas
- Review the concept, format, topics, budget frame and milestone plan the AI produces, and adjust anything you disagree with
- Build the event website from a template or the landing page builder, in your own branding
- Set up registration and ticketing: a simple form, or ticket categories and vouchers
- Connect Stripe or PayPal to collect payments, using your own Stripe account for the lower service fee
- Add the modules the event actually needs, such as the mobile app, digital platform, badges or certificates
- Wire in your CRM and other tools through the integration catalogue or the Open API and its webhooks, then submit the configuration for Streavent's approval
- On the day, share the check-in link, have staff enter the event code on their phones, scan QR codes, print badges and watch the live dashboard, then work the analytics and issue certificates afterwards
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuinely all-in-one: one data source runs from registration through check-in to badge printing, which removes the export-and-reimport work between separate tools
- Published prices, which is rare in this market and something the vendor makes an explicit argument of against competitors that quote only on request
- Hosting on AWS in Frankfurt plus an Article 28 data processing agreement, which fits the GDPR requirements of public bodies, universities and associations
- A named, detailed subprocessor list in the privacy policy, with the legal name and address of each provider
- Check-in hardware and badge printers supplied and rentable from the vendor itself, with no separate hardware contractor
- A REST Open API with webhooks and around fifty integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, SAP, Zoho, Zapier, Make and n8n, alongside enterprise SSO
- Modules bought à la carte and a very low pay-as-you-go entry point, so a small event does not carry the cost of features it will not use
Cons
- No permanent free plan and no announced free trial, so there is no way to evaluate the product hands-on before paying
- Business customers only: the terms explicitly exclude consumers under Section 310(1) of the German Civil Code
- Annual plans are expensive at the top, running from EUR 6,000 a year to EUR 30,000 and above for Enterprise, and none of them can be bought self-service
- A service fee is taken on paid tickets, 2% with your own Stripe account but 5.5% through Streavent, which is easy to underestimate on a paid event
- Public API documentation is still marked as coming soon, so the integration effort cannot be assessed before getting in touch
- Only the German versions of the terms and the privacy policy are legally binding; the English texts are non-binding convenience translations
- Uploaded data is deleted four weeks after the contract ends, which is a short window to notice and export
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan and no free trial; the only element offered at no cost is a 30-minute discovery call. Per-event pricing then rises to EUR 500.00 per event for the Pro plan, on the same per-attendee and service-fee terms. Annual plans are priced at EUR 6,000.00 per year for Starter and EUR 12,000.00 per year for Growth, with Enterprise starting at EUR 30,000.00 per year. The Flagship package is quoted individually. Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Streavent handles your data.
GDPR overview
Implementation is concrete and specific rather than declarative. The privacy policy, effective 5 June 2025, names its legal bases (Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (c), (f) and Art. 7) and lists data subject rights article by article: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 7(3) and 77. Streavent states its dual role, controller for its own website and customer data, processor under Art. 28 for event data, and the terms confirm a data processing agreement is concluded with each customer. BDSG and TMG are cited alongside the GDPR. Third-country transfers are covered by EU standard contractual clauses under Art. 44 et seq., with an explicit admission that protection may be weaker abroad. A consent banner pre-activates only strictly necessary cookies. No Article 27 representative is named, which is correct for a German-established controller, and no DPO is appointed; privacy contact is a dedicated address.
Who owns the data?
Ownership is split. All intellectual property in the platform stays with Streavent, which grants only a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right of use limited to the contract term; the source code is never handed over. The content and attendee data the customer uploads remain the customer's: Streavent neither monitors nor takes responsibility for it. For event data Streavent acts purely as a processor under Article 28 GDPR and processes it only on the customer's documented instructions, flagging any instruction it believes unlawful. The customer is the controller and carries the data protection obligations. Streavent is controller only for its own website and for customer account and billing data.
Reuse rights
The customer may use and reuse the data it collects through the platform without asking Streavent for permission, since that data belongs to the customer and Streavent only processes it on instruction. Practically, the constraint is time rather than licence: uploaded data stays available for download for four weeks after the contract ends and is then deleted in full, and access to the platform itself stops when the event finishes or the monthly package expires. Exporting before that deadline is the customer's responsibility. The GDPR right to data portability under Article 20 is explicitly restated. What is prohibited is passing the platform or the access credentials to third parties, whether by copying, selling, lending or renting; the customer's own employees do not count as third parties.

Hosting summary
The event platform is hosted with Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, based in Luxembourg, with the server location in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The privacy policy presents this as ensuring data is not transferred to the United States, and states as a general rule that processing happens at the German headquarters or with providers inside the European Union. Transfers to third countries are covered by EU standard contractual clauses under Article 44 et seq. GDPR, with an explicit acknowledgement that protection abroad may be weaker. Two caveats matter. First, the ISO 27001, SOC and PCI DSS certifications cited belong to AWS rather than to Streavent. Second, several named subprocessors are outside the EU, including Padlet, Jotform, Miro, Pastel Labs, SpatialChat and LogRocket, the last storing anonymised website analytics in the United States, so the actual footprint depends on which modules are enabled. The marketing site itself is served through a Cloudflare anycast CDN, which is a delivery layer and not a storage location.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Streavent.
- The organiser, not Streavent, is the data controller for attendee data. Streavent is only a processor, so the GDPR burden, and the liability that comes with it, stays with the customer
- Exercising your GDPR rights requires sending a copy of an identity document, which means handing over more sensitive data than the request itself concerns
- All uploaded data is permanently deleted four weeks after the contract ends. Miss that window and the loss is irreversible, and the terms put the responsibility for exporting squarely on the customer
- Only the German versions of the terms and the privacy policy are legally binding, so an English-speaking buyer is signing on the basis of a text that explicitly disclaims its own authority
- Several subprocessors sit outside the EU, including Padlet, Jotform, Miro, Pastel Labs, SpatialChat and LogRocket, so the genuinely European footprint depends on which modules you switch on rather than on the Frankfurt hosting headline
- The ISO 27001, SOC and PCI DSS certifications quoted in the privacy policy are Amazon Web Services' own, not Streavent's, and it would be easy to read the passage as a claim about the vendor
- Model training is never mentioned anywhere on the site even though the product ships generative features, so there is no commitment not to train, no opt-out, and no stated position at all on what happens to the content you feed the AI
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for everyday use, moderate only for integrations. The platform is explicitly no-code: websites, tickets, apps and digital platforms are configured through builders. Check-in needs no installation, as staff open a link on any smartphone and enter an event code, and step-by-step instructions are generated automatically. Onboarding runs as a 30-minute discovery call, an individual offer and a one-hour setup session. Real technical effort appears only on the API side, which uses REST endpoints and webhooks with a key granted on request and public documentation still pending. Streavent reviews and approves your configuration before the event goes live.

Should you pick Streavent?
Streavent is a broad, genuinely integrated event platform rather than an AI product with events attached. Twelve modules, roughly fifty integrations, an Open API and the vendor's own check-in and badge-printing hardware add up to something that can carry an event from first concept to post-event reporting without leaving the system, and the single shared data layer is the real argument: registrations flow into check-in, badges and the app without exports. The AI is a component, not the centre. It plans and it drafts, turning a goal and an audience into a concept, a budget frame and a milestone plan, and generating session descriptions, speaker bios and email copy.
Two things stand out for European buyers. Pricing is published in full, which is unusual in this market and which the vendor turns into an explicit competitive argument. And the data protection posture is unusually concrete for a company of this size: hosting on AWS in Frankfurt, an Article 28 processing agreement, subprocessors named individually with addresses, and articles cited rather than gestured at.
The reservations are as clear. There is no free plan and no trial, so evaluation means talking to sales. The service is contractually closed to consumers. Annual plans start at EUR 6,000 and run past EUR 30,000, and none of them can be bought without a call. Public API documentation is still pending, only the German legal texts are binding, and data disappears four weeks after the contract ends. The ISO 27001, SOC and PCI DSS certifications quoted in the privacy policy belong to AWS rather than to Streavent, and model training is never addressed on the site. For DACH event teams, agencies, universities and public bodies, it is a serious and unusually transparent candidate; for anyone wanting to try before buying, it is not.
