Flashbot
Flashbot is a no-code platform for building AI agents on the official WhatsApp Business API. Aimed at freelancers, small and growing businesses, it adds voice, web search and webhooks. A 7-day free trial precedes plans from 29 USD monthly.
What is Flashbot?
Flashbot is a no-code SaaS platform for building conversational AI agents that run on WhatsApp Business. The home page states the positioning plainly, AI WhatsApp Agents That Work, with a Production Ready badge, and the product is consumed inside WhatsApp itself rather than through a Flashbot app.
Agents are created in a visual interface: you describe the agent's personality and behaviour rules in plain language, without writing code. The agent is then bound to an official Meta WhatsApp Business API number through a Phone Number ID and a WhatsApp Business Account ID, so messages arrive over the sanctioned channel.
The language model is named openly: Gemini 2.5 Flash, with conversational context memory. Around it sit voice and tool capabilities. Incoming voice notes are transcribed by Whisper and the agent can reply in synthesised speech. It can run a web search mid-conversation and fire AI-controlled webhooks through function calling, so it acts on external systems rather than only talking. From the Growth plan upward, a RAG knowledge base grounds answers in your own material. Five business integrations connect over OAuth: Google Calendar, Gmail, HubSpot CRM, Outlook and Notion.
A Playground lets you test an agent before any number is attached; messages there are neither stored nor charged against quota. Flashbot targets a response in under two seconds and processes messages asynchronously. Security is described in concrete terms rather than gestured at: AES-GCM encryption of WhatsApp credentials, Row Level Security and an isolated multi-tenant architecture. The dashboard covers real-time metrics, conversations, campaigns, message templates, scheduled notifications and triggers.
Four use cases are pushed forward: customer support, sales assistant, appointment booking and e-commerce. The scope has firm edges. Every published plan allows a single WhatsApp number, Custom included. The site is English-only and published under the bare name Flashbot, with no legal entity and no postal address, and the application bundle states that the tool was created by Fran Conejos. The domain was registered on 11 April 2025 and first archived on 15 April 2025: this is a recent product.
What it does
- Build a WhatsApp AI agent by describing its personality and behaviour rules, with no code
- Answer inbound WhatsApp Business messages automatically, around the clock
- Transcribe incoming voice notes with Whisper and reply in synthesised speech
- Run a web search from inside the conversation
- Fire outbound webhooks to third-party systems, decided by the agent through function calling
- Create Google Calendar events, send Gmail or Outlook emails, update HubSpot contacts and write to Notion
- Ground answers in a RAG knowledge base and follow conversations and real-time metrics from the dashboard
When to use Flashbot / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Flashbot is the right fit.
When to use Flashbot
- Small support teams that receive steady WhatsApp volume and want inbound messages answered around the clock without adding headcount.
- Freelancers and small business owners with no developer available: agents are described in plain language through a visual interface, with no programming skills needed.
- Service businesses that take bookings, since the agent can check availability and create events in Google Calendar or Outlook straight from the conversation.
- Sales teams that qualify leads and set meetings over WhatsApp, the scenario Flashbot presents as its Sales Assistant use case.
- Online retailers and teams already running HubSpot, Notion or Gmail, so the agent can handle order status, recommend products, chase abandoned carts and write follow-ups back into those tools.
When not to use Flashbot
- Multi-brand or multi-country organisations: every published plan, Custom included, is limited to a single WhatsApp number.
- Teams looking for an omnichannel desk. WhatsApp is the only channel, with no web chat, no Instagram, no Messenger and no inbound email.
- Regulated sectors and buyers working from a compliance checklist: no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification, no DPA on offer, the GDPR never named, no documented way to exclude data from model training, and the service reserved to users aged 18 and over.
- Organisations bound by data residency requirements, since no hosting country and no hosting region is published anywhere.
- Heavily tooled deployments and product teams wanting to embed the agent elsewhere: each web search and each webhook call is billed as a chat, and Flashbot publishes no public API and no mobile app.
How to use Flashbot
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Check the prerequisite Flashbot does not supply: a valid WhatsApp Business account and a number eligible with Meta.
- Create an account on the sign-up page, by email or with Google. No credit card is asked for the trial.
- Describe your agent: its personality, its behaviour instructions and the rules it must follow.
- Connect your WhatsApp Business number using its Phone Number ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID and API tokens.
- Use the Facebook Embedded Signup flow loaded by the site to shorten that connection step.
- Connect the integrations you need one by one over OAuth from the integrations page, waiting for each connection to confirm.
- Test the agent in the Playground, where messages are neither stored nor counted against your quota.
- Activate the agent and let it use the connected integrations on its own: creating an event, sending a follow-up email, updating a CRM contact or writing a Notion page.
- Follow conversations and metrics in real time from the dashboard.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- No technical skill needed to build an agent, and the visual workflow described on the site backs the claim
- Unlimited agents from the first paid plan, which is uncommon at this price point
- Voice in and out, transcription and text-to-speech alike, available on all three plans rather than held back for the top tier
- The language model is named openly (Gemini 2.5 Flash), where many competitors stay vague
- 7-day free trial with no credit card, plus a Playground that consumes no quota
- Security measures described precisely (AES-GCM, Row Level Security, multi-tenant isolation) rather than merely alluded to
- Readable pricing: three public tiers, published amounts, an explicit definition of the billed unit, a 20% annual discount, and five useful business integrations connected over OAuth
Cons
- No legal entity, no postal address and no country of establishment is published, and the site carries neither terms of service nor a legal notice: the privacy policy is the only legal document
- The two contact addresses sit on flashbot.app while the service runs on flashbot.pro
- The GDPR is never named, no DPA is offered, no Article 27 representative is designated and no certification is claimed
- No hosting country and no hosting region is published
- A single WhatsApp number on every plan, Custom included
- The billed "chat" unit also counts each web search and each webhook call, which makes consumption hard to forecast, and exceeding the quota pauses your agents until you upgrade or the month resets
- No permanent free plan, no mobile app, no public API, no declared interface or processing languages and no social or team page, so publisher traceability is thin; the home page also advertises a "14-day free trial" while the pricing page and the FAQs state 7 days
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. Flashbot offers a 7-day free trial covering 50 chats, unlimited agents, web search and webhooks, with no credit card required; once it ends, a paid subscription is required to carry on. The entry-level paid tier is Launch at 29.00 USD per month, followed by Growth at 79.00 USD per month and Custom, priced on quotation from 20,000 chats per month. Annual billing is available on every plan with a 20% discount. Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal, plus bank transfer for enterprise annual contracts. Plans can be changed at any time, with immediate effect and prorated billing. The billed unit deserves particular attention: one chat is one message sent by the agent, whether text or voice, or one tool execution, the pricing page stating that "Each time your agent uses web search or calls a webhook, it counts as 1 chat." Playground messages are not counted. An alert is raised at 80% of the quota; beyond it, agents are paused until an upgrade or the monthly reset.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Flashbot handles your data.
GDPR overview
The site never uses the words GDPR or data protection regulation, a check across the entire application bundle returns no match, and Flashbot makes no compliance claim anywhere. The privacy policy nevertheless reads like a GDPR-shaped document. Section 7 lists six rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent), introduced by "Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data". Section 8 covers international transfers and promises "standard contractual clauses where required", a Chapter V mechanism. Rights are exercised at privacy@flashbot.app. Against that: no Article 27 EU representative, no data protection officer, no DPA offered or mentioned, and subprocessors named only by category apart from Meta. The policy is dated 11 December 2025 and sets deletion or anonymisation within 30 days of account closure. Rights language is present; a stated compliance position is not.
Who owns the data?
Flashbot's privacy policy contains no ownership clause and no licence over customer content: it never states who owns agent configurations, conversations or knowledge-base material. It only separates the data you supply, meaning account details, WhatsApp credentials, agent configuration and billing, from the data collected automatically, meaning conversations, usage and logs. On protection it is more specific. WhatsApp API credentials are encrypted with AES-GCM before storage, and tenant isolation is claimed through Row Level Security, the policy stating that "Data Isolation: Multi-tenant architecture ensures your data is completely isolated from other users." Users are offered access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and conversation data can be deleted on request.
Reuse rights
The privacy policy lists six purposes: delivering the service, AI processing, account management, analytics, communications and legal compliance. AI processing is spelled out as "message understanding, response generation, and voice transcription", so the text, voice notes and media exchanged with WhatsApp end users all pass through the platform. Promotional communications are subject to consent. Sharing is described by category rather than by named vendor: Meta is named for the WhatsApp Business API and remains "Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy", while AI model providers, cloud infrastructure providers and analytics services appear only as categories. Nothing in the document addresses training models on customer data. It is neither claimed nor excluded, no customer-facing opt-out is documented, and no conclusion can be drawn either way.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Flashbot names no hosting country and no hosting region. The privacy policy goes no further than "Secure Infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure", and its list of third parties includes a generic Cloud Infrastructure Providers category without naming a supplier. Section 8 states that data may be transferred outside your country of residence, with standard contractual clauses put in place where required: an acknowledgement of cross-border transfer with no indication of the destination. Two technical signals exist, but the site publishes neither and they must be read as indications only, never as commitments: the content security policy allows *.supabase.co, and DNS resolves to a Cloudflare anycast node. The resolved IP address, 185.158.133.1, geolocates to Poland, but an anycast CDN node identifies the edge that answered the request, not the place where data is stored. In practice, there is no published jurisdiction for the data. Any organisation with a data residency requirement should treat the question as unresolved and obtain a written answer before committing.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Flashbot.
- The publisher is not legally identified: no full company name, no address, no country. There is no documented party to address a dispute to.
- The two contact emails are on flashbot.app, a different domain from the flashbot.pro service. Confirm they are live before depending on them for support or for a data request.
- There is no terms of service page. The contractual relationship is simply not published, only the privacy policy is, so what you agree to when you subscribe remains undocumented.
- The GDPR is never named, no DPA is available and no Article 27 representative is designated, while international transfers are announced and no hosting country or region is published.
- No documented option to exclude your data from model training, and the privacy policy does not address the subject at all, neither to claim it nor to exclude it.
- The billed unit includes tool executions, so the real cost tracks the number of tool calls rather than the number of conversations. Going over does not trigger an overage charge: agents are paused, which is a service interruption for your customers.
- Display inconsistencies to keep in mind: the home page advertises a "14-day free trial" while the pricing page and the FAQs state 7 days, and the billing screen still carries an "Early Access" banner announcing paid plans for Q2 2025, a date long past. The product is also very recent, and every plan, Custom included, is limited to a single WhatsApp number.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Mixed, depending on the step. Creating the agent requires no technical skill: a visual interface where you describe behaviour in natural language. The real hurdle sits outside Flashbot, namely holding a valid WhatsApp Business account and a number eligible with Meta. Connecting it asks for a Phone Number ID, a WhatsApp Business Account ID and API tokens, though Facebook Embedded Signup shortens the process. Integrations connect over OAuth in a few clicks, with confirmation taking up to 30 seconds. Webhooks need an endpoint URL and are therefore genuinely technical. The Playground lets you validate everything before going live.

Should you pick Flashbot?
Flashbot is a young product, its domain having been registered in April 2025, but it is functionally dense for what it costs. Unlimited agents, voice transcription and text-to-speech replies from 29 USD per month make for a generous entry tier, and the technical transparency is real: the engine is named (Gemini 2.5 Flash) and the security measures are described concretely, with AES-GCM credential encryption, Row Level Security and multi-tenant isolation.
Corporate transparency runs the other way. No legal entity, no postal address, no terms of service, no legal notice and no formalised compliance position: the site publishes a privacy policy and nothing else. The two contact addresses sit on flashbot.app while the service runs on flashbot.pro, a mismatch worth confirming before relying on them.
Two structural limits shape who this suits. A single WhatsApp number applies on every published plan, Custom included, which caps organisational scale rather than message volume. And the billed unit, one chat being one agent message or one tool execution, means a heavily tooled agent burns through quota faster than a conversation count would suggest. Model that before committing, because going over the quota pauses agents rather than generating an overage charge.
The practical verdict: Flashbot is a sound fit for a small business or a freelancer who wants WhatsApp automation running quickly and without a developer, and who can live with one number and a usage-metered bill. It should be ruled out where compliance evidence, data residency or multi-number operations are requirements, since none of those are addressed by anything the site publishes.
