Gemelo
Gemelo is an early-access AI video platform built around LinkedIn. It clones your face and voice into a professional twin, plugs into your work tools, drafts the videos, and publishes them only after you approve each one.
What is Gemelo?
Gemelo is an AI video platform built around a single channel: LinkedIn. Its stated promise is AI video for LinkedIn without picking up a camera. The product builds an AI twin, a photorealistic clone of a real person's face and voice, from one recording session of roughly five minutes, then lets that twin draft and produce the videos its owner would have filmed.
The published workflow has five steps. Capture builds the twin. Connect plugs it into as many as twelve work sources, among them Slack, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Notion, Gmail, Google Drive and the calendar. Draft produces daily video proposals with script, hook, captions, thumbnail and vertical export. Approve places those drafts in a queue reviewed from a phone, from Slack or in the app, where each item can be approved, edited or deleted and where the render cost is displayed before launch. Ship sends the result to LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or X, and the twin reports back on what worked.
The vendor calls this loop the approval spine: the twin drafts, the human decides, nothing publishes without a tap. Gemelo also claims every draft can be traced back to the call, document or message it came from.
Two distinct objects coexist. AI Twins are digital clones of real people and require the consent of the person cloned. AI Avatars are fully synthetic personas representing nobody, offered with unrestricted usage rights for UGC ads and product demos. The twin is described through four capabilities: likeness, voice, knowledge trained on the brand and its products, and 50+ languages with lip-sync.
Published use cases run from founder content and CRM-connected sales prospecting to UGC advertising, vertical mobile content, global localization, internal onboarding and LinkedIn competitor monitoring. The platform also advertises itself as MCP-ready, exposing the twin as a capability other agents can call.
Every page displays the product as being in early access, and several announced functions are not delivered: LinkedIn auto-posting is marked coming soon, while the real-time meeting agent, the voice agent and the calendar hand-off remain in early access.
What it does
- Clone a person's face and voice from a single recording session of about five minutes to produce a photorealistic twin
- Draft LinkedIn videos on its own: scripts, hooks, captions, thumbnails and vertical exports
- Pull working context from up to twelve connected sources such as Slack, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Gmail, Google Drive and the calendar
- Hold every draft in an approval queue reviewed from Slack, phone or app, so nothing publishes without a human tap
- Monitor selected LinkedIn profiles and propose a comment, a reply, a quote-post or a video reaction
- Draft answers to comments and direct messages, and route hot leads to Slack or the CRM
- Generate fully synthetic AI Avatars for UGC ads and localize a video into 50+ languages with lip-sync
When to use Gemelo / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Gemelo is the right fit.
When to use Gemelo
- Startup founders who need a steady LinkedIn presence without blocking their calendar to film
- B2B sales teams sending personalized prospecting videos built from the CRM context of a deal
- Content and social media managers responsible for a daily publishing cadence
- Performance marketers and media buyers testing many UGC ad hook variants at once
- E-commerce brands and localization teams reusing one video across 50+ languages with lip-sync
When not to use Gemelo
- Anyone unwilling to have their face and voice cloned, since biometric data is processed by design
- Organizations that must know where their data is stored: no hosting country or region is disclosed
- Buyers who require a data processing agreement, an EU representative or a security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, none of which are published
- Developers expecting a publicly documented API, as MCP and API access is sold only on the most expensive plan with no online documentation
- People looking for a free tool or for cinematic creative production: the free plan does not allow video creation and the product is framed around talking-head video of a person
How to use Gemelo
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account on app.gemelo.app with an email and password, or through Google sign-in
- Record a single session of about five minutes so the platform can build the twin's face and voice
- Confirm consent: the twin must represent yourself, or rest on explicit written consent from the person being cloned
- Connect the context sources: Slack, LinkedIn, HubSpot or Salesforce, Notion, Gmail, Google Drive and the calendar
- Set the rules: which LinkedIn profiles to monitor, which triggers to watch (a founder's new post, a launch announcement, a hiring wave, a comment from a target buyer) and which accounts are concerned
- Let the twin draft daily video proposals, each with script, hook, captions, thumbnail and vertical export
- Review the queue from your phone, from Slack or in the app, then approve, edit or delete; the render cost is shown before launch
- Publish to LinkedIn (auto-posting is announced but still coming soon), TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or X, otherwise post manually in one tap
- Handle the return flow: comments, direct messages and hot leads arrive in a queue with their context and a pre-written reply to validate
- Watch the credits: a 15 to 25 second video costs roughly 270 to 450 credits, and unused credits roll over up to twice the monthly allowance
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A human approval step is built into the workflow: nothing publishes without an explicit validation
- Traceability is claimed on every draft, which points back to the call, document or message it came from
- Connects to the tools teams already use (Slack, CRM, Notion, Drive, Gmail, calendar) instead of depending on prompts
- Render cost is displayed before launch, unused credits roll over up to twice the monthly allowance, and unpublishing or refunding a render takes one click
- Explicit consent framework for cloning, with deceptive deepfakes and political disinformation contractually banned
- Documented right to object to AI training, and no use of enterprise customer data for training without an explicit opt-in
- Permanent free plan to explore the tool, with a paid entry point at USD 29.99 per month and localization into 50+ languages without a dubbing agency
Cons
- Early access status: LinkedIn auto-posting is still coming soon, and the real-time meeting agent, the voice agent and the calendar hand-off are not finished
- No postal address is published anywhere on the site, so no head office can be identified
- No data hosting country or region is disclosed, although biometric data is processed
- No data processing agreement, no EU representative under Article 27 and no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
- The free plan is very limited: restricted credits, one hello clip, and video creation reserved for subscribers, while purchased credits are non-refundable except where the law requires it
- MCP and API access is reserved for the Studio plan at USD 199.99 per month, with no public documentation
- The headline figures used on the site (10x more posts, 90% less filming time, 3.2x reply rate, +340% ROAS) are advertiser claims published without methodology or source

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Gemelo handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy, last updated 5 January 2026, states a commitment to compliance with applicable privacy laws, naming GDPR and CCPA explicitly. It lists rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection including objection to AI training, and withdrawal of consent, exercised through privacy@gemelo.ai with an announced 30-day response time and no discrimination for exercising them. International transfers are said to be covered by standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant data protection authorities. Biometric data such as facial geometry is processed to build the avatar and permanently destroyed within 30 days of account deletion. The minimum age is 16. Three things are missing: no EU representative under Article 27 is designated, no data protection officer is named, and no data processing agreement is published or offered. No security certification is claimed either.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service, you keep ownership of any content you upload, and you own the videos generated with the service. Uploading grants Gemelo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify and display that content, solely to provide the service to you. Gemelo retains all rights to the underlying AI models, algorithms and technology, and owns the service itself, its software, designs, text and graphics. The privacy policy adds that biometric data such as facial geometry is never sold, rented or traded for profit, and that personal data is not sold to third parties for advertising purposes.
Reuse rights
End users own the videos they generate and can reuse them without asking permission: the pricing FAQ states full ownership, and the synthetic AI Avatars are advertised with full rights and zero talent licensing, for unlimited use on any platform. Two conditions apply. Cloning a real person requires that person's explicit written consent, and the user warrants holding the rights to everything uploaded. The terms also require users to clearly disclose that content is AI-generated in contexts where it matters. Some uses stay contractually forbidden whatever the ownership: deceptive deepfakes, impersonation without consent, political disinformation or manipulated media aimed at influencing elections, content involving minors inappropriately, spam and phishing.

Hosting summary
No hosting country or region is named anywhere in the privacy policy. The document acknowledges that information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the user's country of residence, whose data protection laws may differ, and states that international transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant data protection authorities. Service providers are named explicitly: Stripe for payments, Supabase and Vercel for cloud hosting, HeyGen for AI processing, and Google for sign-in and analytics. Announced security measures include encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, access controls, regular security assessments and audits, and employee training, with an explicit caveat that no transmission method over the internet is completely secure and that absolute security is not guaranteed. No data processing agreement is published and no certification such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA is claimed. The domain resolves to 185.158.133.1 on the Cloudflare anycast network, which identifies a content delivery node rather than the data center where the data actually sits.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Gemelo.
- Biometric cloning: your face and voice become data, and unlike a password those attributes cannot be changed if they leak or are misused
- Impersonation risk: the product manufactures a credible likeness, and the consent of the cloned person is only verified through the user's own declaration
- Erosion of authenticity for an audience that believes it is being addressed by a person while watching an automated render
- Approval fatigue: clearing a week of drafts in under five minutes encourages rubber-stamping, which hollows out the very safeguard the product is built on
- Skill loss: delegating writing and speaking can atrophy the ability to formulate your own message
- Platform dependence and hosting opacity: the corpus, the twin and the approval history all live with the vendor, and no storage jurisdiction is published while biometric data is processed
- Compliance exposure: the duty to disclose AI-generated content is left to the user's judgement in contexts where it matters, and without a data processing agreement or certification, use inside a regulated organization carries risk
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Setup is easy and requires no code. An account is created with an email and password or through Google sign-in, and the heaviest step is one recording session of about five minutes to build the twin. The rest consists of authorizing connectors through OAuth-style flows (Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Gmail, Google Drive, calendar) and defining business rules such as trigger types and profiles to monitor. No video editing skill is needed. The only technical point is MCP and API access, reserved for the Studio plan and undocumented publicly. As LinkedIn auto-posting is not delivered, publishing needs a manual action.

Should you pick Gemelo?
Gemelo has a clear, well-bounded promise: the LinkedIn video you would have filmed yourself, produced in your place and published under your control. The differentiator the vendor puts forward is the approval spine, where the twin drafts, the human decides and nothing ships without a tap, which sets it apart from agents that publish on their own. The second design choice worth noting is the grounding: the twin reads the CRM, the documents and the messages a team already produces, rather than waiting for prompts.
The product is still young. In early access appears on every page, and several headline functions are announced rather than delivered, including LinkedIn auto-posting, the real-time meeting agent, the voice agent and the calendar hand-off.
Legal transparency is average. The terms of service and the privacy policy are complete and dated 5 January 2026, but they live on the application subdomain, and the site publishes no postal address, no hosting country, no data processing agreement, no EU representative and no certification. Since the product processes biometric data, that gap deserves serious consideration before adoption, particularly inside a regulated organization.
Pricing is readable, from USD 29.99 to USD 199.99 per month, though a credit system whose scale is only visible inside the application complicates the real cost, and the free plan does not allow video creation. The performance figures shown on the home page, such as 10x more posts, 90% less filming time, a 3.2x reply rate and a 340% ROAS increase, are advertiser claims published without methodology and should be read as such.
Gemelo suits founders, sales teams and content managers who want a steady video cadence and accept a cloned likeness. Anyone with strict hosting, contractual or certification requirements should look closely before committing.
