ContentIn
ContentIn is an AI ghostwriter for LinkedIn that learns your voice from your profile and your past posts, then drafts, schedules and analyses a full week of content in one sitting. Built for founders, coaches and consultants.
What is ContentIn?
ContentIn is a LinkedIn-only content platform built around an AI ghostwriter, published by ContentIn LLC, a Delaware company whose site has been online since November 2022. Its pitch is that most people do not have a writing problem but a rhythm problem, and that a generic chatbot makes it worse by starting from a blank context every session.
Onboarding is deliberately short. You paste the URL of your public LinkedIn profile and the tool reads your profile and your published posts to learn what it calls your Voice DNA — sentence length, vocabulary, how you tend to open a post. A ten-minute interview then fills a knowledge base with what you are building, who you are talking to and the stories only you have; you can keep adding documents, links and voice notes afterwards. From there you dump the raw material of your week and get back a full week of drafts in your own register. The vendor claims roughly twenty minutes from profile to a scheduled week, and that most users change less than 10% of a draft.
The distinctive claim is compounding rather than drift: every edit you make and every post you publish is treated as training signal, so the drafts are meant to sharpen week after week instead of resetting.
Around the ghostwriter sits the rest of the loop in one tab — over a thousand post templates sorted by goal, format and industry, an endless idea generator and an idea manager, ideas extracted from any URL, a scheduler for your profile and your company pages, carousels, AI images and quote cards, scheduled first comments, AI comments based on your ICP, post and comment analytics, a weekly AI report and content repurposing. The Pro plan adds a Telegram bot and a remote, key-based LinkedIn MCP server exposing eight tools to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP client, with a confirmation step before anything is published.
Account safety is a stated design choice: no Chrome extension, no cookie-based authentication and no LinkedIn password. Several free tools — a post generator, carousel generator, humanizer, optimizer and post preview — run without an account at all.
What it does
- Learn your writing voice from your LinkedIn profile and your past posts
- Draft a full week of LinkedIn posts from raw notes and half-formed thoughts
- Schedule posts weeks ahead for your personal profile and your company pages
- Generate post ideas from your topics, a saved note or any URL you paste
- Produce carousels, AI images and quote cards without leaving the draft
- Report on post, comment and lead analytics, and feed the results back into the model
- Drive the whole workflow from Telegram or from an MCP client such as Claude or Cursor
When to use ContentIn / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if ContentIn is the right fit.
When to use ContentIn
- Founders who treat LinkedIn as a lead source but never find the evening to write
- Solopreneurs, coaches and consultants selling through a personal brand
- Ghostwriters and LinkedIn agencies running several client profiles from one workspace
- Professionals with an existing posting history the model can learn a voice from
- Teams who want ideas, drafting, scheduling and analytics in a single tool rather than five
When not to use ContentIn
- Anyone who needs more than LinkedIn: there is no multi-network publishing here
- Sales teams wanting outreach automation, connection requests or DM sequences
- Brand-new accounts with almost nothing published, since the voice is learned from past posts
- Buyers who require an officially certified LinkedIn API integration
- Organisations whose procurement needs published terms of service, a DPA or a named EU representative
How to use ContentIn
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Try the free LinkedIn post generator first if you want to see the output before signing up — no login required
- Start the 7-day free trial from the signup page; no credit card is asked for
- Paste the URL of your public LinkedIn profile so the model can read your profile and past posts
- Let it learn your Voice DNA before you write anything yourself
- Sit the ten-minute interview that fills your knowledge base
- Add documents, links and voice notes to deepen the knowledge base whenever you like
- Dump what happened this week — wins, client stories, half-formed opinions — and generate a week of drafts
- Edit the drafts, attach images, carousels or a quote card, and queue a first comment if you need one
- Place the posts on the calendar for your profile or, on Pro, for a company page
- On Pro, create an MCP key and paste one configuration line into Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT to work from the chat
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Starts from your existing profile and posts, so the first draft already sounds close to you
- Improves with use instead of resetting: edits and published posts are fed back as training signal
- Covers the whole loop — ideas, drafting, scheduling, analytics — in one tool
- Deliberate account safety: no Chrome extension, no cookie scraping, no LinkedIn password
- Far cheaper than the human ghostwriting it benchmarks itself against
- 7-day free trial with no card required, plus a 30-day refund on the first payment
- Free standalone tools usable without an account, and an MCP server included in Pro
Cons
- LinkedIn only — no other network, and no outreach, CRM or messaging automation
- No terms of service published anywhere on the marketing site, for a paid service
- No dedicated pricing page: the grid sits in a homepage section with a JavaScript billing toggle
- Advertised prices disagree between pages — Growth at $31 or $39, Pro at $48 or $59, and a $19 entry point mentioned only on a comparison page
- AI output on the Growth plan is capped; genuinely unlimited use requires Pro
- Thin data governance: no DPA, no Article 27 EU representative, no published minimum age
- Heavy third-party tracking, including advertising pixels and session replay

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how ContentIn handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR is addressed but not claimed. The iubenda privacy policy carries a dedicated section on user rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, listing withdrawal of consent, objection, access, rectification, restriction, erasure, portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests go to the controller through the contact details in the document — in practice support@contentin.io — are free of charge and answered within one month. Legal bases are enumerated: consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, public interest and legitimate interest. Beyond that the coverage is thin: the site nowhere states that it is GDPR compliant, no Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, and no data processing agreement is published or announced. Cross-border transfers are acknowledged in general terms only.
Who owns the data?
The data controller is ContentIn LLC, 1207 Delaware Ave, Wilmington, DE 19806, reachable at support@contentin.io. There is no published terms of service, so ownership is described only in the privacy policy hosted by iubenda and last updated on 29 July 2026. That policy makes the user responsible for any third-party personal data they publish through the application, and lists the processors that may access it: LinkedIn, Google, Meta, PostHog, Hotjar, Netlify, DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services. LinkedIn access runs through OAuth and requires explicit authorisation; the vendor states your LinkedIn password is never handed over, and that publishing always waits for your confirmation.
Reuse rights
No terms of service are published, so there is no contractual statement on what a user may do with the output. In practice the drafts are yours to edit and publish under your own name: every draft is presented as a starting point, the vendor reports most users change under 10% of it, and the two actions that reach an audience — publishing and scheduling — show the exact text and wait for your confirmation. In the other direction, your material feeds the product: the profile URL you paste, the posts you already published, the ten-minute interview, any documents, links and voice notes you add, plus every edit you make and every post that ships, are used as training signal for a personal model and stored in a knowledge base. The privacy policy separately allows data use for analytics, advertising, remarketing, A/B testing and session recording.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Hosting is split across jurisdictions and disclosed in the privacy policy rather than on a dedicated trust page. For hosting and backend infrastructure the policy names Netlify in the United States, and DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services in Germany. Other processors sit elsewhere: PostHog for product analytics, session replay, feature flags and surveys in the United States; Hotjar for heat maps and recordings in Malta; Google Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, Meta Events Manager and Meta pixel in Ireland; LinkedIn OAuth, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and LinkedIn retargeting in the United States, with LinkedIn Ads and lookalike audiences in Ireland. The controller is ContentIn LLC in Wilmington, Delaware. The policy adds that data is processed at the controller's operating offices and anywhere the parties involved are located, and that transfers outside the user's own country may occur depending on where they are. The public site itself is served behind Cloudflare. No single hosting jurisdiction is guaranteed, and no EU-only option is offered.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ContentIn.
- Publishing under your own name what a model wrote: review every draft, because the reputational risk is yours alone
- Outsourcing the thinking, not just the typing — the tool is only as good as the substance you bring, and it is easy to slide into posting for the sake of the rhythm
- Voice erosion: a model trained on your past writing optimises for what already worked, which can flatten how you sound over time
- No terms of service are published, so the contractual basis of a paid subscription is not available to read before you buy
- Your stories, offers, client anecdotes and uploaded documents accumulate in a knowledge base with no documented training opt-out and no published retention period
- Pricing shown on the site is inconsistent across pages: check the amount actually charged at checkout and before the trial ends
- Heavy third-party tracking on the site, including advertising pixels and session recording, which is worth reviewing if you are sensitive to profiling
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. ContentIn is a web application with nothing to install and no browser extension. Setup is pasting the URL of your public LinkedIn profile, then sitting a guided ten-minute interview; the vendor claims a first post in about ten minutes and a scheduled week in roughly twenty. No writing skill is assumed. The free tools can be tried without creating an account at all. The only step with any technical flavour is the optional MCP server on Pro: create a key, paste one configuration line into Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT, which the vendor times at about two minutes.

Should you pick ContentIn?
ContentIn is a narrow tool that knows exactly how narrow it is. It does one platform, LinkedIn, and one job on it: turning the raw material of your week into posts that sound like you, then getting them onto a calendar. The design idea worth taking seriously is the feedback loop — learning a voice from posts you have already published, then treating every edit and every publication as training signal, rather than asking you to re-brief a chatbot from scratch each session. For a founder or consultant who already has a posting history and loses to the blank page rather than to a lack of ideas, that is a genuinely useful shape, and the price sits far below the human ghostwriting it benchmarks against.
The reservations are mostly about the company rather than the product. There is no terms of service anywhere on the marketing site, which is unusual for a paid subscription. There is no dedicated pricing page either, and the figures that do exist contradict each other: the homepage grid opens at Growth, the site's own FAQ quotes a different amount for the same plan, and a comparison page advertises an entry point that the grid never shows. Data governance is minimal — a generated privacy policy, no processing agreement, no EU representative, no documented way to keep your content out of model training — while the site itself carries a heavy load of advertising pixels and session replay.
None of that is disqualifying for an individual on a seven-day trial with a refund window. It would matter a great deal to anyone buying on behalf of an organisation. Try it on the trial, confirm the price you are actually charged, and read the privacy policy before you feed it your client stories.
