Neuraspace STM & Ops is the space traffic management module of the Neuraspace platform, a Portuguese software-as-a-service product built to keep satellites from colliding. It sits between the operator and the flood of conjunction data messages that arrive as low Earth orbit fills up. The company frames the problem in operational terms: a team assessing a verified close approach by hand typically needs about eight hours, while a single operator working inside Neuraspace can review a flagged high-risk encounter and pick from a shortlist of suggested manoeuvres in minutes.
The platform ingests conjunction data messages from Space-Track and from operator systems, along with OEM and OPM files, GNSS measurements and space weather. Proprietary machine learning models classify and prioritise each event, then propose collision avoidance manoeuvres shaped by the spacecraft's constraints. Screening returns results in under an hour against the eight hours the company attributes to Space-Track, and the paid tier advertises Neuraspace screening as fast as five minutes. Manoeuvre suggestions can arrive up to five days before a conjunction. An unusual feature is the built-in chat that lets operators from different companies coordinate who moves — the practical problem in any two-satellite encounter.
Alongside public catalogues, Neuraspace feeds the models with its own optical telescopes, the second of which was installed in Chile in December 2024. GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed in plain terms: the privacy policy states that personal data is stored "in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679)", enumerates six lawful bases and lists the data subject rights of access, erasure, rectification, complaint to a supervisory authority, information, restriction, portability and objection, plus rights over automated decision-making. No data protection officer is named; the single contact is info@neuraspace.com. Two caveats matter. The text was last updated on 15 June 2021 and still relies on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, struck down in July 2020. It also defines its cookie rules by reference to the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and to "English and EU Cookie Law", although the publisher is Portuguese — a template mismatch, not a change of establishment.
Who owns the data?
The published documents do not settle ownership of mission data. Neuraspace's only legal page is a privacy policy whose own definitions limit it to "neuraspace.com and all its subdomains" — the marketing website, not the operational platform. No terms of service, end-user licence or data processing agreement exists: every likely path returns the site's error page. The controller is named as Neuraspace Lda., registered in Portugal under number PT516136658. Nothing published states who owns the ephemerides, conjunction messages and telemetry an operator uploads, nor what Neuraspace may do with them. The policy does reserve the right to transfer user data if all or part of the business is sold.
Reuse rights
For platform data, nothing is published: with no terms of service and no licence, the site never states whether an operator may freely reuse, redistribute or commercially exploit what the tool produces. What is documented is the delivery mechanism — tracking results are returned to the customer as Tracking Data Messages through the Files page and the API, and ephemerides can be downloaded as TLEs or OEMs, which implies practical reuse within the customer's own operations. On the website side, the privacy policy lists uses limited to running the site, personalisation, newsletters, market research and analytics, on six enumerated GDPR legal bases, and names Facebook, Google Analytics and Google Ads as recipients. Read the absence of product terms as an open question, not as permission.

Neuraspace discloses no hosting location. Neither the privacy policy, the technical documentation nor any product page names a country, a region or a cloud provider for customer data. The only geographic statement runs the other way: the policy warns that some data may be stored or transferred outside the European Economic Area, and that where such a transfer occurs the company relies on EU-approved standard contractual clauses — alongside a clause requiring third-party processors to adhere to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, a framework invalidated in 2020. Stated security measures are databases reached over SSL connections, restricted access, and SHA3-256 hashing of email identifiers in parts of the system that do not need them in clear. One technical indication points towards Europe without amounting to a disclosure: the three authentication tenants documented for the API all sit in Auth0's EU region. Treat hosting jurisdiction as an open question to raise before contracting.
