ChatMaxima
ChatMaxima is a conversational marketing platform that builds no-code AI chatbots trained on your own content, then deploys them across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, SMS, email and your website, with one shared inbox for human handoff.
What is ChatMaxima?
ChatMaxima is a conversational marketing platform published by TECHMAXIMA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, a company based in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Its pitch is blunt: one inbox, every channel, with AI agents that qualify leads, close sales and resolve tickets. Six building blocks are advertised as live: omnichannel integration, a unified inbox, AI automation, a MaxCRM layer with profiles and pipelines, conversational commerce, and outbound customer campaigns.
The starting point is the bot itself. You either assemble it in AI Studio, a visual flow builder where blocks are wired together without code, or you let the platform generate one from a website address, uploaded documents or an existing knowledge base. Indexing is claimed to take under a minute. A bot can then be backed by that knowledge base, call external APIs, reach payment providers and trigger automation tools in the middle of a conversation.
Once built, the same bot is pushed to the channels where customers already are: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, SMS, email, a website widget and HighLevel. Everything lands in a shared team inbox, and when the AI reaches its limit it hands the thread to a human agent. Alongside sits MaxIA, an assistant that builds agents with tool integrations, connects MCP servers, drafts emails, WhatsApp templates and help articles, and offers suggested replies, translation, summaries and tone adjustment.
Model choice is unusually open for this price bracket: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure AI, Groq, Amazon Bedrock, Replicate, OpenRouter, Sarvam AI, ElevenLabs and Cartesia are all listed. Developers get a REST API, webhooks and a widget SDK, plus an MCP server that lets an AI agent build bots directly. Mobile apps cover iOS and Android for the inbox, tickets, contacts and reports.
The company claims more than 10,000 businesses across 150-plus countries, over 100 million messages delivered, a 92% automation rate and an 85% CSAT score. Twenty industry pages and a marketplace of pre-built bots, including public voice demos, are there to shorten the first setup. Entry pricing is 19 USD per month after a 7-day trial that needs no card, and there is no permanent free plan.

- Anyone looking for a permanent free tier: there is only a 7-day trial
- Buyers who need a signed DPA or a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate, none of which is published

- Teams that require a documented way to exclude their data from model training
- Consumers and private individuals: this is a business tool with an 18-year-old minimum age
How to use ChatMaxima
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Start the 7-day trial from the pricing page; no credit card is requested
- Build your first bot in AI Studio with the drag-and-drop flow builder, or clone a ready-made one from the Bot Marketplace
- Alternatively, paste a website URL or upload documents and let the platform train the bot for you
- Shape the flow around what you actually need: lead capture, support triage or in-chat selling
- Connect your channels, keeping in mind that the Starter plan allows one account per channel per workspace
- Link your CRM, store and business apps, from Shopify and WooCommerce to HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier
- Invite your team into the shared inbox and set the rules for handing conversations over to a human
- Watch the real-time analytics and tighten the flows where conversations stall
- Install the iOS or Android app to keep answering while away from the desk
- For automation, add the MCP server as a custom connector over OAuth 2.1, after reading the Studio agent guide
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One subscription covers every channel, with no per-channel surcharge
- Entry price is low for the category at 19 USD per month, or 99 USD per year on annual billing
- The 7-day trial needs no credit card and can be cancelled during the trial itself
- Eleven model providers to choose from, rather than a single hard-wired engine
- Genuinely no-code, so a team without a developer can ship something usable
- Documented REST API and MCP server, which means the platform can be driven by an AI agent
- Full platform white-labelling on the Ultra plan, which suits agencies reselling the product
Cons
- No permanent free plan, only a 7-day trial
- Message quotas are tight and overages are billed at 10 USD per 10,000 messages
- Prices are shown as permanent strike-through promotions, so the reference tariff is never stable
- No DPA and no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification is published
- The privacy policy is generic: no retention period in figures, no formal subprocessor register, no documented training opt-out
- Jurisdictions contradict each other, with processing announced in the United States while the publisher is Indian and the server resolves in Mumbai
- No about page at all, so no team, no founding date and no company history
Pricing & Plans
ChatMaxima offers no permanent free plan. Every tier is paid and opens with a 7-day free trial that requires no credit card and can be cancelled during the trial period. Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how ChatMaxima handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy carries a dedicated GDPR section, linked to the EUR-Lex text, listing six rights: access, update and deletion, rectification, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent. Requests go to support@chatmaxima.com, identity may be checked first, and the right to complain to an EEA supervisory authority is stated. A CalOPPA section covers California, and Do Not Track signals are said to be honoured. What is missing matters as much: ChatMaxima never claims to be GDPR compliant anywhere on the site, designates no Article 27 EU representative and names no data protection officer. No data processing agreement is published (the /dpa/ address returns a not-found page), no formal subprocessor register exists, and no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification is mentioned. PCI-DSS appears only in relation to the payment providers.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service, you keep every right you hold in the content you post. In exchange you grant TECHMAXIMA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED a licence to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and distribute that content on and through the service, and that licence explicitly extends to making your content available to other users of the service. The company may monitor and edit user content but is not obliged to. Feedback is treated far more harshly: ownership is assigned outright, or failing that licensed exclusively, irrevocably, perpetually and free of charge. For visitor data the company declares itself the data controller, and personal data may change hands in a merger, acquisition or asset sale. Indian law governs the agreement.
Reuse rights
Because you retain your rights, you may reuse your own content freely and without asking permission. The counterpart is a warranty: by posting, you confirm that you own the material or hold the rights to it, and that publishing it breaches nobody's privacy, publicity, copyright or contractual rights. The licence you grant the vendor is broad and carries no stated expiry, so content shared through the service may be shown to other users of it. Several uses are barred outright: anything unlawful, spam and chain mail, impersonating the company or another user, exposing minors to harm, running robots or spiders against the service, and copying its material without prior written consent. Nothing in the documents addresses who owns the answers the chatbots generate, nor whether those outputs may be reused commercially, which is a real gap for a tool sold to sell.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Hosting is barely documented. The privacy policy warns that information, including personal data, may be transferred to and held on computers outside your state, province or country, and states that anyone outside the United States has their data transferred to the United States and processed there. Beyond that country name, nothing: no data centre, no cloud region, no named hosting provider, no data residency option, and no standard contractual clauses or DPA. The observable facts point elsewhere. A DNS lookup on 9 August 2026 resolved the domain to 13.200.159.125, an Amazon address geolocated in Mumbai, India, and the publisher is established in Tamil Nadu under Indian law. So the jurisdiction the policy announces and the server location actually observed do not match, which suggests a generic policy that was never reviewed. The policy also concedes that no transmission or storage method is completely secure and offers no absolute guarantee.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ChatMaxima.
- A bot on the front line can trap a customer in a loop and delay the moment a human finally steps in
- A 92% automation rate sounds reassuring until you notice the remaining 8% are precisely the delicate cases
- Conversations pass through third-party model providers with no published commitment that they will not be used for training, and no opt-out
- The licence granted over posted content is broad and includes making it available to other users of the service
- Indian governing law plus processing announced in the United States, with no DPA and no EU representative, makes recourse harder for a European user
- No retention period is given in figures, so nobody can say how long conversations are kept
- A bot indexed on internal documents will happily repeat them: a badly bounded knowledge base leaks company information to strangers
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the core product. Setup is advertised at five minutes, the flow builder is drag-and-drop, and a bot can be trained from a URL or uploaded documents in under a minute. Pre-built bots can be cloned from the marketplace, and onboarding is included on the Max and Ultra plans, sold as an add-on below. The real friction is not the software: connecting WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger depends on approvals from those platforms, which no vendor controls. Only the optional layer, the REST API, webhooks, widget SDK and OAuth 2.1 MCP server, genuinely requires a technical profile.

Should you pick ChatMaxima?
ChatMaxima sells breadth at a low price, and on that promise it largely delivers. One subscription opens every messaging channel, eleven model providers are available rather than a single hard-wired engine, and the REST API and MCP server mean the platform can be driven by software as well as by people. For a small business or an agency without a developer, 19 USD a month for a no-code builder, a shared inbox and mobile apps is a serious offer, and full white-labelling on the Ultra plan makes reselling realistic.
The weaknesses are all on the trust side rather than the feature side. There is no data processing agreement, no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate, no formal subprocessor register and no retention period expressed in figures. The privacy policy reads like a template: it announces that data is transferred to and processed in the United States, while the publisher is an Indian company and the site's server resolves in Mumbai. Nothing states whether customer conversations may be used to train models, and no opt-out is documented. For a business tool that will sit on top of customer conversations, that is a thin compliance file, and a regulated buyer in health, insurance or banking will notice.
Two smaller signals deserve the same scepticism. Prices are permanently struck through, so the reference tariff is unknowable, and the affiliate page contradicts itself between 40% and 50%. There is no about page, no founding date and no identifiable customer behind the testimonials.
Worth trialling if you need multichannel coverage cheaply and your data is not sensitive. Ask for the compliance answers in writing first if it is.
