Pexo
Pexo is an AI video agent: describe an idea in plain words, or give it a script, image, audio or link, and it returns a finished video with voice-over, captions, music and motion graphics for social platforms.
What is Pexo?
Pexo positions itself as an AI video agent, a category it deliberately sets apart from both the AI video generator and the video editor. A generator turns a prompt into a raw clip; an editor leaves every step to you; the agent, in Pexo's own words, owns the whole job. You describe what you want in ordinary language, and the system interprets the intent, proposes a creative direction, plans the shots, picks the model best suited to each step and delivers a finished, ready-to-post video rather than a few seconds of footage.
Four agent behaviors are advertised on the home page: understanding intent beyond the literal prompt, using context, references and creative direction; planning, with storyboards and structure shown before full production runs; delivering, with narration, music, captions and transitions assembled; and improving through feedback, applying revisions without starting from scratch.
Under the hood, Pexo routes each step to third-party models rather than running one of its own. Seedance 2.0, Happy Horse 1.0, GPT-Image-2, Nano Banana and Kling AI 3.0 are named on the site; the pricing page adds Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, Seedream and ElevenLabs, and the company blog also cites Sora. Model selection is automatic, which is the practical point: you are not expected to know which engine suits which scene.
The input surface is wide. Ten entry modes are listed on the features page, among them image-to-video, text-to-video, audio-to-video, URL-to-video, script-to-video, AI avatar, lip sync, image generation and music generation. Thirteen vertical tools sit on top of them, from SOP-to-video and whitepaper-to-video to video translation, long-video-to-shorts and AI voiceover. Nine video types get dedicated pages, including product ads, social videos, explainers, short stories, anime, ASMR and cinematic pieces. Output is presented as publishable as it stands on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X, and a certified OpenClaw skill lets you generate straight from a conversation.
The terms describe the platform more broadly as a service for creating video, image, audio and other media and for interacting with AI agents. The site is English-only across its 839 sitemap URLs, the domain was registered in June 2025, and no company address or full legal name is published anywhere.
What it does
- Describe an idea in plain language and get a finished video back
- Turn text, a script, an image, an audio file or a URL into video
- Produce voice-over, captions, music and motion graphics in the same pass
- Create a talking AI avatar from a script or a photo
- Translate and dub an existing video, transcription and subtitles included
- Cut a long video into short, self-contained clips
- Re-edit an existing video by describing the changes in plain language
When to use Pexo / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Pexo is the right fit.
When to use Pexo
- Marketers and founders who need a post-ready video without booking an editor
- Social media creators publishing several short videos every week
- Small teams with no video editing skill and no prompt engineering habit
- E-commerce and product teams building ads from product photos and page links
- Content and enablement teams turning documents into video: SOPs, whitepapers, case studies, onboarding material
When not to use Pexo
- Occasional users who only need one short clip, where a per-clip generator costs far less
- Tight budgets: Pexo's own comparison article calls its plan the highest monthly price on that list
- Editors who want frame-level control, since the agent decides the model and the structure
- Developers looking for an API, as the site publishes no API documentation and no mobile app
- Anyone under 18, who is excluded by the terms of service
How to use Pexo
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account: Gmail sign-in is advertised at around 30 seconds, with no credit card required
- Open the workspace and drop in your raw material: product photos, clips, an audio file, a reference link
- Describe the goal in plain language; a rough, half-formed brief is explicitly fine, for example 'Make a 30-second upbeat ad for my new sneakers'
- Let Pexo analyze the inputs and return several creative concepts, each with a visual preview
- Pick the concept that fits your strategy; the production plan is shown before full production runs
- Let the agent execute: model choice, scenes, voice-over, music and captions are handled in one pass
- Redirect at any point, skip a step, relaunch one, or ask for a revision without starting from scratch
- Watch the credit balance at the top right of the product home page; 'View details' breaks usage down in 10-minute blocks
- Export the finished video: watermark-free export is what the paid tiers unlock
- Optionally drive Pexo from an OpenClaw conversation instead of the web workspace
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A single credit pool covers the whole chain: visuals, voice-over, captions, music and images
- No editing skill and no prompt engineering required, which removes the usual barrier to entry
- Automatic model selection means fewer credits burned re-running a brief on the wrong engine
- Output is designed to be published as it stands, without a second editing tool
- Watermark-free export on every paid tier, and generated music announced as royalty-free
- Wide input range (text, script, image, audio, URL) and iterative revisions that do not restart from zero
- Trial credits at sign-up with no credit card, fast Gmail login, and subscription management through the Stripe portal
Cons
- Monthly entry price is high next to per-clip generators, something Pexo writes itself in its own comparison article
- Subscription credits do not roll over: they expire at the end of every billing cycle
- Nothing is refundable, including unused credits and the price difference paid at upgrade, and a downgrade only takes effect at the next cycle
- Corporate opacity: no postal address, no full legal name and no identifiable beneficial owner anywhere on the site
- No data processing agreement, no named sub-processor list, no Article 27 EU representative, and the acronym GDPR appears nowhere
- The site never states whether customer content is used to train models
- No public API and no mobile app, and the pricing page is JavaScript-rendered, so the amounts are unreadable without a browser
Pricing & Plans
Pexo does not advertise a permanent free plan. Signing up grants a one-off allowance of trial credits, with no credit card required. Paid access is a monthly credit subscription in three tiers, the lowest starting at USD 30 per month for 4,800 credits; the middle tier is USD 60 per month for 10,000 credits, and the top tier starts at USD 100 per month for 18,000 credits and scales linearly with the volume selected. Every paid tier unlocks watermark-free export, and one credit balance serves video, image, audio and caption generation alike. Please note that these amounts are published on Pexo's own blog and corroborated by its credit rules page: the pricing page itself is JavaScript-rendered and served no figures as a static source, so the exact contents of each tier should be confirmed on the live page before purchase.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Pexo handles your data.
GDPR overview
The acronym GDPR appears nowhere on the site, and Pexo never claims compliance in so many words. The privacy policy dated 21 February 2026 nonetheless runs the machinery: a dedicated Legal Basis for Processing (For EEA/UK Users) section citing performance of the contract, legitimate interests and consent; international transfers, Singapore included, covered by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses; and rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, exercised through support@pexo.ai. What is missing is just as precise: no Article 27 EU representative, no named data protection officer, no postal address, no published data processing agreement and no list of named sub-processors, only trusted third-party vendors as a category. A separate CCPA/CPRA section covers California residents. Governing law is Singapore, with SIAC arbitration. The substance is largely aligned; the declaration is absent.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service dated 1 June 2026, you keep ownership of everything you upload, text, images, videos and prompts, and Pexo treats the AI-generated Outputs as your User Content as well, while warning that similar Outputs may be generated for other users. In exchange you grant Pexo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and process that content, for the sole purpose of providing, improving and securing the Service. Pexo retains all rights to the Service itself: its software, its models and its brand. One practical catch: downloading or exporting your own Outputs can require an active subscription and varies by tier.
Reuse rights
Because the terms treat generated Outputs as your own User Content, you may use, publish and monetize them without asking Pexo for permission; no attribution requirement and no editorial approval step is imposed. Two limits temper that freedom. Export is a paid feature, since the terms state that downloading Outputs may require an active subscription and varies by plan, and exclusivity is never promised, the terms acknowledging that similar Outputs may be generated for other users. On Pexo's side, the privacy policy dated 21 February 2026 states that its AI models process your User Content to produce the videos, processing it calls integral to the Service. Data is also used to operate and improve the Service, to communicate, to analyze usage trends, to secure the platform and to meet legal obligations. Personal information is not sold, and sharing is limited to service providers such as hosting, analytics, support and payment, to legal obligations, to a corporate transfer, or to what you consent to. Nowhere does the site say whether customer content feeds model training, and it explicitly asks you not to upload sensitive data such as financial information or identity documents.

Hosting summary
Pexo publishes no primary hosting country, no region and no named data center. The privacy policy dated 21 February 2026 states that the company operates globally and that information, including personal data and User Content, may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the user's own, naming Singapore explicitly alongside the unspecified locations where its service providers operate. Those transfers are said to carry appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. No data residency option is offered, and no sub-processor is named: the policy speaks only of trusted third-party vendors. Security is described as reasonable technical and organizational measures, with no certification cited, neither SOC 2 nor ISO 27001 appearing anywhere on the site. On the technical side, the domain resolves to 34.54.81.241, an anycast address belonging to Google LLC (AS396982), which is an infrastructure signal observed from outside and not a statement by the publisher. Legally, the terms point to Singapore as well, with Singapore law governing and SIAC arbitration settling disputes.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Pexo.
- Subscription credits expire at the end of every cycle and nothing is refundable: not the subscription, not the upgrade difference, not the unused balance
- Downloading your own Outputs can require an active subscription, so letting a plan lapse can put finished work out of reach
- The terms acknowledge that similar Outputs may be generated for other users, so nothing you produce is exclusive to you
- Total liability is capped at USD 100, Singapore law applies and disputes go to mandatory SIAC arbitration in English, a remote and costly path for a European or American user
- Pexo may terminate an account at any time, with or without cause and without notice, and the site publishes no postal address to write to
- The site never states its position on training models on customer content, while the terms license processing to improve the Service. The privacy policy explicitly asks you not to upload sensitive data such as financial information or identity documents
- Handing the whole creative chain to an agent is comfortable and habit-forming: framing, pacing and script discipline fade when you stop practicing them, and a feed of near-identical AI videos carries a real reputational cost. Pricing figures also come from the publisher's blog rather than the pricing page, so confirm them before paying
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Nothing to install: Pexo is a web application and the only prerequisite is an account, with Gmail sign-in advertised at around 30 seconds and no credit card. No prompt engineering and no editing skill are expected, and the first video follows three conversational steps: brief, concept choice, delivery. The only genuine learning curve is the credit system, meaning the difference between subscription, bonus and add-on credits, the order in which they are consumed, and the fact that subscription credits expire each cycle. Connecting the account to OpenClaw is an optional advanced route.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI models does Pexo use?
What does it cost, and do unused credits carry over?
Can I get a refund, and how do I cancel?
Is there a watermark, and who owns the videos?
Is there an API or a mobile app?
Where is my data processed?
Is there a minimum age, and how do I reach support?
Should you pick Pexo?
Pexo makes one clear bet: rather than selling seconds of raw footage and leaving the assembly to you, it sells a single credit balance covering the whole chain, shots, voice-over, music, captions and motion, and hands back a video you can publish as it stands. The trade-off is explicit, and Pexo states it in its own comparison article: the monthly entry price sits above that of per-clip generators, and you buy that difference back in finishing time you no longer spend.
The people best served are marketers, founders and social creators who publish regularly, have no editing team, and gain from not having to decide which model suits which scene. Anyone who needs a single short clip, or who wants frame-level control over the edit, will find both the arithmetic and the philosophy working against them. There is no public API and no mobile app.
Two reservations deserve attention before subscribing. The first is corporate: no postal address, no full legal name, no identifiable owner, and one email address serving legal, privacy and support alike. The privacy policy applies the mechanics of European data protection, EEA/UK legal bases, Standard Contractual Clauses, data subject rights, yet the acronym GDPR appears nowhere, no Article 27 representative is named and no data processing agreement is published. The site is equally silent on model training. The second is commercial: subscription credits expire each cycle, nothing is refundable, Singapore law and SIAC arbitration govern disputes, and total liability is capped at USD 100.
Judged on its product, Pexo is a coherent and unusually complete answer to a real problem. Judged on its transparency, it asks for more trust than it currently documents.
