Hausey is a browser-based AI remodeling visualization and virtual staging service. You upload one photograph of a real room or facade and it returns up to ten complete design directions, each with its own materials, palette, lighting and composition rather than a filter laid over the original. Paid plans deliver the whole batch in under sixty seconds, the vendor citing measured runs of forty-one to fifty-eight seconds depending on image complexity; the free plan produces four. GDPR overview
The privacy policy, effective 20 April 2026, is explicit and unusually detailed for so young a product. It names a legal basis for every processing purpose, lists the rights of data subjects in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, complaint to a supervisory authority), and gives privacy@hausey.ai as the single point of contact with a one-month response commitment. International transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses 2021/914/EU together with transfer-impact assessments, and personal-data breaches are notified within the seventy-two hours the regulation requires. Sub-processors are named individually. Two gaps remain visible: no EU representative is designated under Article 27, and no data processing agreement is published or offered.
Who owns the data?
Under the Terms of Service, you keep every right in the photographs, reference images, prompts and notes you upload, and you also own the AI-generated outputs produced from them, which the vendor states may be used commercially. Hausey takes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free and transferable licence over your content, limited to hosting, storing, processing and displaying it in order to run, secure and improve the service, meet legal obligations and enforce its terms; that licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from legally required copies and de-identified aggregates. Hausey's own software, trademarks and brand assets remain its exclusive property. Outputs carry no exclusivity: similar prompts may produce similar results for other users.
Reuse rights
You may reuse both your uploads and the generated images without asking permission: ownership of outputs is granted in the Terms, and the site confirms that images can be downloaded in HD, exported as PDF, shared with clients and used commercially, including in paid advertising subject to each platform's rules. Two limits apply. You remain responsible for holding the rights to whatever you upload and for complying with disclosure obligations when you publish staged property images, since the vendor presents its disclosure text as a convenience and not as legal advice. And you may not use the service, or its outputs, to train a competing generative model or to misrepresent a property, both of which the acceptable-use clause forbids.
