What is Embeddable?
Embeddable is a no-code SaaS platform published by Common Ninja Ltd., an Israeli company, that turns a plain-English description into a working component. Three families of deliverables come out of it: embeddable widgets, landing pages and AI agents, the last still in beta.
The widgets cover the everyday conversion toolkit, from forms, calculators and quizzes to popups, countdown timers, comparison tables, audio players, review grids and announcement bars. Landing pages are pre-rendered as static HTML so search engines index them immediately, with editable meta tags and Open Graph data and a custom domain secured by automatic SSL. AI agents connect to Google services through OAuth, run on a schedule or on demand and deliver their output by email or webhook; documented uses include SEO audits, email reports and data monitoring.
Everything ships through one script tag, with no iframes and no zip files. The platform claims compatibility with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Notion, Canva, Lovable and Bolt as well as any HTML site, and the documentation carries 45 platform-specific installation guides. Around the builder sit real-time analytics, A/B testing, a database generated automatically for every data-collecting component, a lightweight CRM, a media manager and version history with restore. An auto-generated dynamic editor lets you change content and styling afterwards without consuming tokens, tokens being the usage credits that AI generation and automation spend.
Twenty-six integrations are documented, among them Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Stripe, HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Sheets and Airtable. A Developer API exposes Widgets, Agents and Jobs endpoints for teams that would rather drive the platform programmatically.
The product did not appear from nowhere. It comes from the Common Ninja team, ten-plus years of building 200+ pre-built widgets for 500,000+ businesses, and the site documents 44 sector use cases, from real estate and healthcare to restaurants and nonprofits. The homepage claims 10,000+ marketers already use it.
The scope is deliberately narrow, and stated as such: Embeddable is not a full-stack website builder. It assumes you already have a site and want to add capability to it rather than start again.

GDPR overview
GDPR compliance here is documented rather than merely claimed. A Data Processing Agreement, last updated June 2025, is published and binding, and covers the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP and the CCPA. It links the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021) in both controller-to-processor and processor-to-processor versions, with Annex III for UK transfers. Common Ninja Ltd. is headquartered in Israel, a jurisdiction the European Commission and the UK Secretary of State consider to offer an adequate level of protection. Data subjects may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability rights and complain to a supervisory authority, via privacy@embeddable.co. Customers may audit the processor on 14 days' written notice, once every twelve months, and the subprocessor list is public and versioned. Two gaps: no Article 27 EU representative is designated and no DPO is named.
Who owns the data?
Common Ninja Ltd. describes itself as the data controller of its own user, prospect and customer data, and as the data processor of the end-user information it receives through the Embeddable API and through the widgets its customers publish. For that visitor data, the customer stays responsible. Customers keep their customer data, but grant the publisher and its subprocessors an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to use it for the purpose of delivering the service, and warrant that it infringes no law and no third-party right. Every data-collecting component gets an automatically generated database, exportable to CSV in one click.
Reuse rights
Under the Data Processing Agreement (last updated June 2025), Common Ninja processes end-user information only on the customer's documented instructions. Beyond that, personal data may be shared with its subprocessors and with other companies in the Common Ninja group, transferred in the context of a merger or acquisition, and disclosed where legally compelled or to protect rights and safety. The company states explicitly that it does not sell personal information within the meaning of the CCPA. Third-party analytics are present on the site, namely Google Analytics and Mixpanel, with opt-out links provided. On the customer's own side, the leads and submissions a component collects land in a generated database and can be exported to CSV in one click and reused without asking permission. One silence is worth noting: nothing on the site says whether customer data is used to train AI models.

Hosting summary
The privacy policy states that data is maintained, stored and processed in the United States of America, Europe, Israel and other locations. A public, versioned subprocessor list names eleven providers with their processing locations: AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, Resend, MongoDB, Zendesk, Elastic.io, Anthropic PBC, OpenAI L.L.C. and Stripe in the United States, plus Redis Ltd. across the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom. The publisher, Common Ninja Ltd., is headquartered in Israel, a jurisdiction the European Commission and the UK Secretary of State consider to offer an adequate level of protection for personal data. For transfers outside the EU and the UK, the Data Processing Agreement, last updated June 2025, links the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, with Annex III covering UK transfers. In practice the customer chooses nothing here: no hosting region is selectable, so anyone with a strict data-residency requirement should check the subprocessor list against their own policy before signing.

- Israeli and United States export-control rules apply and forbid use from an embargoed country, though no country is named
- Operational exposure: the free plan's caps of 6 messages a day and 200 page views a month are reached quickly, the AI agents module is in beta with several features still coming soon, and data transits through mostly American subprocessors with no region choice
