Overview

What is Gulab?

Gulab is a node-based AI creative studio that runs entirely in the browser. Instead of a chat box, it offers an infinite canvas on which every AI model is a node: you drop in an image generator, a video generator, a text model or a voice engine, then wire the output of one into the input of the next. What you end up with is a visible pipeline rather than a string of disconnected prompts, which is the point behind the product's claim that every model belongs on a single canvas.

The catalogue is deliberately broad and spans several modalities. Image generation, image editing, image-to-video, text-to-video, text-to-speech, music, lip sync, live world models, 3D and upscaling utilities all appear in the documentation, drawing on providers the homepage names openly: OpenAI, Google, Gemini, Claude, Grok, ByteDance, Meta, Qwen, ElevenLabs, Ideogram, Recraft, Krea, PixVerse, Lightricks, Topaz, NVIDIA and Hugging Face. Named models include Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Imagen 4, FLUX, Kling, Seedream and Nano Banana. One account and one credit balance cover all of them, and the pricing page publishes the credit cost of each model individually.

Three ideas shape everyday use. Voice-guided workflows let you describe an idea aloud and have Gulab assemble the graph for you, so the node editor becomes optional rather than compulsory. Consistent elements let you save any image, video or clip once and reuse it across projects, which is how characters, styles and assets stay stable from scene to scene. A built-in timeline editor handles trimming, concatenation, crossfades and audio mixing, so a sequence can be finished without leaving the canvas.

Beyond the browser, Gulab publishes a documented REST API with its own key format and endpoints for generation, polling, chat, vision, transcription, image search, scene breakdown, projects and canvas state. An open-source Adobe panel, still in beta, brings the same generation into Premiere Pro and After Effects. The service positions itself against general-purpose chatbots and addresses directors, designers and storytellers who think in scenes. Access begins with an application to its Bloom programme, which releases the initial free credits.

What it does

  • Generate images with frontier models such as Imagen 4, FLUX, Seedream, Recraft and Ideogram
  • Generate video from text or from a still, using Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling, Seedance or Hailuo
  • Chain models together as connected nodes on an infinite canvas
  • Build a whole workflow by voice instead of wiring nodes by hand
  • Produce speech, music, lip sync and dubbing from the same canvas
  • Edit, upscale and finish clips in a built-in timeline with trim, concat and audio mixing
  • Drive the same generation from a REST API or from an Adobe Premiere Pro panel

When to use Gulab / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Gulab is the right fit.

When to use Gulab

  • Filmmakers and video directors who storyboard, generate and cut sequences in one place
  • Motion designers, animators and VFX artists assembling shots from several generative models
  • Brand strategists and creative directors producing campaign visuals without a full production crew
  • Independent designers and solo creators who want many frontier models under one affordable subscription
  • Developers and technical creatives who need a documented REST API or an Adobe Premiere Pro panel

When not to use Gulab

  • Anyone looking for a permanently free tool, since every generation is paid for out of purchased credits
  • Teams under GDPR or procurement rules that require a signed DPA, a SOC 2 report or EU data residency
  • Users who need a mobile app, as no iOS or Android version exists
  • Buyers who want an identifiable legal entity and postal address before committing budget
  • Occasional users, because subscription credits expire after sixty days and purchases are non-refundable
Get started

How to use Gulab

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Sign in with an email one-time code or magic link, or through Google; there is no password to set
  2. Apply to the Bloom programme with a portfolio link to receive your starting credits
  3. Open the canvas and drop your first nodes: image, video, text, audio or an upload
  4. Pick a model on each node from the image, video, speech, music, lip sync, 3D or LLM catalogue
  5. Wire the output of one node into the input of the next to chain the models
  6. Or skip the wiring entirely and describe the idea by voice, letting Gulab build the flow
  7. Save any result you want to keep as a reusable element so characters and styles carry across projects
  8. Assemble the sequence in the timeline editor with trim, concat, crossfade and audio mixing
  9. Export at full resolution, which every plan includes
  10. Optionally create an API key or install the Premiere Pro and After Effects panel to work outside the browser

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Gulab handles your data.

GDPR overview

The privacy policy names the GDPR explicitly and states that it applies to users worldwide, including people protected by it. Implementation is concrete on several points: the full set of data subject rights is listed (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent) with a thirty-day response commitment, transfers out of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and EEA residents are pointed to their local supervisory authority. Subprocessors are named. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, and no Data Processing Agreement is published or offered. Nowhere does the site claim compliance in so many words, and no data protection officer is named. All requests go to a single mailbox.

Who owns the data?

You keep ownership of the content you upload. Gulab grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute and publicly display anything you generate, commercial use included, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers. The platform itself, its technology, interface and trademarks stay the property of the company, and any feedback you send may be reused freely without attribution or payment. Generated files sit on Cloudflare R2 storage tied to your account and you can delete them whenever you like. For prompts passed to third-party model providers, Gulab describes itself as a processor rather than a controller.

Reuse rights

You may reuse your generated output without asking permission, including commercially, provided the terms of the third-party model that produced it allow it. Two limits matter. Output is not exclusive: another user running a similar prompt may obtain a substantially identical result, and the company makes no promise of uniqueness. The acceptable use policy also bans deepfakes of real people without verifiable consent, unlawful or infringing material, sexualised depictions of minors, and reselling or sub-licensing access to the models without written consent. Automated crawling outside the published API is prohibited.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Account information is kept for as long as the account is active. After deletion, personal data is erased or anonymised within thirty days unless the law requires otherwise, and generated content is deleted within the same thirty days after termination, although individual outputs can be removed at any time. Server logs and access records are held for ninety days and then purged automatically. Credit transaction records are kept for at least seven years for financial compliance and audit. Prompts are retained in anonymised form for abuse prevention and service improvement, stripped of identifying information. The browser session token expires after thirty days.

Hosting summary

Hosting rests on Cloudflare, named in the privacy policy as the provider for hosting, CDN, DNS and storage through Pages, D1 and R2; generated images, video and audio are stored on R2 and tied to the account. DNS resolution confirms a Cloudflare anycast address. The policy states that data may be transferred to, stored in and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, the United States included, and that transfers out of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Other named providers are fal.ai for model inference, SendGrid via Twilio for transactional email and Stripe for payments. Security measures listed are TLS 1.3 in transit, encryption at rest, access controls and regular assessments, with authentication handled by a stateless HMAC one-time-code system that stores no passwords. No EU data residency option is offered, no specific data centre location is published, and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification is claimed.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Gulab.

  • Generated output is never exclusive: someone else can obtain a substantially identical result from a similar prompt
  • The terms concede that output may contain inaccuracies, bias and artefacts, leaving verification entirely to you
  • Deepfakes of real people are banned by policy but remain technically possible, with the legal risk falling on the user
  • Credits expire after sixty days, are non-refundable and are lost if the account is suspended, so money can vanish without output
  • Prompts and uploads travel to third-party model providers whose data policies differ from Gulab's own
  • Disputes go to binding arbitration in Delaware with jury trial and class action waived, and liability capped at 100 US dollars
  • Leaning on voice-driven generation can quietly erode the framing and art-direction judgement that makes the work yours
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low for ordinary use. Gulab is a web application with nothing to install: you sign in with an email code, a magic link or Google, and start on the canvas. The real friction is administrative rather than technical, since starting credits come through a Bloom application reviewed in two to three days. The node canvas takes some learning, though the voice mode sidesteps it. Only the optional extras are demanding: the Adobe panel ships as a zip with an install script and is unsigned, and API use means creating a key.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Gulab?
A node-based AI creative canvas. Image, video, text and audio models each appear as a node on an infinite board, and you connect them so the output of one feeds the next.
Is there a free plan?
No permanent free plan. Free credits are granted at sign-up through the Bloom programme, but the amount is not published on the site.
How much does it cost to start?
The cheapest subscription is Solo Producer at 10 USD per month. One-off credit top-ups start at 5 USD with no commitment.
Can I use what I generate commercially?
Yes. The terms grant a non-exclusive worldwide licence covering commercial use, subject to the conditions of the underlying model providers.
Is my content used to train AI models?
The privacy policy states that prompts, uploads and generated content are not used to train Gulab's own models. Third-party model providers apply their own policies.
Which models are available?
Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Imagen 4, FLUX, Kling, Seedream, Nano Banana, Recraft, Ideogram, ElevenLabs, Topaz, Meshy and Trellis, among many others across image, video, audio and 3D.
Is there an API?
Yes. A REST API is documented on the site, with its own key format and endpoints for generation, chat, vision, transcription, projects and canvas state.
Does it work with Adobe software?
An open-source panel for Premiere Pro and After Effects is available in beta. It is not signed with an Adobe certificate and is installed manually.
Do my credits expire?
Subscription credits roll over for at most sixty days and then expire. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.
How long is my data kept?
Account data and generated content are deleted within thirty days of account deletion, server logs after ninety days, and credit transaction records are retained for at least seven years.
Conclusion

Should you pick Gulab?

Gulab makes a clear and unusually coherent bet: rather than another chat window bolted onto an image model, it gives creative professionals a visual pipeline where dozens of frontier models from OpenAI, Google, ByteDance, ElevenLabs and others sit side by side under one subscription and one credit balance. For a filmmaker or motion designer who would otherwise juggle four or five separate accounts, that consolidation is the real product, and the per-model credit costs published on the pricing page make the spending unusually transparent. The commercial licence on generated output is explicit, the vendor states it does not train on customer content, and it names its subprocessors individually rather than hiding behind a generic clause.

The reservations are mostly about maturity and accountability rather than the software. The domain was registered in November 2025 and the site first archived in July 2026, so this is a very young service. No postal address, legal form or named owner appears anywhere, legal and privacy correspondence is routed through a third-party domain, and there is no DPA, no Article 27 representative and no security certification, which will stop most regulated or enterprise buyers before they start. The credit economics also deserve attention: subscription credits expire after sixty days, purchases are non-refundable, and any remaining balance is forfeited if an account is closed or suspended.

Treat it, for now, as a tool for individuals and small creative teams who want breadth of models at a low entry price and can absorb the commercial risk of a young vendor. The absence of a permanent free plan and the application-gated starting credits make casual evaluation harder than it should be, so budget a small top-up to test it properly before committing.
