Overview

What is EntreResource?

EntreResource is a WordPress blog and email newsletter published by EntreResource, LLC and fronted by a single author, Nate McCallister, introduced on the home page as its founder. It is not software, not a platform and not an AI tool: there is nothing to install, nothing to configure and no account to open. Reading is free and anonymous, and the site's meta description claims a start in 2012.

The content splits into two families. Entrepreneurship gathers affiliate marketing, Amazon FBA, Amazon tools, online arbitrage, private label, blogging, SEO, self-publishing, design, digital products, freelancing, outsourcing, sales and copywriting, email marketing, side hustles, social media, paid traffic and YouTube. Self-Development gathers productivity, fitness, psychology and mindset, and self-education. Recent posts carry 2026 dates.

Two extras sit alongside the articles: a Special Reader Discounts block of sixteen dated, verified promo-code pages for third-party tools, and a subdomain, saas.entreresource.com, billed as an Ultimate Database of SAAS for Entrepreneurs. The Weekly 5 newsletter goes out on Fridays and claims more than 45,000 subscribers; an email address is all it asks for.

The business model is stated openly: affiliate links, through Amazon Associates, iDevAffiliate, Commission Junction, ShareASale and ClickFunnels. There is no pricing page, no terms of service and no about or contact page.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Entirely free, with no account, no paywall and no registration wall
  • Broad yet coherent editorial scope across online business
  • Unusually deep on Amazon FBA, online arbitrage and private label
  • Discount codes are dated and labelled as verified, so their freshness can be judged
  • Monetisation is disclosed: an explicit FTC disclaimer names the affiliate networks involved
  • Long-running and still active, with articles dated 2026 and discounts verified in February 2026
  • Minimum age and GDPR rights are set out explicitly in the privacy policy

Cons

  • It is not a tool: no software features, no AI, nothing to run or automate
  • Affiliate revenue funds the site, so tool recommendations are paid for; the site owns up to it, but neutrality suffers
  • No terms of service page is published, even though the privacy policy refers to one
  • No about, contact or team page, and the single contact email is obfuscated
  • The postal address is incomplete, listing a street with no city, state or postcode
  • Legal documents are old: a privacy policy dated 27 April 2019 and a disclaimer dated 10 June 2020
  • No verifiable social presence, and the SaaS subdomain renders in JavaScript, so its content and freshness cannot be checked
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

Access is free of charge and permanent. The site publishes no pricing page and shows no amount, plan or currency on the pages collected: articles can be read without an account, and the Weekly 5 newsletter asks only for an email address. There is consequently no paid entry point and no trial to convert. The publisher is remunerated indirectly, through affiliate commissions paid by merchants rather than by the reader, and the disclaimer states that "the price of the item is the same whether it is an affiliate link or not". One "Affiliate Program" link points to a third-party ThriveCart partner page for a product the site itself does not describe.

Special offers — No student, jobseeker or reduced-price offer exists, for the simple reason that the site and its newsletter are already free · A Special Reader Discounts block instead gathers promo codes negotiated for readers on third-party tools, each page dated and marked as verified · 2026 codes: Poppy AI (EAM), Repurpose.io (ENTRE20, 20%), Outrank.so (NATE10, 10%, February 2026) · Late 2025 codes: Koala.AI (NATE15, 15% for life, November 2025), Merlin AI (NATE5, 73%, October 2025) · Content and marketing tools: LearnWorlds (10MR, 30% annual, or 10YR, 10% monthly), VidIQ (NATE30, 30% over two months), TubeBuddy (ENTREBUDDY, 20%), Link Whisper (ENTRE10, 10%), Fastmoss (ER1024, 10%), Kalodata (Nate10, 10%) · Amazon and print-on-demand tools: RevSeller (FBAT20, 20% annual), SmartScout (ENTRE25, 25% over three months), Viral Launch (FBATODAY, 30-40%), Merch Informer (ENTRE20, 20%), Book Bolt (ENTRE, 20%) · All of these discounts apply to third-party products, never to EntreResource itself, whose own content costs nothing

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how EntreResource handles your data.

GDPR overview

The privacy policy includes a dedicated section, "Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)", naming performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interest not overridden by the individual's rights, and legal obligation. A second section lists data protection rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent, together with the right to complain to a supervisory authority; identity may be verified before a request is answered. What is absent matters just as much. No Article 27 EU representative is designated and no data protection officer is named, the only published contact being nate@entreresource.com. Data is transferred to and processed in the United States, yet no transfer mechanism is cited, neither standard contractual clauses nor the Data Privacy Framework. The policy is dated 27 April 2019. The site describes its obligations; it never claims to be compliant.

Who owns the data?

EntreResource, LLC publishes the site and describes itself as the Data Controller of the personal data it collects: email address, first and last name, cookies and usage data such as IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, dates and times, time spent, device identifiers and diagnostics. Third-party service providers may access it, but only to perform tasks on the publisher's behalf, and they are obliged not to disclose it or use it otherwise. Data may also change hands in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, with prior notice, and may be disclosed where the law or a public authority requires it. No terms of service page exists: all of this comes from the privacy policy and the affiliate disclaimer.

Reuse rights

Nothing on the site is offered for reuse. The footer carries a "Copyright 2026, all rights reserved" notice, no licence is granted, and because there is no terms of service page, no document ever states what a reader may republish, quote or repurpose. The content itself is supplied "as is", with no guarantee of completeness, accuracy or timeliness. What the publisher does with your own data is spelt out more clearly: running and maintaining the service, notifying you of changes, enabling interactive features, providing support, analysing and improving the site, monitoring usage, detecting technical incidents, and sending news and offers. Marketing emails can be stopped through the unsubscribe link in each message or by contacting the publisher. Behavioural advertising and remarketing run through Google Ads, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, with opt-out handled in each platform's own settings, and the Do Not Track signal is explicitly not supported.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
The privacy policy commits to keeping personal data "only for as long as is necessary" for the purposes it sets out, with longer retention where the publisher has to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or enforce its agreements. Usage data is described as kept for internal analysis, generally for a shorter period, unless it serves to strengthen security or improve the service, or unless the law requires otherwise. No figures are attached to any of this: no number of months, no purge schedule and no mention of anonymisation. Deletion can be requested under the GDPR rights section, and your identity may be verified before the request is answered. Leaving the newsletter is simpler still, through the unsubscribe link in every email.

Hosting summary

Processing takes place in the United States. The privacy policy states that your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and held on computers located outside your state, province, country or jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ from your own, and that consenting to the policy counts as accepting that transfer. No transfer mechanism is named: neither standard contractual clauses nor the EU-US Data Privacy Framework appears in the document. Security is covered by a general commitment to take all steps reasonably necessary to protect your data, alongside the frank admission that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Beyond that, disclosure stops: no hosting provider, data centre, region or certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is mentioned anywhere. Technically, the domain observed sits behind Cloudflare with a RocketCDN layer on a WordPress site, which is an observation about the infrastructure rather than a statement made by the publisher.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting EntreResource.

  • A structural conflict of interest: the tools recommended pay the publisher a commission
  • Discount codes are dated, and several go back to October or November 2025, so they may already have expired
  • Business advice is given "as is", with no guarantee of results, and the disclaimer declines any liability for decisions taken in reliance on it
  • Amazon FBA is governed by marketplace rules that change fast, so guidance can be out of date before you act on it
  • A single editorial voice, with no visible contradiction, second opinion or review process
  • Behavioural advertising and remarketing are active through Google Ads, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, the Do Not Track signal is not honoured, and the email you hand over is used for marketing under privacy documents dating from 2019
  • Side-hustle content carries a survivorship bias: income promises deserve a sceptical read
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

None to speak of. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no configuration to work through: the site opens in any browser and every article is readable straight away. The only optional action is typing an email address into the newsletter form, which takes a few seconds and can be undone through the unsubscribe link in each message. No technical skill is required at any point.

Conclusion

Should you pick EntreResource?

EntreResource is a long-running personal publication: a claimed start in 2012, still fed in 2026, written under a named byline. Its real value is editorial depth on Amazon FBA, online arbitrage and affiliate marketing, plus a set of dated discount codes whose freshness you can check for yourself. Set your expectations accordingly, because this is something you read, not something you use: there is no software here and certainly no AI, whatever the tools it writes about. Two caveats are worth keeping in mind. Recommendations are funded by affiliate commissions, which the site states plainly, though the incentive remains. And the legal side is thin: no terms of service, a privacy policy from 2019, a disclaimer from 2020 and an incomplete company identity. Committing costs nothing, on the other hand: free, no account, one email address at most, and an unsubscribe link in every message.
