Maze Guru
Maze Guru is a chat-driven AI photo studio: describe an edit in plain language and its Nano Banana engine relights products, swaps backgrounds, retouches portraits and generates video, with crypto research agents sitting alongside the design tools.
What is Maze Guru?
Maze Guru is a conversational AI studio for images and video, operated by Maze Infinity Limited and presented on its own site as Maze Agent. Instead of layers, masks and sliders, you describe the change you want in a chat box and the platform applies it. Its flagship engine is branded Nano Banana, which the vendor credits with accurate English and Chinese text rendering, consistent materials and high-fidelity image synthesis, but the model roster is deliberately wide: Midjourney, niji-journey, Seedream, GPT Image, Z-Image, Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro, Seedance and Dreamina all appear in the interface.
The clearest use case is product photography. The vendor's own claim is that it turns a simple smartphone photo into a high-end commercial shot using advanced AI lighting, and the surrounding toolkit supports that: background removal, cut-outs, an object remover, upscaling and image repair. A second strong case is portraits, where outfits, hair and backgrounds can be changed while the face stays recognisable, alongside a detailed retouching panel covering skin smoothing, blemishes, dark circles and a range of skin-tone and finish presets. Work is assembled on an infinite multi-layer canvas, stored in a library, and can be started from templates or quick prompts rather than a blank box.
Around that imaging core sits a general agent. It keeps a persistent memory between sessions and can run web searches, news searches, deep research and knowledge-base retrieval to inform what it produces. Conversations are shareable by link and can be switched to private.
The surprise is the second vertical. Alongside the Design space, a Crypto space offers token and contract analysis, rug-pull and address risk checks, multi-chain balances across EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, TON, TRON and SUI, DeFi positions and yields, DEX pool search and swap quotes, ETF flows, whale monitoring, derivatives data and portfolio planning tools.
Maze Guru also belongs to a wider family: the same footer links Maze Mirror, a line of AI photo-booth hardware for weddings, exhibitions and museums, and Maze Studio, the platform that manages those installations.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Maze Guru handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is none. The word GDPR appears nowhere on the site, in the privacy policy, in the terms or in the documentation, and neither do CCPA, DPA, data processing agreement or subprocessor. No EU representative under Article 27 is designated, no data protection officer is named, and no GDPR contact address exists. The only related commitment is a single line in the terms, where both parties agree to comply with applicable data protection laws and to negotiate any additional privacy or transfer terms in good faith should they become necessary. The privacy policy acknowledges that data is transferred outside the user's jurisdiction and says such transfers happen only where adequate controls exist, without naming any mechanism. For a European buyer this is an absence of evidence, not a claim of compliance.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms you own the assets you create, but that ownership arrives already encumbered. By using the service you grant Maze Infinity Limited a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free and irrevocable licence to reproduce, publicly display, perform, sublicense, distribute and prepare derivative works from both the prompts you type and the images the service returns. That licence survives termination, so closing your account does not withdraw it. The platform also runs as an open community: by default your images are publicly viewable and remixable by other members, and the licence you grant is precisely what makes that sharing possible.
Reuse rights
Yes, within limits. You own your assets and may use and redistribute them without asking permission, and the Standard tier upwards adds an explicit commercial licence and watermark-free exports. The terms place the burden of judgement on you: you are solely responsible for deciding whether using or redistributing an output is appropriate, and the vendor accepts no liability for harm caused to you or to your downstream customers. Because the system is described as trained on public datasets, outputs may unintentionally resemble protected material, and rights holders are invited to write to contact@maze.guru. Reposting other members' public creations without their permission is prohibited by the community guidelines.

Hosting summary
Maze Guru publishes no hosting location. The privacy policy states only that information is processed at the company's operating offices and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located, and it acknowledges that data may therefore be transferred to and held on computers outside the user's own state, province or country, where data protection law may differ. The vendor undertakes not to transfer personal data to an organisation or a country without adequate controls in place, but names no country, no region, no cloud provider and no transfer mechanism, and offers no residency option. One external observation is worth recording without overstating it: the domain's A record resolves to an address geolocated in Hong Kong on Huawei Cloud. That is a network measurement taken during this review, not a vendor commitment, and it describes where the website answers rather than where user content is stored. The governing law of the terms is Singapore.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Maze Guru.
- The licence you grant over prompts and outputs is perpetual and irrevocable, and it outlives your account
- Your creations are public and remixable by default, which can expose client work or unreleased products
- Portrait tools that reshape faces, skin tone and bodies make flattering distortion the path of least resistance
- Photorealistic product rendering makes it easy to publish an image that misrepresents the item a customer will receive
- Uploading colleagues' or customers' faces sends identifiable likenesses to a vendor with no published GDPR position
- Paying by the point rewards volume over judgement, and heavy template use can quietly flatten a brand's visual identity
- Nothing in the terms guarantees the service will still be running tomorrow, so keep local copies of anything that matters
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Maze Guru runs entirely in a browser, with nothing to install and no configuration to complete before the first result. Creating an account takes an email address, a Google account or Discord, and the 200 points credited on sign-up are enough to try several edits straight away. The only real skill is phrasing a prompt well, and templates and quick prompts cover that for newcomers. Technical effort appears in one place only: API access is reserved for the Enterprise tier, so any integration begins with a sales conversation rather than a documentation page.

Should you pick Maze Guru?
Maze Guru is at its best when conversation genuinely beats tooling. For an online seller who needs a lit, staged product shot from an ordinary phone photo, for a creator cutting out a subject and dropping it onto a thumbnail background, or for anyone retouching a portrait without opening a professional editor, the chat interface removes a real barrier. The commercial package behind it is unusually generous: a permanent free tier with 200 points and twelve more each day, an entry plan at 9.99 US dollars a month that already carries five seats, a terabyte of storage, a commercial licence and access to every model, and payment by card or in cryptocurrency.
The reservations concern governance rather than capability. Nothing on the site mentions the GDPR, no data processing agreement or subprocessor list exists, no postal address or legal notice is published, and the terms take a perpetual, irrevocable and sublicensable licence over both your prompts and your finished assets that survives the end of your account. Generated work is public and remixable unless you change it. The terms disclaim quality, stability and uptime outright, and the two legal documents contradict each other on the minimum age, sixteen in one and eighteen in the other.
There is also a coherence question. A tool that does product photography and DeFi portfolio analysis in the same workspace is either admirably broad or unfocused, and public documentation roughly a year out of date suggests a product moving faster than the story told about it. Try it on the free tier, where finding out costs nothing, treat it as a fast production tool for work you are happy to see shared, and keep regulated or client-sensitive material somewhere with a published compliance posture.
