Overview

What is Uplift?

Uplift calls itself the execution layer for business teams: a single product that deliberately mixes software with service. Its founding argument is that the two usual ways of buying AI fail at the same point. Buying licences is buying potential, and most of the fishing rods stay in the closet; hiring outside experts is renting knowledge, and the automations start breaking when the contract ends. Uplift cites the numbers it builds on, including a Stanford AI Index 2026 finding that 88% of organisations use AI somewhere while fewer than one in ten measure any impact.

The model has four steps, and only the first belongs to the customer. You describe the routine in plain language, helped by a Brainstormer that can propose what is worth automating for your role from a bank of more than 14,000 real automations. That scoping chat takes 5 to 15 minutes, once. Uplift then designs, builds and tests the agent, runs it in production under 24/7 monitoring with every run recorded, and keeps it alive as models update and integrations break.

The technical stance is unusual and stated openly: 90% code, 10% AI. Anything that can be pinned down becomes tested, version-controlled code, and the language model is used only where the input is genuinely fuzzy. Uplift argues this is what makes runs deterministic and keeps the cost flat instead of climbing with usage.

What a customer receives is a workflow map to approve before anything is built, a live agent inside existing tools, a monitoring dashboard, a maintenance team, an exportable audit log, and a shared Slack channel with the same people who scoped and built the agent. It connects to 199 named tools and runs entirely in the browser, with no install and no extension. The scoping chat works in English, Hebrew, Spanish and French. A Monitor admin layer is available and a Discover module, which would spot routines worth automating on its own, is announced as coming soon. Access is by application, with a reply promised within 48 hours.

What it does

  • Turn a routine described in plain language into a tested agent running in production
  • Run agents on a schedule or a trigger inside the tools a team already uses, monitored 24/7
  • Absorb model drift, API changes and broken integrations without the customer touching anything
  • Act across 199 named business tools, from Salesforce and HubSpot to Greenhouse and NetSuite
  • Review and approve a step-by-step workflow map before a single line of code is written
  • Preview, edit or cancel any step before a run, then read a full exportable audit log after it
  • Track usage, adoption and hours saved per team and per workflow in an admin dashboard

When to use Uplift / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Uplift is the right fit.

When to use Uplift

  • Sales and revenue teams whose reps lose the selling day to prospect research, CRM updates and activity logging
  • Recruiters and HR operations buried in CV screening, ATS data entry and interview scheduling
  • Marketing operations and RevOps analysts who rebuild the same multi-source campaign report every week
  • IT, support and operations managers handling repeat tickets, access requests, approval chains and routine checks
  • Finance and accounting teams running invoice routing, expense reconciliation and month-end close

When not to use Uplift

  • Anyone who wants to try a tool the same minute: access runs through an application form and a stated 48-hour reply, not a sign-up button
  • Buyers who need a published price before speaking to a salesperson, since every figure is quoted
  • Teams with a genuine one-off script to run once, which the site itself says to build in-house
  • Developers looking for a public API, an SDK or a browser extension to embed in their own product
  • Organisations that must vet a supplier's registered address, named leadership and incorporation date from public sources before signing

How to use Uplift

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Request access through the form on the Uplift site, giving your name, work email, phone, company, company size, role and primary use case
  2. Wait for the reply, which Uplift promises within 48 hours
  3. Once accepted, get set up within 24 hours and sign in to the web app from any modern browser, with nothing to install
  4. Connect your organisation's tools, such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Notion
  5. Describe the routine you want automated in plain language, or let the Brainstormer suggest one for your role
  6. Answer the clarifying questions the scoping chat asks; this takes 5 to 15 minutes and happens once per agent
  7. Review the workflow map showing the trigger, the tools touched and every step and branch, then confirm or correct it
  8. Let the Uplift team design, build, test and deliver the working agent
  9. Preview the run step by step, edit or cancel any step, then let the agent run on its schedule and check the audit log afterwards
  10. Report anything that needs to change; Uplift updates the agent, redeploys it and keeps monitoring it as part of the engagement

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Maintenance is contractually the vendor's job, which is precisely the cost that usually lands on the customer's team after launch
  • A flat monthly price per package of agents, with no token meter, no per-seat licence and no limit on who in the organisation may use them
  • No technical skill required: the customer's entire task is a 5 to 15 minute scoping chat, once per agent
  • A 90% code architecture that makes runs deterministic and cheap to execute, explained publicly rather than asserted
  • Nothing is a black box: a workflow map is approved before the build and every step can be previewed, edited or cancelled before it runs
  • 199 integrations named one by one and verifiable on the site, rather than an unverifiable round number
  • An explicit commitment that customer data and prompts are never used to train models, backed by Zero Data Retention agreements with the providers

Cons

  • No public price of any kind: no amount, no range and no tier, so nothing can be compared without a sales conversation
  • No self-service entry: access requires an application and a 48-hour wait, and the documentation still calls it a beta programme
  • ISO 27001 is advertised as certified on four pages while the dedicated security page presents it as a target for the end of May 2026
  • No postal address, no named executive and no incorporation date are published, and no archive capture predates the December 2025 domain registration
  • The subprocessor register exists and is kept current, but is released only under NDA rather than published
  • No public API, no browser extension and no mobile app: everything happens in the browser
  • Several headline savings figures rest partly on internal Uplift benchmarks, and the homepage dashboard is itself labelled illustrative
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

Uplift publishes no price. There is no permanent free plan, and no free trial is either advertised or ruled out anywhere on the site, so no lowest price point and no currency can be stated. Pricing is quoted per agent built, rather than per seat, per feature or per integration, and takes the form of a single flat monthly fee for a package of agents that everyone in the organisation may use. The per-agent rate falls as the number of agents rises, and volume pricing applies at Enterprise scale. Uplift states that there is no meter of any kind: no tokens, no run counts, no per-seat licences and no overages. Prospective customers must contact the company for a quote.

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Uplift handles your data.

GDPR overview

Uplift claims full GDPR compliance in explicit terms. It cites consent and legitimate interest as lawful bases and names purpose limitation, data minimisation, storage limitation, security measures, privacy by design and by default, and transparency. Access, rectification, erasure, portability, marketing opt-out and consent withdrawal are all offered, exercised at hello@getuplift.ai. A Data Processing Agreement is signed with any customer who requests one, covering the processor role, the sub-processor list and breach notification under GDPR and CCPA, and Article 28 processor terms are available on request. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative is designated and no DPO is named, and the GDPR section describes consent to browsing-data collection when installing an extension, a product Uplift states elsewhere it does not have, which points to inherited text.

Who owns the data?

Uplift positions itself as a processor acting for the customer, and signs a Data Processing Agreement covering Article 28 with any customer who asks for one. It describes a zero-knowledge architecture in which prompts, workflow logic and connected data are encrypted with keys it states it does not hold, with customer-controlled encryption keys offered on Enterprise. The homepage says plainly that no data is resold and that prompts are not used for training, and customers can disable an agent or disconnect a tool in one click. One caveat: use of the platform itself is governed by a separate service agreement signed with the account owner, which the public site does not publish, so the definitive ownership terms are not visible before contracting.

Reuse rights

The published documents describe what Uplift does with data far more than what customers may do with the output. Collected data serves service delivery, personalisation, communication, analytics, security and legal compliance. Queries may pass through third-party model providers: the privacy policy names OpenAI, Google Gemini and Claude, while the security page narrows the list to OpenAI and Google Gemini under Zero Data Retention agreements, so data passing through them is neither stored nor used to train future model versions. Uplift states that personal data is never used to train AI models and that it does not sell personal information. Data is shared with hosting, analytics and AI subprocessors, under legal compulsion, on a business transfer, or with explicit consent. Website analytics run on Google Analytics through Tag Manager and on PostHog, hosted in the United States, and load only after consent for visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Nothing found on the public site restricts a customer from reusing the output its own agents produce, but no clause grants it explicitly either.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Uplift sets a principle rather than a period: personal information is kept for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfil the purposes set out in the privacy policy. No retention duration is published for personal data. Customers may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time through account settings, and the GDPR section repeats the storage-limitation principle. The only figures given concern cookies: the consent choice is stored on the device for up to 12 months and the approximate region check for 24 hours. On the model side, Zero Data Retention agreements with OpenAI and Google Gemini mean data passing through them is not stored at all. Backups and centralised logging are mentioned without any period, and the Data Processing Agreement covering security and breach notification is supplied on request.

Hosting summary

Uplift states that its infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform, secured with the Google Cloud Security Command Center suite, but it names no region and no country for it. Data residency is offered as a choice: European Union, United States, customer-managed cloud, on-premise, and air-gapped deployment for regulated industries. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, with customer-controlled encryption keys available on Enterprise, on top of a zero-knowledge architecture the company says leaves it unable to read customer data. Inference calls go to OpenAI and Google Gemini under Zero Data Retention agreements, so data passing through those models is not stored by them. PostHog, used for website analytics, is hosted in the United States. The privacy policy allows international transfers with appropriate safeguards that it does not detail. Two caveats: no specific hosting country is ever named for application data, and the marketing site resolves to an Amazon anycast CDN node, which says nothing about where application data lives. Jurisdiction is Israeli, the terms being governed by the law of the State of Israel with exclusive competence given to the courts of Tel Aviv.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Uplift.

  • Full delegation breeds dependency: when the vendor owns the build, the run and the fix, the customer's team slowly loses the ability to understand or rebuild its own processes
  • Agents running unattended on a schedule invite people to stop checking, and a quiet error can repeat hundreds of times before anyone notices
  • The certification gap is the sharpest risk on this site: ISO 27001 is claimed as certified on four pages against a stated target of end of May 2026 on the security page, so do not pass the label to your own auditors unverified
  • Zero-knowledge encryption and customer-held keys are strong claims the site asserts but does not evidence publicly, since the proof pack is only released under NDA
  • Connecting agents to a CRM, an inbox and an applicant-tracking system grants broad write access to systems of record, where one misunderstood instruction becomes a data-quality incident at scale
  • The vendor is very young, with a domain registered in December 2025, no archive history, no published address and no named leadership, which is a genuine continuity risk for a supplier holding your routines
  • Automating the boring parts of a job can quietly remove the incidental context in which people, especially juniors, learn their trade
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low on the customer's side. Uplift states plainly that nothing technical is required: the whole customer task is a 5 to 15 minute scoping chat in plain language, once per agent. There is no installation, no browser extension, no node editor and no new login, since access is a web app in any modern browser with no IT setup required. The customer connects its own tools, and Uplift's team handles every integration, condition and edge case. Setup follows within 24 hours of acceptance. The only real friction is upstream: access requires an application and a stated 48-hour wait.

Fundraising

No funding round is announced anywhere on the Uplift site, and a targeted off-site search returned only unrelated companies sharing the name.
The only fundraising figure on the site concerns a previous company of a team member, not Uplift: the About page credits its company-building experience with taking a previous company from formation to more than $100M raised.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get a first agent running?
Uplift says most teams have their first agent running within the same week. The scoping chat takes 5 to 15 minutes, and Uplift then builds, tests and delivers the agent. Setup follows within 24 hours of acceptance, though access itself requires an application and a stated 48-hour reply.
How much does Uplift cost?
No price is published. Pricing is quoted per agent built rather than per seat, per feature or per integration, and takes the form of one flat monthly fee for a package of agents that the whole organisation can use. The per-agent rate falls as the number of agents rises. Uplift states there is no meter of any kind: no tokens, no run counts, no per-seat licences and no overages.
Is there a free plan or a free trial?
There is no free plan, and no free trial is mentioned anywhere on the site. Every route in is the same: request access, wait for the reply, then get a quote. Nothing on the site offers a self-service way to test the product first.
Do we have to replace the tools we already use?
No. Uplift runs inside the tools a team already uses, and lists 199 named integrations covering CRM, helpdesk, communication, finance, HR, data and developer tools, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Notion and Google Workspace. There is no new login and no platform to switch to.
What does our team need to know technically?
Nothing technical, according to Uplift. The scoping chat asks plain-language questions about the routine, and the Uplift team handles every integration, every condition and every edge case. There is no installation, no browser extension and no node editor; the product runs in any modern browser.
Is customer data used to train AI models?
No. The privacy policy states that personal data is never used to train AI models, and the security page adds that inference calls run under Zero Data Retention agreements, currently with OpenAI and Google Gemini, so customer data passing through those models is neither stored by the provider nor used to train future versions.
Can Uplift be self-hosted, and what about security certifications?
On-premise and customer-managed cloud deployment are available on Enterprise, alongside EU, US and custom data residency and air-gapped deployment for regulated industries. On certifications, be careful: several pages advertise ISO 27001 as certified, while the dedicated security page presents it as a target for the end of May 2026, with a SOC 2 Type II attestation targeted for Q4 2026. Verify the current status before relying on the label.
Who is behind Uplift, and where is the company based?
The terms name Uplift AI Platform Ltd. as the legal entity and place any dispute under the law of the State of Israel before the courts of Tel Aviv. Beyond that, the company publishes very little: the About page describes five operators but deliberately gives no names and no photos, and no postal address or incorporation date appears anywhere on the site.
Conclusion

Should you pick Uplift?

Uplift makes an unusually clear promise and sticks to it: it sells software and service as one product, and the part it insists on owning is the part that normally sinks automation projects, namely everything that happens after launch. The 90% code, 10% AI architecture is a defensible engineering choice, explained publicly rather than hidden, and it supports the flat pricing the company builds its pitch on. The security and compliance material is unusually dense for a company this young, and the 199 integrations are named one by one instead of rounded into an unverifiable claim.

The reservations are real and mostly about opacity rather than substance. No price is published, access runs through an application with the documentation still calling it a beta programme, and there is no free plan or advertised trial. The company publishes no postal address, no named leadership and no incorporation date, and there is no archive history at all behind a domain registered in December 2025, so ordinary supplier due diligence cannot be done from the site.

One point deserves separate attention. Four pages advertise ISO 27001 Certified, while the dedicated security page presents certification as a target for the end of May 2026. Both cannot be true, and a buyer should settle that question before passing the label to their own auditors. The privacy policy also carries a passage about a browser extension that the product states it does not have, which suggests inherited text.

Uplift suits a team that genuinely wants to hand over the building and the upkeep of its routines and can live without a public price. It does not suit anyone who wants to try it alone today, or who needs to keep the work in their own hands.
