GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is explicit and concrete. The privacy policy, last revised on 18 December 2025, names Neolemon as data controller and states that the service is operated by Sachin Kamath, registered in Portugal under NIF 318052067. It designates the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissao Nacional de Protecao de Dados, for complaints. It sets out the legal bases relied on, enumerates the full set of data subject rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent — and commits to a 30-day response. Transfers outside the European Union are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions. No Article 27 representative is designated, which is consistent with a controller established inside the EU, and no data protection officer is named.
Who owns the data?
The terms of service state that images are generated at the user's request and grant a non-exclusive licence to use them commercially, but only for images created while a paid subscription is active; anything generated outside an active subscription may not be used commercially. Within that limit the licence covers books, marketing materials, merchandise and other creative projects. Users remain responsible for every prompt and image they submit or generate. Neolemon keeps exclusive ownership of the underlying software, models, data and infrastructure, together with its name, logo and brand identifiers, and prohibits reverse engineering, sublicensing and resale of the service.
