Eryon is a French AI platform that reviews regulatory documentation for pharma and medical device teams across four angles: regulatory, scientific, linguistic and formatting. Each gap is located to the paragraph and justified by its legal basis.
What is Eryon?
Eryon is a French artificial intelligence platform built for documentation compliance in the healthcare industries: pharmaceutical laboratories, medical device and IVD manufacturers, biotechs and the specialised agencies that serve them. It is published by Eryon SAS, a company registered in Lille on 20 February 2025 and hosted at the EuraTechnologies incubator since May 2025.
The product re-reads long, structured, regulated documents under four distinct angles. Regulatory review cross-checks each page against the applicable texts, from MDR and IVDR to GVP, GMP, the AI Act, HDS, ANSM, ISO and ICH, as well as the customer's own internal references, locating every gap down to the paragraph and justifying it by its legal basis. Scientific review checks the consistency of data, figures and units and traces claims back to PubMed, Google Scholar and the customer's own sources. Linguistic review covers spelling, grammar, regulatory terminology, multilingual translation consistency and readability. Formatting review examines structure, numbering, layout, eCTD and DITA template compliance and the completeness of mandatory sections. A fifth axis, consistency, runs a cross-document analysis over instructions for use, technical files and clinical reports, and qualifies each contradiction it finds.
Around that engine sit timestamped and auditable traced corrections, argued rewriting suggestions, a regulatory and scientific risk map, an EUDAMED consistency check against CER and PSUR content, continuous regulatory monitoring with impact alerts, and background searches on scientific references.
Three offerings share the same engine. EryonOne is self-service and billed per document, with no subscription and no commitment. EryonAgence is a managed service in which regulatory affairs experts work alongside the AI and deliver within 48 hours, with a 24-hour express option. EryonConsult is a consulting engagement covering regulatory architecture, documentation strategy and AI integration into a quality information system.
Sovereignty is the central claim: business data is hosted in France on 3DS Outscale infrastructure qualified SecNumCloud 3.2 by ANSSI, open-source models are served in Europe, and no business document leaves the European Union. Human supervision is explicit throughout, the AI proposing while the expert decides, signs and publishes.

EryonOne is billed per document through prepaid credits, at a published rate of 5 credits for EUR 1 excluding tax, roughly EUR 0.20 per credit, with the final amount calculated from the exact page count, the review angles selected and the number of scientific references. Its indicative rate card runs from EUR 18.00 excluding tax for a roll-up banner on the formatting or linguistic angle up to EUR 1,140.00 excluding tax for a scientific review beyond 40 pages, while the stated calculation logic applies a minimum of 150 credits, that is EUR 30.00 excluding tax, per angle and per run. GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is documented rather than merely claimed. The privacy policy, last updated on 11 May 2026, names the controller, states the legal bases and lists the full set of data subject rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, exercised at contact@eryon.eu or by post to the registered office, with a right of complaint to the CNIL. Subprocessors are named: HubSpot, Inc. for the CRM in its German data centre, Brevo in France for transactional email, and 3DS Outscale in France for hosting. A residual HubSpot transfer to the United States is covered by standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A signable DPA, an up-to-date processing register and a DPIA are offered. No data protection officer is named on the site.
Who owns the data?
Eryon SAS, registered with the Lille Métropole commercial court under number 941078594 and represented by its president Hugo Mobihan, is the data controller. Customers keep ownership of the documents they submit: the vendor applies strict isolation per client and per project, tenant-level partitioning, restricted access and access logs consultable through role-based controls. The privacy policy states that personal data is strictly confidential and is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Access is limited to authorised internal teams and to named technical subprocessors bound by confidentiality obligations. Eryon also states that it processes no personal health data whatsoever.
Reuse rights
Eryon states that submitted documents are never shared with other users and are never used to train third-party models, and its security page adds that there is no retraining on customer data at all. Data is processed to answer enquiries, deliver the review service, manage the commercial relationship, meet legal obligations and improve the service, on the basis of consent, contract performance, legitimate interest and legal obligation. The site carries no analytics tool and no tracking cookie; the web server keeps standard technical logs for security and diagnostics. Customers receive corrected documents, an audit trail and a report they may export and reuse freely in their own submissions.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Business data is hosted in France. The processing chain runs on 3DS Outscale infrastructure, based in Saint-Cloud and qualified SecNumCloud 3.2 by ANSSI, and the site itself resolves to an Outscale address in Paris. The legal notice also names ARDNTECH, based in Gespunsart, France, as a hosting provider for the website. AI models are described as open source and served in Europe, with processing on sovereign infrastructure. Eryon states that no business data, meaning client documents and the content of its engagements, is transferred outside France or the European Union. One exception is documented: contact data captured through the HubSpot CRM and its meeting-booking widget sits in HubSpot's European data centre in Germany, with a residual transfer to the United States remaining possible under standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Brevo, in France, handles transactional and commercial email. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or above and at rest using AES-256, with tenant-level partitioning.

Technical difficulty
Very low for EryonOne. There is no installation and no onboarding: you create an account online, declare your page count, tick the review angles, pay and upload a PDF. The vendor makes a point of there being no salesperson to call. Larger deployments can connect SSO and SCIM to an existing identity provider such as Okta, Entra or Keycloak, and an account can host several users with owner and member roles sharing one credit balance, which does require IT involvement. EryonAgence and EryonConsult begin with a conversation and a quote rather than self-service.

Eryon addresses a narrow but genuinely painful problem: regulatory files that grow for months until contradictions become invisible to the people who wrote them. Its four-angle review, the paragraph-level localisation of each gap and the legal justification attached to every finding are the right answer to that problem, and the traceability on offer is what a regulatory reviewer actually needs to defend a submission.
Two things set it apart commercially. The first is a genuinely public rate card, rare in a market where almost everything is quoted on request, combined with a pay-per-document option that lets a team test the engine on a real file without a subscription. The second is the sovereignty claim, backed by hosting on infrastructure qualified SecNumCloud 3.2 by ANSSI and a commitment that business documents never leave the European Union.
Those claims deserve careful reading. None of the certifications displayed belongs to Eryon itself: SecNumCloud, ANSSI and HDS qualify the host, and ISO 27001 is explicitly described as targeted for 2026 rather than obtained. More pointedly, the vendor's own public roadmap records a server-side Anthropic Claude chain as delivered, which sits uneasily beside the claim of sovereign open-source models with no US big tech dependency, and Anthropic does not appear in the published subprocessor list. The two statements on how long client documents are kept, immediate deletion in one place and thirty days in another, also need reconciling.
The publisher is barely a year old, employs a handful of people and cites a single pilot. That is not disqualifying for a tool sold one document at a time, but it argues for exactly the approach the pricing already permits: buy one review, on a file you know well, and judge the output before committing anything further.
