Overview

What is QualifLeads?

QualifLeads is a French SaaS platform that automates the first, thankless step of inbound sales: working out which of your leads is actually worth a salesperson's time. It does so over SMS, which is the whole point of the product, since a text reaches people who never pick up the phone.

The pipeline is deliberately short. A lead arrives from a web form, a CSV import, a CRM or a POST to the API. Within thirty seconds the platform sends a personalised text message. An AI then holds a natural conversation, asking the questions defined in your scenario, reading the buying signals and offering a slot when the prospect sounds ready. When a meeting is agreed, it is created and synchronised with the rep's Google or Outlook calendar, the lead is scored, and routing rules hand it to the right person by district, postcode, product line or programme, with the full conversation attached.

Four verticals get their own scripts and vocabulary rather than a generic pitch: real estate, with separate buyer and seller qualification and routing by area; insurance, sorting motor, home, health, protection, borrower and business enquiries to a specialised adviser; vocational training, where the AI screens funding eligibility before a course adviser is involved; and credit broking, checking borrower feasibility ahead of the appointment. The homepage claims more than 6,000 leads qualified to date, a figure the publisher gives without method or date.

Commercially the model is a subscription plus consumption. A permanent free tier covers one active scenario, calendar sync, webhooks and the REST API; the paid tier unlocks five scenarios, unlimited team management and advanced routing. On top of any plan you buy credits, and those credits are what actually pay for the text messages, the AI processing and the meeting detection. A white-label offer lets agencies resell the platform under their own brand, domain and phone number. A public API documentation page exposes lead and scenario endpoints, and setup is advertised at under ten minutes with no technical skills required.

What it does

  • Text every inbound lead in under 30 seconds, whatever the time or day
  • Run an AI SMS conversation that qualifies budget, project, urgency or funding eligibility
  • Detect a meeting slot inside the conversation and create it automatically
  • Sync the booked appointment with the rep's Google or Outlook calendar
  • Route each qualified lead to the right salesperson through configurable rules
  • Push qualification data to your CRM via signed webhooks or the REST API
  • Track cost per lead, per appointment and per signed contract by acquisition channel

When to use QualifLeads / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if QualifLeads is the right fit.

When to use QualifLeads

  • Sales teams that buy inbound leads from portals, comparison sites or paid ads and lose them to whoever calls back first
  • Estate agencies and new-build sales teams that need buyer and seller leads qualified and routed by postcode or district
  • Insurance brokers and agents sorting quote requests by product line before a specialised adviser picks up the phone
  • Vocational training providers that must check funding eligibility before a course adviser spends twenty minutes on the call
  • Mortgage and credit brokers who want borrower feasibility checked before the appointment is booked

When not to use QualifLeads

  • Consumers and sole traders: the service is sold strictly to professionals, and the customer must be a legal entity
  • Anyone planning cold outreach, since the customer must already hold prior opt-in consent for every lead contacted
  • Teams working outside French, as the interface, the qualification scripts and the SMS conversations are French only
  • Buyers who need voice calls or email qualification sequences, because SMS is the only qualification channel
  • Organisations looking for a lead generation source, as the tool qualifies leads you already have rather than finding new ones

How to use QualifLeads

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account from the free registration page; the Starter plan comes with 20 credits to get going
  2. Write a qualification scenario for your trade: tone, questions, vocabulary and follow-up messages
  3. Connect your lead source, whether a web form, a CSV import, a webhook or a POST to the leads endpoint
  4. Link the Google or Outlook calendar the AI should book appointments into
  5. Set the routing rules that assign each qualified lead, by area, request type, product or programme
  6. Connect your CRM through signed webhooks or the REST API so qualification data lands where your team works
  7. Buy credits, and optionally switch on auto-reload with a threshold and a top-up amount
  8. Send in a first lead and watch the SMS conversation, the score and the detected appointment
  9. Review cost per lead, per appointment and per contract in the dashboard to see which channels pay
  10. Move up to the paid plan when you need more scenarios, advanced routing or unlimited team management

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • A first contact in under 30 seconds, over a channel that gets answers where phone calls do not
  • Rare pricing transparency: unit credit price, cost per action, cost per lead scenario and a budget simulator are all public
  • A genuinely useful free tier that includes calendar sync, webhooks and the REST API rather than crippling them
  • Public REST API documentation, readable without an account, with lead and scenario endpoints
  • A complete, dated legal set including a public Article 28 DPA and subprocessors named with purpose and location
  • French data hosting, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and a reachable DPO
  • Real verticalisation: four trades get their own scripts and vocabulary, not a generic sales pitch

Cons

  • The subscription alone runs nothing: credits are mandatory and bought separately, so the real budget is the plan plus consumption
  • French only, with no other language version of the site, the scripts or the SMS conversations
  • All prices are quoted excluding VAT, and no inclusive figure is published anywhere
  • Compliance risk sits with the customer: opt-in, lawful outreach and lead freshness are your obligations, backed by an indemnity clause in the publisher's favour
  • AI model training is never addressed, neither claimed nor excluded, and no opt-out mechanism is documented
  • The AI processing itself is subcontracted to US providers, which sits awkwardly beside the advertised French hosting
  • Thin public presence: no product page, no about page, no team, no interactive demo, and a company with only €2,000 of share capital
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

A permanent free plan is available. The Starter tier costs €0 per month and already includes one active qualification scenario, calendar synchronisation, the REST API and webhooks, plus 20 complimentary credits. The cheapest paid entry point is the Professionnel plan at €59 excluding VAT per month, billed monthly with no commitment and preceded by a 14-day free trial. A white-label offer is listed at €3,000 excluding VAT per year, paid annually in advance on a firm twelve-month commitment. Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how QualifLeads handles your data.

GDPR overview

Implementation is unusually concrete for a company this small. The publisher is French, cites the GDPR, the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidance, and publishes four dated legal documents: legal notice, terms of sale, privacy policy and a public Article 28 DPA that binds automatically when you accept the terms. Subprocessors are named one by one with purpose and location, non-EU transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, a DPO is reachable by email, data subject requests are answered within 30 days and customers hold an audit right. Read the split of duties carefully, though: prior opt-in consent, the lawfulness of the outreach and lead freshness are the customer's obligations, backed by an indemnity clause in the publisher's favour, not guarantees offered by the tool.

Who owns the data?

Ownership is split in two. For the lead data you import, you remain the data controller and QualifLeads acts only as your processor under Article 28 GDPR, working on your documented instructions and committing not to use the data for its own purposes. Account data for your own users is controlled by the publisher itself. The platform, its source code, algorithms and databases stay the exclusive property of the publisher, and you receive only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them. Under the white-label offer the reseller may act as controller or intermediate processor, while the publisher stays a purely technical processor throughout.

Reuse rights

As the controller of your lead data you may use it freely for your own business, export it to your CRM through signed webhooks or the REST API, and ask for it to be deleted or returned at the end of the contract, with no permission needed from the publisher. What you may not reuse is the service itself: the code, algorithms, interface and databases stay the publisher's property and your licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable. On the publisher's side the declared purposes are narrow and listed in the DPA: sending qualification texts, running AI analysis of the replies, managing campaigns, hosting and technical logging. The privacy policy adds that no data is sold or rented. Note that AI model training is never addressed anywhere on the site, neither claimed nor ruled out, while "service improvement" appears as a legitimate-interest purpose without any stated scope.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Retention periods are published by category. Account data is kept for the duration of the contract plus any legal retention period; billing records are kept for ten years; lead data is kept for as long as the service requires it; analytics cookies expire after a maximum of thirteen months; and technical logs are kept for a period described as proportionate to security needs. A separate rule applies to the leads themselves: customers undertake to supply only leads collected less than three years ago, and leads older than that must not be used through the service. When the contract ends, data is deleted or returned according to the customer's instructions and any legal obligations. Purchased credits expire only on final termination, and requests to exercise data subject rights are answered within thirty days at most.

Hosting summary

The publisher states in three separate documents, the legal notice, the terms and the DPA, that service data is hosted in France in a secure environment meeting European standards. The website itself runs on Hostinger, and the domain resolves to an address geolocated in Paris. Encryption is described in some detail: AES-256-GCM at rest, bcrypt or argon2 password hashing, HTTPS/TLS in transit, multi-tenant isolation, logging, access control and incident monitoring. The published subprocessor table is more nuanced than the headline. Hosting of the site, database and email sits with Hostinger in the EU; backups are handled by OVH in France and text messages by SMSMode in France. Payments go through Stripe across the EU and the US, monitoring through Sentry across the EU and the US, and the AI processing itself is handled by OpenAI and Anthropic in the United States under a data processing agreement. Non-EU transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. In short, storage is French, but the conversation content passes through American AI providers, a distinction worth raising with the publisher directly. Note also that the guarantees of those providers belong to them, not to QualifLeads.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting QualifLeads.

  • Budget surprise: the subscription buys access, not usage. Credits are mandatory on every plan and the publisher's own example has them outweighing the subscription three to one, with every price quoted excluding VAT
  • Regulatory exposure stays with you: opt-in consent, lawful prospecting and the three-year lead freshness rule are contractual obligations of the customer, reinforced by an indemnity clause protecting the publisher
  • Silence on model training: nothing on the site claims or rules out that customer conversations train AI models, and no exclusion mechanism is documented, so nothing stops the practice contractually beyond a general processor clause
  • Hosting promise versus reality: data is advertised as hosted in France, yet the published subprocessor table places the AI processing with US providers and two further services across the EU and the US
  • Automation of a human judgement: letting an AI decide which prospects deserve a call bakes your scenario's blind spots into every lead, and a badly written script will filter out good buyers silently
  • Prospects are not told they are talking to a machine: the site advertises conversations designed to feel natural and credible, which raises a transparency question your own compliance team should settle
  • Sunk-cost traps in the small print: credits are non-refundable even on termination, and the white-label offer locks twelve firm months paid in advance with no credits included
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low to start, moderate to integrate. The publisher advertises being operational in under ten minutes with no technical skills required, and the no-code path is real: create an account, write a scenario, send a first lead. Calendar synchronisation and credit auto-reload are self-service. Connecting a CRM is a different matter, since it goes through signed webhooks or the REST API and will need a developer or an automation tool. The genuine effort, however, is editorial rather than technical: writing the qualification scenario, its tone, questions and vocabulary is what determines the quality of the results.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does QualifLeads reach a prospect?
By SMS. As soon as a lead arrives from a form, a CSV import or the API, the platform sends a personalised text in under 30 seconds, then an AI holds a conversation to qualify the need and offer a meeting slot.
Is there a free plan, and what does it include?
Yes, and it is permanent. The Starter plan costs nothing and includes one active qualification scenario, Google and Outlook calendar sync, the REST API and webhooks, email appointment alerts and email support, with 20 credits to start.
What does it really cost to qualify one lead?
A first contact costs 2 credits, or €0.50 excluding VAT. A lead that replies and holds a conversation costs around 12 credits in total, roughly €3.00. Credits are fixed at €0.25 each, with no volume discount and no minimum order.
Is the €59 monthly subscription enough to run the service?
No. The Professionnel plan at €59 excluding VAT per month covers the platform, not the usage. Credits are bought separately and are required on every plan. The publisher's own example puts a realistic budget at €259 a month for 200 leads.
Does it connect to a CRM, and is there an API?
Yes to both. Qualification data can be pushed to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or any other tool through signed webhooks or the REST API. Public API documentation exposes lead and scenario endpoints, and API access is included from the free plan.
Where is the data hosted?
The legal notice, the terms and the DPA all state that service data is hosted in France and encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Be aware that the AI processing itself is subcontracted to US providers under Standard Contractual Clauses, as the published subprocessor table shows.
Who is responsible for GDPR compliance of the outreach?
You are. The terms place prior opt-in consent, the lawfulness of the outreach and the three-year freshness limit on leads squarely on the customer, together with an indemnity clause protecting the publisher against complaints, fines or sanctions.
Is the service available in English?
No. The site, the qualification scenarios and the SMS conversations are in French, and no other language version exists. The tool is also sold strictly to professionals, with the customer required to be a legal entity.
Conclusion

Should you pick QualifLeads?

QualifLeads is a narrow tool that knows exactly what it is: SMS qualification of inbound leads for four French trades. Within that scope it is well built and, more unusually, well documented. The pricing page publishes the unit credit price, the cost of every action, the cost of typical lead scenarios and a budget simulator; the legal set includes a public Article 28 DPA and a subprocessor table naming each provider with its purpose and location. That level of candour is rare from a company this small.

Three reservations deserve attention before buying. The first is economic: the subscription is not the budget. Credits are mandatory on every plan, and the publisher's own worked example shows consumption outweighing the subscription roughly three to one. Read the €59 figure as an access fee, not a running cost, and remember every price is quoted excluding VAT. The second is legal: the terms move consent, lawful outreach and lead freshness onto the customer and add an indemnity clause in the publisher's favour, so the regulatory exposure of SMS prospecting stays with you. The third is technical: French hosting is advertised prominently, yet the AI processing is subcontracted to US providers, and nothing anywhere on the site says whether customer conversations feed model training.

The practical filter is simpler than any of that. The product is French through and through, from the interface to the SMS scripts, and it is sold only to companies. If you run an estate agency, a brokerage or a training organisation in France and lose paid leads because nobody calls back fast enough, the free tier costs nothing to test and the numbers are all public. Anywhere else, the language barrier settles it.
