The company was started in 2019 by a group of engineers tired of writing CRUD code, API glue and CSS. It began as a no-code builder for mini-programs in partnership with a large platform, reaching 130,000 users and 3,000 projects within two years, then moved to the open web in 2022 on Amazon Web Services. Finally, a visual agent builder wires language models to business data, tools and structured output: pre-integrated models include OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Qwen and Cohere, and you may bring your own.
Momen positions itself past the prototype stage. It claims support for up to one million daily active users, offers permissions combining RBAC and ABAC down to row and column level, and keeps escape hatches for developers, namely React components, JavaScript logic, a self-documenting GraphQL API and searchable logs. Growth features follow: native SEO, custom domains, white labelling, multi-client support for SaaS, and payments through Stripe or Airwallex. Up to thirty people can collaborate on a project.
Its own page for AI apps sums the ambition up as n8n + Supabase + Framer. The showcased cases match that framing: a card-collection marketplace reporting $400K annual revenue across four million SKUs, and a community running a RAG-based AI search assistant that was monetised in a week.

GDPR overview
Momen's implementation is partial and never claimed outright. The privacy policy does devote a section to the legal bases for processing EU personal data, listing legal compliance, legitimate interests, contract, necessity and consent, which is explicit GDPR vocabulary. Beyond that the record thins out. No Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer or dedicated privacy address exists, and the only legal contact is bd@momen.app. The company and its hosting are entirely American, with no EU entity or address. The sections on international transfers and data subject rights are presented as essential by the policy itself, yet are absent from the published page. GDPR appears elsewhere only as a commercial argument for the bring-your-own-cloud option, which lets customers deploy on their own AWS account to meet residency requirements.
Who owns the data?
Momen's privacy policy, effective 1 March 2023, identifies the data controller only by a postal address in Wilmington, Delaware. It separates Direct Users, who hold an account and build applications, from End Users, who merely visit a site built on Momen, and it covers momen.app, every user-built site hosted by Momen and the template marketplace. The terms let you export your data and delete your account from the Personal Center; deletion permanently removes your profile, credits, coupons, usage records and notifications. Projects you solely own are destroyed with the account, while projects you only collaborate on survive. The published sections assert no ownership claim over customer content.
Reuse rights
The published sections set out five legal bases for processing EU personal data, namely legal compliance, legitimate interests, contract, necessity and consent, and confirm that consent may be withdrawn at any time. Accepting the policy and the terms is mandatory before using the platform. Beyond that, Momen says remarkably little. The two sections the policy itself flags as essential, International Data Transfer and Your Rights, are announced but never rendered on the page. Nothing on the site states whether customer data is used to train AI models, and no opt-out is documented. Because agents can call OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Qwen or Cohere, data reaches third parties that Momen nowhere lists.

Hosting summary
Momen states on every page of its site that it is made and hosted in the United States, and the infrastructure is Amazon Web Services, claimed both on the About page and the feature index. The jurisdiction is therefore American: Momen Technologies Inc. is registered in Wilmington, Delaware, and no EU entity, EU address or EU hosting region is announced anywhere. Two options exist for customers with stricter requirements. A dedicated instance is sold as an add-on, and a bring-your-own-cloud deployment lets you run Momen on your own AWS account, which the pricing page presents explicitly as the way to meet GDPR and data residency requirements. One question in the pricing FAQ asks where data is stored and whether the region can be chosen, but its answer is not rendered on the page, so the default region policy could not be confirmed. Note finally that the domain is served behind Cloudflare, whose anycast address says nothing about where data actually rests.
