Agda.ai
Agda.ai is a Swedish AI assistant for farming. Producers email settlement notes, invoices and production reports to a dedicated address; Agda reads them automatically, extracts key figures, flags deviations and answers plain-language questions about the farm's own data.
What is Agda.ai?
Agda.ai is an AI assistant built for farming, published by the Swedish company Green Adviser AB, whose stated business is developing web systems, sites and applications for the green industries. Its tagline sums up the intent: from data, to insight, to decision-making power.
The product exists on three surfaces: mobile apps for iOS and Android, the Agda Insight web portal, and an ingestion email address of the form yourfarm@agda.ai. The core mechanic runs through that address. A farmer forwards settlement notes, invoices and production reports; Agda detects the document type on its own, extracts the figures, categorises them and compares them with the farm's own history. The published examples are concrete: net price per egg, per litre of milk or per kilo of grain, quality deductions for dirt, breakage, blood or grading, and trends by week, month and production cycle. Results are also set against anonymised averages from comparable producers.
Deviation alerts arrive unprompted: an abnormally low net price, breakage or dirt deductions that suddenly spike, rising mortality or a falling laying rate, unusual feed or energy consumption, odd increases in purchase prices, and errors or gaps in the paperwork. Each one comes with a short explanation of what happened and what to look at.
On top sits a natural-language chat over the farm's own data, with follow-up questions: average egg price over the year, feed consumption in April, this year's milk price against last year's. The claimed knowledge scope covers agronomy, crop choice, husbandry, farm economics, environmental questions and machinery upkeep. Specialised AI coaches come with a toolbox of calculators, from dew-point degree days and rainfall history to soil temperature, machine capacity, seed quantities, electricity price analysis and autoanteckningar, audio turned into structured notes. A peer-to-peer network of human experts can be booked in the app at a rate the expert sets. The optional Prata med Agda answers by voice, phone-call style, for use in the tractor. Usage runs on credits, and an Agda Edu beta adapts the whole thing for agricultural schools. The apps are live on both stores, version 2.8.0 dating from December 2025, and a modular API is announced as an active beta.
What it does
- Forward a settlement note, invoice or production report to the farm's own agda.ai address and get an automatic analysis back
- Ask questions about your own figures in plain language, with follow-up questions
- Receive deviation alerts you never had to ask for, each with a short explanation of what happened
- Track key figures, charts and trend summaries in the Agda Insight web portal
- Benchmark your results against anonymised averages from comparable producers
- Run agronomy and machinery calculators from the built-in toolbox, or dictate notes and get them back structured
- Book a session with a human expert from the peer-to-peer network
When to use Agda.ai / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Agda.ai is the right fit.
When to use Agda.ai
- Swedish egg producers who want net price per egg, quality deductions, laying rate and mortality pulled straight out of their settlement notes
- Dairy farmers tracking milk price per litre, feed costs and animal health from a phone
- Arable and meat producers who receive recurring settlement notes and invoices they never have time to check line by line
- Farm owners who want to cut down on paperwork without becoming spreadsheet experts
- Swedish agricultural upper-secondary schools (naturbruksskolor) looking for a teaching aid built on real farm data, through Agda Edu
When not to use Agda.ai
- Anyone outside agriculture: the assistant's answer scope is deliberately limited to agronomy, machinery, farm economics and environmental questions
- Non-Swedish speakers: interface, documentation, support and price list are entirely in Swedish, and pricing is in SEK
- Teams that need API integration: the Agda API is announced as an active beta, with no public documentation and access on request
- Organisations that require a signed data processing agreement or a published sub-processor list, since neither exists
- Users expecting self-service sign-up: accounts are created manually by the publisher once a contract has been signed
How to use Agda.ai
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Get in touch with the publisher: new Agda accounts are created manually by Green Adviser AB once a farmer or an agricultural organisation signs an agreement to use the service
- At account creation, a username, a mobile number and a password are registered; email address, first name, surname and profile picture remain optional
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or open the Agda Insight web portal
- Ask your first question in the chat window, keeping it as precise as possible for a better answer
- Bring in your data one of three ways: email it to your dedicated farm address at agda.ai, drag and drop it into the portal's import tool, or connect an existing data source
- Wait for the in-app notification that tells you the analysis is ready
- Open Agda Insight to read the extracted key figures, charts and trend summaries
- Rephrase your question or add context whenever Agda misreads what you meant
- Connect external systems from the Tillägg section of Insight, bearing in mind the one-off fee charged per system by the provider
- Fall back on the step-by-step guide on insight.agda.ai or the getting-started guide on help.agda.ai if you get stuck
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Ingestion is as simple as forwarding an email: no manual data entry, no spreadsheet to maintain
- Genuinely specialised in Swedish production lines (eggs, milk, grain, meat) rather than a general-purpose assistant wearing a farm hat
- Error detection with immediate monetary value, illustrated by a published testimonial from an egg producer whose settlement note carried a mistake two human checkers had missed
- Data hosting on Swedish servers is stated by the publisher
- A permanent free tier with 100 welcome credits and no card requirement announced, with unused credits rolling over automatically
- Human expertise available alongside the AI, through a peer-to-peer expert network bookable in the app
- Real mobile apps published on both stores and recently updated (version 2.8.0, December 2025), plus a dedicated Agda Edu version for agricultural schools
Cons
- No terms of service anywhere: the site's store settings carry a null terms-of-service value on all twelve pages and the sitemap lists no legal page
- The privacy policy lives on a different domain (greenadviser.se), is brief, was first published in March 2024 and shows no update since
- No data processing agreement, no sub-processor list and no named DPO, and no documented way to keep your data out of training even though the FAQ claims the system learns from user interactions
- Site and product are entirely in Swedish: the navigation's English toggle leads to an empty anchor and /home serves the same Swedish page as the homepage
- No currency is displayed on the price list (499 and 899 per month appear bare); SEK is inferred from the site's store setting and from the amounts written in kr on the Agda Edu page
- No self-service sign-up: the account is created manually by the publisher after a contract is signed
- Several costs stay unquantified, from the API beta with no public documentation or price to the one-off fee for connecting external systems (set by the provider) and expert sessions priced by each expert; no third-party integration is named either, only categories of systems
Pricing & Plans
Agda.ai offers a permanent free plan, Skal, which includes basic AI support, the AI coaches, the free toolbox and 100 welcome credits. The lowest paid entry point is the Vita plan at 499 SEK per month, followed by Gula at 899 SEK per month; the Specialanpassad enterprise plan is quoted according to scope, and the Skollicens for agricultural schools runs from 5,000 to 15,000 SEK per month depending on student numbers. It should be noted that the price list itself displays no currency symbol: SEK is inferred from the site's store setting and from the amounts written in kr on the Agda Edu page. Several items remain unpriced, namely the Prata med Agda voice option, expert sessions (set by each expert and paid per session) and connections to external systems, billed as a one-off fee per system depending on the provider.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Agda.ai handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly: the FAQ states that Agda.ai follows the GDPR, collects only necessary information, shares nothing without consent and leaves the user in full control of their data. The publisher is established in Sweden, so no Article 27 representative is required or appointed. Access and rectification are exercised directly in the app or on the website; deletion is requested from the publisher. Privacy questions go to info@greenadviser.se. The policy itself sits on the publisher's domain, greenadviser.se, and was first published in March 2024 with no update noted since. Beyond that, documentation is thin: there is no data processing agreement, no sub-processor list, no named DPO, and no terms of service at all, the site's store settings carrying a null terms-of-service value on every page while the sitemap lists no legal page.
Who owns the data?
The publisher's position is that the farm keeps control of its own material: you always retain control, on your terms. Files you upload are stored until you delete them yourself, and the privacy policy states that you can view and correct your information from within the app or on the website. Account deletion is not self-service: it has to be requested from Green Adviser AB. Documents are described as being used only to produce your own analyses, and benchmarking against other farms is presented as fully anonymous, with no identity disclosed. One caveat: no terms of service exist, so ownership is never spelled out contractually, only through the privacy policy and the marketing copy.
Reuse rights
No terms of service are published, so nothing on record restricts what a farm does with the figures and analyses it gets back. On the publisher's side, the privacy policy says data is used to run and improve the website, the apps and customer support, and that uploaded documents serve only to build your analyses. Personal information is not shared with outside parties except where necessary for Agda's functionality, is never disclosed for marketing purposes without prior consent, and may be handed over on a court order or to protect the publisher's rights. A notification token is stored only if push notifications are switched on and is never used for marketing; session cookies keep you logged in and your IP address may be recorded. Google Play's data safety card declares no data shared with third parties, collection of app activity, app info and performance and device identifiers, and encryption in transit. One point deserves attention: the FAQ states the system improves over time through machine learning based on user interactions, while the privacy policy never mentions model training at all.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The publisher states that data is held on Swedish servers and processed in line with European security requirements. All communication with the app and the website goes over HTTPS, and the Google Play data safety declaration confirms that data is encrypted in transit. Uploaded documents are described as being used solely to produce the user's own analyses. Beyond that, nothing is documented: no hosting provider is named, no data centre or region is given, and no certification is cited. One nuance is worth stating so the record is not misread. The public marketing site itself runs on Squarespace, on an anycast IP address that geolocates to the United States; that concerns the public pages, not farm data, and the two facts should not be read as contradicting each other. There is no data processing agreement and no sub-processor list, even though the privacy policy anticipates sharing information where necessary for Agda's functionality.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Agda.ai.
- The FAQ states that the system improves through machine learning based on user interactions, yet no opt-out is documented anywhere and the privacy policy never addresses model training
- With no terms of service published, the contractual relationship rests entirely on an offline agreement that cannot be read before committing
- The privacy policy is hosted on greenadviser.se rather than on the product's own domain, was published in March 2024 and carries no update history since
- The 499 and 899 monthly amounts appear on the pricing page with no currency attached, leaving the buyer to infer it
- The site contradicts itself in places: the project page claims the work is financed from the company's own funds while displaying the European Union co-financing logo, the publisher declares two different business addresses depending on the app store (Herrljunga on Google Play and in the trade register, Lomma on the App Store), and the App Store lists English as the app's only language when the visible product is Swedish throughout
- Deleting an account is not self-service, it goes through a request to the publisher, and cross-farm comparisons are described as anonymous without the anonymisation method being documented anywhere
- Leaning on automatic deviation alerts can quietly erode the habit of checking documents yourself: the publisher's own testimonial about an error two people missed cuts both ways, since a farm that stops looking is trusting a system that publishes no error rate
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Technically, setup is close to effortless: you email a document to your dedicated address or drag and drop it into the portal, and the site makes an explicit point of not requiring spreadsheet expertise. The real friction is administrative rather than technical, since accounts are not opened by signing up but created manually by the publisher once a service agreement has been signed. Connecting external systems is a separate exercise, handled from the Tillägg section of Insight and billed as a one-off fee per system set by the provider.

Should you pick Agda.ai?
Agda.ai is an unapologetically niche tool. It is built for Swedish farming, from eggs and milk to grain and meat, and makes no claim to be a general-purpose assistant. What it does well is remove the paperwork tax: you forward a settlement note or a production report to your own farm address at agda.ai and get back extracted figures, comparisons against your own history and, when something looks wrong, an alert with a short explanation. The clearest illustration of its value is the publisher's own testimonial from an egg producer, describing an error on a settlement note that two human checkers had missed and Agda caught.
The strengths are real. Ingestion takes no effort, the free Skal tier is permanent rather than a countdown, unused credits roll over, and the publisher states that data is held on Swedish servers under European security requirements. Human expertise sits alongside the AI, and a separate Agda Edu version targets agricultural schools.
The weaknesses are structural rather than functional. There is no terms of service at all; the privacy policy is short, sits on the publisher's own domain and has not been updated since March 2024; there is no data processing agreement and no sub-processor list. Add a genuine tension: the FAQ says the system improves through machine learning on user interactions, yet no opt-out is documented and the privacy policy never mentions training.
Two practical barriers remain. Everything, from interface to support to price list, is in Swedish. And the account is not opened by signing up but by signing a contract with the publisher.
Say yes if you farm in Sweden, receive recurring settlement notes and want them checked automatically. Say no if you need English, self-service onboarding, a documented API, or formal data-processing paperwork.
