What is isvisible.ai?
isvisible.ai is a free AI visibility audit published by Hardal Inc and online since 2026. Its premise is stated on the home page: AI assistants are becoming the new front door to the web. A site that blocks the crawlers those assistants rely on cannot be quoted or recommended in their answers, however well it ranks in classic search.
The check runs in three steps: enter a URL, let the tool analyse access, read the report. What lifts it above a plain robots.txt viewer is that it combines two very different signals. First it reads the declared rules — the domain's robots.txt and, where it exists, its llms.txt. Where neither robots.txt nor the live probe returns anything usable, the agent points count at half weight. Results are cached per domain for roughly 60 minutes.
The deliverables are the score and grade, the agent-by-agent access map, the search/training/answer breakdown, the scoring methodology, and a one-page PDF report. Three access surfaces exist: the web page itself, a REST API at POST /api/is-visible, and an MCP server at /api/mcp exposing a check_ai_visibility tool. Compliance is claimed at publisher level rather than at tool level. The privacy policy specific to isvisible.ai, updated 27 July 2026, never names the GDPR. Hardal's general policy, updated 01.10.2025, does: it sets out access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and names two data protection officers, Berkay Demirbas and Baris Gurbuzler, reachable at support@usehardal.com.
