Benly
AI media buying platform that unifies Meta, Google Ads and TikTok data into one dashboard, answers plain-English questions about campaigns, generates on-brand ad variations and indexes 50 million competitor ads. Web only, from $99 per month.
What is Benly?
Benly is a web-based media buying platform published by the French company Benly HLG SAS. It presents itself as an AI operating system for performance marketing, gathering into a single subscription four capabilities that advertising teams usually buy separately: campaign analytics, conversational data analysis, competitor ad research and creative production.
Five modules are named on the site. Smart Reports unifies spend and conversion data pulled from Meta, TikTok and Google Ads into cross-channel dashboards with real-time sync, customisable widgets and scheduled delivery by email, Slack or Teams. AI Copilot answers plain-English questions about the account, monitors campaigns around the clock and flags creative fatigue or scaling opportunities. Creative Studio turns a single source asset into dozens of on-brand variations, scores them, locks brand guidelines and exports formats ready for each platform. The Ad Library, also called Ad Vault, indexes more than 50 million competitor ads and supports brand tracking and collections. Creative Vision analyses video ads frame by frame, detecting objects, hooks and pacing. A sixth module, Brand X-Ray, appears in the changelog and in the learning guides.
Connections are made through read-only OAuth to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Google Analytics 4, the last of which is still marked as coming soon in the pricing comparison table. Historical data is imported automatically and the vendor advertises a setup of under thirty seconds. A June 2026 changelog entry announces AI agents able to operate across Reporting, Ad Spy, Creative Studio, Brand X-Ray and Copilot.
Accounts are organised as an Organization containing Workspaces, one per brand or client, which suits the agencies, D2C brands and in-house teams the site addresses. Dedicated pages target CMOs, media directors, media buyers, creative strategists and creative teams.
The homepage claims more than 500 marketing teams, over $2 billion in managed ad spend, a 4.9 out of 5 rating and 98% retention, although the same page elsewhere mentions 2,000 marketers. Pricing is flat rather than indexed on ad spend and starts at $99 per month. Be aware that the site publishes three incompatible pricing descriptions across its pricing page, its terms of use and its llms.txt file.

When to use Benly / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Benly is the right fit.
When to use Benly
- Performance marketing agencies running Meta, Google and TikTok budgets for several clients at once, who need one workspace per brand
- Direct-to-consumer brands whose growth depends on constantly refreshing paid social creative
- In-house media buyers who spend their days reconciling three ad platform dashboards by hand
- Creative strategists and art directors looking for competitor references and frame-by-frame analysis of what makes an ad work
- Small teams and freelancers who want ad intelligence, reporting and creative generation without paying for three separate subscriptions
When not to use Benly
- Advertisers whose spend sits mainly on LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat or X, since only Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and GA4 have real connectors
- Teams that need a mobile app or a documented public API, neither of which the site offers
- Anyone looking for a permanently free tool, because the cheapest plan is $99 per month and only the trial is free
- Buyers who need a fixed, unambiguous quote before signing, given that the site publishes three incompatible pricing models
- Organisations that require a hands-off autopilot, since the integrations page promises read-only access that never modifies campaigns
How to use Benly
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Start a free trial from app.benly.ai/signup, or book a 30-minute demo from the Book a Demo page
- Create your Organization, then add one Workspace per brand or client you manage
- Connect Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Google Analytics 4 through one-click OAuth, with read-only access
- Let Benly import your historical data automatically and normalise it across platforms
- Open Smart Reports and assemble a cross-channel dashboard from the customisable widgets
- Ask the AI Copilot questions about performance in plain English instead of writing queries
- Review the anomalies it surfaces, such as creative fatigue or a scaling opportunity on a given ad set
- Search the Ad Library for competitor references and save the ones worth reusing into collections
- Send a winning asset to Creative Studio, generate on-brand variations, review their scores and export them
- Schedule the reports you want repeated and have them delivered to email, Slack or Microsoft Teams
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Four tools that are normally bought separately, ad spy, analytics, creative generation and reporting, are bundled into one subscription
- Flat pricing with unlimited tracked ad spend, instead of the percentage of ad spend charged by several competitors
- Model training is off by default and the organisation-level opt-in is explicit and reversible at any time
- Processing runs on OVHcloud infrastructure in France, with a published sub-processor list and thirty days' notice before changes
- The DPA is built into the privacy policy, so there is nothing to negotiate before signing
- Read-only OAuth means a misconfigured connection cannot alter live campaigns, and disconnecting wipes the data immediately
- A dedicated account manager on every plan with a response time advertised under two hours, plus a free trial with no card required
Cons
- The site contradicts itself on price: the pricing page shows $99, $199 and $499 per month, the terms describe a single plan indexed on committed monthly ad spend, and llms.txt announces $49 per month
- The free trial is 7 days on every marketing page but 14 days in the terms of use and in llms.txt
- Seats are equally unclear: the pricing page sells 1, 3 or 10 users and charges $29 per extra user, while the comparison and agency pages promise unlimited seats and no per-user fees ever
- Only Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and GA4 have connectors, and GA4 is still marked as coming soon; LinkedIn is presented as a covered platform without any integration behind it
- There is no mobile app, no documented public API and no permanently free plan
- The SOC 2 claim on the integrations page comes with no report, certificate, audit date or trust page, and testimonials and client logos are generic and unattributable
- Creative Studio is billed per use on top of the subscription, so the plan price does not cap the real cost
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanently free plan. Access is paid by subscription, and the lowest published entry point on the pricing page is the Starter plan at 99.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with a 20% discount for annual prepayment. A free trial is available without a credit card, advertised as 7 days on the marketing pages and 14 days in the terms of use. Two further pricing descriptions coexist on the site: llms.txt states that pricing starts at 49 USD per month, and the terms of use describe a single plan indexed on committed monthly ad spend. Creative Studio is charged per use in addition to the subscription, and no refunds are offered.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Benly handles your data.
GDPR overview
Benly never uses the word GDPR in its own legal pages, so compliance has to be read from the machinery it describes rather than from a claim. That machinery is substantial: a Data Processing Agreement built into the privacy policy, explicit Controller and Processor roles, legal bases listed purpose by purpose, the full set of data subject rights, EU Standard Contractual Clauses of 2021 with UK and Swiss addenda for transfers, adequacy under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where available, assistance with data subject requests, breach notification and DPIAs, an annual audit right, and a published sub-processor list with thirty days' notice before changes. The publisher is established in France, so no Article 27 representative is required or named. Privacy contact: privacy@benly.ai. Both legal documents are dated 16 August 2025.
Who owns the data?
The terms of use state that the customer keeps all rights to Customer Data pulled from connected platforms and to the artifacts Benly generates from it, including reports, dashboards and insights. Benly receives only a licence to process that data in order to run the service. The vendor holds two distinct roles: it is Data Controller for the website, product telemetry, support and billing, and Data Processor for everything synced from Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, GA4 or Shopify. A Data Processing Agreement published inside the privacy policy governs the second role. Benly states it does not sell personal data, and shares it only with its listed sub-processors, with tools the customer connects, with advisors or authorities when law requires, and with a successor in a corporate transaction.
Reuse rights
Because the customer retains ownership of both the imported data and the generated artifacts, reports, dashboards, exports and creative variations can be reused freely, including in client deliverables, without asking Benly for permission. The licence granted to Benly runs the other way: it is limited to operating the service. Two limits are worth noting. First, the customer remains responsible for having lawfully collected the data on the connected advertising platforms and for respecting those platforms' own terms, which the agreement explicitly places outside Benly's control. Second, the acceptable use clause forbids reselling or sharing access beyond the plan, reverse-engineering the service and using it to build a competing product. Benly may also use the customer's name and logo as a reference unless the customer opts out by writing to privacy@benly.ai.

Hosting summary
Processing of Customer Data runs on OVHcloud infrastructure located in France, inside the EEA. Storage of account data, media and generated artifacts is handled by Amazon Web Services S3, either in the EEA or in the United States depending on the customer's region. Transactional email is sent through Brevo, hosted in the EEA. These three vendors are the declared Customer Data sub-processors. Two further providers are disclosed for transparency in Benly's Controller role: Plausible Analytics in the EEA for cookieless analytics, and Google and Microsoft Entra ID in the EU or the US for single sign-on. Transfers outside the EEA, the UK or Switzerland rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses of 2021 with the UK addendum, or on an adequacy decision where one applies. Encryption is TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AES-256 at rest. Consistently with the declared hosting, the website itself resolves to a French IP address on OVH's network in Dunkirk. The jurisdiction governing the contract is France.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Benly.
- The published price is not reliable on its own: the pricing page, the terms of use and llms.txt describe three incompatible models, so confirm your rate in writing before committing
- Included seats are contradictory too, between 1, 3 or 10 users with a $29 monthly charge per extra user on one page and unlimited seats with no per-user fees on another
- Terms of use exclude refunds entirely and forbid any price decrease during an annual commitment, so an overestimated commitment cannot be walked back
- Creative Studio is billed per use on top of the subscription, which means the plan price does not cap what a heavy creative month will actually cost
- Trusting AI recommendations without checking them is the classic risk here: creative fatigue alerts, scaling suggestions and generated variations are statistical outputs, not decisions, and delegating budget moves to them erodes the judgement a media buyer is paid for
- Connecting ad accounts hands a third party a full history of spend, conversions and creative performance; even with read-only access, the customer stays responsible for the lawfulness of that data under the platforms' own terms
- Marketing proof is thin: the SOC 2 claim has no report or audit date behind it, testimonials and client logos cannot be traced to real companies, and audience numbers vary within a single page
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. Benly is entirely web-based, with nothing to install and no agent to deploy. Ad platforms are connected through one-click OAuth and the vendor advertises a setup in under thirty seconds with no engineers required; historical data is imported automatically. Single sign-on with Google or Microsoft is available, and admin access requires multi-factor authentication. Queries are written in plain English rather than SQL. Disconnecting an integration takes one click from Settings and wipes the data immediately. The only real prerequisite is holding administrator rights on the ad accounts you intend to connect.

Should you pick Benly?
Benly assembles a genuinely coherent proposition: cross-platform reporting, a conversational analyst, an ad spy library of more than 50 million creatives and an AI generation studio, all in one subscription priced flat rather than as a percentage of ad spend. Its data posture is well above the average for this category. Processing runs on OVHcloud in France, the sub-processor list is published with thirty days' notice before changes, model training is off by default with a reversible opt-in, the DPA is built into the privacy policy, and deletion is immediate on request. For an agency or a D2C brand buying on Meta, Google and TikTok, the functional fit is real.
The reservation is serious and it is not about the product. Benly publishes three incompatible descriptions of its own pricing, two different trial lengths and two contradictory seat policies, depending on whether you read the pricing page, the terms of use, the comparison pages or its llms.txt file. It also promises read-only access on one page and automated campaign actions on another. None of these can be resolved from the outside.
Smaller flags accumulate in the same direction: a SOC 2 claim with no supporting document, generic testimonials and unattributable client logos, audience figures that vary within a single page, and a declared social preview image that returns a 404. The publisher is young, with a first web archive capture in June 2024 and no incorporation date published anywhere on the site.
The practical advice follows directly: evaluate the product during the free trial, which costs nothing, but obtain the applicable rate, the trial length and the number of included seats in writing before you subscribe.
