HeadshotPro
HeadshotPro turns a handful of selfies into 30 to 70 studio-quality professional headshots in under 30 minutes. It serves individuals and whole teams, charges once from 29 USD, and never trains its models on customer photos.
What is HeadshotPro?
HeadshotPro is an AI headshot generator operated by Headshot Pro Photography Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. The idea is deliberately narrow: you upload a handful of selfies taken on a phone or laptop, choose the backdrops and outfits you want, and a finished set of professional portraits comes back. There is no studio to book, no photographer to brief and no appointment to keep.
Volumes depend on the package. The entry tier returns 30 headshots in roughly two hours, the middle tier 50 in about half an hour, and the top tier 70 in as little as fifteen minutes, with 4K downloads and both portrait and landscape formats. The style library is large: more than a hundred backdrops, outfits grouped by gender that run from suits and blouses to scrubs and casual wear, and a Choose for me button that pairs them automatically. Uploaded selfies are checked before generation so unusable photos are flagged rather than wasted.
After generation, a built-in profile picture editor crops to a platform's exact dimensions and adds a shape, border, background, logo or text. Each person also receives retouch credits to change a backdrop, swap an outfit, remove a blemish or widen the framing.
The team side is where the product goes beyond a novelty. An administrator locks the style pool, invites colleagues by email or by a domain-restricted link, and automatic reminders chase the stragglers. Progress is tracked, results download in bulk, and member statuses export to CSV. Larger organisations add SAML single sign-on through WorkOS with Entra ID, Okta or Google Workspace, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, admin MFA, a signed master service agreement and net-30 invoicing.
The company claims more than 250,000 customers, 217,879 purchases between 2023 and 2026, seventeen million generated headshots and a 4.7 Trustpilot rating from 3,547 reviews. There is no mobile app or browser extension: the product is web only, plus a documented REST API. A separate free tool returns one HD headshot with no sign-up and no card.
What it does
- Generate 30 to 70 professional headshots from a few ordinary selfies
- Pick from thousands of backdrop and outfit combinations, or let the AI pair them
- Retouch a shot: change the backdrop, swap the outfit, remove a blemish, add headroom
- Crop and brand a profile picture with a logo, colour and shape for LinkedIn, Slack, email or print
- Run a whole team's shoot from one dashboard, with invites, automatic reminders and bulk download
- Lock a style pool so every colleague's photo matches the same backdrop and wardrobe rules
- Wire the flow into internal systems through a REST API, signed webhooks or a native Zapier app
When to use HeadshotPro / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if HeadshotPro is the right fit.
When to use HeadshotPro
- Professionals whose LinkedIn photo, CV or speaker bio is years out of date and who want a current portrait the same day
- Sales teams that need every representative to show up in proposals and on the company page with a matching headshot
- HR and people-operations leads rolling out headshots across dozens of offices, including same-day photos for new hires
- Law firms, brokerages and consultancies whose client-facing staff are scattered across cities where booking a photographer is slow and uneven
- Job seekers, freelancers and founders working on a tight budget, for whom a 29 USD package replaces a 300 to 800 USD studio session
When not to use HeadshotPro
- Anyone who specifically wants a portrait shot by a human photographer, with real art direction on the day
- People who need photography other than portraits: product shots, events, reportage or group pictures are outside the tool's scope
- Organisations whose policy forbids AI-generated imagery on public profiles or in official directories
- Teams that only need standardised identity photos for access badges and HR systems, which fall under a separate sales-quoted line
- Anyone under 18, who is excluded by the terms of service
How to use HeadshotPro
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open the free generator first if you want to judge the output: one HD headshot comes back in five to ten minutes with no sign-up and no card
- Choose a package, or create an organisation and buy credits if you are shooting a whole team
- Upload a few selfies from your phone or laptop, using the quick upload or capturing them on the spot
- Let the automatic check flag any photo that will not produce a usable result, and follow the published guidelines on lighting, angles and group shots
- Pick your styles from the backdrop and outfit library, or tap the automatic pairing option
- Wait for the set: fifteen minutes to two hours depending on the package
- Review the results and download individual JPEG files or the whole set as a ZIP, with an optional 4K upscale on the top tier
- Spend your retouch credits to change a backdrop, swap an outfit, remove a blemish or add headroom, and use the free redo within fourteen days if the set misses
- Brand the keeper in the profile picture editor, then crop it to the platform you need
- For a team rollout: lock the style pool, invite by email or domain-restricted link, let reminders run, then bulk download and export statuses to CSV
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Entry price of 29 USD against the 300 to 800 USD the site attributes to a studio session, with results in under half an hour
- No subscription of any kind: packages are paid once and team credits never expire
- Money-back guarantee with no deadline, alongside a claimed 96.7 percent satisfaction and a 3.3 percent refund rate over 217,879 purchases
- Explicit and unconditional commitment never to train models on customer photos, with input images auto-deleted after 30 days
- Unusually complete public compliance material: published DPA, named sub-processor list, SOC 2 Type II, dated security policy and EEA data residency by default
- Team tooling rarely found at this price: style pools, reminders, CSV export, REST API, webhooks, Zapier and single sign-on
- Single sign-on billed at the identity provider's cost with no markup, and a free no-sign-up tool to test the output first
Cons
- Output quality depends heavily on the selfies supplied, and the site only guarantees one usable portrait per order
- The comparison article hosted on the site is written by the founder, who acknowledges the bias himself
- 4K upscale and the free redo are absent from the 29 USD entry package
- Single sign-on is a paid add-on outside Enterprise, and SCIM and white-label embedding are Enterprise add-ons
- Download links last only seven days and input photos disappear after thirty, so nothing can be regenerated afterwards
- No mobile app, no browser extension and no interface language other than English
- Application servers sit in the United States even though storage defaults to the EEA, and disputes go to binding arbitration under Singapore law

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how HeadshotPro handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly, alongside Singapore law, and it is backed by concrete artefacts rather than a single sentence. The privacy policy lists the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, exercised through support@headshotpro.com. A full data processing agreement is published and can also be signed individually via legal@headshotpro.com. Transfers rely on the EU standard contractual clauses and the UK IDTA, with the ICO named as competent authority for the latter. An Article 27 representative in the European Union is designated: iuro Rechtsanwaelte GmbH, trading as Prighter, in Vienna. A named sub-processor list is published, with advance notice before any addition, and a SOC 2 Type II report is available through the Trust Center.
Who owns the data?
The privacy policy states plainly that the user owns their information, and the enterprise pages repeat that employee photos stay with the customer. In the data processing agreement the customer is the controller and HeadshotPro the processor, so instructions about the images come from the customer. Finished headshots are downloaded as individual JPEG files or as a ZIP archive, with download links valid for seven days. HeadshotPro may share personal data with partners strictly to deliver the service, with anonymised usage data for analytics, and with courts or law enforcement on a valid legal request, in which case it may act without notifying the person concerned.
Reuse rights
Customers can reuse the generated headshots freely on the profiles and materials they were made for: LinkedIn, CVs, team pages, sales decks, speaker bios and company websites, which is the stated purpose of the service. Nothing on the site requires further permission for that use. On HeadshotPro's side, the declared purposes are narrow: giving access to the platform, processing payments, sending order status and opt-in communications, and improving the service through anonymised usage data. One exclusion is stated as an absolute commitment with no exception: uploaded photos and generated headshots are never used to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve any AI model, whether HeadshotPro's own or a third party's.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Customer photos and generated headshots are stored at rest in the European Economic Area by default, on Cloudflare R2 in Western Europe. A failover copy is replicated in encrypted form to Google Cloud Storage in the United States, for backup and disaster recovery only, while the application servers themselves run in the United States on Render, hosted on AWS. Data sits in a multi-tenant environment with logical separation enforced at application level, encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 256-bit in transit, over 100 percent HTTPS. The named infrastructure sub-processors are Render, Vercel, Google Cloud Platform, MongoDB, Replicate, Fal.ai, Cloudflare, OpenAI and Google Gemini. One point deserves attention: the security policy presents EEA storage as the default, while the sub-processor page states that the production systems hosting customer content are in facilities in the United States. The two statements are worth reconciling with the vendor before a sensitive deployment.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting HeadshotPro.
- Input photos are deleted automatically thirty days after generation and download links last only seven days, so anything you have not saved is gone for good
- The set you receive is only as good as the selfies you supply, and treating one flattering AI portrait as your permanent professional face can drift a long way from how you actually look
- An AI headshot is a representation, not a photograph: using one where a genuine likeness is expected, such as an identity check or a first meeting, invites an awkward gap
- Facial images are close to biometric data, and even with a strong no-training commitment you are handing your face to a third party and its sub-processors
- The comparison content hosted on the site is written by the founder, so it should not be read as an independent benchmark
- Application servers run in the United States even when storage defaults to the European Economic Area, and the sub-processor page describes production systems as US-based, which is worth clarifying before a sensitive rollout
- Disputes go to binding arbitration under Singapore law through the SIAC, with only a thirty-day window to opt out of that clause
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for an individual: nothing to install, everything happens in the browser, and the free tool needs no account at all. Uploading a few selfies is the whole setup. For a team, an administrator creates the organisation, picks the style pool and sends invitations, which the site puts at around ten minutes; sign-in is passwordless through a magic link. Only the optional layers need technical skills: REST API keys, HMAC-signed webhooks, Zapier scenarios, SAML single sign-on through WorkOS and SCIM provisioning.

Should you pick HeadshotPro?
HeadshotPro does one thing and does it thoroughly: it replaces a studio portrait session with a few selfies and a half-hour wait. That focus is the reason it works. The pricing is unusually legible for this market, with one-time packages from 29 USD, credits that never expire and no subscription anywhere in the funnel, and the money-back guarantee carries no deadline.
What separates it from the many look-alike headshot generators is the team layer and the paperwork behind it. An administrator can lock a style pool, invite an entire company by domain-restricted link, let automatic reminders do the chasing and export statuses to CSV, while a REST API, signed webhooks and a Zapier app carry the results into internal systems. The compliance material is more complete than the category norm: a published data processing agreement, a named sub-processor list, a SOC 2 Type II programme, a dated security policy, EEA storage by default and an unconditional promise never to train models on customer photos.
The reservations are real but bounded. Results vary with the quality of the selfies uploaded, and the site is candid that only one usable portrait is guaranteed per order. The 4K upscale and the free redo are reserved for the higher packages, single sign-on costs extra outside Enterprise, and input photos vanish after thirty days. Application servers run in the United States even where storage is European, and disputes go to arbitration under Singapore law.
For a professional refreshing a stale profile photo, or an operations lead who has to put a consistent portrait on forty office pages, the arithmetic is straightforward. Anyone who wants a human photographer's eye should still book one.
