Artemis is a Swiss AI assistant built for therapy and special-needs education professionals: speech and language therapists, remedial educators working in early intervention, occupational therapists and physiotherapists. It is published by Olymp AG of Küsnacht, near Zurich, alongside a separate product aimed at independent wealth managers. This record covers Artemis only.
The working principle is dictation instead of typing. After a session, the practitioner opens the client file and speaks for roughly sixty to ninety seconds in Swiss German or standard German. Artemis transcribes what was said, including specialist vocabulary and the pre-linguistic utterances of young children, and then drafts the document that would otherwise have been written by hand. The publisher describes three steps: dictate, draft, then review and export.
What sets the tool apart is that the draft is poured into the practitioner's own structure. Artemis uses cantonal templates or templates uploaded by the practice, so a report comes out in the format the authority or the employer already expects. The product page shows a completed early-intervention closing report with six of seven fields populated automatically from the spoken notes.

One reference is named and checkable: the IGFF Zürich professional association has been running Artemis in production for around forty early-intervention specialists since the summer of 2025.
Security is the second pillar. Production systems that hold customer data sit in Switzerland, that data is never used to train or fine-tune AI models, and prompts and outputs are not retained beyond processing. Authorship, professional judgement and final sign-off stay with the practitioner. Artemis runs in a browser, and the publisher's website is available in German only.

GDPR overview
The privacy policy, effective 22 April 2026, names the Swiss Data Protection Act, its ordinance, and the GDPR where applicable. It lists the full set of rights: access and a copy, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection including profiling, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or an EU supervisory authority. Customer data is processed under a data processing agreement, and every subprocessor is bound by a written contract imposing at least equivalent obligations. Artemis is described as designed to uphold the confidentiality duties of Swiss therapy professionals. Two gaps are worth noting: no EU representative under Article 27 is designated even though the GDPR is invoked, and no data protection officer is named. Who owns the data?
Client records, uploaded documents and everything generated inside Artemis are treated as the customer's data. For these, Olymp AG acts as a processor working on the customer's instructions under a data processing agreement, while the practice remains the controller; requests from data subjects are therefore directed to the practice, which Olymp supports. Olymp is controller in its own right only for visitor, prospect, account and correspondence data. The software itself stays the publisher's property and no ownership passes to the user. Authorship of the documents produced is explicitly said to remain with the practitioner, who reviews, completes and signs off every draft.
Reuse rights
The publisher states the purposes plainly: running and improving its products and their associated APIs, handling billing and support, keeping the infrastructure secure, meeting legal obligations, and sending administrative or lawful marketing messages. Product analytics are said to use aggregated or pseudonymised data only. The decisive commitment for a therapy practice is that customer data is never used to train, fine-tune or improve an AI model, neither by Olymp nor by its model providers, and that AI prompts and outputs are not kept beyond the time needed to process them. Customer data does not leave Switzerland in ordinary service delivery; only contact and contract metadata may reach international internal tools, under EU standard contractual clauses and, where relevant, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. All production systems that store or process customer data are located in Switzerland. Application and database hosting runs on Hostpoint AG in Rapperswil-Jona, a Swiss-owned provider operating in Switzerland, while AI and large language model processing runs exclusively on Azure Switzerland North in the Zurich region, with no production workloads deployed outside the country. Depending on the use case, the publisher uses models in Swiss cloud environments or self-hosted open-source models on Swiss infrastructure. Customer data processed through Artemis does not leave Switzerland in ordinary service delivery. The publisher draws one explicit boundary around that promise: it covers production customer data, whereas contact and contract metadata may pass through international internal tools such as CRM and analytics, under EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Data is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AES-256 at rest across databases, object storage and backups.

Artemis is a deliberately narrow product: one professional field, one country, one language. That narrowness is its strength. Instead of offering a general writing assistant, it targets the specific evening burden of Swiss therapy and special-needs education work, where reports, support plans, progress records and parent letters accumulate after the sessions themselves are over. Dictating for a minute and receiving a draft already poured into your own cantonal template is a far more concrete promise than most productivity tools make.
The security argument is the second reason to take it seriously, and it holds up better than the usual marketing about sovereignty. The publisher names its infrastructure providers, names the Swiss processing region, extends the no-training commitment to its model suppliers, and states that prompts and outputs are not retained.
