Overview

What is Clipfly?

Clipfly is an online AI creative platform published by Chengdu Everimaging Science & Technology Co., Ltd., the Chinese company also behind Fotor, GoArt, PxBee and Facewow. It runs entirely in a browser, needs no install and gathers four blocks under one account: AI video, AI image, AI music and a conventional online video editor.

The video generator is its centre of gravity, and its distinguishing trait is that it is multi-model. From a single prompt or a still image you can route the job to Seedance 2.0 (four to fifteen seconds, native audio, camera and lighting control), Wan 2.7 (1080p, two to fifteen seconds), Kling 3.0 (1080p to 4K), Veo 3.1 (integrated audio), Pixverse V6 (more than twenty camera controls) or HappyHorse 1.0. Around it sit specialised tools: image-to-video, photo animation, logo animation, script-to-video, storyboard and script generators, lip sync, talking avatars and a long catalogue of viral effects.

The image side covers text-to-image and image-to-image with several models and styles, plus retouching: photo enhancer, unblur, background remover and changer, object replacement, cartoon, painting and sketch filters. Documented use cases include e-commerce product shots, logos, book covers, typography and interior design. The music generator turns written lyrics into a sung track, with genre, instruments, mood and duration under your control; it is multilingual and presented as royalty-free, but it only accepts lyrics, not a plain text idea or an existing audio file.

Everything then lands in the editor: timeline trimming, cropping, resizing, merging, splitting, transitions, effects, auto captions, text-to-speech, audio tools and a media library. MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV and WEBM are among the accepted formats.

The economics run on credits. Every new account receives free credits, exports carry no watermark even on the free tier, and generated content may be used commercially. Paid tiers (Pro, Pro+, Business) and one-off credit packs add volume. The site is published in twelve languages.

What it does

  • Generate a video from a text prompt or a still image, choosing among several AI models
  • Generate images from text or from another image, in dozens of styles
  • Compose a full song with vocals from lyrics, genre, instruments and mood
  • Edit video online: trim, crop, merge, add transitions, effects, text and music
  • Clean up footage by removing objects, text, watermarks or the background
  • Upscale, sharpen and convert video and photos to higher quality
  • Create talking avatars, AI headshots and virtual presenters from a photo and a script

When to use Clipfly / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Clipfly is the right fit.

When to use Clipfly

  • Social media creators who need short, on-trend video and image assets for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels or Instagram
  • Small marketing and e-commerce teams producing product videos, brand visuals and campaign images without an agency
  • Teachers, trainers and instructional designers turning lessons or scripts into watchable video
  • Complete beginners who want a drag-and-drop editor rather than professional editing software
  • Creators who want to compare several leading video models (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan 2.7, Pixverse V6) from a single account

When not to use Clipfly

  • Developers who need a public API: Clipfly documents none, and its /api/v1 endpoints are internal to the product
  • Anyone who wants to work from a phone or tablet app: there is no iOS or Android application, only the web version
  • Procurement and compliance teams that require a DPA, a published subprocessor list or SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence
  • Buyers who need a refund path: subscriptions and credits are both declared non-refundable and non-cancellable
  • Film or broadcast professionals working on long-form output: generated clips run from roughly two to fifteen seconds

  • Free credits on every new account, with ten free image generations advertised

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Clipfly handles your data.

GDPR overview

Clipfly never claims GDPR compliance in so many words. The privacy policy, last updated on 17 July 2025, contains a single dedicated passage: for residents of jurisdictions with specific data protection rules, the publisher undertakes to make its best effort to let them exercise their rights under local legislation, GDPR and CCPA cited as examples, by writing to support@clipfly.ai. A deletion right is documented, subject to four exceptions. Beyond that, the documentation is thin: no data protection officer is named, no EU representative is designated under Article 27, no data processing agreement is offered, no subprocessor list is published and no standard contractual clauses are mentioned. The contract is governed by the law of the People's Republic of China.

Who owns the data?

The terms draw a clear line. Clipfly makes no copyright claim over the content you generate, and the site states that the copyright of your creations is entirely yours; it also warns that, for the same reason, the publisher cannot license that output to you. Everything you upload, generate, share or publish remains your sole responsibility, including clearing third-party rights. The software, pages, images and documents that make up the service belong to Chengdu Everimaging Science & Technology Co., Ltd. Sample works shown inside the product stay licensed to their own rights holders and are never licensed to users, paid subscribers included.

Reuse rights

Yes, and without asking. Clipfly states that generated content can be used commercially with no additional licensing and no extra fee, for business, marketing or commercial projects; you remain liable for making sure the material you upload does not infringe anyone else's copyright or right of publicity. On the publisher's side, the privacy policy says it generally does not use your AI inputs and outputs, does not sell or hand them to advertising platforms, analytics providers or data brokers, and never uses face data to train other AI products. One exception deserves attention: for unsubscribed users spending gift credits, generated content is published to the Clipfly community by default, with an opt-out scheme and the option to delete it. Sample assets bundled with the service are excluded from all of this and cannot be reused.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Clipfly publishes no fixed retention period. Your AI inputs, AI outputs and generated avatars are kept for as long as your account exists, and you can delete them yourself at any time inside the product or ask support@clipfly.ai to do it for you. Deletion of personal data is available on request after identity verification, within the period set by applicable law, with four exceptions: accounts flagged for illegal activity, ongoing or completed licensing transactions, outstanding debts or unresolved disputes, and legal or administrative obligations to retain. Deleting the account also deletes the data and content attached to it, without cancelling any sums owed. Log data such as IP addresses and login times is recorded with no stated retention period.

Hosting summary

The privacy policy is explicit on one point and silent on the rest. AI inputs, AI outputs and face data used by the avatar features are stored on servers provided by Amazon Web Services located in the USA. No European region is offered, and users cannot choose where their data lives. DNS resolution is consistent with that statement: the domain answers on 34.212.88.224, an Amazon.com address geolocated in Boardman, Oregon. The publisher itself, Chengdu Everimaging Science & Technology Co., Ltd., is based in Chengdu, China, and both the terms of service and the privacy policy are governed by the law of the People's Republic of China, with disputes heard by a People's Court in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Apart from Amazon Web Services, no processor is named, no subprocessor list is published and no data processing agreement is offered. Users in the European Union should note the combination: a Chinese controller, American hosting and no documented transfer mechanism.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Clipfly.

  • Payments are final: subscriptions and credits are both declared non-refundable and non-cancellable, so test on free credits first
  • Automatic renewal with a seven-day notice window; a late cancellation means another full period is charged
  • Free-credit users have their generated content published to the Clipfly community by default and must actively opt out to keep it private
  • Subscription credits expire after two months, which penalises irregular use
  • Legal exposure is doubled: the publisher is Chinese, with Chengdu jurisdiction and a class-action waiver, while the data is hosted in the United States
  • Face data, uploaded photos and personal footage are sensitive material; the policy restricts their use, but no DPA, subprocessor list or certification backs the promise
  • Generating convincing video and voice from a single photo makes impersonation easy, and the terms put the entire responsibility for the result on the user
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. Clipfly runs in a browser with nothing to install, no API key to obtain and no connector to configure. You create an account with an email address and a password, or sign in with Google or Facebook, and you can start immediately. The site recommends the latest version of Chrome for the best experience. The only real learning curve is writing good prompts and getting used to an editing timeline, and the site publishes prompting tips for both.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Clipfly free to use?
Yes, up to a point. Every account created receives free credits, and the image generator advertises ten free generations; further credits can be earned through daily tasks. Once the credits run out, you need a subscription or a credit pack.
Do exports carry a watermark?
No. Clipfly states that downloads are watermark-free, including on the free tier, for video, image and music output.
Can I use what I create commercially?
Yes. The site allows commercial use of generated content with no additional licensing, and the terms state that the publisher makes no copyright claim over your output. You remain responsible for the rights attached to anything you upload.
Which AI video models can I choose from?
The AI video generator page lists Seedance 2.0, Wan 2.7, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Pixverse V6 and HappyHorse 1.0, with Flux also cited among the available models.
Is there a mobile app or an API?
No. Clipfly is a web service only. No iOS or Android application is published, and no public API documentation or developer offer exists.
Where is my data stored?
The privacy policy states that AI inputs, outputs and face data are stored on servers provided by Amazon Web Services located in the USA. The publisher itself is based in Chengdu, China.
Can I get a refund?
No. The terms of service state that subscription fees are not refundable and not cancellable, and that purchased credits are not refundable either.
How long do credits last?
Credits included in a subscription are valid for two months from the subscription date, credits bought as a one-off pack are valid for one year, and credits earned through campaigns follow the rules of the campaign, usually thirty days.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Billing renews automatically at the end of each period. To avoid the next charge, the cancellation request must be made at least seven days before the current period expires; cancellation takes effect at the end of that period.
How do I contact support?
By email at support@clipfly.ai, which the site also gives as the address for partnership enquiries and for exercising data protection rights. A Help Center is available, and the company can be reached on X, Facebook and Instagram.
Conclusion

Should you pick Clipfly?

Clipfly makes a coherent bet: put generation and editing in the same browser tab, and let one account reach several of the video models that would otherwise require separate subscriptions. For a social media creator, a small marketing team or a teacher, that combination is genuinely useful, and the absence of a watermark on free exports plus the explicit permission to use output commercially remove two of the frictions that usually make free AI tools unusable in practice. The catalogue is broad, the entry price is low, and nothing has to be installed.

The reservations are contractual rather than technical. Subscriptions and credits are both declared non-refundable and non-cancellable, renewal is automatic and cancellation must be requested a week in advance, and subscription credits expire after two months. Users on free gift credits should note that their generated content is published to the Clipfly community by default unless they opt out. The transparency layer that a professional buyer looks for is largely missing: no postal address, no data processing agreement, no subprocessor list, no named data protection officer and no EU representative, while the contract is governed by Chinese law with jurisdiction in Chengdu and the data itself sits on AWS servers in the United States.

The sensible reading is therefore split. As a consumer or small-team creative tool, Clipfly is fast, cheap and capable, and worth trying on the free credits before paying anything. As an enterprise purchase involving customer data or contractual guarantees, it does not currently publish what a procurement review would require.
