What is Moverse Capture?

Moverse Capture is a professional markerless motion capture system built by Moverse, a Greek company based in Thessaloniki. It replaces the suits, markers and dedicated stage of traditional mocap with an array of four to sixteen ordinary cameras, and turns what those cameras see into animation data. Performers walk in and start working: there is no suiting up and no marker placement.

The product is made of three parts. Moverse Capture Studio is a local Windows application that handles the optical system, calibrating any number of cameras under any placement, exposing per-camera controls, tracking up to four actors in real time with 3D avatar previews, streaming at low latency to multiple endpoints, and recording takes. The cloud side is where the AI works. Moverse describes its offline solver as patent-pending technology backed by peer-reviewed research; it removes jitter, corrects body contacts and reconstructs finger motion from the same recording, with no additional hardware. Output can be mapped to widely used rigs — Mixamo Y-Bot and Mannequin, ActorCore — and exported in standard formats.

Three deployment sizes are published: a compact 4 m by 4 m volume with four cameras for indie creators and small teams, an 8 m by 8 m studio with eight cameras, and a 10 m by 10 m stage with sixteen. GDPR overview

Moverse is established in Greece, so the GDPR applies directly. The privacy policy cites Regulation (EU) 2016/1679, reuses its definition of personal data and sets out four lawful bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent. The compliance contact is info@moverse.ai, presented as the point of contact for questions about the policy and about a representative for regulatory compliance. Beyond that, the document is minimal. It names no retention period, enumerates none of the data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection), cites no supervisory authority, documents no international transfer, publishes no subprocessor list and offers no data processing agreement.
