Overview

What is Embeddable?

Embeddable is a no-code SaaS platform published by Common Ninja Ltd., an Israeli company, that turns a plain-English description into a working component. Three families of deliverables come out of it: embeddable widgets, landing pages and AI agents, the last still in beta.

The widgets cover the everyday conversion toolkit, from forms, calculators and quizzes to popups, countdown timers, comparison tables, audio players, review grids and announcement bars. Landing pages are pre-rendered as static HTML so search engines index them immediately, with editable meta tags and Open Graph data and a custom domain secured by automatic SSL. AI agents connect to Google services through OAuth, run on a schedule or on demand and deliver their output by email or webhook; documented uses include SEO audits, email reports and data monitoring.

Everything ships through one script tag, with no iframes and no zip files. The platform claims compatibility with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Notion, Canva, Lovable and Bolt as well as any HTML site, and the documentation carries 45 platform-specific installation guides. Around the builder sit real-time analytics, A/B testing, a database generated automatically for every data-collecting component, a lightweight CRM, a media manager and version history with restore. An auto-generated dynamic editor lets you change content and styling afterwards without consuming tokens, tokens being the usage credits that AI generation and automation spend.

Twenty-six integrations are documented, among them Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Stripe, HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Google Sheets and Airtable. A Developer API exposes Widgets, Agents and Jobs endpoints for teams that would rather drive the platform programmatically.

The product did not appear from nowhere. It comes from the Common Ninja team, ten-plus years of building 200+ pre-built widgets for 500,000+ businesses, and the site documents 44 sector use cases, from real estate and healthcare to restaurants and nonprofits. The homepage claims 10,000+ marketers already use it.

The scope is deliberately narrow, and stated as such: Embeddable is not a full-stack website builder. It assumes you already have a site and want to add capability to it rather than start again.

What it does

  • Describe a widget, a landing page or an AI agent in plain English and let the AI build it
  • Start from one of the 100+ widget, landing page and agent templates instead of a blank prompt
  • Refine copy, colours and behaviour in the auto-generated dynamic editor without spending tokens
  • Publish a component and paste its script tag on any web platform, from WordPress to Notion
  • Collect leads in the automatically generated database and export them to CSV in one click
  • Run A/B tests on unlimited variants and publish the winning one
  • Schedule an AI agent to handle recurring work and deliver the result by email or webhook

When to use Embeddable / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Embeddable is the right fit.

When to use Embeddable

  • Marketers and growth teams who need lead-capture forms, calculators or quizzes live this week without waiting on a developer
  • Digital agencies running several client sites, thanks to role-based permissions, per-project dashboards and CMS rules that limit what the client can edit
  • Owners of an existing website who want to add conversion experiences to it rather than rebuild the whole site
  • Conversion-focused teams that iterate fast: A/B testing with unlimited variants is included from the free plan onwards
  • Solo founders and small teams who need SEO-ready landing pages on a custom domain without touching hosting or SSL

When not to use Embeddable

  • Anyone looking to build a complete website or a full application: the publisher states outright that Embeddable is not a full-stack website builder
  • Teams that need to work from a phone or tablet app, since there is no iOS or Android application
  • Developers who want to drop custom JavaScript inside a component, a capability announced as planned and therefore unavailable today
  • High-traffic projects hoping to stay on the free plan, capped at 6 messages a day (25 a month), 200 page views and 100 submissions a month, watermark included
  • Organisations that must choose their hosting region, as no region selection is offered and the named subprocessors process data in the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom
Get started

How to use Embeddable

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create a free account; no credit card is required
  2. Pick a starting point: a free-form prompt, a template from the gallery, or the URL of an existing site the AI analyses for colours, fonts and styles
  3. Let the AI generate the widget, landing page or agent from that brief
  4. Refine the result in natural language, through the visual controls or via the advanced settings
  5. Adjust copy, colours, spacing and behaviour in the auto-generated dynamic editor, which consumes no tokens
  6. Connect the integrations you need in a few clicks; credentials can be reused across several components
  7. Preview the component live before making it public
  8. Publish, then copy the script tag and paste it into your site; landing pages can instead go live on a custom domain
  9. Track performance in the analytics dashboard and export collected leads to CSV
  10. Restore an earlier version at any time from the built-in version history

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Widgets, landing pages and AI agents in a single subscription, a breadth few tools cover at this price
  • Very wide platform compatibility, backed by 45 documented installation guides, and embedding that never goes beyond pasting a script tag
  • Editing after generation consumes no tokens, an explicit and unusually concrete cost argument
  • A/B testing and analytics are included from the free plan, which is permanent and requires no credit card
  • Legal transparency well above the sector average: published DPA, linked standard contractual clauses and eleven named subprocessors with their processing locations
  • Landing pages pre-rendered as static HTML on a custom domain with automatic SSL, a concrete SEO advantage
  • Backed by the Common Ninja team, ten-plus years and 200+ widgets, with a Developer API and non-expiring 12 USD message packs to absorb a spike without changing tier

Cons

  • The free plan is tightly capped: 6 messages a day up to 25 a month, 200 page views, 100 submissions, 25 MB of storage and an Embeddable watermark
  • Token-based consumption makes the real cost hard to forecast, since it depends on how much you generate rather than on what you publish
  • No postal address is published anywhere on the site, and the contact page renders in JavaScript with no plain-text email, leaving a form as the main channel
  • No mobile application, on iOS or Android
  • Hosting sits mostly with subprocessors in the United States and no region can be selected by the customer
  • Nothing is said about training AI models on customer data, nor about any opt-out, and there is no Article 27 EU representative and no named DPO
  • Young product: the AI agents module is in beta, several features are marked coming soon, no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is displayed, and premium support is reserved for the Business plan

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Embeddable handles your data.

GDPR overview

GDPR compliance here is documented rather than merely claimed. A Data Processing Agreement, last updated June 2025, is published and binding, and covers the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP and the CCPA. It links the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021) in both controller-to-processor and processor-to-processor versions, with Annex III for UK transfers. Common Ninja Ltd. is headquartered in Israel, a jurisdiction the European Commission and the UK Secretary of State consider to offer an adequate level of protection. Data subjects may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability rights and complain to a supervisory authority, via privacy@embeddable.co. Customers may audit the processor on 14 days' written notice, once every twelve months, and the subprocessor list is public and versioned. Two gaps: no Article 27 EU representative is designated and no DPO is named.

Who owns the data?

Common Ninja Ltd. describes itself as the data controller of its own user, prospect and customer data, and as the data processor of the end-user information it receives through the Embeddable API and through the widgets its customers publish. For that visitor data, the customer stays responsible. Customers keep their customer data, but grant the publisher and its subprocessors an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to use it for the purpose of delivering the service, and warrant that it infringes no law and no third-party right. Every data-collecting component gets an automatically generated database, exportable to CSV in one click.

Reuse rights

Under the Data Processing Agreement (last updated June 2025), Common Ninja processes end-user information only on the customer's documented instructions. Beyond that, personal data may be shared with its subprocessors and with other companies in the Common Ninja group, transferred in the context of a merger or acquisition, and disclosed where legally compelled or to protect rights and safety. The company states explicitly that it does not sell personal information within the meaning of the CCPA. Third-party analytics are present on the site, namely Google Analytics and Mixpanel, with opt-out links provided. On the customer's own side, the leads and submissions a component collects land in a generated database and can be exported to CSV in one click and reused without asking permission. One silence is worth noting: nothing on the site says whether customer data is used to train AI models.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Embeddable keeps personal data for as long as necessary to deliver the service and to meet its legal obligations. The privacy policy, last updated June 2025, sets out the criteria used to fix that period: the amount, nature and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes of the processing and any applicable legal requirement. Data may be kept after a customer stops using the service, in line with the contract terms and an internal retention policy that is not published. No retention period is given in figures anywhere on the site. Data subjects may request erasure under section 9 of the privacy policy, and retention questions go to privacy@embeddable.co.

Hosting summary

The privacy policy states that data is maintained, stored and processed in the United States of America, Europe, Israel and other locations. A public, versioned subprocessor list names eleven providers with their processing locations: AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, Resend, MongoDB, Zendesk, Elastic.io, Anthropic PBC, OpenAI L.L.C. and Stripe in the United States, plus Redis Ltd. across the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom. The publisher, Common Ninja Ltd., is headquartered in Israel, a jurisdiction the European Commission and the UK Secretary of State consider to offer an adequate level of protection for personal data. For transfers outside the EU and the UK, the Data Processing Agreement, last updated June 2025, links the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, with Annex III covering UK transfers. In practice the customer chooses nothing here: no hosting region is selectable, so anyone with a strict data-residency requirement should check the subprocessor list against their own policy before signing.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Embeddable.

  • No postal address is published anywhere on the site: notices, complaints and legal recourse have to travel through a contact form and two email addresses
  • Both site email addresses, contact@ and privacy@, are obfuscated by Cloudflare tokens and invisible to a direct reading of the page
  • The terms, in force since 22 June 2025, are governed by Israeli law, submit disputes to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and include a class-action waiver
  • Customers grant the publisher a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and sublicensable licence over their customer data, a clause worth reading closely before routing sensitive visitor submissions through a widget
  • No documented opt-out from AI model training exists, and the subject is not addressed anywhere on the site
  • Israeli and United States export-control rules apply and forbid use from an embargoed country, though no country is named
  • Operational exposure: the free plan's caps of 6 messages a day and 200 page views a month are reached quickly, the AI agents module is in beta with several features still coming soon, and data transits through mostly American subprocessors with no region choice
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. Embeddable is fully no-code: no repository, no deployment, no configuration file. Installing a widget means pasting a single script tag, with no iframe and no archive, and the documentation carries 45 step-by-step guides, one per host platform. Landing pages take a custom domain with automatic SSL, and integrations connect in a few clicks with credentials reusable across components. The only genuinely technical step is authorising an AI agent through Google OAuth. No developer skills are required, publishing and performance tracking included.

Fundraising

Pre-seed round of 1.2 million USD raised in October 2021 by Common Ninja Ltd., the company that publishes Embeddable, with five investors and MoreVC as lead
Other investors named in that round: Rhodium, Eynat Guez, Inon Axel and Daniel Recanati
No funding information appears on the Embeddable website itself: these figures come from off-site research and should be treated as such, and the round concerns the publisher Common Ninja Ltd. rather than the Embeddable product specifically

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Embeddable?
An AI-powered no-code platform for creating custom embeddable components: widgets such as forms, popups and chatbots, landing pages, and AI agents still in beta. It is aimed at marketers who want more engagement and conversions without writing code, and it is published by Common Ninja Ltd.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The platform is no-code from generation through to publication, and the editor lets you adjust content and styling afterwards. Custom JavaScript inside a component is announced as planned, so it is not available today.
Which platforms does it work with, and how do I install a component?
Shopify, Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Notion and any HTML site, with 45 platform-specific installation guides in the documentation. You publish the component, then paste the script tag it gives you into your page. No iframes, no zip files.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, a permanent free plan with no credit card required. It carries an Embeddable watermark and tight limits: 6 messages a day up to 25 a month, 200 page views a month, 100 submissions a month and 25 MB of storage. A/B testing and analytics are nonetheless included.
What are tokens?
Usage credits consumed by AI generation and by automation. Editing a published component through the auto-generated CMS consumes none, so refining your copy and styling does not eat into your allowance. Messages can also be bought as a one-off pack at 12 USD, and they do not expire.
Are Embeddable landing pages good for SEO?
They are pre-rendered as static HTML, so search engines can index them immediately, and meta tags and Open Graph data are editable page by page. A custom domain with automatic SSL is available, including on the free plan.
Can I export the leads I collect?
Yes. Every component that collects data gets an automatically generated database, with a built-in lightweight CRM, and leads export to CSV in one click. Analytics can also be exported to CSV or PDF.
Is there an API?
Yes, a Developer API covering the Widgets API, the Agents API and the Jobs API, alongside endpoints exposed automatically for the components you build.
Where is my data hosted, and is a DPA available?
The privacy policy cites the United States of America, Europe, Israel and other locations. The published subprocessor list places most providers in the United States, with Redis Ltd. spanning the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom, and no hosting region is selectable. A Data Processing Agreement is published, with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses linked from it.
Who publishes Embeddable, and is there a mobile app?
Embeddable is published by Common Ninja Ltd., an Israeli company, by the team behind Common Ninja and its 200+ pre-built widgets. There is no mobile application: neither an iOS nor an Android app is offered, and the platform is used from the web.
Conclusion

Should you pick Embeddable?

Embeddable knows exactly what it is, and says so: not a full-stack website builder, but a way to add capability to a site you already have. That clarity is its main strength. Rather than competing on breadth, it concentrates on the components that actually move conversion, from forms and calculators to quizzes, popups and comparison tables, and hands you the machinery around them: A/B testing, real-time analytics, a database generated for every data-collecting component, a lightweight CRM. Finding that depth from 25 USD a month is unusual.

The legal hygiene deserves a mention of its own, because it sits well above the sector average. A published DPA, standard contractual clauses linked in both versions, eleven named subprocessors with their processing locations and an audit right on fourteen days' notice put Embeddable ahead of many larger tools. Behind it stands the Common Ninja team, ten-plus years and 200+ widgets, which meaningfully lowers the risk of the product going nowhere.

The reservations are real but bounded. No postal address is published anywhere. The site is silent on whether customer data is used to train AI models and documents no opt-out, which weighs heavier the more sensitive your visitors' submissions are. Hosting sits with subprocessors mostly in the United States, with no region to choose. The AI agents module is in beta and a few features are still marked coming soon. And the token model means the bill follows how much you generate, not how much you publish, worth modelling before committing.

If you are a marketer, a growth team or an agency that needs conversion components live this week without a developer, Embeddable is a strong and honest fit. If you need a selectable hosting region, a mobile app, custom JavaScript or an entire application built from scratch, look elsewhere.
