Overview

What is Parallel AI?

Parallel AI is an all-in-one artificial intelligence platform built around go-to-market work: sales, marketing, support and the operations sitting between them. Published by JSR Comms LLC in the United States, it positions itself as a replacement for the eight to twelve disconnected tools a growth team typically pays for, with users reporting savings of USD 300 to 800 a month.

Six modules carry the product. Smart Lists finds, enriches and qualifies prospects. Sequences runs multichannel outreach. AI Employees are the centrepiece: configured roles with a name, job title, system prompt and department, each with a knowledge base and individually enabled capabilities drawn from more than a thousand integrations. Content Engine, Support Agents and an AI Receptionist handle publishing, tickets and inbound calls.

What separates an AI Employee from a chat window is the heartbeat. It wakes itself on an interval between five minutes and 24 hours, bounded by working hours and active days, reads its own log from the previous run and picks up where it stopped. Every run is scored from 0 to 100 by a separate model with a written justification, and the Scheduled page shows an average per task alongside a sparkline of recent runs. Employees keep persistent memory of facts, preferences and instructions, with a scope you set at one conversation, one company or the whole account, and a specialist can hand a task to a colleague without routing it back through you.

Model choice is broad: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, xAI, DeepSeek and more, over 50 models in all, with per-employee control over model, temperature and reasoning effort. The platform is deliberately headless as well: every function can be driven by text or voice through the Executive Assistant, or from any MCP client such as Claude Code or Cursor, alongside a documented REST API with drop-in OpenAI compatibility and n8n nodes published on npm.

Everything runs on credits, from 0.1 for a budget model to 50 for a proxied browser task. Onboarding is advertised at five minutes with no code, and agencies get a full white-label instance with a revenue share of at least 30%.

What it does

  • Generate and enrich prospect lists from a plain-English description of your target, through Smart Lists
  • Run personalised multichannel sequences across email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and phone
  • Build named AI Employees with a role, a knowledge base and their own tools, running autonomously
  • Produce content at volume: blog articles, social posts, emails, landing pages, images, audio and video
  • Deploy support agents and an AI receptionist across your website, SMS, WhatsApp and voice
  • Automate workflows through native n8n nodes, the REST API or the MCP server
  • Resell the whole platform white-labelled, on your own domain and your own price list

When to use Parallel AI / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Parallel AI is the right fit.

When to use Parallel AI

  • Marketing agencies that want to resell AI under their own brand: a rebranded white-label instance is included from the Entrepreneur plan, with client billing through the reseller's own Stripe account.
  • Small go-to-market teams paying for a stack of separate tools; one cited four-person agency was spending USD 2,000 a month on tooling before consolidating and scaling to 20 clients.
  • B2B startups with no SDR function, where Smart Lists and Sequences do the prospecting; one case study reports going from zero to 50 demos a month.
  • Sales organisations sitting on dormant lead lists, such as the real estate broker who reworked 847 leads and reports closing rates moving from 8% to 16%.
  • High-volume e-commerce brands and appointment-based businesses losing calls after hours: 300 messages a day handled, 80% of routine questions resolved, full call coverage and no-shows reported down 35%.

When not to use Parallel AI

  • Consumers looking for a personal AI assistant: the platform is sold per company, with pooled seats and shared credit allocations.
  • Anyone under 18, since sections 2 and 4 of the terms of service bar access below that age.
  • Teams that require documented European hosting, as no hosting country or region is published anywhere on the site.
  • Buyers whose procurement requires an achieved SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 posture, or HIPAA coverage today: all three are announced for Q4 2026 and none is obtained.
  • Organisations that need a signed customer DPA, or whose intended use falls under the prohibitions in section 6 of the terms: deceptive deepfakes, fraudulent content, spam and phishing, or building a competing product.
Get started

How to use Parallel AI

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account on the Parallel AI sign-up page. No credit card is required.
  2. Run the guided onboarding, advertised at five minutes: connect a mailbox and give your website URL.
  3. Review what onboarding produces on its own: an ideal customer profile (demographics, pain points, buying triggers, targeting rules), a content strategy and editorial calendar, social posts and articles, 50 verified leads, an email sequence and a website AI agent with its embed code.
  4. Create your first AI Employee, either from a pre-built persona or by describing the job. Only the job title is mandatory; the name and system prompt can be generated for you.
  5. Attach documents or folders to its knowledge base and switch on the capabilities it needs, since everything is disabled by default.
  6. Put it to work: chat with it directly, schedule it in plain English ("every Monday at 9am", with one-off, daily, weekly or monthly recurrence), or set a heartbeat so it wakes itself between every five minutes and every 24 hours.
  7. Use the Evaluate button before going live: the platform actually runs the task, then proposes an improved prompt and explains what it changed.
  8. Build Smart Lists by describing your target in plain English; the platform queries several databases, enriches the results and pushes qualified leads into your CRM.
  9. For technical teams, issue company-scoped API keys and work against the documented REST endpoints, with pagination, error handling and retry strategies, or connect through the MCP server. Per-employee API access is listed from the Business plan.
  10. For agencies, configure the white-label instance through the four-step admin dashboard (logos, colours, pricing, feature toggles), test it with a dummy client account and go live. Most agencies take two to three days.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • One subscription covers an unusually wide scope: leads, multichannel sequences, content, support, voice, workflows and white-label resale
  • The free plan is permanent and unlocks every feature (50 credits, no credit card) rather than a stripped-down demo, and separately purchased credit packs never expire
  • REST API and MCP server are included on every plan, free tier included, with drop-in OpenAI compatibility so existing client code can be repointed without a rewrite
  • Credit costs are published action by action and model by model, a level of pricing detail rarely offered at this scale
  • Every agent run is automatically scored from 0 to 100 with a written justification and a trend line, a quality measure competitors seldom expose
  • No training on customer content by default, and zero data retention enabled wherever the model provider allows it
  • White-label from USD 99 a month with revenue share and client billing through the reseller's own Stripe, backed by SSO, MFA, RBAC, audit logs, automatic PII redaction and a full vulnerability disclosure policy with a safe-harbour commitment, PGP key and RFC 9116 security.txt

Cons

  • No certification is actually held: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are announced as in progress and HIPAA as "working towards", all targeted at Q4 2026. Only CSA STAR Level 1 and a Trusted Site seal are effective today.
  • Almost nothing is published about the publisher: no postal address on any legal page, no about page and no named team, only an unnamed "Our Founder, Featured In" block
  • No data hosting country or region is published, no Article 27 EU representative and no DPO are named despite an EEA-specific privacy section, and no customer DPA is published or advertised on request
  • The documents contradict each other: the terms require users to be 18 while the privacy policy says 13 (16 in the EEA), and the FAQ credits the Business plan with 3 companies and 9 seats where the pricing page and comparison table say 10 and 10
  • Monthly credits reset on the first and do not roll over, and real cost is hard to anticipate in advance: a browser task with a residential proxy consumes 50 credits, 2.5% of the Entrepreneur monthly allocation
  • Social proof cannot be checked: testimonials appear under prestigious affiliations with no links to the profiles, and case studies are fully anonymised with figures reported from customers' own accounts
  • No iOS or Android app; access runs through the web app, the API, the MCP server, or text and voice via the Executive Assistant

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Parallel AI handles your data.

GDPR overview

The security page claims GDPR and CCPA compliance, and the privacy policy carries a dedicated EEA section listing GDPR rights and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Legal bases are named: contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation and consent. Rights covered are access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent, exercised through privacy@parallellabs.app or a DSAR form in account settings, with a stated response window of 30 to 45 days. International transfers rely on standard contractual clauses, provider DPAs and encryption in transit, and a separate CCPA/CPRA section addresses Californian residents. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative and no DPO are named. Governing law is California, with AAA arbitration and a class-action waiver, though section 16 preserves mandatory consumer protections for EU users. Both documents were last updated on 30 May 2026.

Who owns the data?

Under section 8 of the terms, you retain ownership of the content you create, upload or input into the service. JSR Comms LLC, the controller, takes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence over it, expressly limited to providing and improving the service and revoked when the account closes. AI output generated from your inputs belongs to you, subject to third-party model provider terms, and the publisher gives no warranty on the intellectual property rights attaching to that output. One clause runs the other way: any feedback you send about the service becomes the publisher's property, usable without restriction or compensation. Data can be exported within 30 days of termination and deleted afterwards.

Reuse rights

Because AI output created from your inputs belongs to you, you can reuse, publish and commercialise it without asking permission, subject only to the terms of the third-party model providers. On the collection side, the platform gathers account details (email, name, phone, company and job title, billing address, profile photo), usage and technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited, device identifiers) and, with your authorisation, content from connected services: imported documents, CRM contacts, calendar entries and email content. Prompts, uploaded files, knowledge bases, personas and conversation history are passed to model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others. Stated purposes are service delivery, account management, contract performance, contact and similar commercial offers (with a right to object), AI processing, analytics and security. Data is shared with service providers, AI providers, affiliates, business partners, in a corporate transfer, and on consent. The publisher states it does not sell personal information for third-party marketing purposes, does not train models on your content without explicit consent, enables zero data retention wherever the provider allows it, and binds providers by DPA. Cookies cover essential, acceptance, functionality and analytics purposes, the last administered by the publisher and by third parties. Do Not Track signals are not honoured.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists, plus 30 days after deletion. Usage data is kept for up to 24 months. AI conversation history follows your account settings and can be deleted by you at any time. Billing information is kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. On termination you can export your data within 30 days and request deletion afterwards. Retention may be extended where a legal obligation, a dispute or the enforcement of the agreements requires it. On the model provider side, zero data retention is enabled wherever the option exists, so prompts and completions are not kept after the request, and logs are automatically stripped of identifying personal data. The confidentiality obligation in the terms survives for three years after the contract ends.

Hosting summary

No hosting country or region is published anywhere on the site: neither the privacy policy nor the security page names a data centre location. The privacy policy states only that data is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. The only infrastructure providers named are DigitalOcean, listed under vendor security pages, and OpenRouter as the model router; the site itself is served behind Cloudflare, which is a network observation rather than a publisher statement. On the technical side, the publisher documents encryption at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2 or above. International transfers are framed by standard contractual clauses, DPAs with providers and encryption in transit, and zero data retention is enabled with model providers wherever the option exists. An on-premise deployment is available on the Enterprise plan, which is the only route offered to a buyer with a hard localisation requirement. Anyone with a residency constraint will have to put the question to the publisher directly.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Parallel AI.

  • None of the headline certifications is held: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and HIPAA are announced for Q4 2026, not obtained. Treat any internal claim that the platform is "SOC 2 certified" as premature; only CSA STAR Level 1 and a Trusted Site seal are effective.
  • The publisher is opaque and that opacity compounds: no postal address, no company page, no named team, no published hosting country or region, no Article 27 EU representative, no DPO and no customer DPA. A buyer with a data localisation or accountability requirement will have to ask directly and get answers in writing.
  • Autonomy is the point and also the risk. Heartbeat agents wake up and act unattended, and outreach goes out in your name across email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and phone. Run quality is scored by another model, not by a human, and anti-spam compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR e-privacy) remains entirely your responsibility.
  • Budgeting is genuinely hard before you start. Everything consumes credits, the included monthly allocation resets on the first without rolling over, and a single proxied browser task costs 50 credits. Only separately purchased packs survive the month.
  • Published information is inconsistent and partly unverifiable: the terms require users to be 18 while the privacy policy says 13 (16 in the EEA), the FAQ and the pricing page disagree on Business plan limits, and every case study figure is anonymised and reported from customers' own accounts.
  • The contract is one-sided in the usual American way: mandatory individual arbitration in California, a class-action waiver, and liability capped at the greater of 12 months of fees or USD 100. Weigh that against how much of your pipeline you intend to run through the platform.
  • Watch the domain before you pay. This Parallel AI has no connection to Parallel Web Systems (parallel.ai) or to the other companies trading under the Parallel name, and confusing them at checkout is an easy mistake to make.
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low. Onboarding is advertised at five minutes with no code: connect a mailbox, give your website URL, and the platform produces a content strategy, posts, leads, an email sequence and a site-ready agent on its own. Creating an AI Employee needs only a job title, since the name and system prompt can be generated, and every capability starts disabled. An embed code drops the agent onto an existing site. Technical routes are optional: API keys, REST endpoints, MCP, n8n nodes and drop-in OpenAI compatibility. White-label setup is a four-step dashboard, two to three days for most agencies.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Pay As You Go plan costs USD 0, comes with 50 credits and gives access to every feature, with no credit card required. It is a permanent plan rather than a time-limited trial, and you top it up with credit packs that never expire.
How much does Parallel AI cost?
Paid plans start at USD 99 per month for Entrepreneur and USD 297 per month for Business, both on annual billing, while Enterprise is quoted on request. Everything on the platform runs on credits, so your real monthly cost depends on how much your agents actually do.
What exactly is a credit?
A credit is one AI action: a piece of content generated, a lead enriched, an email sent, a conversation turn. Costs are published per action and per model, from 0.1 credit for a budget model to 50 for a browser task with a residential proxy. Credits included in a plan reset on the first of each month; packs you buy separately never expire.
Do I need technical skills to use it?
No. Guided onboarding is advertised at five minutes and requires no code: you connect a mailbox, give your website URL, and the platform builds your first content, leads, sequence and agent. Technical teams still get the API and MCP server if they want them.
Is there an API?
Yes. A full REST API and an MCP server are included on every plan, including the free one, with drop-in OpenAI compatibility, published n8n nodes and documented endpoints covering pagination, error handling and retry strategies.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. The publisher states it does not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent, and enables zero data retention with model providers wherever that option exists, so prompts and completions are not kept after the request.
Which tools does it integrate with?
More than 1,000 integrations are claimed, including Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive, Gmail, Outlook, Slack, LinkedIn, Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, Shopify, Stripe, Zapier and n8n.
Can I use it for my agency's clients?
Yes. A white-label instance is included from the Entrepreneur plan, letting you rebrand the platform with your own logo, colours, domain, emails, invoices and legal pages. Additional companies cost USD 20 per month and additional seats USD 15, and the reseller keeps at least 30% of subscription value.
Is Parallel AI SOC 2 certified?
Not today. SOC 2 Type II is announced as in progress and ISO 27001 and HIPAA are at the "working towards" stage, all with a Q4 2026 target. The only certifications currently in force are CSA STAR Level 1 and a Trusted Site seal.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Your content stays yours. You can export your content, lead lists and histories within 30 days of termination and request deletion afterwards. Cancellation is one click with no penalty, and a 30-day money-back guarantee is advertised, though no pro-rata refund is given for a period already started.
Conclusion

Should you pick Parallel AI?

Parallel AI is one of the denser all-in-one platforms in this category, and it mostly earns that density: a free plan that genuinely opens every feature rather than a crippled sample, a credit price list published action by action and model by model, and an API plus MCP server available on every tier including the free one. The heartbeat loop paired with a 0-to-100 score on each run is the most interesting design decision here, because it addresses the usual complaint about automation, which is that it fails silently and nobody notices for a week. Commercially, shipping a full white-label instance at USD 99 a month undercuts a market where most publishers reserve rebranding for their top tier.

The reservations are about the publisher rather than the product. There is no postal address, no company page, no named team, no published hosting location and no certification actually obtained: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and HIPAA are all announced for Q4 2026, and only CSA STAR Level 1 and a Trusted Site seal are in force today. The social proof follows the same pattern, with testimonials carrying prestigious affiliations but no links, and case studies that are anonymised and self-reported.

The third reservation is budgetary. Because everything consumes credits and the included monthly allocation resets on the first without carrying over, the real cost is hard to project before you have run the platform for a month.

The sensible approach is to start on the free plan. Fifty credits, no card and every feature unlocked is enough to measure your own consumption and judge the quality of the agents before committing to an annual subscription, and enough to decide whether the publisher's opacity is a dealbreaker for your compliance requirements.
