What is Aepto?
Aepto is a SaaS platform that watches over a portfolio of domains, published by Limitless Hosting Ltd., a company based in London. Its pitch is straightforward: bring domains, websites and hosting into a single dashboard instead of chasing them across registrar control panels, DNS providers and email consoles. Every domain you add is scanned automatically by the AI layer. It reads the DNS records, works out who hosts the website and the email, validates SPF and DKIM, produces a health score and suggests what to fix. From there the platform keeps watching. Website monitoring reports downtime, slow responses and errors, and tries to name the real incident behind them, such as a failed WordPress plugin, a database crash or an intrusion. Domain Theft Guard follows DNS records, name servers and the transfer lock continuously, with a documented check every 15 minutes, and raises an alert as soon as something moves. Uptime is measured from several regions across Asia, Europe and the United States, four of which are named on the site (US-East, US-Central, EU-Central and Asia-SouthEast), rising to nine regions on the Agency plan. Around that core sit several other modules. Expense tracking records purchase cost, renewals, estimated value and return on investment for each domain. AI Domain Discovery generates available names from a keyword or from a brand idea. Domain Watch follows names you do not own and warns you when they expire or come back on the market. Public status pages are standard on the lower tiers and white-labelled on your own domain from the Professional plan upwards. The design choice that shapes the whole product is the absence of plumbing: Aepto works with any registrar, there is nothing to integrate and no API to connect, and hosting is detected on its own. AI credits are consumed only by manual actions such as domain discovery or an on-demand content check, so routine automatic monitoring never spends them. The AI analysis runs once a day on the Free and Starter plans and twice a day from Professional. The site and the web application at app.aepto.com are available in English only.

GDPR overview
The privacy policy commits to processing personal data lawfully, transparently and securely in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. That is the British regime, not the EU regulation, and nothing on the site claims compliance with EU GDPR. Limitless Hosting Ltd. is named as controller and described as registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Section 13 lists rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to the ICO. Section 10 states that transfers outside the United Kingdom rely on standard contractual clauses or another mechanism approved under UK GDPR, and section 9 states that processors work under a written data processing agreement and documented instructions. No Article 27 representative is designated for EU users and no data protection officer is appointed: the only privacy contact published is sales@limitlesshost.net.
Who owns the data?
Aepto is owned and operated by Limitless Hosting Ltd., 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London WC1X 0ND, which acts as data controller and states that it is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Section 13 of the terms of service is explicit: you retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant the publisher only a limited licence to process that content for the purpose of operating the service. Everything on the other side of that line, meaning the Aepto software, its trademarks and its site content, belongs to Limitless Hosting Ltd. or to its licensors under section 12. The privacy policy setting out these commitments is dated 27 December 2025.
Reuse rights
Because you keep ownership of the content you submit, you remain free to reuse your own data without asking permission; the licence granted to the publisher is limited to running the service. On its side, the privacy policy lists what is collected: contact details (name, email), account identifiers, billing information, technical data (IP address, browser, device, usage) and support conversations. It is used to deliver and maintain the service, manage accounts, process subscriptions and payments, communicate, provide support, improve security and performance, detect fraud and meet legal obligations, on the legal bases of consent, contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest. Third-party AI providers are named in section 8: OpenAI, DeepSeek AI and similar suppliers. Personal data is not used to train AI models, and those providers are not permitted to use customer personal data to train theirs. Aepto states that it does not sell personal data and shares it only with suppliers, subcontractors, payment processors, professional advisers and authorities. Payments run through third-party processors (Stripe in the billing documentation) and no full card data is stored on Aepto's servers. Section 14 rules out automated decision-making and profiling with legal effects.

Hosting summary
Aepto publishes no hosting location for customer data. Neither the privacy policy, the terms of service nor the about page names a country, a region or a data centre. The only indication is indirect: section 10 of the privacy policy governs transfers of personal data outside the United Kingdom, which implies that processing is anchored there without ever saying so. Infrastructure is said to be provided by the parent company, Limitless Hosting. The four regions displayed on the site (US-East, US-Central, EU-Central and Asia-SouthEast) are uptime monitoring vantage points, not storage locations, and must not be read as a hosting statement. Independently of what the site declares, a network check shows aepto.com resolving to 162.244.93.4, geolocated in Las Vegas, United States (AS965, Webhosting Holdings LLC); that describes where the marketing site runs, not where customer data is processed. No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and no trust or security page is published.

Aepto answers a real and unglamorous problem: a portfolio of domains scattered across registrars, DNS providers and hosts, with no single place to see whether any of it is about to break. Its answer is a monitoring product that asks almost nothing of you technically. You add a domain, the AI reads its DNS, identifies the web and email hosting, validates SPF and DKIM and returns a health score, and from then on it watches the records, the name servers, the transfer lock, the certificate and the uptime. The breadth is the strength. Few products cover domain theft, renewal reminders, email deliverability checks, multi-region uptime, status pages and spending analysis at once, and the permanent free plan makes all of it testable without a credit card. Pricing is public and readable, and the privacy policy takes a clear position on model training. The gaps are just as visible. There is no public API, no mobile application and no third-party integration, so alerts live inside the product and cannot join an existing incident chain. The transparency around data is thinner than the product deserves: no hosting country, no subprocessor list, no customer data processing agreement, no security certification, and legal and privacy questions sent to a sales address on the parent company's domain.
