Overview

What is Flatlogic?

Flatlogic runs two connected offers under one brand: a self-service platform, marketed as the AI Web App Generator and as an AI Software Development Agent, and a human engineering services business.

The platform is described as an AI Agentic Platform as a Service, built on three inseparable parts: a dedicated virtual machine, an AI agent and a production-ready template. The advertised path has three steps. You describe the product you want in a chat, in plain English; Flatlogic provisions the VM and deploys the application; you then iterate with the AI agent. What comes out is a working application with frontend, backend, database, authentication, user roles, login and logout pages, password management and email confirmation. Two stacks are offered: Next.js and React with Express and Node.js on PostgreSQL or MySQL, and a traditional LAMP stack with Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.

The recurring differentiator is source code ownership. Flatlogic positions itself against closed builders, stating that the goal is a real codebase a team can own, export, edit and deploy "instead of being locked inside a no-code runtime". Code can be pushed to GitHub, downloaded and run without the platform.

Usage is metered in credits. AI edits, VM hosting, redeployments and source code downloads all consume them. AI requests pass through a multi-provider proxy operated by AppWizzy Inc., with a choice between GPT and Gemini model families, or bring-your-own-key through a personal ChatGPT account or API key.

Around the generator sits a broad catalogue: 42 published use cases, from an e-commerce builder to claims management, healthcare, legal, HR, procurement, warehousing, fleet, real estate, accounting and compliance software, plus a template library for React, Vue, Angular and React Native, now free and open source, with 25,000+ companies claimed.

The second half of the business is services: AI consulting, AI integration, AI transformation, AI development, custom web development, React Native mobile work, admin template integration and UI/UX. The company reports operating since 2015, 191,964.6 tracked engineering hours, 72 client products and 35 specialists, with named case studies including Optelos, Unicef, Worldsphere, Hubsoft and Freshride.

What it does

  • Generate a full-stack application with frontend, backend, database, authentication and roles from a plain-English prompt
  • Design and edit the database schema, including entities and complex relationships
  • Provision a dedicated virtual machine and deploy the application in one click
  • Modify an existing application in natural language through the AI agent, inside the VM sandbox
  • Generate AI-driven charts and widgets with text-to-chart and text-to-widget
  • Push the source code to GitHub and download it for local work
  • Define custom roles and granular permissions, and expose the generated application's API with its Swagger documentation

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Real source code ownership with GitHub export, so no lock-in inside a proprietary runtime
  • The application is deployed and reachable online immediately, with no configuration to handle
  • Two routes in one place: self-service platform, or Flatlogic engineers when the custom part gets too complex
  • Established publisher, a software services company active since 2015, with named case studies such as Optelos, Unicef and Hubsoft
  • Conventional, maintainable stacks (Next.js/Node/PostgreSQL, LAMP) rather than a proprietary format
  • Permanent free plan with 5 credits per month and 3 public applications
  • Choice of AI model with bring-your-own-key support, and credits spent on a failed AI request refundable in credits, up to 50 on the Pro plan

Cons

  • No free trial: the site states it plainly on the pricing page
  • The free plan is personal use only; commercial use requires a paid plan and a source code access activation for each application
  • Real cost is hard to anticipate, with three stacked meters: AI tokens, VM hosting per active day, and template licenses up to USD 399
  • Payments are non-refundable and credits can never be converted back into money
  • No hosting country or region is published, and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification is shown
  • No published data processing agreement, no named list of subprocessors, and no mention of the GDPR anywhere on the site
  • A paused or unfunded VM is scheduled for permanent deletion after around 7 days, with no guaranteed restore service

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Flatlogic handles your data.

GDPR overview

The site never mentions the GDPR. The acronym appears nowhere in the terms, the privacy policy or any other collected page, and no Article 27 representative, data protection officer or dedicated privacy address is named, even though the contracting entity is established in Poland. The privacy policy is built on US law: CalOPPA, COPPA, Fair Information Practices, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. It nevertheless uses European vocabulary. Flatlogic Poland, LLC declares itself controller for site operation, accounts, support and compliance; AppWizzy Inc. is controller for payment records and AI proxy billing; when a customer processes personal data on their VM, the customer is controller and the company acts as processor. Access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction are offered, cookies are opt-in, and international transfers rely on safeguards "where required (e.g., SCCs)".

Who owns the data?

Under the terms, the customer keeps ownership of Customer Content: source code, repositories, files, prompts, AI responses, terminal and application data. Flatlogic states that it "does not acquire ownership of Customer Content" and takes only a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, display, technically adapt, secure and back up that content, solely to provide and administer the service. Affiliates and subprocessors may exercise that license only as far as necessary. It ends when the content is deleted, apart from residual copies in routine backups or legal holds. The Web App Generator itself belongs to AppWizzy Inc., and no intellectual property rights in it ever transfer to the customer.

Reuse rights

Once the code is downloaded, the customer may install, run and modify the generated application for their own purposes. Commercial use and incorporation into a final product require both an active paid plan and a source code access activation for that specific application, and each additional application needs its own activation. Without an active paid plan, downloaded code is restricted to personal use. The code can be pushed to GitHub and edited freely, with no ongoing dependency on the platform. One prohibition is explicit: the generated code may not be used to create a competing code generator or a similar product. Hosting, storage, CPU/RAM and AI request limits are presented as service conditions rather than software license restrictions. The legacy premium templates have been released as free and open source.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Flatlogic keeps data as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes it describes: running the service, accounts, transactions, tax and accounting obligations, disputes, abuse prevention, security and legal compliance. Periods vary by category and can be extended by a legal obligation, a dispute, an investigation or a preservation order. Closing an account disables access but does not necessarily erase account, transaction, usage, support, security or compliance records. Deleting a project or a VM removes the live infrastructure and the Customer Content stored on that VM only. A paused VM gets at least 7 calendar days before permanent deletion is attempted, plus an operational grace day, and resuming or renewing it cancels the cleanup. Backups are not guaranteed to contain or restore any given VM, and residual copies may persist until overwritten. Aggregated, de-identified data may be kept indefinitely. Access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction can be requested.
Trains on customer data
Unclear

Hosting summary

Flatlogic states that client data is stored on Google Cloud servers, and a dedicated documentation page covers hosting on Google Cloud. No hosting country and no region is named anywhere on the site. The privacy policy claims network segmentation, access controls, encryption in transit and encryption at rest where supported, with production access restricted to authorized staff, while the pricing FAQ uses the phrase end-to-end encryption. Development VMs are described as hosted environments controlled by the customer. Payments are handled by Stripe, or another provider identified at checkout, and no card data is stored on the publisher's servers. International transfers rely on contractual and technical safeguards, with Standard Contractual Clauses given as an example. Two things are missing: no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent certification is published, and no named list of subprocessors exists. Only categories are mentioned, namely Stripe, cloud and network infrastructure, email delivery, analytics subject to consent, and incident tooling. Teams with a documented data residency requirement will not find what they need on the site.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Flatlogic.

  • Cost drift: three independent meters run at once (AI tokens, active VM days, template licenses), with whole-day billing that is not prorated
  • Data loss: a paused or unfunded VM is scheduled for permanent deletion after around 7 days, with no guaranteed restore service, so exporting remains the customer's responsibility
  • Code confidentiality: prompts, source code and files pass through a third-party AI proxy and then to the model provider, which applies its own retention rules
  • Over-reliance on the agent: accepting generated code without reviewing it builds technical debt nobody on the team understands, a risk the site itself flags
  • Skill erosion: delegating the data model and the architecture to the AI deprives the team of the understanding needed to maintain the application afterwards
  • Legal ambiguity: two contracting entities in Poland and the United States, Lithuanian governing law, liability capped at the amounts paid over six months, and a service provided as is
  • False sense of compliance: building a HIPAA-aware healthcare or legal application does not make it compliant, and regulatory responsibility stays entirely with the customer
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Getting started is easy: no download or installation is required, the platform provisions the VM, handles hosting and base configuration and deploys in one click, with a zero-configuration development environment on the free plan. Getting value is harder. You need to be able to read a data model, its tables, relationships and permissions. Advanced steps are developer work: GitHub connection, source code editing, local execution, debugging, Swagger, Postman, Google Auth and rollback. Choosing a VM size, managing credits and understanding the Dev and Stable environments add administrative load. Documentation, video tutorials, a forum and a Discord community are available.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Flatlogic?
Flatlogic is an AI platform that generates customizable business applications such as CRM, ERP and SaaS products, and automates authentication, access control and cloud deployment. It combines a dedicated virtual machine, an AI agent and a production-ready template.
Who owns the code generated by Flatlogic?
The customer owns it once source code access has been activated. Commercial use requires an active paid plan, and one activation covers one application, so each additional application needs its own. The terms forbid using the generated code to build a competing code generator.
Is there a free trial?
No. Flatlogic states explicitly that there is no trial. In exchange, every application is deployed and a Code Preview option lets you inspect the code before purchase. A permanent free plan is available, but it is limited to personal use.
How much does Flatlogic cost?
The free plan is USD 0.00 per month. Pro starts at USD 20.00 per month for 25 credits, then USD 50.00 for 60 credits and USD 100.00 for 125 credits. Enterprise is quoted on request. AI credits, VM hosting and template licenses are billed on top.
Which technologies does Flatlogic generate?
Two stacks are available: Next.js and React with Express and Node.js on PostgreSQL or MySQL, or a traditional LAMP stack with Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. The generated application can also be integrated with existing CRM, ERP or other enterprise systems through its API and its customizable codebase.
Which AI models does Flatlogic use?
AI requests go through the multi-provider AppWizzy proxy, with a choice between the GPT and Gemini model families. You can also bring your own key by connecting a personal ChatGPT account or an API key. Models are billed per million tokens.
Where is the data hosted?
Client data is stored on Google Cloud servers, with encryption in transit. The site does not specify any hosting country or region, and publishes no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.
Can I get a refund or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions and credits are non-refundable. Credits spent on a failed AI request can be credited back on request. You can cancel at any time: the current billing cycle remains due, subsequent ones do not.
Are there any discounts or special offers?
Students, non-profit organizations and universities get discounts on all plans except Enterprise, and annual commitment is announced at 20% off. Ukrainian developers are offered one free year of platform access.
Is there a mobile app?
There is no mobile app for the platform itself. Mobile projects are covered by the React Native templates and by Flatlogic's mobile development services.
Conclusion

Should you pick Flatlogic?

Flatlogic sits between closed no-code builders and fully custom development, and it makes source code ownership its central argument. The generated application is a real Next.js/Node or LAMP codebase that a team can export to GitHub, edit by hand and run without the platform. That single design choice decides who benefits: teams able to read and take over a codebase get a genuine head start, while strictly non-technical buyers will find the virtual machines, the credits and the schema editing more demanding than a no-code tool.

Credibility is easier to check than for most tools of this kind. The publisher is a software services company operating since 2015, with named case studies, a public GitHub presence and an engineering team that can be hired when the platform reaches its limits.

The commercial model deserves a projection before any commitment. Three separate meters run in parallel: AI credits billed per million tokens, VM hosting billed per active day, and one-off template licenses that can reach USD 399. The absence of a free trial is partly offset by a permanent free plan and a Code Preview option, but that free plan is personal use only and payments are non-refundable.

The clearest gap is data governance. No hosting country or region is published, no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification is shown, no data processing agreement is published, no subprocessor is named, and the GDPR is never mentioned, even though the contracting entity is established in the European Union. Add a two-entity structure, Flatlogic Poland, LLC and AppWizzy Inc., and terms governed by Lithuanian law, and the contractual side warrants a careful read before any serious engagement.

For a team that wants to own what it ships, Flatlogic is a credible option; for a regulated buyer, the paperwork is thinner than the product.
