GDPR overview
Implementation is concrete and documented. The privacy notice (edition 1.2, issued 31 August 2023, revised 19 November 2025) is drafted under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. ACCA software S.p.A. is named as controller at Contrada Rosole 13, Bagnoli Irpino, and both the controller and the Data Protection Officer are reachable at privacy@acca.it. Legal bases are cited article by article, including legitimate interest for direct marketing under Recital 47, and data subject rights under Articles 15 to 22 are listed individually. No transfer outside the EU or EEA takes place in any circumstance. The licence conditions add that ACCA acts as processor under Article 28 when the customer is controller. Who owns the data?
ACCA states on the product page that images created with the software belong to the customer, who is also responsible for their content, including any element reproducing a protected trademark or copyrighted object. The licence conditions go further: uninstalling does not delete customer data held on the platform, of which the customer remains sole owner, and the user is the sole controller of any data entered. ACCA retains ownership of the underlying technology.
