Canvora
Canvora turns writing you already have — a draft, a PDF, a link — into finished on-brand visuals: carousels, posts, stories, ads and decks across more than a hundred formats, generated natively in over 150 languages. Brand kits included.
What is Canvora?
Canvora is a web platform that converts writing you already have into finished, brand-consistent visuals. Instead of opening an empty canvas, you hand it raw material — pasted text, a prompt, a public URL, or a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file of up to 25 MB — and it reads that material, pulls out what is worth publishing, writes the headlines and builds the layout. What comes back is a batch: carousels, feed posts, stories, ad creative, infographics, quote cards, presentation decks, documents, email headers, video thumbnails and landing-page kits.
The site claims more than a hundred output formats, each carrying the dimensions and safe zones its platform expects; the format guide walks through them one network at a time, with ratios for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and Threads. The count is stated inconsistently, though — 100+, 80+ or 70+ depending on which page you read.
The claim Canvora leans on hardest is linguistic. Visuals are said to be generated natively in over 150 languages rather than translated onto a layout built for another one, with direction, alignment and punctuation handled and right-to-left scripts supported. A finished set can be localised into a further language as a single action rather than a rebuild.
Consistency is handled by brand kits: logo, colours and fonts ingested once, then applied automatically. The free and Starter plans allow one kit, Pro five, Business an unlimited number — which is what makes the tool workable for someone juggling a clinic, a restaurant group and a brokerage in the same week. Style presets go further, importing an aesthetic from an Instagram profile or from uploaded examples.
Nothing is final until you say so. Any visual can be revised with a typed instruction such as make the headline bigger for three credits, or opened in a full editor. Free-plan exports are watermarked at 2K; paid plans export watermark-free at 4K as PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, PPTX or a ZIP bundle.
Three routes in exist: the browser, a REST API, and a remote MCP server that exposes Canvora to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agent clients as sixteen callable tools. Both programmatic routes are available on every plan, the free one included.
What it does
- Turn pasted text, a URL, a PDF, a Word file or a slide deck into a full batch of finished visuals
- Apply a saved brand kit — logo, colours, fonts — automatically to every output
- Generate the same set natively in another language, right-to-left scripts included
- Produce more than a hundred formats with the correct dimensions and safe zones for each platform
- Rewrite a visual with a typed instruction, or fine-tune it pixel by pixel in the visual editor
- Export as PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, PPTX or a single organised ZIP bundle
- Drive the whole thing from Claude, ChatGPT or your own code through MCP or the REST API
When to use Canvora / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Canvora is the right fit.
When to use Canvora
- Freelance social media managers running several client brands and a weekly posting calendar at once
- Micro-agencies of one to three people with no designer on the payroll
- Teams publishing in more than one market — LATAM, Europe, MENA — who currently rebuild every layout for the second language
- Founders, coaches, consultants and writers who produce a lot of text and need visuals that keep up with it
- Developers and AI-agent builders who want a design step they can call over MCP or a REST endpoint
When not to use Canvora
- Designers who want a blank canvas and pixel-level control from the first click: Canvora always starts from existing content
- Anyone hoping to replace hand-customised template editing — the comparison page itself advises keeping Canva for that
- Teams that need scheduling and publishing built in; Canvora hands you files, it does not post them
- Mobile-first users, since there is no iOS or Android application, only the browser, the API and MCP clients
- Organisations with strict procurement rules: no DPA, no named hosting jurisdiction, no security certification and no postal address are published
How to use Canvora
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account with an email address or a Google sign-in; welcome credits are granted and no payment card is asked for
- Set up a brand kit first — logo, colours, fonts — so that everything generated afterwards comes out consistent
- Bring in your content: paste text, drop a public URL, or upload a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file of up to 25 MB
- Describe what you want in plain language in Chat Mode; the assistant proposes the formats and the visual style
- Check the confirmation panel, which shows the exact credit cost before anything is generated
- Wait roughly thirty to sixty seconds while the batch is produced
- Refine the result: type an instruction such as "make the headline bigger", or open the visual editor for pixel-level work
- Ask for the same set in another language if you publish in more than one market
- Download the files individually, or the whole batch as a ZIP; multi-slide sets also export to PDF or PPTX
- To automate, add the MCP connector at https://api.canvora.ai/mcp, or create a key under Integrations then Api Keys and post to the REST endpoint with an X-API-Key header
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Starts from content you already have rather than from a blank canvas
- The second language is a re-render, not a redesign: layout, alignment and right-to-left punctuation are handled
- Credit pricing is flat and legible — ten per visual, fifteen per slide, three per edit — and the cost is shown before you commit
- API and MCP access are included on every plan, the free one included
- You own the generated visuals outright, commercial use included
- Failed generations refund their credits automatically, partial failures included
- Low entry point at 19 USD a month, alongside a permanent free plan and subscription-free Campaign Packs for one-off bursts
Cons
- No postal address, no complete legal entity name and no identifiable officer anywhere on the site
- A very young service: the domain was registered on 04/12/2025 and the first Wayback capture dates from 07/01/2026
- No GDPR mention, no Data Processing Agreement, no Article 27 representative and no security certification
- The hosting location of customer data is never disclosed — only "secure servers" and unspecified international transfers
- A single contact channel, support@canvora.ai plus a web form; no telephone, no address
- Free-plan output is watermarked and capped at 2K, and its welcome credits are a one-off that never renews
- The site contradicts itself on format counts (100+, 80+, 70+) and on refunds (none per the terms, seven days per the support page)
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan is available at 0 USD: it grants a one-off allowance of welcome credits, requires no payment card, and produces watermarked output at 2K resolution. The lowest paid entry point is the Starter plan at 19.00 USD per month, which removes the watermark, unlocks 4K export and the visual editor, and includes 1,000 credits per month. Annual billing grants one month free. Credits may also be purchased outright through Campaign Packs, from 10.00 USD for 450 credits valid sixty days, with no subscription required.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Canvora handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no mention of the GDPR anywhere on the site: the acronym appears in neither the privacy policy, nor the terms, nor the HTML of any of the twenty pages collected. What the privacy policy does grant, in section 7, is a list of rights — access, correction, deletion, portability, opting out of marketing, withdrawing consent — prefaced by "depending on your location" and exercised by writing to support@canvora.ai. Section 10 acknowledges international transfers under "appropriate safeguards" that are never described. No Article 27 EU representative is named, no data protection officer is designated, and no Data Processing Agreement is published or offered on request. The service is not intended for anyone under 13. In short: several GDPR-shaped rights exist in substance, but the regulation is never invoked and none of its formal machinery is visible.
Who owns the data?
Under the Terms of Service you keep ownership of everything you upload — documents, images, logos and text — and grant Canvora only a limited licence to process, store and transform that material for the sole purpose of running the service. The visuals generated from it belong to you and may be used personally, commercially or for any other lawful purpose; the vendor explicitly disclaims ownership of generated output. What remains Canvora's is the platform itself: its design, features, AI models, code and branding. Generated work sits in your own account and, according to the MCP guide, is not shared with other users.
Reuse rights
Reuse needs no permission. Terms section 5.2 states that visuals generated from your content belong to you and may be used for personal, commercial or any lawful purpose, with Canvora claiming no ownership over them. The only practical restriction is commercial rather than legal: free-plan exports carry a watermark and are capped at 2K, while paid plans and any active Campaign Pack export watermark-free. On its own side, Canvora uses what you upload to run the service, process payments through Stripe, send transactional email through Brevo, deliver files through BunnyCDN, measure usage through PostHog, and to improve its platform and AI models. It states that it does not sell personal information and that it will not train its models on your content without your explicit consent.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The privacy policy says only that data is "stored on secure servers". No country, no region and no cloud provider is named, and no data-residency option is offered. The security measures listed are generic: encryption in transit over HTTPS and TLS, hashed passwords, access controls and regular security assessments. Section 10 acknowledges that information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, under "appropriate safeguards" that are never specified. The only third parties named anywhere are functional ones — Stripe for payments, Brevo for email, BunnyCDN for content delivery, PostHog for analytics — alongside unnamed AI processing providers. For reference, and beyond anything the vendor claims: the public site itself resolves to 216.24.57.1, an anycast node on Render's network geolocated to San Francisco in the United States. That describes where the marketing site is served from, not where customer content is stored. Anyone with a residency requirement will have to ask Canvora directly, because the published material does not answer the question.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Canvora.
- You cannot tell who you are contracting with: no legal entity form, no postal address and no named officer is published anywhere on the site
- The training clause is conditional — not without your explicit consent — and the site never documents how that consent would be requested, granted or withdrawn
- The terms allow Canvora to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without cause and without notice, and a client library built over months rests on that footing
- No governing law and no competent court are named in the terms, which makes any dispute expensive even to begin
- The refund rules contradict each other: the terms rule out refunds for unused credits and part-periods, while the support page mentions refunds within seven days
- Generated visuals can be wrong, and the terms put the burden of checking on you; a plausible-looking figure or claim ships far faster than it gets verified
- Delegating the whole content-to-visual step tends to erode the craft that made a feed recognisable in the first place, and when many brands lean on the same generator, on-brand and generic start to converge
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for ordinary use. Sign up with an email address or a Google account, optionally load a brand kit once, then paste content and describe what you want in plain language: nothing to install and, per the FAQ, no design vocabulary needed. Connecting an AI assistant is barely harder, being a three-field form — name, server URL, OAuth client ID — with nothing to host yourself. Only the REST API assumes a developer, and Canvora rates its own guide intermediate; in practice it amounts to creating a key and sending one POST request.

Should you pick Canvora?
Canvora occupies a narrow and genuinely useful slot: the step between a piece of content that already exists and the batch of visuals it should become. It does not try to be a design tool, and its own comparison page says as much — keep Canva for hand-built templates. What it automates is the part that eats a week: turning one blog post, offer or brief into a feed's worth of correctly sized, on-brand assets, then doing the same thing again in a second language without rebuilding a single layout. For anyone publishing across several markets, that second point is the whole argument.
The commercial design is unusually legible. Credits cost the same whether spent from the app, the API or an MCP client, the price of a job is shown before it runs, failures refund themselves, and programmatic access is not paywalled behind an enterprise tier. At 19 USD a month the entry point is low, and Campaign Packs cover a burst without committing to a subscription.
The reservations are about the company, not the product. Nothing on the site identifies the legal entity behind it: no postal address, no company form, no named officer, no founder traceable elsewhere. The domain dates from December 2025 and the first archived capture from January 2026, so there is little history to lean on. Legally, the GDPR is never named, no Data Processing Agreement exists, no EU representative is designated, the hosting jurisdiction is never disclosed, and the terms allow termination at any time without cause or notice.
The sensible reading: a strong fit for freelancers, small agencies and multilingual creators who can afford to try it on real work, and a difficult one for any organisation with procurement or data-residency requirements until the vendor publishes more about itself.
