Simplified
Simplified is an AI agent platform for marketing teams. Its agent Riley turns a single brief into planned, designed and written campaigns, queues them for approval, publishes them across thirteen social channels, then reports back on results.
What is Simplified?
Simplified is an AI agent platform for marketing teams, published by TLDR Technologies, Inc. Its central agent, Riley, takes a single brief and carries it through the whole chain: planning the campaign, producing the assets, queueing them for approval, publishing them, and reporting on what ran. The company positions the product as an agentic operating system for marketing rather than a single-purpose tool, arguing that most platforms stop at one step and leave the rest to the user.
Underneath the agent sits a full creative stack. The creation tools cover image generation, photo editing, graphic design, presentations, copywriting and ad creative. The video and audio tools add text-to-video generation, image-to-video, in-browser editing, short-form clipping, automatic subtitles, thumbnails, voice changing, voice cloning and text to speech. A social layer handles scheduling, a shared calendar, a unified inbox for comments and messages, analytics, link-in-bio pages and external client approvals. A management layer adds marketing project management, bulk post generation and a trainable chatbot.
Two mechanisms tie these parts together. The Brand Kit, also called Brand Memory, stores colours, fonts, tone of voice, products, customers and approved examples, so every generation inherits the same brand context. The approval gate makes review the default: work queues as drafts, auto-publishing is opt-in, and a run can be paused instantly from the app, Slack or the command line.
The platform is also open to outside agents. A hosted, OAuth-secured MCP connector lets Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Amp, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Warp, Windsurf and Zed drive it directly, alongside a command-line interface and a REST API with OAuth2 and webhooks. Publishing reaches thirteen social platforms, and twenty-nine named integrations connect tools such as HubSpot, Shopify, Stripe, Slack, Notion, Airtable, WordPress and Google Analytics.
The vendor claims fifteen million users and a G2 score of 4.6 from 5,008 reviews. Dedicated pages address healthcare, e-commerce, real estate, education, media, automotive, fintech, insurance and non-profits. One caveat deserves attention: the privacy policy states that full GDPR and CCPA compliance is still coming soon.

When to use Simplified / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Simplified is the right fit.
When to use Simplified
- Founders and lean teams running marketing without a dedicated marketing department
- Agencies juggling several client brands, each with its own calendar and approval chain
- Social media managers and community managers publishing at high volume across many channels
- Freelance marketers, designers and copywriters who need client-ready output without a team
- Developers who want to drive a marketing execution layer from Claude, Codex or Cursor over MCP
When not to use Simplified
- Organisations that need documented GDPR compliance today, since the vendor states it is still coming soon
- Teams required to keep personal data outside the United States, as no alternative hosting region is offered
- Buyers whose procurement demands a named subprocessor list, since only broad categories are published
- Anyone under 13, who is explicitly excluded by the privacy policy
- Businesses looking for a full CRM, sales or ERP suite rather than a marketing and content platform

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Covers the whole chain, from planning to creation, approval, publishing and reporting, in one workspace
- Unconditional written commitment never to train AI models on customer content

- Customers keep ownership of everything produced, even after cancelling
- Genuinely open to external agents through a hosted MCP connector, a CLI and a REST API
- Twenty-nine named integrations, each documented on its own page
- Permanent free plan plus a seven-day trial, neither requiring a credit card
Cons
- The vendor states that full GDPR and CCPA compliance has not been reached yet, with no Standard Contractual Clauses in place
- No postal address is published anywhere on the site, and there is no about or contact page
- A single email address covers legal, privacy and support enquiries alike
- Subprocessors are disclosed only by category, never by name
- Data is hosted and transferred to the United States, with no choice of region
- The pricing grid is absent from the static page; tiers are only readable in the structured data
- The site contradicts itself on the entry tier, advertising $79/month while its own structured data lists a $59.00 monthly offer
Pricing & Plans
Simplified offers a permanent free plan, advertised as free to start with no credit card required, alongside a seven-day free trial granting full access to the Starter tier. The lowest publicly advertised paid entry point is the Starter plan at 79.00 USD per month. Additional campaigns beyond a plan's allowance cost 10 USD each on any tier. Unused campaigns do not roll over and reset at each billing period. Plans can be changed at any time, with upgrades effective immediately, downgrades at the next period, and no cancellation fees.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Simplified handles your data.
GDPR overview
Simplified does not claim GDPR compliance. Its privacy policy states that full GDPR and CCPA compliance is coming soon and actively being worked on, and it specifically notes that formal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU and EEA transfers are not yet in place. No Article 27 EU representative is designated. The company nevertheless documents lawful bases for processing, namely contract performance, legal compliance, legitimate interests and consent, and offers the usual data subject rights: access, correction, deletion within 30 days, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests go to hello@simplified.com or in-app support, with a stated response time of five business days. The policy took effect on 23 April 2021 and was last updated on 5 May 2026.
Who owns the data?
Customers own what the platform produces. The vendor states plainly that copy, designs, video, captions and campaign assets belong to your account, and that you keep them even if you cancel your subscription. Assets created on behalf of an agency's clients fall under the same rule. The terms of service do reserve a licence over user Contributions so that the company can host, reformat, transmit and display them in order to operate the service, which is an operational licence rather than a transfer of ownership. Crucially, the privacy policy adds an unconditional commitment that no user content is ever used to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine learning models.
Reuse rights
End users may reuse everything the platform generates for them without asking permission: the vendor confirms that copy, designs, video, captions and campaign assets belong to the customer's account and remain theirs after cancellation, and agency users may use them for client work under the same terms. Free stock media bundled with the product is the one exception, being covered by a separate licence agreement that governs downloading and exporting designs containing it. On the vendor's side, data is used to run accounts, improve the platform, communicate, ensure security and meet legal obligations. It is explicitly never sold to data brokers or advertisers, never used to build advertising profiles, and never used to train AI models.

Hosting summary
Simplified hosts its service in the United States. The terms of service state plainly that the site is hosted there and that anyone accessing it from another region does so on their own initiative and remains responsible for local law. The privacy policy adds that personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the user's own, including the United States, where data protection rules may differ. No alternative hosting region is offered and no data residency choice is advertised. Security measures described are encryption in transit over HTTPS, access controls limiting which staff can reach customer data, and regular security reviews, with breach notification as required by law. No compliance certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is mentioned anywhere on the site. Note that the public front end is served through Cloudflare on an anycast address, so IP geolocation reflects a CDN edge node rather than the location of the application servers.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Simplified.
- Compliance gap: the vendor states GDPR and CCPA compliance is unfinished, so European personal data should not be entrusted to it without legal review
- All data is hosted in and transferred to the United States, with no option to choose a region
- Recourse is limited: no postal address, no contact page and a single shared email for legal, privacy and support matters
- Delegating a whole campaign to an agent can erode a team's own copywriting, design and strategic judgement over time
- Auto-publishing, once enabled, removes the human review that is the platform's main safeguard against off-brand or embarrassing output
- Volume becomes easy, which tempts teams to publish more rather than better, and to trust unreviewed AI claims about their products
- Campaign allowances do not roll over between billing periods, which can push users to generate work simply to avoid losing credits
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Setup is easy and requires no technical skill. You sign up without a credit card, fill in a Brand Kit, and brief the agent in ordinary language; the vendor confirms that knowing MCP, the CLI or APIs is not necessary. The optional technical route is also light: the MCP connector is hosted and OAuth-secured, so there is no API token to generate or paste, and installation is documented client by client for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and others. A CLI and a REST API with OAuth2 and webhooks cover more advanced automation.

Should you pick Simplified?
Simplified makes an unusually complete promise: instead of stopping at a draft or a scheduled post, it tries to own the entire marketing chain, from brief to plan, creation, approval, publishing and reporting. The creative stack behind the Riley agent is genuinely broad, covering images, video, copy, ads, presentations and voice, and the social layer adds scheduling, a unified inbox, analytics and client approvals. Two design choices stand out. Brand Memory keeps identity consistent across generations, and the approval gate keeps a human in the loop by default, with auto-publishing available only as an opt-in.
Two commitments are stronger than the market norm and worth weighing. The vendor promises, without conditions or toggles, never to train AI models on customer content, and it confirms that customers keep ownership of everything produced even after cancelling. Openness is also real rather than cosmetic: a hosted MCP connector, a CLI and a REST API let external agents such as Claude, Codex or Cursor drive the platform directly.
The reservations are just as concrete. Simplified states itself that full GDPR and CCPA compliance is not yet achieved and that Standard Contractual Clauses are not in place, while all data is hosted in the United States with no regional alternative. The publisher is also unusually opaque for a platform of this size: no postal address, no contact or about page, and a single email address serving legal, privacy and support alike. Subprocessors are named only by category, and the pricing page contradicts its own structured data on the entry tier.
For lean marketing teams, agencies, creators and developers building on MCP, Simplified is a serious consolidation play. For regulated buyers with European data obligations, it is worth revisiting once the compliance work it advertises is finished.
