Botsify
Botsify is a white-label agentic AI platform that lets agencies and businesses build no-code chatbots and AI agents from plain-language prompts, then deploy them across websites, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, SMS and Slack under their own brand.
What is Botsify?
Botsify is an agentic AI platform for building voice and text agents from written prompts, and its current positioning is squarely white-label: agencies and consultants launch their own branded automation platform without writing software. Two offers sit side by side. The first is the platform itself, where a reseller builds agents and sells them onward under their own logo, domain and price list. The second is Done-For-You, where the Botsify team scopes, designs, trains and ships the agents instead.
The vendor draws a firm line between chatbots and agents. Traditional chatbots follow pre-set scripts; agents, it argues, reason, act and adapt like an employee, call APIs, remember context and take on whole workflows rather than answering isolated questions. In practice an agent is grounded in a knowledge base, uploaded documents and live web search, connected to client applications through native connectors and what Botsify calls Agentic Skills, then published to whichever channels matter: website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, SMS or Slack. Each channel has its own product page, and agents can also be packaged as MCPs for use inside Claude or ChatGPT.
The headline claims are ambitious. The site advertises more than 5,000 applications and integrations, up to 90% of repetitive work absorbed, production in roughly a week, and over 150,000 customers. Two named agency testimonials put figures on the reselling promise: 60,000 USD of annual recurring revenue built over two years with hotel chains and universities in South Africa, and 40,000 USD with local businesses and football clubs in the United Kingdom. Dedicated pages target retail, healthcare, e-commerce, real estate, hospitality, small businesses, insurance, recruitment and fintech, and agents are offered in seven languages beyond English.
The company has history. The domain was registered in April 2016 and the site's own structured data gives 2016 as the founding year. Botsify began as a Facebook Messenger chatbot builder and has since repositioned around agentic AI. That heritage still shows in places: parts of the legal documentation and several testimonial blocks have not kept pace with the new product.
What it does
- Create an AI agent by describing in plain language what it should do, with no code and no workflow to draw
- Deploy the same agent across a website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, SMS and Slack
- Ground agents in a knowledge base, uploaded documents and live web search
- Connect client applications such as Gmail, HubSpot, Slack, Shopify, Zapier and Salesforce through native connections and Agentic Skills
- Resell the whole platform under your own logo, domain and price list, with Botsify staying invisible to your clients
- Take over a conversation through Live Chat whenever an agent reaches its limits
- Package an agent as an MCP so it can be used inside other AI systems such as Claude or ChatGPT
When to use Botsify / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Botsify is the right fit.
When to use Botsify
- Digital agencies that want to resell AI agents and chatbots under their own brand, domain and price list
- Independent consultants and freelancers adding conversational automation to their service catalogue without hiring developers
- Customer support teams looking to deflect repetitive tickets and route requests across web, WhatsApp and social messaging
- Sales and growth teams that need agents to qualify inbound leads, update the CRM and handle follow-ups
- Businesses in retail, e-commerce, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, insurance, recruitment or fintech that would rather have an agent built for them end to end
When not to use Botsify
- DIY builders and hobbyists: the site states plainly that the platform is not designed for hobby projects or one-off experiments
- Students and anyone hunting for a free tool, since the published entry point is a paid plan at 149 USD per month
- Teams that need a native iOS or Android application, as no mobile app is listed anywhere on the site
- Organisations with strict procurement requirements: no security certification, no real data processing agreement and no Article 27 EU representative are published
- Buyers who need a guaranteed backup or a refund policy, both of which the terms and conditions explicitly decline
How to use Botsify
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Book the 30-minute agency automation strategy call from the demo page, giving your name, business email, phone number and role
- Receive free platform access by email, with unrestricted use of every feature for a limited period
- Sign in to the product at agentic.botsify.com and open the agent builder
- Describe the agent you want in plain language, with no workflow diagram and no code
- Attach a knowledge base, upload documents and switch on web search so the agent answers from your own material
- Connect the applications the agent must act in, through native connections, Agentic Skills or your own APIs
- Choose the channels to publish to and deploy once for all of them: website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, SMS or Slack
- Apply your own branding, domain and price list if you are reselling, then open a workspace per client
- Monitor conversations and step in through Live Chat whenever a human answer is needed
- For a Done-For-You project, hand over goals and KPIs instead, review the build, and let the Botsify team deploy and iterate over one to three weeks
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A complete white-label layer with reselling rights and free control over packaging and pricing, unusual at this entry price
- Agents are written in plain language, so neither code nor workflow building is required
- Bring-your-own-key unlocks unlimited credits, which caps the marginal cost of high-volume deployments
- Broad omnichannel coverage, with a dedicated product page and native deployment for each channel
- A Done-For-You track for buyers who would rather not learn the platform at all
- Public pricing on the Done-For-You plan, where several of the competitors the site names require a quote
- Human support is bundled in: personal onboarding, a dedicated success manager and priority partner support
Cons
- The site contradicts itself on price: the pricing page shows 149 USD a month while the homepage structured data still advertises a 49 USD Basic plan and a 199 USD Agency plan
- No permanent free plan is published, and the white-label agency offer carries no public price at all
- The terms decline all refunds and chargebacks, and fees remain due whether or not the service is used
- Botsify keeps no backup copy and gives no guarantee against data loss or destruction, with deletion possible without notice after termination
- Legal documentation is visibly generic and inconsistent: a shopping-cart mention in the privacy policy, a recurring misspelling of GDPR compliance, a misspelled /gdpr-complaince URL, and a minimum age given as 13 in one clause and over 18 in another
- No security certification, no genuine data processing agreement, no Article 27 EU representative, and third-party behavioural tracking explicitly permitted
- Placeholder lorem ipsum testimonials still sit on the demo page and the homepage, and there is no native mobile application
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. The published entry point is the Done-For-You Agent plan at 149 USD per month, or 1,490 USD per year on annual commitment. It includes 30,000 credits a month at one credit per message, 60 minutes of voice calls, unlimited credits when you supply your own LLM key, and one agent build valued at 100 USD per month. The white-label agency offer lists its inclusions but publishes no price and is quoted during a demo call. New accounts receive 100 free usage credits on registration, after which the saved payment method is charged automatically on a plan or usage basis. No refunds or chargebacks are accepted. Note that the site's structured data still advertises a 49 USD Basic plan and a 199 USD Agency plan that no longer appear on the pricing pages; the applicable rate should be confirmed before committing.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Botsify handles your data.
GDPR overview
Botsify publishes a dedicated GDPR page and states in its privacy policy that it is fully GDPR compliant. Some measures are concrete: the third-party services it relies on are named as Amazon AWS, DigitalOcean and Stripe; account holders can deactivate an account, erase their profile through a Delete Complete Information button, or request full deletion by email; a breach triggers notification within seven business days; Do Not Track signals are honoured. The gaps are just as concrete. The privacy policy points to a Data Protection Addendum, but the link leads back to the GDPR page rather than to an actual agreement. No EU representative under Article 27 is designated, no data protection officer is named, and standard contractual clauses are never mentioned. Governing law is the State of California.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms and conditions you keep ownership of your Submissions, meaning the communications and stored records Botsify receives. That ownership comes paired with a broad licence. Botsify may use and disclose your submissions to deliver the service, for its own internal business purposes, and where the law requires it. A further clause makes the vendor expressly and irrevocably authorised to use, analyse, modify, reproduce, publish, share and create derivative works from those submissions and from any analytics or statistics derived from them. A separate clause lets Botsify list your company name, extracted from your sign-up email address, among its clients in marketing material until you ask for its removal.
Reuse rights
Because customers keep ownership of their submissions, they can reuse their own conversations and records freely, without asking Botsify for permission. On the vendor's side, the privacy policy says registration details serve to administer contests, promotions, surveys and site features. The GDPR page adds that bot user data drives message delivery and the Live Chat display, while Botsify account data feeds email alerts and marketing material, with an unsubscribe option. The terms allow Botsify to gather anonymised usage information, use it to provide and improve its products and track geographic data, and share it with research organisations and other vendors. Personally identifiable information is not sold or transferred to outside parties without prior notice, but the privacy policy states that non-identifiable visitor information may be provided to third parties for marketing or advertising, and that third-party behavioural tracking is allowed. Do Not Track signals are honoured. The only documented opt-out covers marketing emails, not the use of data for model training.

Hosting summary
Botsify does not state where customer data is hosted. The terms say only that records designated for storage travel over the internet to a server operated by Botsify or an affiliate or partner, and then to a remote data centre described as the Storage Servers, with no country or region named. The GDPR page lists the third-party services in use, namely Amazon AWS, DigitalOcean and Stripe, but attaches no location to them. One indirect clue exists: the privacy policy links to a screenshot stored in an Amazon S3 bucket in the eu-west-1 region, which would place at least some assets in Ireland, though the site never presents this as a hosting commitment. The public site itself sits behind Cloudflare. On protection rather than location, Botsify states that data is held in AES-256 encrypted databases, that sensitive information is encrypted in transit over SSL, that regular malware scanning is performed, and that payment transactions run through a gateway provider and are neither stored nor processed on its own servers. It also states that it does not perform vulnerability scanning to PCI standards.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Botsify.
- Price uncertainty: the pricing page and the site's own structured data disagree, so confirm in writing what you will actually be billed before committing
- No refunds and no chargebacks, with fees due whether or not the service is used, so a wrong-sized plan cannot be unwound
- No guaranteed backup: the terms state that Botsify keeps no backup copy and gives no warranty against loss or destruction, so keep your own export of anything that matters
- Broad rights over your content: you keep ownership, but the vendor is irrevocably authorised to analyse, modify, publish and create derivative works from your submissions and from any data derived from them
- Thin GDPR footing for European deployments: no data processing agreement, no Article 27 representative, no data protection officer, and third-party behavioural tracking explicitly permitted
- Over-delegation: agents sold as replacing up to 90% of repetitive work will handle refunds, CRM updates and lead qualification, and mistakes in those flows reach customers directly, so keep human review on anything with a financial or contractual consequence
- Losing first-hand contact with customers: once most conversations are answered automatically, a team gradually stops hearing its customers in their own words, and the signal a support queue used to carry quietly fades
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. Agents are created by describing them in plain language, so neither coding nor workflow building is required, and the published plans bundle a personal onboarding session and a dedicated success manager. Connecting your own APIs is optional and reserved for advanced cases. Two practical points: the web widget is embedded as an iframe and capped by default at 25 concurrent connections, extendable on request, and the bring-your-own-key option assumes you can obtain and manage an LLM API key. The Done-For-You track removes the technical work entirely, leaving you to supply goals, review progress and approve the result.

Should you pick Botsify?
Botsify makes most sense for agencies and consultants who want to sell AI automation without building a platform of their own. The combination that sets it apart is specific: a full white-label layer with reselling rights, free control over packaging and pricing, a bring-your-own-key option that removes the credit ceiling, and a published entry price where several of the competitors it names require a quote. Add a Done-For-You track for buyers who would rather not touch the tooling at all, and the proposition is coherent.
The reservations are equally specific, and they sit in the paperwork rather than in the product. The legal documentation is visibly generic and has not kept pace: the privacy policy discusses shopping carts, the GDPR page rests on a list of third-party services that reads as though it were written in 2018, the acronym is misspelled throughout, and the terms give the minimum age as 13 in one clause and over 18 in another. There is no genuine data processing agreement, no Article 27 EU representative, no published security certification, no guaranteed backup and no refund of any kind. The site also contradicts itself on price, since its structured data still advertises plans the pricing pages no longer show.
None of that makes the platform a poor choice, but it does change what the demo call is for. Treat it as a verification exercise rather than a sales pitch: confirm the rate that actually applies to your volume, ask what the agency offer costs, establish what happens to client data on termination, and secure a written data processing commitment if you will handle European personal data. For an agency selling to small businesses, the answers may well be good enough.
