ASGS Copilot
ASGS Copilot is a Swiss multi-agent AI assistant for occupational health and safety. Eighteen specialised agents answer workplace safety, health, fire and emergency questions using official Swiss sources from 16 federal bodies, with clickable citations.
What is ASGS Copilot?
ASGS Copilot is a Swiss assistant dedicated to occupational safety and health protection, sold by innoQ Research GmbH of Baar and carried by the publisher's own INNOCHAT agent platform. The same product appears under four brand names depending on the language of the interface: ASGS in German, STPS in French, SLPS in Italian and OHS in English.
Its architecture is what sets it apart from a general-purpose chatbot. An AI supervisor reads each question, works out which discipline it belongs to and hands it to one of 18 specialist agents: Knowledge Base, Safe Task Check, Internal Policy Guide, Law & Compliance, Incident First Responder, Hazard & Near-Miss Reporter, Emergency & Evacuation Guide, Risk & Measures Planner, PPE & Work Equipment Guide, Workplace Ergonomics & Wellbeing, Psychosocial Safety & Speak-Up, Onboarding Coach, Facilities Maintenance & Cleaning, External Workforce & Contractors, Travel & Offsite Safety, Safety Officer & KOPAS Copilot, Quiz Coach and Human Escalation Coordinator. The user never has to know which expert is competent.
The knowledge base is the second differentiator. The vendor states it was built on official material from 16 Swiss authorities and recognised institutions, among them SUVA, EKAS, SECO, VKF, FKS, BAG, BAFU, IVR, SRC, SRK, GFCH, Fedlex, SNV, SBFI, KAI and ASTRA, amounting to more than 6,500 documents in German, French and Italian. The published legal framework is dated April 2026 and runs from Article 110 of the Federal Constitution through the Accident Insurance Act, the Labour Act, Article 328 of the Code of Obligations and a series of special statutes on chemicals, electricity, explosives, radiation and the environment. Every answer carries source references that link back to the original documents, so each statement can be checked independently.
The vendor is explicit about the limit: the tool provides practical first-line guidance, not legally binding advice, and hands binding questions over to safety officers, occupational health specialists, HR, legal or emergency services. It is presented as an early version, with the operational deployment delivered after a consultation and a signed contract.
What it does
- Answer occupational safety and health questions in plain language, with links back to the official Swiss source
- Route every question automatically to one of 18 specialist agents through an AI supervisor
- Produce checklists, safety briefings, risk assessments and action plans on demand
- Give step-by-step emergency guidance for first aid, evacuation and incident response
- Take hazard and near-miss reports and return the procedure that applies
- Answer against the company's own directives, SOPs and work instructions once they have been loaded
- Escalate to a human expert, a ticket or an internal mailbox when a question goes beyond first-line guidance
When to use ASGS Copilot / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if ASGS Copilot is the right fit.
When to use ASGS Copilot
- Safety officers (SiBe) and KOPAS coordinators who spend hours tracking down the right EKAS checklist, SUVA guideline or ordinance article
- Swiss SMEs with no in-house safety department, named explicitly by the vendor as a target group
- HR managers and executives dealing with employer duties, mandatory briefings and psychosocial risk obligations
- Newly appointed team leaders and supervisors who need first-line orientation on the safety duties attached to their role
- Multilingual workforces: the knowledge base runs on German, French and Italian sources and can return answers in more than 100 languages
When not to use ASGS Copilot
- Anyone who needs a legally binding opinion: the vendor states plainly that the tool gives first-line guidance and redirects to human experts
- Companies outside Switzerland: the corpus is Swiss federal law, EKAS directives and VKF fire standards, with no equivalent for other jurisdictions
- Teams that require a contractual availability commitment: the terms exclude any SLA and describe the service as best effort
- Buyers who want to subscribe and start the same day: the operational solution is scoped in a consultation and delivered after a contract is signed
- Field staff who expect a native mobile app: the tool ships as a web widget and messaging integrations, with no App Store or Play Store listing
How to use ASGS Copilot
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open the trial widget linked from the product page to try the assistant without any installation
- Ask your question in natural language, the way you would put it to an experienced colleague
- Give the context that matters: sector, situation and people involved, since a concrete question produces a precise answer
- Let the AI supervisor route the question to the specialist agent that owns the topic
- Read the answer and follow the source links to the original SUVA, EKAS or Fedlex document to verify it
- Ask follow-up questions in the same session, as the agents keep the conversation context
- Request a different output format when useful, such as a summary, a step-by-step guide or a comparison table
- Book the 30-minute consultation so INNOQ can scope the deployment against your own requirements
- After contract signature, configure the agents, load your internal directives and SOPs, and adjust answering behaviour and branding
- Deploy where your teams already work: on your website or intranet, through Slack, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, or via the API
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A knowledge base that is explicitly Swiss and official, built on 16 named institutions with a legal framework dated April 2026
- Every answer is verifiable, since references and links to the source documents are attached
- Specialisation by discipline rather than one general assistant, with 18 agents covering the full occupational safety spectrum
- Trilingual sources in German, French and Italian with output in over 100 languages, which suits multilingual workforces
- Hosting claimed in the EU and Switzerland, with conversation data stated not to leave the European legal area and not to train external models
- Bring Your Own Key and per-agent model selection give control over model choice, cost and digital sovereignty
- A fully identified publisher: complete legal notice, commercial register entry, telephone number and a designated Article 27 EU representative
Cons
- No price is published for ASGS Copilot itself; the only visible rate card belongs to the underlying INNOCHAT platform
- The product is announced as an early version, and the trial link is temporary and will be deactivated once the free test phase ends
- The terms exclude any SLA: the service is best effort, with no minimum availability and no guaranteed accuracy
- Support runs through email and Discord only, during office hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 CET, with no guaranteed response time
- Scope is limited to Swiss law, and sector-specific content or internal system connections are available only on request
- There is no mobile application, and no dedicated ASGS documentation separate from the platform's own
- No dedicated subprocessor page and no public DPA page: both are covered only in the privacy policy and an enterprise-tier mention
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free tier is available at CHF 0, offering 1,000 message credits per month, one chatbot and two AI agents. The lowest paid entry point is CHF 69.00 per month on monthly billing, falling to CHF 59.00 per month on an annual commitment. Prices are quoted in Swiss francs or euros depending on the market region, and billing is monthly or annual in advance through Stripe. Note that the ASGS Copilot page publishes no price of its own: this rate card is the one designated as applicable by the terms and conditions linked from its footer, and the operational ASGS solution is quoted individually after a consultation.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how ASGS Copilot handles your data.
GDPR overview
Implementation is concrete and specific. The privacy policy claims compliance with the GDPR, the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and the Austrian DSG, and names its legal bases: Article 6(1)(a), (b) and (f) GDPR, together with Article 6(1) and Articles 30 ff. revDSG. An Article 27 EU representative is designated, innoQ Deutschland GmbH in Monheim am Rhein, reachable at innochat@innoq.com. Data subject rights are listed individually (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, objection), with hello@innochat.ch as the single contact point. Transfers to third countries rely on standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements and a prior Transfer Impact Assessment. The policy is dated 15 July 2025. No data protection officer is named, and a DPA is offered only to EU enterprise customers.
Who owns the data?
Under the publisher's terms, innoQ Research GmbH retains every right to the software, the platform, the documentation and the logos. Content brought in by the customer, such as internal directives, work instructions and SOPs, remains the customer's property provided it breaches neither third-party rights nor the law. The ASGS Copilot page adds that customers keep full control over their content, conversations and access permissions at all times, and may decide whether conversations are stored at all. The controller for personal data is innoQ Research GmbH in Baar. The terms also ask customers not to enter personal or confidential data unless that has been contractually agreed.
Reuse rights
Customers can reuse their own inputs and uploads without asking permission: ownership of customer content stays with the customer, and nothing in the terms restricts what they do with the answers they receive. The platform itself is a different matter, since software, interface, documentation and logos remain with the publisher. On the vendor's side, the declared purposes are operating the SaaS platform, registration, contract and payment handling through Stripe, support, and quality optimisation. Excerpts of user input, described as chunks, are pseudonymised and passed to external model providers including OpenAI, Google AI/DeepMind, Anthropic and Amazon Bedrock, and the customer expressly consents to that transfer on accepting the terms. The vendor states that conversation data is not used to train external AI models and that no analytics or tracking data is collected. Customers who bring their own API key keep model usage and billing on their own LLM account.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The vendor states that the ASGS Copilot platform is developed and operated in Switzerland, with data processing on servers in the EU and in Switzerland, and that conversation data does not leave the European legal area. The privacy policy is more precise: the infrastructure runs in the AWS Frankfurt region, and all system components, user accounts and log data remain in that region unless explicitly stated otherwise, protected by TLS 1.3, IAM and KMS encryption. The pricing page carries a 100% EU hosting banner, and the product page states that the language models are hosted in Europe. Both the revised Swiss Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR are said to apply. The qualification matters: excerpts of user input can still be sent to model providers in the United States, under standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements and a prior Transfer Impact Assessment. The terms also disclaim any guarantee of reliability for the AWS Frankfurt region or for US-based AI providers.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ASGS Copilot.
- Answers carry no legal force, yet they concern subjects with criminal and civil exposure such as accidents, employer duties and documentation obligations; treating a first-line answer as a compliance decision is the main risk
- The terms forbid entering personal or confidential data without a contractual agreement, which sits awkwardly with HR, accident and psychosocial use cases the product itself advertises
- Excerpts of user input travel to model providers outside the EU, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Amazon, despite the EU and Swiss hosting claim
- Habitual reliance can erode the safety knowledge of supervisors and safety officers, who may stop reading the underlying ordinances and directives they are legally responsible for knowing
- The subprocessor list in the privacy policy is explicitly non-exhaustive, and there is no dedicated page tracking changes to it
- The product page's declared canonical URL does not resolve, and the trial link is announced as temporary, so bookmarks and internal links may break
- The publisher and a sister company, innoQ Schweiz GmbH, share an address and a managing director, so it is worth confirming which entity the contract is signed with
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low to try, moderate to deploy properly. The trial widget needs no installation, and the underlying platform is a no-code agent builder embedded through JavaScript or an iFrame. Real deployment is a project rather than a signup: agent configuration, loading company documents, tuning answering behaviour and branding all come after contract signature, and SSO, MFA, internal system connections and sector-specific content are handled on request. Bring Your Own Key and an on-premises LLM gateway assume technical skills. A paid Priority Onboarding package covering kickoff, setup and team training is offered for those who prefer assistance.

Should you pick ASGS Copilot?
ASGS Copilot is a deliberately narrow product, and that is its strength. Rather than a general assistant asked to improvise on Swiss occupational safety law, it is a set of 18 agents built on named official material from 16 Swiss institutions, with a supervisor that picks the right one and answers that carry links back to SUVA, EKAS or Fedlex. For a safety officer, a KOPAS coordinator or an SME with no safety department, that traceability is worth more than fluency: every statement can be checked at source, and the vendor is clear that nothing it says is legally binding.
The publisher is equally easy to check. innoQ Research GmbH has been on the Zug commercial register since 2 May 2007, is the AI team of the INNOQ consultancy founded in 1998, publishes a complete legal notice with a telephone number, and designates an Article 27 EU representative. Hosting is claimed in the EU and Switzerland, conversation data is stated not to train external models, and Bring Your Own Key keeps model choice and billing on the customer's account.
The reservations are commercial rather than technical. No price is published for ASGS Copilot itself; the visible rate card belongs to the underlying INNOCHAT platform, and the ASGS offer is quoted after a consultation. The product is described as an early version, the trial link is temporary, the terms exclude any SLA, and support is limited to email and Discord during Swiss office hours. SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and EU AI Act alignment are asserted without a certificate number or an auditor.
Worth a serious look for Swiss employers who want a defensible first line of safety guidance, provided the scope, the contract and the conversation retention settings are pinned down before signing.
