ACCELQ
ACCELQ is a cloud-based, codeless test automation platform for enterprise QA teams. It brings web, mobile, API, desktop and manual testing into a single flow, and adds a generative-AI layer that discovers, writes and repairs tests on its own.
What is ACCELQ?
ACCELQ is a cloud-based continuous testing platform published by ACCELQ, Inc., a company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with further offices in San Francisco and Sydney. Its central claim is that a full enterprise test suite can be designed, built and maintained without writing a line of code.
The platform is sold as four products sharing one engine. Automate Web records and replays flows across browsers, desktop applications, cloud ERP screens, mainframes and files. Automate Mobile covers native, hybrid and browser applications on iOS and Android, on real devices, simulators and device farms, with no local setup. Automate API handles REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT, AMQP, SSH and middleware. ACCELQ Manual is a test management module for work still too fluid to automate. Bought together, the four become ACCELQ Unified, a full-stack platform with embedded test management.
Two further offers sit on top. ACCELQ LIVE targets packaged and multi-cloud applications, shipping pre-built test assets for Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pega, Coupa and nCino, kept aligned with vendor release cycles. Autopilot is the generative-AI layer, sold as a separate subscription: it discovers end-to-end scenarios inside an application, turns everyday English into automation logic through its Q-GPT builder, recommends modular design, heals broken tests by reading the semantic attributes of elements rather than fragile HTML locators, analyses existing logic for optimisation, and generates realistic test data.
Execution runs either on ACCELQ Cloud Lab — local agents available around the clock, parallel runs, cross-browser coverage — or on the customer's own infrastructure. Hosting is a choice between ACCELQ Cloud, on-premise with a minimum of ten licences, and private cloud. Version control, branching and change reconciliation are built in, and the platform connects to Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Bitbucket, Azure/TFS, Visual Studio, Selenium, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Slack and Microsoft Teams.
ACCELQ points to a Forrester Wave leader position in autonomous testing, G2 leadership, a 2025 AI Breakthrough award for Autopilot and a place in the 2023 Deloitte Technology Fast 500. It states that customers typically save over 70% of the cost of test change and maintenance.
What it does

When to use ACCELQ / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if ACCELQ is the right fit.
When to use ACCELQ
- QA engineers and test automation engineers in large organisations
- Functional testers with no programming background, who can build automation through a no-code logic editor
- Agile and scrum teams practising in-sprint automation, with Jira-based sprint planning
- DevOps and CI/CD engineers wiring regression suites into Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Bitbucket or Azure/TFS
- Enterprises testing packaged applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Dynamics 365, Pega, Coupa or nCino
When not to use ACCELQ
- Solo developers and small teams: every paid tier goes through a sales conversation, and no price is published
- Buyers who need to compare costs before talking to anyone, since the pricing page only offers 'Contact us for pricing'
- Organisations wanting an on-premise deployment below ten licences, which is the stated minimum
- Consumers and anyone under 18, as the services are explicitly not directed at minors
- Teams looking for a documented public API to build on: API access is only listed as a plan feature, with no developer documentation on the site
How to use ACCELQ
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Request the 14-day free trial from the site: no credit card and no commitment are required
- Take the personalised product orientation and open the pre-configured sample project that comes with the trial
- Decide on hosting: ACCELQ Cloud, where the vendor runs setup, patching and upgrades, or on-premise from ten licences up
- Map the application as a business process blueprint in the Scenario Builder, since design comes first in this tool
- Write test logic in the no-code editor, or describe it in everyday English and let Q-GPT generate it
- Model the test data with the Integrated Data Designer and let the platform generate parameterised combinations
- Connect the ecosystem: Jira for requirements and defects, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or Azure/TFS for the pipeline
- Run the suites on ACCELQ Cloud Lab for parallel and cross-browser execution, or on your own local agents
- Track outcomes on the Continuous Action Dashboard and drill into historical results and reports
- Let Autonomous Healing absorb application changes and use Change Bot to assess the impact of each new revision
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuinely codeless, so functional testers without a programming background can contribute to automation
- One unified flow across web, mobile, API, desktop, mainframe and manual testing, instead of separate tools
- Pre-built test assets for packaged ERP and cloud applications, which few competitors ship out of the box
- An unusually explicit AI data policy: no training on customer data, no retention after each interaction, and a tenant-level switch to disable Autopilot entirely
- A 14-day trial with no credit card, plus a free-for-life Individuals tier on the manual testing module
- A real choice of deployment: vendor cloud, on-premise or private cloud, with support included in the annual subscription
- Third-party recognition, including a Forrester Wave leader position, G2 leadership and a Deloitte Fast 500 place
Cons
- No price is published anywhere: every path leads to 'Contact us for pricing' or 'Schedule a call'
- No terms and conditions are published at all, so the contractual framework cannot be read before signing
- No security certification is displayed — neither SOC 2, ISO 27001 nor HIPAA appears anywhere on the site
- Neither a data processing agreement nor a subprocessor list is offered, which enterprise procurement usually requires
- The hosting country is never named: the FAQ only mentions 'amazon AWS service'
- On-premise deployment requires a minimum of ten licences, which rules out small pilots
- Autopilot, the AI layer that carries most of the product's differentiation, is a separate subscription rather than an included capability
Pricing & Plans
ACCELQ does not publish any price. The pricing page describes plans and features in detail but replaces every amount with 'Contact us for pricing', 'Schedule a call' or 'Talk to us', so the entry point of the paid range cannot be stated in any currency. A permanent free plan does exist: the Individuals tier of ACCELQ Manual is advertised as free for life, limited to simple functional testing. Every other tier is a quoted annual subscription, with customer support included in that subscription, and prospective buyers can first take a 14-day free trial without a credit card. On-premise deployment requires at least ten licences, and cross-browser testing on the cloud is charged as a separate add-on.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how ACCELQ handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy carries a dedicated GDPR Requirements section, which is more than many vendors offer. It lists six legal bases for processing — consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public interest and legitimate interests — and six data subject rights: access, correction, objection, erasure, portability and withdrawal of consent. Users in the EEA are told they may complain to their local supervisory authority, and privacy@accelq.com is the single contact point. The gaps are real, though. International transfers are acknowledged in general terms only, with no standard contractual clauses or adequacy mechanism named. No Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, and neither a data processing agreement nor a subprocessor list is published.
Who owns the data?
ACCELQ publishes no terms and conditions, so ownership can only be read from its privacy policy. That policy names ACCELQ, Inc. as the controller of the information it collects. Test cases, step descriptions, execution logs, uploaded files and links stay with the customer, but ACCELQ stores and processes them on its cloud; in the on-premise edition it states it collects none of this content. Where an organisation buys the service, that organisation controls the data and ACCELQ acts as its processor, which means an employer's administrator can reach an employee's account. ACCELQ says it does not sell information to advertisers, but reserves the right to transfer it in a merger, financing or acquisition.
Reuse rights
Because no terms and conditions are published, reuse rights are described only in the privacy policy, and they cover personal data rather than the test assets a customer builds. Users can delete parts of their profile from inside the product, and can ask for access, correction, erasure or portability of their personal data in a structured, machine-readable format. Marketing messages can be switched off through the unsubscribe link or account settings, and personalisation can be stopped by writing to privacy@accelq.com. Californian residents get CCPA rights on top. Two limits matter: where an organisation administers the account, requests may depend on that administrator, and ACCELQ keeps some records for legal and contractual reasons.

Hosting summary
ACCELQ offers three hosting routes: its own cloud, on-premise on the customer's servers with a minimum of ten licences, and private cloud priced like on-premise. In the on-premise edition the vendor states it collects none of the content produced in the product. For its cloud, the pricing FAQ names Amazon AWS as the infrastructure but no country and no region are ever stated, so jurisdiction cannot be established from the site. Isolation is described concretely: a private schema per tenant, data segregation across tenants, application access restricted through OAuth 2.0 and tenant group policies, IAM policies, IP-restricted security groups and access audits, with 30 days of backup and recovery. Traffic to the LLM infrastructure passes through a centralised, encrypted gateway with vendor-managed credentials, and Autopilot output is stored in the same region as the customer's existing data. International transfers are acknowledged only in general terms, with no mechanism named.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ACCELQ.
- Invisible pricing makes budgeting impossible without a sales conversation, and comparison with rivals harder still
- With no published terms and conditions, the contractual framework cannot be examined before committing
- Test assets become proprietary to the platform, and no migration path away from it is documented — the site only documents migration towards it
- No security certification is displayed even though the product targets regulated industries, so compliance claims must be verified directly
- The hosting country is never named, which makes data sovereignty requirements hard to assess in advance
- The vendor itself warns that generative-AI output can be inaccurate and must be reviewed before updating test assets — treating it as reliable would be a mistake
- Handing test design over to an AI can quietly erode a QA team's own understanding of the business processes it is meant to protect
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the testing work itself, moderate for the plumbing. The logic editor is no-code, mobile automation is advertised as zero-setup and cloud-native, and the trial ships a pre-configured sample project with a personalised orientation, an academy with video training, certifications and 24/7 support. On ACCELQ Cloud the vendor handles installation, patching and upgrades entirely. What still needs a technical hand is connecting the CI pipeline, configuring single sign-on and roles, and — if on-premise is chosen — installing and upgrading the platform on your own servers, from ten licences up.

Should you pick ACCELQ?
ACCELQ is a serious enterprise QA platform, and it is clear about who it is for. The unified coverage of web, mobile, API, desktop, mainframe and manual testing in one flow is genuinely uncommon, and the pre-built assets for Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday and their peers address exactly the testing work that large organisations find hardest to automate. Autopilot, the generative-AI layer, is described in more operational detail than most vendors bother with: autonomous discovery of end-to-end scenarios, plain-English logic generation, healing that reads semantic attributes instead of HTML locators.
Its data posture around AI is a real strength. ACCELQ states plainly that customer data never trains its models or the underlying LLMs, that nothing is retained after an interaction, and that a tenant administrator can switch the whole generative-AI layer off. Few vendors commit to all three in writing.
The weaknesses are on the governance and commercial side, and they are not small. No price is published, so no evaluation can be budgeted without a sales call. No terms and conditions exist on the site at all, which means the contract cannot be read in advance. No security certification is displayed, no data processing agreement is offered, no subprocessor list is published, and the hosting country is never named — an odd set of gaps for a product aimed at regulated industries.
The realistic buyer is a QA or engineering leader in a large company already committed to packaged applications, willing to run the 14-day trial and then negotiate. Anyone who needs to compare costs first, or who must clear a procurement checklist before a demo, will have to extract those answers from the sales team rather than from the website.
