What is Dorik?
Dorik is a website building platform published by Dorik, Inc. It offers three ways into a project: describe a business in one sentence and let the AI generate a site, start from one of 110+ templates, or begin with a blank page. On the AI route the platform produces layout, copy and images in a single pass, and the vendor claims a full multi-page site in under 60 seconds; any page, or a single section, can be regenerated in one click. Dorik names GPT-4 for text and DALL-E for images. An AI Quick Style feature generates colour palettes and font pairings that can be regenerated, and a version history keeps every AI-generated iteration for one-click restoration.
Beyond generation, Dorik is a conventional visual builder: a real-time WYSIWYG editor, grid layouts, 250+ UI blocks and 60+ elements including sliders, accordions, tabs, popups, countdowns and payment buttons. Desktop, tablet and mobile views are edited separately, with per-device visibility. Content sits in a built-in CMS offering custom collections, 11 field types, dynamic templates, filters and sorting, alongside an integrated blog with a rich editor, scheduling, multiple authors, categories and imports from WordPress, Ghost, Medium and Substack.
SEO is handled natively, with per-page meta, redirects, automatic sitemaps, custom schema, robots.txt control and LLMs.txt editing. Dorik ships its own cookieless analytics, which it presents as GDPR compliant, while Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Hotjar can be attached.
For agencies, white-labelling covers removal of Dorik branding, an agency-branded client dashboard, client billing through Stripe and white-label documentation. A public API, which Dorik describes as currently in beta, exposes CRUD operations on CMS collections and SEO field updates with revocable keys, and is limited to the Business and Agency plans. Sites can be exported as unminified HTML, CSS and JavaScript together with their media.
Hosting is included: AWS in US East (Ohio) and DigitalOcean in US New York, Amazon S3 storage in the United States, BunnyCDN delivery and free Let's Encrypt SSL. Dorik's own marketing site is built with Dorik, and its pricing page positions the product on price against Wix, Webflow and Squarespace.

GDPR overview
The privacy policy, effective 2 July 2026, contains a dedicated section on data protection rights under the GDPR, listing access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent, routing requests to support@dorik.com and recalling the right to complain to a supervisory authority; a privacy team is reachable at privacy@dorik.com. A public Data Processing Addendum applies automatically to customers processing EEA, UK or Swiss data and relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (modules 1, 2 and 3), the UK IDTA and Swiss provisions, naming Ireland's Data Protection Commissioner as supervisory authority. Dorik also claims its built-in analytics is GDPR compliant and cookieless. Two gaps remain: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework is invoked only when Dorik is certified. Data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Who owns the data?
Dorik's terms state that users keep any and all rights to the content they submit, post or display through the Service, and are responsible for protecting those rights. Publishing grants Dorik a licence to use, modify, reproduce and distribute that content on the Service, and Dorik reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and edit it. Templates and UI blocks remain Dorik's property: exported code may be used personally and commercially but not recomposed into a competing service. Under the Data Processing Addendum, Dorik is processor for Customer Personal Information and controller for Customer Relationship Data, and its privacy policy states it does not share a customer's client data with third parties.
Reuse rights
Dorik's privacy policy lists the data it collects: email address, first and last name, postal address, state or province, ZIP code and city, plus cookies and usage data such as IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, visit date and duration, and device identifiers. The stated purposes are providing and maintaining the service, support, identity verification, analysis, incident detection, billing, notifications and marketing about similar products; marketing emails can be declined through an unsubscribe link. Cookies are used for session, preference, security and advertising purposes, and the policy says Do Not Track signals are honoured, in which case no tracking, cookies or advertising are applied. Third-party analytics named are Google Analytics, Cloudflare analytics and Mixpanel, with a documented Mixpanel opt-out, and remarketing runs through Google Ads, Twitter and Facebook. No card details are stored, payments being processed by Paddle under PCI-DSS. On the user's own side, the site and its media can be exported as unminified HTML, CSS and JavaScript and reused for personal and commercial projects without further permission, provided the exported assets are not reassembled into a competing website-building service. Nothing on the site states whether customer data is used to train AI models.
