Dealism
Dealism is an AI sales and customer agent for small businesses. It answers questions, qualifies leads and recommends products across WhatsApp, Instagram and live chat, learning your tone from conversations you have already had, with no code required.
What is Dealism?
Dealism is a software-as-a-service platform that places AI sales agents on the messaging channels small businesses already use. It is published by DEALISM PTE. LTD., a Singapore company registered under UEN 202527760R and founded by Leo Huan, previously chief operating officer of Youzan.
The product is built in two layers. AI Frontline Agents hold the conversations: they answer customers on personal and Business WhatsApp accounts, on the WhatsApp Business API, in Instagram direct messages and through a live chat widget embedded on the merchant's own website. Above them sits DealOnca, presented as an AI sales director, which creates the agents, trains them in plain language, turns uploaded files into a structured knowledge base, summarises every customer and conversation, and keeps follow-ups moving.
Setting an agent up involves neither code nor visual workflows. WhatsApp is paired with a QR code, and standard personal or business accounts need no Meta verification. Dealism generates a first version of the agent from the merchant's website, store or connected account, then trains it on existing chat history, sales playbooks and the conversations that already converted, so the agent sells in the owner's own voice. Documents in PDF, Excel, Word or image format feed the knowledge base, and a playground lets the merchant test answers before anything goes live.
In production the agents run in Autopilot, sending replies themselves, or in Copilot, proposing answers that a human approves. Handoff rules bring a person back in with the full context intact. Instagram comments can be converted into direct messages, an automation the company advertises as free. Agent creation is unlimited, so a merchant can run a whole team of agents.
Billing runs on credits: 1,000 a month on Starter, 2,000 on Pro and a negotiated volume on Business, with one-off top-ups when a quota runs out. Dealism positions itself against Meta Business AI, Manychat and BotConversa, and presents itself as a replacement for a CRM, a WhatsApp auto-responder and a marketing automation tool. The site claims more than 60,000 business owners have used it and support for over 300 languages. An Android application is published on Google Play; there is no iOS app and no public API.

When to use Dealism / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Dealism is the right fit.
When to use Dealism
- Small and medium businesses that sell through WhatsApp or Instagram direct messages rather than a checkout funnel
- Solo merchants and creators who lose sales simply because they cannot answer messages fast enough
- Online stores and cross-border e-commerce sellers handling repetitive product, stock and shipping questions
- Local businesses with heavy inbound chat, such as beauty clinics, medspas, gyms, restaurants and delivery services
- Course sellers, tutors and coaches who qualify and enrol students entirely by messaging
When not to use Dealism
- Teams that need to plug the tool into their own systems: there is no public API and no developer documentation
- Companies expecting a marketplace of connectors, since nothing outside WhatsApp, Instagram, live chat and Stripe is offered
- Businesses that sell by email, SMS or telephone, none of which Dealism covers
- European organisations with strict GDPR procurement rules, as no DPA, no Article 27 representative and no compliance claim exist
- Anyone looking for a permanently free tool, because the free trial is followed by a compulsory paid subscription
How to use Dealism
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account and meet DealOnca, the assistant that will build and train your agents
- Connect a channel: pair WhatsApp with a QR code, link an Instagram professional account, or embed the live chat widget on your site
- Let Dealism generate a first agent from your website, your store or the account you connected
- Train the agent in one click on your existing chat history, your sales playbooks and your best-performing conversations
- Upload your business files so DealOnca turns them into a structured, agent-ready knowledge base
- Describe in plain language what the agent should do; no prompts, no code, no flow builder
- Test the agent in the playground and adjust its tone and knowledge before going live
- Choose Autopilot for automatic sending or Copilot for human-approved replies, and set your handoff rules
- Deploy on live conversations, then monitor the real-time dashboard, the customer summaries and the automated follow-ups
- Use the online credits calculator to size your plan against your real conversation volume
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuinely quick to set up: no code, no visual workflows, and WhatsApp pairing by QR code without Meta verification
- Three messaging channels in a single workspace, where Meta Business AI stays inside Meta-owned channels
- Low entry price at 19.90 USD per month, with a free trial that asks for no credit card
- The agent is trained on chat history you already own, so very little manual configuration is needed
- Automatic customer summaries and built-in follow-ups, which the competitors named on the site do not offer
- Unusually detailed and dated legal documents, including a named list of the third parties that process data
- Credible security posture on paper: TLS 1.2+, AES-256 at rest, pseudonymised sensitive data, MFA and role-based access
Cons
- No public API and no developer documentation, so nothing can be integrated with an existing information system
- No third-party integrations beyond the native channels: no CRM, no e-commerce platform, no automation connector
- No permanent free plan, and the Business tier price is not published
- Credit-based pricing makes the real monthly cost hard to predict without running the vendor's calculator
- Nothing for European buyers: no GDPR claim, no DPA and no Article 27 representative
- Californian governing law, individual JAMS arbitration in San Francisco, a class action waiver, and liability capped at the higher of twelve months of fees or 100 USD
- Compliance with messaging law and the platforms themselves sits entirely with the customer, including any WhatsApp or Instagram ban

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Dealism handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no mention of GDPR compliance anywhere on the site or in the English legal documents, and this should be stated plainly. The English privacy policy is explicitly American: it is versioned 2026.04-US-LAUNCH, built on the CCPA and CPRA, CalOPPA and the California Shine the Light law, and it declares that it covers people interacting with Dealism in the United States. A separate Brazilian version addresses the LGPD. The single occurrence of the word GDPR in the whole corpus is an obligation imposed on the customer in the Brazilian terms, not a commitment by the publisher. No Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, and no Data Processing Agreement is published or offered on request. The policy does acknowledge that data may be processed in the EEA, but offers no European legal framework.
Who owns the data?
The customer keeps every right in the content they own. Clause 8.3 of the terms grants Dealism only a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, process and display that content, and strictly to run the service, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Roles are then split: for the data of the merchant's own contacts, the merchant is the business and Dealism acts as a service provider under Californian law, barred from selling, sharing or combining that data, with those commitments surviving the subscription. For account, billing, support and usage data, Dealism itself is the business. Contact privacy@dealism.ai for privacy matters and legal@dealism.ai for legal ones.
Reuse rights
The merchant may reuse their own data freely and does not have to ask permission. Data portability is explicit: personal information is returned in a structured, machine-readable format, JSON or CSV. Content stored inside Dealism can also be exported or migrated on written request, where technically feasible, although the company does not commit to moving it to any particular replacement platform. Account deletion can be requested from within the product or by writing to support@dealism.ai, after which data is erased or de-identified within 45 days, apart from records the law requires to be kept. In return the merchant warrants they hold every right, consent and authorisation covering the content and the contact data they upload, and they remain responsible for how that data is used.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Dealism publishes no trust or security page and no hosting region list, so the picture has to be assembled from the privacy policy. Section 17 states that, because the company is headquartered in Singapore and relies on global service providers, personal information may be processed outside the United States, including in Singapore, the EEA and other jurisdictions. The infrastructure providers are named in section 9: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Cloudflare, alongside Stripe, Mixpanel, Customer.io, Intercom, OpenAI and Anthropic. There is no data residency commitment and no region the customer can choose. The safeguards offered are contractual clauses with providers, with Dealism remaining accountable under the CCPA and CPRA. Resolving the domain returns an address in Amsterdam on Amazon's network, but that address is anycast, so it identifies a content delivery node rather than where data actually lives. A European buyer should treat the hosting location as undetermined and ask for it in writing.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Dealism.
- Legal exposure is transferred to you: consent under the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and the Californian bot-disclosure law is your responsibility, with damages of 500 to 1,500 USD per violation
- You must keep proof of consent for at least four years, produce it within five working days on request, and accept an annual compliance audit
- Dealism can suspend your account without notice on an internal spam score, a complaint or a carrier block, with no refund for the suspended period
- A WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta or Stripe ban is explicitly your risk, whatever the cause, including bans triggered by Autopilot messages
- Letting an agent sell on Autopilot erodes your own feel for objections and pricing, and a wrong answer sent automatically still commits you commercially
- Customers may not realise they are talking to a machine unless you configure the disclosure yourself, which is a trust risk as much as a legal one
- Liability is capped at the higher of twelve months of fees or 100 USD, disputes go to individual arbitration, and your indemnity towards Dealism is uncapped
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. There is no code to write, no visual workflow to build and no helpdesk to configure. WhatsApp is paired with a QR code and standard personal or business accounts need no Meta verification. Dealism pre-builds the agent from your website, store or connected account, and training on your chat history is advertised as a single click. A playground lets you test answers before going live, and an online guide covers each step. The one genuinely technical task, custom WhatsApp Business API setup, belongs to the Business plan and comes with a dedicated account manager.

Should you pick Dealism?
Dealism answers a real and narrow problem: small merchants who sell in messaging apps lose deals because nobody replies fast enough. Its response is coherent. Setup genuinely avoids code and flow builders, WhatsApp pairs with a QR code, and the agent is trained on chat history the merchant already owns rather than on prompts they have to learn. Bringing WhatsApp, Instagram and live chat into one workspace, with automatic customer summaries and built-in follow-ups, is more than the Meta-only or flow-based tools the company compares itself with. At 19.90 USD a month with a card-free trial, the cost of finding out is low.
The reservations are just as concrete. There is no public API and no connector beyond the native channels, so the tool sits beside an existing stack rather than inside it. Credit-based billing makes the real monthly cost hard to forecast, and the Business tier price is not published. Most importantly for a European buyer, nothing addresses the GDPR: the privacy policy is written for Californian law, there is no Data Processing Agreement, no Article 27 representative and no compliance claim at all. The terms are equally one-sided, placing responsibility for messaging law and for any WhatsApp or Instagram ban squarely on the customer, capping the vendor's liability at the higher of twelve months of fees or 100 USD, and routing disputes to individual arbitration in San Francisco.
Dealism is therefore worth a trial for a small business selling through WhatsApp or Instagram, particularly in Latin America where the product is clearly localised. Companies bound by European data protection rules, or those needing the tool to talk to their own systems, should wait. The company is also very young, with its domain registered in May 2025.
