Overview

What is Parthean?

Parthean For Advisors is the product the company puts forward today: an AI-assisted financial planning platform aimed at financial advisors, organised around five named pillars, Planning, Data Gathering, Data Extraction, AI Paraplanner and Client Experience.

Planning provides dedicated modules for liquidity, insurance, budget, investment, estate planning and goals, and the site insists it is not just a calculator. Data Gathering is a dynamic, customisable form builder: the advisor sends supplied templates or their own forms to clients from the platform. Data Extraction claims 15 extractors and counting, importing data straight into the platform to remove 'hours of document reading and data entry'. The AI Paraplanner is a set of agents that run extensive research and analyse a client's details to answer the advisor's questions. Client Experience is a mobile and desktop app where the end client views accounts, ticks off tasks, uploads and consults documents, tracks spending, books meetings and messages their advisor.

Six sample deliverables are published on the homepage, each with a 'SEE EXAMPLE' link to platform.parthean.com: a tax-efficient strategy, a one-page investment note, a portfolio analysis, planning opportunities, meeting preparation and a first-draft financial plan. The positioning line is explicit: 'AI won't replace you. It will enhance you.'

Behind the advisor platform sits a second, older face of the same brand. The consumer client app, still described at /client-app, covers saving and debt-repayment automations, transfers between accounts, round-ups and activity-linked saving, spending tracking, deals, portfolio monitoring, credit card optimisation, a daily newsletter and a conversational agent that answers with citations and charts. Several of these consumer features are explicitly labelled BETA, and this consumer side carries the only published price on the site.

The publisher is Parthean Inc, incorporated under New York law, with the stated mission to 'unlock financial freedom by making financial information universally accessible'. The only way into the advisor product is a scheduled demo through a HubSpot calendar; there is no self-service trial on that side. The marketing site runs on Webflow and was last published on 11/04/2025.

What it does

  • Extract data from uploaded documents (tax returns, estate plans, investment statements, insurance policies, loan statements) through 15 extractors and counting
  • Produce a first draft of a financial plan in seconds
  • Answer an advisor's questions by researching and analysing the client file through AI paraplanner agents
  • Analyse a portfolio: risk metrics, allocation by asset and by sector, optimisation suggestions
  • Surface planning opportunities and tax-efficient strategies such as loss harvesting and donor-advised funds
  • Write a one-page research note on a stock, a bond or an ETF
  • Collect client information through customisable forms and generate a client-specific meeting agenda

When to use Parthean / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Parthean is the right fit.

When to use Parthean

  • Independent financial advisors and RIAs who draft and deliver financial plans
  • Paraplanners and analysts who assemble case material ahead of client meetings
  • Advisory firms that still key in tax returns, investment statements, insurance policies and loan statements by hand
  • Wealth and tax-focused advisors looking for portfolio risk metrics, allocation breakdowns, loss harvesting and donor-advised fund angles
  • Advisors who want to extend their service with a client-facing app for accounts, tasks, documents, spending, scheduling and messaging

When not to use Parthean

  • Teams that need an API or developer documentation: Parthean publishes neither, so custom integration is not possible
  • Buyers who expect to purchase on their own, without sales contact: the advisor platform has no published price and a scheduled demo is the only route in
  • Anyone looking for investment recommendations: the tool states it will never make a decision or recommend a trade, and the footer disclaimer rules out financial, investment and tax advice
  • Users outside the English-speaking, US banking context: the site and its documents are in English only, and the consumer money features run on US rails (Plaid, Dwolla, Method) with a US Social Security number required
  • Firms with a strict procurement or compliance checklist: no security certification (SOC 2, ISO 27001), no published DPA or subprocessor list, no EU Article 27 representative and no postal address anywhere on the site

  3. Once the account is opened, sign in to the platform at platform.parthean.com
  4. Build the client file by sending a form: a supplied template or one assembled in the dynamic form builder (onboarding, risk tolerance, document upload)
  5. Upload the client's documents (tax return, estate plan, investment statement, insurance policy, loan statement) and let the extractors import the data
  6. Open the relevant planning modules: liquidity, insurance, budget, investment, estate, goals
  7. Query the paraplanner agents for research, analysis or a documented answer on the file
  8. Generate the deliverable you need: first-draft plan, one-page note, portfolio analysis, list of opportunities, meeting agenda

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Covers the whole advisor chain, from gathering and extraction to planning, research, deliverable and client experience, instead of stitching separate tools together
  • Six sample deliverables are published and can be opened, which is rare in this market
  • Document extraction targets the most time-consuming task in a practice: reading documents and keying in data
  • The tool explicitly refuses to recommend a trade, which limits regulatory exposure for the advisor
  • The client app extends the service to the end client, with messaging and meeting booking
  • The privacy policy addresses legal bases and GDPR rights explicitly
  • Security claims are stated in detail (encryption, SSL and TLS, no resale of data, anonymised processing with personally identifiable information kept out of the AI algorithms), and the company names its investors and its team on the site

Cons

  • Signs of dormancy verified on 13/08/2026: platform.parthean.com does not respond, the iOS app is no longer on the App Store, the marketing site has not been republished since 11/04/2025, the blog stops on 15/04/2024 and the careers page shows 'No open roles at this time'
  • No published pricing for the advisor platform: booking a demo is the only route in
  • No pricing page, no API and no developer documentation
  • Legal documents out of step with the product on display: a privacy policy dated 06/02/2022 and terms dated 22/01/2024 that describe the earlier consumer app (Plaid, Dwolla, the Parthean coach) rather than the advisor platform
  • No security certification claimed (neither SOC 2 nor ISO 27001), no DPA and no subprocessor list
  • No written commitment on training models from customer data and no opt-out option, and no postal address published anywhere on the site
  • No retention period stated in months or years, and the consumer automation features carry a BETA label
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

There is no permanent free plan. The advisor platform, Parthean For Advisors, carries no published price: the homepage offers only a 'Schedule a Demo' booking. The single price shown anywhere on the site appears on the client application page, and it applies to that consumer application, not to the advisor platform: Parthean Membership at USD 14.99 per month or USD 119.99 per year. A one-month free trial is offered on that subscription and can be cancelled at any time; after it, billing follows the plan chosen. No discount, student rate or preferential pricing is mentioned.

Plan 1
  • Parthean Membership
  • USD 14.99 per month
  • on the consumer client application
Stated plan contents
  • full access to AI analysis on linked accounts
  • unlimited financial accounts
  • unlimited transfers and automations
Plan 4
  • One-month free trial before billing starts
  • on the client application subscription only
Parthean For Advisors
  • no published plan and no published price
  • access granted after a scheduled demo
Prices and plans listed above may evolve. Always check the official pricing page before subscribing.

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Parthean handles your data.

GDPR overview

The privacy policy devotes two named sections to the General Data Protection Regulation: section 4, on the legal basis for processing personal data, and section 10, on your data protection rights. Four legal bases are stated: performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interest not overridden by the individual's rights, and legal obligation. EEA residents are told they may access, update or delete their data, obtain rectification, object, ask for restriction, request portability, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority; identity may be verified first. Parthean declares itself data controller. Absent: any explicit compliance claim, an Article 27 EU representative, a named DPO and a published DPA. Requests go to one address, arman@parthean.com. The policy took effect on 06/02/2022, before the advisor product now shown on the homepage, and section 9 states that Do Not Track signals are not honoured.

Who owns the data?

Section 2 of the terms of service states that you retain all rights to the content you submit, post or display through the Service, and remain responsible for protecting them. Posting content grants Parthean Inc the right and licence to use, modify, perform, display, reproduce and distribute it on and through the Service, and Parthean may monitor and edit user content without being obliged to. Content belonging to the Service itself stays Parthean's property. The privacy policy names Parthean as data controller and warns that personal data may be transferred in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, with prior notice. Parthean states that it never sells user data.

Reuse rights

Your own content stays yours: because you retain your rights over it, you can reuse it freely without asking Parthean. The reverse applies to content belonging to the Service, which the terms of service say you may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, repost or copy, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or personal gain, without express advance written permission. On Parthean's side, section 3 of the privacy policy lists what your data is used for: providing and maintaining the Service, notifying you of changes, enabling interactive features, support, analytics, usage monitoring, detecting and fixing technical issues, and sending commercial offers and information unless you opt out, which section 2 says you do through the unsubscribe link. Section 11 names Google Analytics as an analytics provider and points to its browser opt-out add-on. No clause on the site addresses the training of AI models on customer data. The client app page states that all data is processed by the algorithms in anonymised form and that personally identifiable information is not processed by the AI algorithms.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Parthean keeps personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in its privacy policy (section 5), and may retain and use it as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce its agreements and policies. Usage Data is kept for internal analysis, normally for a shorter period, unless it serves to strengthen security or improve functionality, or the law requires longer. No figure is published: the policy gives no retention period in months or years. Deletion is available, since section 10 says you can access, update or delete your personal data directly in your account settings or by writing to arman@parthean.com. Information collected from anyone under 18 without verified parental consent is deleted (section 14). Anonymised processing is claimed on the client application page but is not repeated in the privacy policy.

Hosting summary

The only hosting statement in the documentation concerns jurisdiction. Section 6 of the privacy policy says that for users located outside the United States, data, including personal data, is transferred to the United States and processed there. Data may be held on computers outside the user's own jurisdiction, where data protection law may differ. Parthean undertakes to take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure secure processing and not to transfer data to any organisation or country without adequate controls in place. Section 8 adds that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure and that absolute security cannot be guaranteed. No country other than the United States is named, and no region, hosting provider or data centre is identified. The client application page claims encryption to the highest standards, advanced SSL and TLS protocols, regularly updated infrastructure, no resale of data and anonymised processing on the algorithm side. No certification is claimed, whether SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA. One technical detail found off-site: www.parthean.com is served from an Amazon network (AS16509), but that concerns the marketing site and says nothing about where client data is hosted.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Parthean.

  • Uncertain service status verified on 13/08/2026: the application platform does not respond and the iOS app has been withdrawn from the App Store, so committing without checking with the publisher exposes a firm to a service that may not be available
  • Legal documents out of step with the product: the privacy policy of 06/02/2022 describes the earlier consumer app and does not cover the processing of client files by a professional platform
  • No written commitment on training models from customer data and no opt-out, while a firm uploads tax returns, estate plans, insurance policies, loan and investment statements, among the most sensitive documents there are
  • No postal address, no DPA, no subprocessor list and no Article 27 EU representative: recourse and traceability are limited for a European firm
  • Handing document reading to an AI: an extraction error can go unnoticed, and the advisor gradually loses the first-read control of the file
  • A first-draft plan produced in seconds can be taken for finished work; professional liability stays entirely with the advisor
  • The terms allow suspension or termination of an account at the publisher's sole discretion without notice, personal data may be transferred to a third party in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, and no independent certification backs the 'bank-level security' claims
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low on the technical side. There is nothing to install for the advisor: the platform runs in a browser, and with no API, no connector to configure and no developer documentation, there is no integration work either. The real delay is commercial, since access goes through a scheduled demo rather than a sign-up form. Functional set-up means sending a form, uploading documents and letting the extractors import the data; the form builder needs some initial configuration, although templates are supplied. On the end-client side, it comes down to downloading the app and linking bank accounts through Plaid.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who is Parthean for?
For financial advisors first: the homepage is titled 'Parthean For Advisors' and presents an AI-assisted financial planning platform. A second, client-facing application exists, which the advisor shares with the people they serve and which is also sold directly to consumers.
What does the AI actually do for an advisor?
It extracts data from client documents, produces a first draft of a financial plan, analyses a portfolio, writes a one-page research note, surfaces planning opportunities, generates a client-specific meeting agenda, and answers questions through paraplanner agents that research and analyse the client file.
Which documents can the extraction handle?
Tax returns, estate plans, investment statements, insurance policies and loan statements. The homepage announces 15 extractors 'and counting', with data imported directly into the platform.
How much does Parthean cost?
The advisor platform has no published price at all; access is arranged through a demo. The only price on the site belongs to the consumer client application: USD 14.99 per month or USD 119.99 per year. That figure should not be read as the cost of the advisor platform.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, but on the consumer side only: a one-month free trial on the client application subscription, cancellable at any time, after which billing follows the plan chosen. There is no permanent free plan, and the advisor platform offers no trial, only a scheduled demo.
How do I get started?
By booking a demo slot from the homepage, which opens a HubSpot calendar. No self-service sign-up is offered for the advisor platform.
Is there an API?
No. The site publishes no API page and no developer documentation, so a custom integration with an existing practice management stack is not possible.
Does Parthean recommend investments or trades?
No. The tool states that it will never make a decision for you or recommend a trade, and the footer disclaimer rules out financial, investment and tax advice. The stated role is informational and preparatory, with the professional judgement left to the advisor.
Conclusion

Should you pick Parthean?

Parthean For Advisors makes a clear, well-bounded promise: give an advisor back the hours spent reading documents, keying in data and preparing meetings. The five pillars, from data gathering and extraction to planning, paraplanning research and a client-facing app, follow a real workflow rather than a feature list, and the six sample deliverables published on the homepage give an unusually concrete idea of what comes out. The refusal to recommend a trade is deliberate and keeps the professional judgement, and the regulatory exposure, on the advisor's side.

Against that: no advisor pricing is published, the only way in is a scheduled demo, there is no API and no security certification, and the legal documents predate the product on display, with a privacy policy from 06/02/2022 and terms from 22/01/2024 that describe the earlier consumer app rather than a professional platform handling client files.

The open question is the state of the service. Several signals checked on 13/08/2026 point towards dormancy: platform.parthean.com does not respond, the iOS application is no longer listed on the App Store, the marketing site has not been republished since 11/04/2025, the blog stops in April 2024 and the careers page shows no open roles. No public announcement of a shutdown or an acquisition was found, so this remains an unresolved question rather than a conclusion, but it is one to settle first.

For an independent advisor or a small firm buried in document entry, the concept is one of the better-argued ones in this niche. Note that the consumer client application, the only part of the brand carrying a published price, is a separate product from the advisor platform. Anyone considering Parthean should ask the publisher directly whether the service is still operating before committing to it.
