The seaart.ai domain was registered on 11 March 2023 and first archived on 8 May 2023. The service is organised around four creation families, namely image, video, character and chat, and audio, extended by AI-assisted novel writing and ComfyUI workflows. Its centrepiece is a community library the site claims holds more than one million models, built on Stable Diffusion, SDXL, SD 3.5, Flux and LoRA. From the same interface, users also reach leading third-party models: Seedance 1.5 Pro, 2.0 and 2.5, Kling 3.0 and o1, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Nano Banana Pro and 2, Wan 2.2 to 2.7, Seedream 5.0, GPT Image 2, Qwen Image, PixVerse V6, Vidu, MiniMax H3, Hunyuan and Grok Imagine. In-house models sit alongside them: SeaArt Ultra 3.0, SonoVision, Film and Film Edit 3.0. Around the generators, SeaArt bundles single-purpose tools such as AI Image Upscaler, AI Eraser, Background Remover, AI Filters, AI Makeup, AI Portrait, face swap for images and video, AI Lip Sync and Motion Control, plus more than a hundred free video effect templates including Bullet Time, Dolly Zoom, AI Hug, Polaroid and Train Rush. Paid access takes two forms: SVIP membership, which clause 8.1 of the terms breaks down into a legacy VIP tier and four SVIP plans (Beginner, Standard, Professional and Master), and one-off Credit purchases, most models charging around 6 Credits for a standard image. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, the yearly commitment being advertised as up to 10% off, and a 3-day trial precedes the first charge. No list price is published. The pricing page renders no amount without a session and the product catalogue endpoint refuses unauthenticated requests, so the lowest price point cannot be stated: amounts become visible only after signing in. The only figures the site rendered publicly at the time of review belonged to a Super Discount Week promotion already marked as ended; they are coupon prices, not list prices, and their annual billing line is internally inconsistent, so they say nothing about what the plans normally cost. GDPR overview
SeaArt AI claims GDPR compliance nowhere: the acronyms GDPR, CCPA, DPO and DPA and the term sub-processor are absent from all fourteen pages reviewed. The privacy policy nevertheless grants European-style rights, namely access, portability in a structured machine-readable format including transfer to a third party, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing to storage only, and objection, with a stated reply without undue delay and within one month, extendable by two further months in certain circumstances. Requests go to a single address, legal@seaart.ai. No Article 27 EU representative and no data protection officer are named, no lawful basis for processing is stated, and international transfers rest on unspecified adequate safeguards rather than standard contractual clauses. The privacy policy took effect on 7 July 2025 and the terms on 19 July 2025; Singapore law and SIAC arbitration apply.
Who owns the data?
Under clause 6.1 of the terms, the intellectual property in content you upload or post stays with you or the original rights holder, and SeaArt's own FAQ confirms that the rights in what you generate belong to you. Clause 6.2 reserves the service itself, its data, technology, software, code, interface, trademarks and logos, to the publisher. The decisive clause is 6.4: anything you set to public grants STAR CLUSTER PTE. LTD., its affiliates and every other user a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, store, distribute, publicly display and create derivative works from it, in any medium, and that licence survives termination. Private content stays accessible to you alone. Downloading another user's work transfers no rights.
Reuse rights
The privacy policy describes broad collection: nickname, linked Facebook or Google profile (name, identifier, picture), email address, billing details including card number, IP address, chat data, transaction history, support tickets, security data and survey answers, alongside cookies, web beacons, log files, scripts and eTags. Uploaded photos and videos are analysed for facial features to power video synthesis, face swap, filters and makeup; the publisher states that this facial data is not stored and not shared, remaining on the device used for the upload, and that refusing storage access only disables video synthesis. Data serves account creation and management, service improvement, security and multi-account detection, support, advertising and marketing by email, telephone and SMS, and the publisher reserves the right to analyse, profile and segment everything it collects. It is shared with other users, since profiles and activity are visible, with hosting, support, advertising and analytics partners, with group companies, public authorities and law enforcement, and with any acquirer, and it may be transferred outside the user's country. Nothing is said, in either direction, about training models on customer data. As for reuse by the end user, SeaArt states that original works you generate may be used commercially without further permission, whereas commercial use of another user's work requires that holder's consent, at your own risk.

SeaArt AI publishes no hosting country and no hosting region. The privacy policy names no data centre and no individual sub-processor: it refers only to categories of partners working for the publisher, covering hosting, support, advertising and analytics. International transfers are announced, to affiliated entities and to third parties outside the user's own country and into jurisdictions whose level of protection may differ, but the safeguards are described only as adequate, with no standard contractual clauses, certification or named mechanism. What can be established is jurisdictional rather than technical: the publisher, STAR CLUSTER PTE. LTD., is registered in Singapore, and the terms designate Singapore law with arbitration before the SIAC. Technically, the domain is served behind Cloudflare, on anycast address 104.18.28.205 in AS13335; that is an edge network and says nothing about where data is actually stored. One exception is documented: facial data derived from uploaded photos and videos is stated to remain on the device used for the upload, not to be stored by the publisher and not to be shared with third parties. Everything else about hosting location is undisclosed.

- Displayed email addresses and the mailto links behind them disagree: the privacy policy shows legal@seaart.ai but links to support@seaart.ai, and the terms link a displayed legal@seaart.ai to a third-party domain. Check where a formal notice really goes before sending one.
- The terms set a minimum age of 12 and the content policy demands G-rated images only, yet the platform surfaces sexually explicit characters and search suggestions. Parents, teachers and institutions should not treat the stated age as a safeguard.
- Anything posted publicly is licensed worldwide, perpetually and sub-licensably to the publisher, its affiliates and every other user, and that licence survives account termination. Publishing here is not a reversible act, and deletion cannot undo it.
- Clause 2 forbids using automated tools to access the service or generate assets, while the publisher itself ships and promotes an official CLI and MCP server. The contradiction is unresolved and leaves automated use formally exposed.
