The working method is a chat. You describe the page you want, the agent builds it, and you keep talking to it until the layout, the copy and the structure are right. Three deliberate starting points stand between you and the blank page: 23 Aceternity UI Pro templates you can import wholesale, 287 section blocks you can drop in one at a time, and skills, routines you point at a single section to get sharper layout and copy instead of another wall of default Tailwind cards. Image generation is built into the editor, so a background can be produced and applied without leaving the flow. Developers who prefer an empty room can start from a blank Next.js, Vite or TanStack starter instead. What separates Acebuilder from hosted builders is the exit door. At any moment you download the complete React and Tailwind source as a zip, and that code remains yours whether or not you keep paying. From there you can carry on with another AI assistant, wire the page into an existing app, and host it wherever you like. A Vercel integration, connected over OAuth2, handles deployment for those who want it, and projects already deployed stay under your control even if you close your account. Two caveats are stated by the editor itself. Acebuilder is in beta, with bugs and rough edges expected while the team ships quickly. And it is paid only, from 25 USD per month, on a credit model where each turn charges for the model response, the tools it runs, images and screenshots, not for the length of the prompt you typed.

GDPR overview
GDPR is mentioned once, and narrowly. The privacy policy, in force since 16 January 2025, states that for users in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland the company complies with GDPR requirements for international data transfers, and invokes standard contractual clauses. Nothing claims compliance beyond that transfer question. The rights offered are real and listed: access, portability in JSON or CSV, correction, deletion, and opt-out from marketing emails and analytics cookies, with a thirty-day response commitment on verified requests sent to contact@aceternity.com. What is missing matters as much: no Data Processing Agreement is published or offered, no EU representative under Article 27 is named, no subprocessor page exists as such, and no security certification is claimed. The service is operated from India.
Who owns the data?
You keep ownership of everything you create with Acebuilder: pages, code, text and images. The EULA and the License both state it, and the FAQ repeats it. In exchange you grant Aceternity Solutions a limited licence to process, store and transmit that content in order to run the service, to deploy it to the Vercel account you connect, and to use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the product. Exported code is yours for good: cancelling or stopping payment does not claw it back. Projects already deployed to Vercel stay under your control even after you delete your Acebuilder account.
Reuse rights
Yes: you can reuse and commercialise what you generate without asking. You may export the full React and Tailwind source at any time, keep building on it locally or with another AI assistant, host it anywhere and use it for your own projects, subject only to the Terms and the License. The restrictions bite on the platform, not on your output: you may not resell access to Acebuilder itself, reverse engineer it, or generate illegal or infringing content. On its own side, the editor says it trains and refines AI models on anonymised data and uses prompts and conversations to improve AI responses, with no documented way to opt out. It commits never to sell personal information and never to publish your project content without consent.

Hosting summary
The privacy policy states plainly that Acebuilder is operated from India, and that user information may be transferred to, stored and processed in India and in other countries. Infrastructure, storage and content delivery are described as running on AWS and GCP, without naming a region. For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, standard contractual clauses and other safeguards are invoked to cover those transfers. Protection measures are spelled out: TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 for stored OAuth tokens, bcrypt password hashing, role-based access controls, encrypted backups and optional two-factor authentication. No hosting certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed anywhere on the site. One technical caveat: the domain resolves to a Cloudflare anycast address, which identifies a CDN point of presence and says nothing about where data actually rests.

Because it generates real React and Tailwind code from the Aceternity UI library and lets you download the whole thing as a zip, the answer is that nothing happens. You keep the source, hand it to any assistant, and carry on. Framer produces prettier first drafts and Lovable wires up a backend, but neither lets you walk away with the code, and Acebuilder's own founder says so in print. The price of that ownership is paid twice. First in money: there is no free plan, no free trial and no refund, so the cheapest way to form an opinion is 25 USD per month spent up front.
