What is Gologin?
Gologin is an antidetect browser: a Chromium-based application, named Orbita in the terms of service, in which every browser profile presents a distinct digital fingerprint. The problem it addresses is simple. On an ordinary browser, all the accounts you open share one identity, so a single flagged account puts the others at risk. Gologin isolates each profile at fingerprint level, covering the device, operating system, time zone, geolocation, 2D canvas, WebGL, WebRTC, DNS, fonts, plugins and CPU, RAM and GPU values. The home page states that 53 fingerprint parameters are configured automatically, the features page counts more than 50 hardware and software parameters, and the company compares the result to "a Virtual Machine, but 12x cheaper and faster". Location is handled inside the app. Residential, mobile and datacenter proxies can be bought directly in Gologin across 195 countries, with 2 GB of residential traffic included every month on any paid plan; third-party proxies are accepted without limit and can be pasted in bulk. GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete but incomplete. Section 7 of the privacy policy, titled "Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)", lists access, rectification and erasure, objection and restriction, telemetry deactivation, portability and withdrawal of consent; rights are exercised by emailing support@gologin.com. Each processing purpose is mapped to a legal basis, and the policy states: "If data is transferred outside the EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or other legal safeguards." It also states: "No automated decision-making: we do not use profiling or automatic decisions." The cookie policy requires explicit banner consent "in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Directive". The minimum age is 16. Three gaps remain: no data processing agreement is published or offered on request, no data protection officer is named, and no EU representative under Article 27 is designated.
Who owns the data?
The privacy policy names Gologin LLC (USA) as the main data controller for all Gologin products, including the website, the desktop application and the npm packages. That entity differs from GOLESS S.a r.l., the company named first in the terms of service. Gologin states that its team has no access to the content of browser profiles, that only the user can see it, and that it never sells user data. Account, billing and telemetry data, by contrast, are held by the publisher and shared with named subprocessors. Browser profiles on an unconverted trial account are deleted automatically after 180 days without payment. The policy is dated 5 June 2025.
Reuse rights
Gologin says it collects only what is necessary to provide and improve its services: email address, an optional Telegram handle, IP address, device type, operating system, app version, workspace ID, crash logs, settings, activity logs and support messages. Payments go through third-party providers and the company states it never stores a full card number. Special categories are explicitly excluded: "We do NOT collect special categories of data (health, religion, biometrics, or children's data)." The stated purposes are account management, service delivery and improvement, diagnostics through Sentry, communication, fraud prevention, payment and tax obligations, and aggregated analytics, each mapped to a legal basis (contract, legitimate interest, legal obligation or consent). Twelve subprocessors are named: Stripe, Paddle, PayPal, Cryptomus, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Intercom, SendGrid, Brevo and Sentry. Advertising networks such as Bing Ads, Quora Ads and Reddit Ads receive no personal data directly, and telemetry can be switched off with GOLOGIN_TELEMETRY=0. Nothing in the published sources mentions AI model training on customer data.

The privacy policy commits to no specific data residency: "Your data may be processed in the USA, EU, or other countries." The phrase "or other countries" leaves the list open-ended and non-binding. Two hosting providers appear among the twelve named subprocessors: Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. The home page states that Gologin leverages AWS and Google Cloud for load balancing, and its FAQ says that Gologin uses AWS for data storage. Transfers outside the EEA are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal safeguards. The public website itself sits behind Cloudflare, on an anycast address (104.20.17.216) that reflects a CDN node rather than an origin server. In practice this means a United States hosting jurisdiction alongside a stated EU presence, named cloud providers, SCC-based transfer mechanics, and no contractual guarantee that a given customer's data will remain in a chosen region.
