What is CleverLAB?
CleverLAB is a Laboratory Information Management System published by PRYM-SOFT, a software company based in Kraków, Poland. It organises the working life of a testing laboratory around the sample: an order arrives, samples are registered and tracked through each analysis, results are verified, and a report is issued. The system is presented as aligned with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02, the accreditation standard for testing and calibration laboratories, and its construction edition also addresses EN 206 for concrete.
Its distinguishing claim is that it is no-code. New modules, windows, forms and documents can be added by configuration rather than programming, and the vendor advertises this as cutting deployment time by around 90% and costs by around 75%. This is also where artificial intelligence enters the product: the site states that modules, forms and documents can be generated from an AI prompt, and that an AI assistant helps operators enter data.
The system is organised into nine modules covering laboratory technicians, customers, test methods, equipment, internal departments, controlling, integration, personnel and reporting. Around them sit a real-time dashboard, configurable reports, exports to PDF, Excel and CSV, uncertainty calculation with configurable formulas and automatic rounding, dual verification, electronic signatures, reagent inventory with expiry tracking, role-based access control and a full audit trail.
Three editions target different disciplines. The physicochemical edition handles environmental samples, industrial materials, chemicals and workplace exposure assessment. The microbiology edition adds food products, cosmetics and biological materials, and runs two laboratories side by side. The construction edition covers raw materials, concrete mix design and conformity assessment, and is supported by a mobile application that works offline for field sampling.
Laboratories can also open a portal where their own customers order test packages and retrieve results. The vendor claims the platform scales to 10,000 users, 1,000 of them concurrent. Access is through a web browser on the subscription tiers, while the Custom tier is deployed on the laboratory's own network.

GDPR overview
There is no GDPR statement of any kind on the CleverLAB site. The publisher is established in the European Union, at Kraków in Poland, and is registered under KRS 0000783993 and NIP 9452227362, so the Regulation applies to it directly and an Article 27 representative is not required. Beyond that, nothing is documented: no privacy policy, no data processing agreement, no named data protection officer, no GDPR contact address and no list of subprocessors. The GDPR appears on the site only as a subject of knowledge-base articles about laboratory data security, alongside ISO 27001, which is editorial content and not a compliance claim about the product itself.
Who owns the data?
No answer can be given from the vendor's own documents. As of 31 August 2026 the CleverLAB site publishes no terms of service, no privacy policy and no legal notice, and targeted probes for the usual Polish and English document paths all returned 404. Nothing therefore states who owns the data entered into the system, what PRYM-SOFT may do with it, or which third parties may access it. The site does describe technical safeguards, an audit trail, role-based access control, archiving and backups, but these are product features rather than contractual commitments. Prospective customers should require these terms in writing before committing, particularly for the subscription tiers, where the vendor hosts the data.
Reuse rights
The site publishes no terms of service, so nothing defines whether and how a customer may reuse the data held in the system. In practice the product documents export routes, since results can be exported to PDF, Excel and CSV or pushed to other systems through its integration interfaces, and the Custom tier can be deployed on the laboratory's own network, which leaves the data physically in the customer's hands. These are functional capabilities, not licensing terms. A separate section of the site's llms.txt file headed Contact for AI Training Data concerns reuse of the site's editorial content by third parties and says nothing about laboratory data.

The site publishes no information about where customer data is hosted. There is no privacy policy, no trust or security page and no list of subprocessors, so no jurisdiction is stated and no hosting provider is named. Two different arrangements can be inferred from the price list. The Small and Medium tiers are described as internet, subscription-based versions, which implies vendor-side hosting, while the Custom tier is described as a dedicated deployment on the laboratory's own network, which would leave the data under the customer's control. The website itself is served from Poland, on an address belonging to the Polish provider cyber_Folks in Poznań, but this describes only the marketing site and says nothing about where laboratory data would reside. Any laboratory handling regulated or client-confidential results should obtain the hosting location, the subprocessor list and a data processing agreement in writing before committing.

CleverLAB is a focused, credible product in a narrow market. It is built by people who clearly understand accredited laboratory work: the vocabulary is right, the modules map onto how a laboratory actually runs, and the three discipline-specific editions go well beyond generic sample tracking. Publishing an itemised price list is unusual in the LIMS market and works in the vendor's favour, as does the option to deploy the Custom tier on the laboratory's own network.
The reservations are about documentation rather than the software. At the time of review the site published no terms of service, no privacy policy and no legal notice, which means nothing on record establishes who owns the data, how long it is kept, where it is hosted, or which third parties process it. For a system that would hold a laboratory's entire body of accredited results, that is a material gap, and it matters most on the subscription tiers, where the vendor does the hosting.
